The property was so beautiful, rooms were clean, incredible location, quiet, nice and rooftop pool. What made it incredible was the wonderful Alfonso - the best host! He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, and his calming presence was especially needed in assisting us get in and out of the carpark with our minivan. Could not more strongly recommend a stay with Alfonso and his team.

Incrível atendimento , tudo muito limpo e casa muito bem localizada, com todas as comodidades . Bom pequeno almoço , parking acessível, tem elevador o que é muito pratico e quartos são grandes . Piscina muito bonita.

Precisava de uma panela extra secalhar para cozinhar .

Eines der schönsten Hotels auf unserer Andalusien-Reise - perfekte Lage, wunderschön eingerichtetes Appartment (mit tollem indirekten Licht und allem, was man braucht & mehr), tolle Patio und schöner Pool auf dem Dach. Alles sehr privat! Alfonso war toll, er hat uns tolle Essenstipps gegeben und uns beim Parken geholfen! Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Positionné idéalement au cœur du centre ville de Cordoue, pourtant accessible en taxi, l'hôtel est magnifiquement rénové. Les chambres sont spacieuses, sobrement et joliment décorées. Service attentionné et impeccable! Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

The reception manager was very courteous and helpful. We were guided to the Hotel as it is in the historic area. Soon after we unloaded our bags, the manager assisted us personally to take to the garage and park the large suv safely. This was much more than we expected. When leaving, the manger did the same thing and we were on our way with bags loaded right at the door of the hotel! The room was big enough for 4 adults, and we had a fully functional small kitchenette.

El hotel es bello, además se encuentra en una ubicación excepcional. Alfonso y la señora que se encarga del desayuno y el cuidado del hotel son dos personas maravillosas. Hicieron de nuestra estancia una experiencia inolvidable. El nivel de amor y compromiso en los detalles invita a regresar.

Alfonso and Yanet were superb. Very friendly and hospitable. Despite our late arrival they were patient to wait for us. Also supported us the following day waiting for us till 1pm to pick up the car from the garage. The room was huge and very well looked after. Nice cost place, an old house remodified to a hotel.

Nothing worth mentioning. Probably, further tune downwards the air-conditioning. The room is high and large, the temperature outside was over 40 during the day and the cooling was just at the borders. Some guests might need a bit cooler some would be ok.

Great service from Alfonso who greeted us and showed us around, the room was really well decorated with a cool and innovative colour scheme, the roof top pool and terrace, the internal courtyard with the bubbling fountain, an honour bar with a beer tap, and finally the Roman ruins in the basement. Could not have been better.

Superb location - literally alongside the Mezquita, metres from the Puente Romano and the Alcázar. Great roof top terrace with views across the city, private parking and a pool. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful.

Nuestra estancia en Casa del Cardenal fue simplemente maravillosa. Desde el primer momento fuimos recibidos de una manera excepcional por Alfonso y Janet, dos personas encantadoras que te hacen sentir bienvenido y como en casa desde el primer minuto. Fueron súper amables, atentos y disponibles en todo momento, también con nuestros niños, con quienes se portaron de maravilla. La casa es preciosa, cuidada con muchísimo gusto en cada detalle, muy limpia y con un ambiente especial que te hace sentir realmente bien. Se nota el cariño y la dedicación que ponen en todo. Además, Alfonso nos explico con mucho detalle qué visitar, dónde comer y cómo disfrutar mejor de Córdoba, con recomendaciones excelentes. La ubicación y la experiencia en general fueron perfectas. La colación fue también estupenda, muy completa y preparada con mucho cariño. Sin duda volveremos muy pronto. Muchas gracias de corazón por todo, ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.

Excellent location, right in the heart of everything

Alfonso is a very attentive host – the Casa del Cardenal isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a home away from home during your time in Córdoba. Alfonso got in touch beforehand and was then waiting for me in person at the entrance at the agreed time to open the door. After a welcome drink, he explained how everything worked at the hotel and was on hand to provide further information on restaurants, excursions and so on. The room was brilliant: clean, very quiet (you’re right in the centre yet hear almost nothing of the city noise), with water and coffee always topped up the next day; you couldn’t hear the air conditioning, but it ran very comfortably. Breakfast was served with a smile and was excellent. Next time I’m in Córdoba, I’ll definitely book with Alfonso and his team again. Thank you!

Die Lage, der Boutique Style mit nur 5 Zimmern, die supermoderne Einrichtung und vor allem das Rooftop mit Pool und Blick auf die Kathedrale. Alfonso, der mit authentischer Freundlichkeit und Fürsorge jederzeit zur Stelle war. Es war die beste Unterkunft auf unserem Roadtrip durch Andalusien.

Das Frühstück ist speziell es muss ausgewählt werden ohne zu wissen was man bekommt es ist okey nicht 15 Euro Wert.

The hotel is absolutely lovely. It has been restored to ensure modern comfort, but in keeping with a grand Andalusian villa. As soon as you walk through the doors you feel as if you are in an oasis. The terrace and pool have lovely views, every afternoon after walking all day, we would take a dip in the pool which was very refreshing. The honor bar is a lovely touch. The location is just perfect, you are steps from the Mosque, restaurants and shops. When we return to Córdoba, we will stay again. Alfonso and Janet are the true stars, very kind, engaging and obviously devoted to their jobs. We loved the hotel, so Janet took us and another couple who were staying there on a tour to see two other rooms. Everything is created and maintained with love. A true find!

L’emplacement est vraiment central. La décoration est magnifique. La chambre est très originale et agréable.Tout est parfait, la literie, les accessoires de la salle de bain . Alfonso nous a très bien accueilli, ses conseils (restos et visites) se sont révélés très bien. On se sent vraiment bien reçu. Nous recommandons vivement. Le petit déjeuner est parfait.

The property was beautiful designed, in a brilliant location for exploring the city and Alfonso was a fab host! Loved the honesty bar too - such a lovely retreat at the end of a busy day exploring.

Nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit mais aurions souhaité rester plus longtemps. La Casa del Cardenal est une oasis de paix au milieu de la vieille ville de Cordoue. Merci à Alfonso pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Ne passez pas à côté de ce magnifique établissement situé tout à côté de la Mezquita.

Le seul point négatif : Si vous venez en voiture il faut vous garer assez loin et marcher au minimum 20 minutes pour rejoindre la Casa del Cardenal.

L agent a la réception était vraiment très sympathique et très serviable même sous la pluie il est venu nous guider jusqu’à au parking Une belle expérience

La localisation de l’appartement est top ! À 2min à pieds de la Mezquita Catedrale et autres lieux magnifiques à visiter. La gentillesse et accueil du staff. La chambre était joliment décorée.

Beautiful historic Casa renovated to a high standard but still retaining character with cellars dating back to Roman times. Amazing views from the roof terrace. The location was perfect for exploring Cordoba. Alfonso was a very genial host who provided great recommendations for sights and restaurants outside the main tourist hub. Can thoroughly recommend the delicious breakfasts cooked and served by delightful Yanet who welcomed us each morning. We stayed 5 nights and were sorry to leave.

Casa del Cardenal ist eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Wunderschöne Appartements, beste Lage und ein tolles Frühstück. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und in allen Anliegen bestens unterstützt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Alles was geweldig: de locatie, direct bij de Mesquira. De ontvangst was zo hartelijk en onze kamer maar ook het totale verblijf: de ontbijtruimte, het dakterras, allemaal zo prachtig gedecoreerd. Enorm vriendelijk personeel ook. We hebben hierdoor erg genoten van ons verblijf in Cordoba. Een echte aanrader!

Sehr schönes Hotel in aller bester Lage und Parkmöglichkeit des Autos keine 100 Meter von der Mezquita entfernt. Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten sehr bequem. Auch das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend. Wir können dieses Hotel nur empfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Cardenal in Córdoba. The apartment itself was beautiful, comfortable, and very well located, making it easy to explore the historic center of the city. The staff was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely recommend Casa del Cardenal to anyone visiting Córdoba and would happily stay here again in the future. And it has a spectacular terrace with magnificent views of the cathedral.

Authentic, cozy, and tastefully designed apartments in a perfect central location, with a wonderful rooftop terrace, a self‑service bar, and excellent hosts. Everything you could wish for on a holiday. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Very comfortable quiet accomodation in a fantastic location in the centre of Cordoba. Our host was really helpful especially with advice when we got our car clamped... Really clean accomodation - roof terrace would also be lovely later in the year. Highly recommend this accomodation.
