Siamo tornati dopo 7 anni perché eravamo rimasti soddisfatti la prima volta e confermiamo il giudizio.

The staff were exceptional. From the friendly greeting by Rachana with her friendly disposition and eagerness to help to the delightful gentlemen Gorakh that assisted us to our room and settled us in. We did change rooms as we found the ‘backside’ of the hotel a little quieter rather than street side but honestly it wasn’t too bad street side just we are light sleepers. The room change created no fuss from Rochana and she was happy to accomodate and gave us a choice of rooms. Gorakh was quick to ensure the ac was on in the second room and assisted with bags to our new room. No fuss just happy to help. Comfortable rooms. Generator power back up is seamless. Good wifi.

Me and family stayed for 2 nights, we booked their studio room. Location is great to roamaround and shop, right in Thamel. Staffs are very welcoming and pleasing. I can't thank them enough for the late check out option provided. The services they provide where literally just one call away. Even being in such a crowdy neighbourhood, the room was very peaceful, my 9 month old baby slept without any disturbances.

I felt the wear and tear clearly shows the age of the property but considering the rate and location I think some sacrifice is undeniable.

It is a nice central Hotel with cozy and comfy Rooms . Staff is very nice too . Kitchen is top. And a Very Nice Roof Top Terrace as well is there available .

The breakfast was superb. Staffs were helpful. Value for money. Good room service.

One of their room smelled like mold and there were molds in the bathroom walls and curtains. But on our request they immediately provided us with another room.

Очень просторный номер: большая кровать, стол, стулья. Горячая вода, что очень важно после возвращения из трека. Отель находится на тихой улочке, поэтому никакого шума, как в других отелях. Очень вкусные завтраки на крыше отеля: шведский стол + приготовят яйца как нравится, есть фрукты, овощи. И великолепный сервис: решат любые вопросы, очень дружелюбный персонал, всегда идёт на встречу.

Mi sono trovato veramente bene perché mi sono sentito a casa visto che sono stato accolto nel migliore dei modi. La colazione era a buffet ma anche con la possibilitá di ordinare piatti cucinati sul momento ed erano deliziosi. L'hotel é in un'ottima posizione che permette di spostarsi facilmente a piedi ma comunque in una strada tranquilla anche se nel centro di Thamel. Ho amato soggiornare qui perché ho potuto esplorare le principali aree ma allo stesso tempo ho avuto tutto il comfort necessario per riposare al meglio. Ho amato pranzare e cenare perché i miei cuochi sono stati eccezionali. Lo staff come anche il proprietario, oltre ad accogliermi con dolcezza, mi sono stati anche di aiuto nel consigliarmi i migliori modi per vivermi Kathmandu.

Room was Much darker and more tired than in pictures, and booking.com listed many things not there: hottub, dressing room, dining table, suite (means more than one room)

Throughout our time here the staff could not have been more helpful. From reception to the restaurant, everyone was so helpful and lovely and it had a really good feel about it. You could ask anything and they would help you out. Can’t recommend these people more.

Staffs way of dealing with customers is excellent specially Mrs. Rachana's polite behavior and management capabilities is appreciatable..Next time I will stay here and also tell others family friends.

I enjoyed my stay at this family run hotel. It's in a convenient location in Thamel but a little bit off the major streets so it's quiet at night.

The location of the hotel and the kindness of all the staff. The manager, Mr Swansee was helpful providing lots of information about the country, people and help to organize my thoughts about Nepal (big thank to him). Miss Rachana Deukota was amazing helping to make my stay comfortable, providing information and proposing solutions, My wife and I adored her and her kindness. We where extremely happy with everybody in the hotel from the door man to the cleaners to the restaurant team. wonderful staff, if we will have a second chance to visit Nepal we will be choosing this hotel again. all was good, no issue at all

At arrival, one room was give (room 301) which was beyond expectation. Very dirty floor, dirty microwave, not functioning fridge, windows so filthy you could not see through them, balcony doors not falling on the locks, door handles stained with pigeon poo: just horrible. Went to the clerk at reception who mentioned there were no other rooms and displayed a very not-interested nasty attitude. When asked for a full refund, he called the manager and all of a sudden, another room was available. This was room 405. Went to inspect this room as same story as 301. Not acceptable at all. Finally room 306 was shown and and this appeared to be a little better. However, the floor and furniture were very dusty bathroom was now finally OK and acceptable: however the level of cleanliness was not. I ended up cleaning the floor and furniture myself and asked for a mop and cleaning detergent. Delivered was a very black dirty mob and no detergent at all. Guy..this is the level of the Avataar hotel. Breakfast on the top floor is a big joke. except for the view. Dirty stained cups and ended up with rash on my tongue. I took just one day breakfast only where I only drank the tea wit this result. Positive matter is the water pressure and warmth of the shower. ON the first day of breakfast I met the manager/owner? who wanted to have my opinion and would connect with me later on. I briefly shared my experience and never heard from him again. This hotel is a big rip off.

Staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel of location and the staff making it positive experience. Hotel is old but the staff made it a great experience.

I'm really glad that I stayed in this hotel. The staff members gave me a very warm welcome on arrival and they were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My executive suite was very spacious and really lovely for the price. The bed was also super comfortable. The location was also very convenient to get to local attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.

The friendly staffs as always and the quite street made my stay a memorable one. I was treated like a god there, very nice rooms, breakfast and the beds in fact. Highly recommended property to stay in Thamel.

Great location in the heart of Thamel. The staff were amazing and helped us with booking a driver for the day for us to explore many sights in and around the city. Breakfast was also decent. The great staff is what really made our stay here!

Not the most brand new hotel but even though it was basic, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

A family run hotel with in house restaurant on the rooftop where panoramic views can be enjoyed. The rooms are clean spacious and very comfortable. Hotel Staff are very helpful. Excellent location in bustling Thamel. Owner arranged trips.

My room was very quiet, given how loud and noisy the streets of Thamel are. The staff is very friendly.

My air conditioner could only cool the room down but could not heat. So, they gave me a very old and big heater, which worked just fine.

Good afternoon! I stayed at this hotel in early January. I'll start with the staff. Very friendly and caring people, thank you for your care and comfort. I would especially like to mention the manager of the Nabin Hotel! I helped with booking comfortable bus tickets to Pokhara. Always in touch and ready to solve any situation! The room meets expectations, the prices are normal. I've arranged breakfast, you won't stay hungry.

Great location on one of the few quieter streets in Thamel. Super friendly staff that will make you feel at home during your stay. My favorite feature was the rooftop, which one of the highest in Thamel, and great for soaking up the scenary of mountains and some glorious sunshine - also with it being the highest up there privacy is very well established too. Ruchana and Sanjay were phenomenal managers and will ensure you are comfortable and well settled.

The room was noisy because of the busy streets.

The Property is very conveniently located in the Most Happening place in Kathmandu i.e. Thamel. Thamel is the place for youngsters/couples/shoppers. The Hotel Rooms given to us were very cozy, with Balconies and basically all things that were presented on Booking.com. However there were a couple misses, that could have been handled better.

The hotel runs on a skeleton staff, who are probably over-worked and that causes slow service. The hotel only serves Breakfast Buffet when there are ample number of guests with Breakfast option included. However, if you have chosen the "with Breakfast" option and buffet is not there you can still order breakfast, just that it will take forever to be made available.

One of the best hotels in Kathmandu at its price. Everything is good about the place, the clean and large rooms (we got the one with balcony), extremely hospitable staff and really good food for breakfast. Highly recommend the place.

They overcharge me

The staff here are amazing! They are very accommodating and will do whatever they can to make sure you have a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and include a bottle of water each day. The location is convenient for access to restaurants, bars and lots of shopping (very touristy area).

Thamel is a very busy area and street noise starts early and doesn't stop until quite late, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway this isn't it, but if you're looking for fun and vibrancy this area is perfect!

It is a long list of things I liked at "Avataar". It's not just its location/excellent value for money/great facilities in the Apartment/the cleanliness of the room/ the good sized balcony/the bathroom facilities: excellent/the good size and comfortable bed/ the added 'small' things: good lighting/good extra writing tables/good sized refrigerator/kettle/ great Wi-Fi speed/excellent food in their Restaurant/ plenty of seating /instant contact with Reception /tea and sugar provided/ good shower pressure. But it is ALL the staff who make all these things available and maintained. Because of their genuine care your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as is possible. They go out of their way, to make you feel instantly 'at home'. Traveling in a foreign Country only makes your trip that much more fun and enjoyable. I cannot praise the staff enough. They deserve all and most of the credit for making "Avataar" the success it is. I booked a second time after a trip to Pokhara. I would not stay anywhere else, from now on. I only hope that the Management of the "Avataar" appreciates the staff as much as I have. I wish them and "Avataar" all the success it fully deserves.

Convenient and very well located in order to explore the central parts of Kathmandu. Large rooms and friendly staff that take care and make sure that your vacation in Kathmandu moves smoothly. And a roof top terrace adds to the benefits you get by staying here.
