Het aanbod voor het ontbijt was prima, echter werd niets op tijd aangevuld en het bestek en servies was smoezelig, ook de tafeltjes werden laat schoongemaakt waardoor je niet zomaar een tafeltje kon nemen.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Me encantó que había 2 tipos de almohadas diferentes y además la posibilidad de pedir mas opciones. El desayuno espectacular, el personal, cálido y cuidadoso.
Me hubiese gustado que hubiera una opción de desayuno mas economica y sencilla para los que quizás no comemos tanto, aunque quizás esta propuesta es compleja para la dinámica general del desayuno. Pero todo ha estado muy bien.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Very clean and accessible for a wheelchair user. Staff I dealt with were exceptional. Especially Mia the receptionist, she was informative, friendly, welcoming and brilliant with my mum (it was her 84th birthday). Mia went above and beyond.
The charge of £30 for an extra bed on the room even though there wasn’t an extra person was unnecessary.

The dinner on our first night wasn't the best. Main meal was over cooked and no sweet available. They were catering for a coach party so could appreciate they were busy. We ate out for meals the remaining nights - good choice of restaurants nearby

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Immer wieder ein tolles Hotel für meinen Aufenthalt in Sunderland. Alles modern und hell. Das Personal stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist für ein englisches Hotel wirklich umfangreich, frisch und lecker. Ich komme immer gern wieder zurück.
Hatte diesmal ein Zimmer mit Blick auf einen Innenhof. Der fehlende Ausblick wäre nicht das Problem gewesen, aber die Lüftungsanlagen an Nachbargebäude haben eher unterschwellig brummende aber dennoch belastende Geräusche gemacht und eine entspannte Nachtruhe unmöglich gemacht. Am nächsten Morgen sehr unkompliziert und zuvorkommend in ein neues Zimmer umgechecked. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!

Unfortunately on arrival the card key would not operate the room door lock. No one present could fix the problem. As a consequence whenever we left the room we had to ask a member of staff to accompany us back to the room to give us access. Very disappointing and frustrating. This felt especially disappointing, and not up to standard, when we had paid so much for the room in the first place.
