Dolphin Continental Hotel

I had a great 2 night stay at the Dolphin. My room was right next to the beach. I had everything I needed, a very comfortable room, with a seating area outside. There was a nice swimming pool. I had half board and the food was very good. All the staff were kind and helpful. I would stay again.

No towels, and I have never understood the Egyptian way of bed making. One bottom sheet and no top sheet, just a fluffy blanket.

I spend 5 nights as a honeymoon , They serve us an Excellent romantic dinner with flowers and candles , I can rate it as very good food and room views, the staff was so friendly and the food was good, the hotel beach contains some stones but you can go for another free beach about 3 minutes walk and this beach is sandy and contain no stones, the hotel pool is child friendly with 50 cm heights and there is another 170 height one for adults , i can rate it as 5 stars with good room service , receptionist and housekeeping staff ,it has a free ping pong and billiards tables also the package is affordable I highly recommended it for any one

We stayed for one night as we was planning for a rest on our way to Luxor, and it was extremely beautiful choice. Sunrise & Sunsite was stunning. The hotel and the garden is designed in a way to give you peace and relaxation beyond description. Local breakfast was amazing. The Staff of the hotel is amazing, especially Mr. Ihab. Extremely nice person. This place is perfect choice for couples who are searching for peace and quietness.

Unfortunately, They didn't take care of settings on the beach. mattresses were missing from most of wooden chairs and there was no one seems to watch for this. Beach staff don't dress a uniform. So, i couldn't say if this is a guest or staff when i see someone using Guests amenities. Maintenance should be done better for common amenities.

Cute one level room with bathroom .The pool was lovely. There are longes at the pool and at the beach. They keep the beach clean in front of their property.

Cant really swim or snorkel in Red Sea in front of the hotel

La chambre littéralement au bord de la plage, parfait pour se reposer lors d'un long voyage. Le personnel était aux petits soins. L'extérieur est très agréable. Pour info, la plage privée de l'hôtel est propre à part quelques petits déchets. Il y a un mur derrière lequel effectivement ce n'est pas nettoyé, mais ce n'est pas visible quand on est hors de l'eau.

Dolphin Continental is a nice place – I have been there several times. Things to like: 1. Friendly staff 2. Nice green garden - in the middle of it an area where you can enjoy the sea wind while sitting in the shade. 3. Fine swimming pool 4. Immediately at the beach - the beach is much cleaner than the public beaches near Quseir 5. The sea is a bit different than one may expect: the sea in front of the hotel is not deep enough to swim, but it's nice to walk (bring watershoes). Just right of the hotel there is a deeper area in the sea where swimming is possible - the guard at the beach will point it out. 6. Quseir is at a nice walking distance, especially if one walks over the beach (e.g., on a summer evening). From Quseir, it's easy to take a taxi back to the hotel. 7. Compared to other places at the Red Sea, Quseir is a town with more history and charm. 8. While humidity can be rather high near the sea in Quseir itself, the hotel is just far enough from Quseir to enjoy a more pleasant breeze and less humidity. 9. Far away from mass tourism - a variety of guests (group of divers, program for children with special needs, individuals taking time for reflection, couples and families, Egyptians and foreigners, etc.), with enough space/privacy for each. 10. Good food (buffet or served at table, depending on number of guests). 11. Airconditioned room with good bed, kettle, small desk, etc. 12. Free drinking water (daily bottles and refill option in restaurant)

The hotel is charming and very clean. It has a beautiful garden carefully maintained and is right on the beach front. The beach has sunbeds and umbrellas and the beach towels are provided. However, the staff left the strongest impression - the receptionist and the manager who were patient and tried to meet every request of ours, the chef who cooked a special lunch and breakfast for us and all the waiters who kindly took care of us. They really pampered us during our short stay.

The beach is clean and fully equipped, but it is impossible to swim there. There's a long shallow stretch, but it's rocky and swarming with starfish and there are also sea urchins. There's a sandy public beach though just to the left of the hotel. That beach is dirty, but the sea is good to swim in.

It was nice to have a swimming pool, it was 42 Celsius! Newly remodeled rooms, but not completed.

When we booked, it was our understanding that it was all inclusive, but beware, it is not. No alcoholic beverages available or even allowed, although abundant, the food is institutional in quality. Only one small bottle of water was given per person per day, this is ridiculous! It's the desert, it's hot (42 Celsius during our stay), when we asked for more, they said we could buy water bottles. Nobody said anything about refilling our bottles at the restaurant, we found that out later. Staff housing right behind rooms, noisy. Shower floor was VERY slippery and dangerous. Sometimes no water. TV broken, window didn't latch. Very poor instructions/directions when checking in. Book the Radisson! Not far from here and it's worth every penny.

The staff is very warm and welcoming, they will go out of their way to fulfill your request. The rooms are neat and clean. The location is isolated and right on the beach, however u need to access other side of the beach if you wanna a swim.

We struggled a lot with hotel wifi network. The fridge buzzing sound was constant in the room. shower water pressure was very slow.

It was an exceptional stay in this place. the staff were very nice and act professionally and more and treated us as we are in home. The Food was very delicious and the restaurant have good varieties and options in all meals. The place is near the city center and many things around. The place is very very calm and well recommended to couples and honeymooners. Many thanks to Mr.Tharwat, Mrs Aya, Mr. Abdlerahman and the whole staff the place captured our hearts❤️ we will get back soon.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful garden and the view from our private terrace over the beach and sea was fantastic. Lovely, clean room. At the time we were there it was very quiet and relaxing.

The food was good but at the start there was no choice. Once we queried this the manager was very helpful and the chef cooked whatever we wanted. It was just a pity we had to ask and this service was not offered.

This hotel is a beautiful place nearby the sea. The atmosphere is very warm, personal and cosy. The rooms are clean and make you feel at home. Coming out of your room, you step on the beach.

The hotel is nice, quiet and clean, especially the staff of this hotel are a great asset - they are very nice and helpful. We had a particularly good experience with Mr. Omar from the restaurant. Otherwise, the cleaning staff is also very helpful and accommodating.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room with veranda and sea view a real treat. Bed comfortable. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool clean and fresh. Table tennis and billiards provide fun evening sport. Snorkeling gear provided on site for free. Guide available to show best corals and pools. All in all quiet, friendly, spacious resort with beautiful gardens, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Dinner starts very late (8pm). Some litter on the beach that could be easily removed.

We had a great experience here. The food is delicious and the staff is super super kind and helpful. The manager personally makes sure that you’re having a great stay and that you have everything that you need 😊

The staff was excellent, friendly and always willing to help. Security was good to ensure people who are not guests can’t come into property. The grounds were pleasant and open and green.

I liked the family friendly atmosphere. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable.It is located in a very calm place and the night lighting is relaxing. It's also near to a swimming friendly beach. Overall I enjoyed my vacation there and the hotel was one of the reasons for that nice experience.

The location is a little far from the city so you need to book a taxi which takes a long time to arrive or walk for 25 mins to reach transportation. While the staff are overly welcoming, some of their interactions seemed fake to me.

Incredibly beautiful and peaceful place, top-level service, cozy atmosphere with lots of greenery around. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay even with small children. The food deserves special praise, very tasty breakfast and dinner. Very good internet in the room and throughout the hotel. One of the best places in Egypt. They were always willing to help us getting an amazing experience in el quseir. Mr Ahmad specially was really kind and helpful.

Egyptian food

A truly excellent stay. Everything about it was wonderful - such a beautiful resort and rooms. You had everything you needed and it was all so clean and comfortable. The staff were really welcoming, spoke excellent English and really helped us out in arranging a taxi from Safaga to here and then from the hotel to the bus stop when we left. Really filling breakfast included in the stay. Really loved the pools and a nice private beach, though unfortunately the water was a little too choppy to swim in when we were there. If you're going into town, our tip is you can walk along the beach to it. It doesn't show up on Google maps but it's all open pavement and it's much quicker and nicer. It was pretty empty when we there but I hope more people come and stay as it's such good value for money.

This is one of the nicest places we ever stayed in. Cute little bungalows right by the sea, all with sea view and sea sound. Beautiful and well tended gardens. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach and around the pool. Excellent food, made to our liking. The staff is so nice and helpful, they make you feel like a king. We did not want to leave.

We loved everyone and everything in this hotel! We came there just to check it out but got so impressed that decided to stay! Mr Alaa Moaz, the general manager, is really kind, very welcoming and extremely professional! What we really liked about all staff is that they are not just doing their jobs but put their hearts and souls in what they’re doing! And many of the staff are women which is really great!! We will be back for sure!!!

The location right on the hotel‘s own beach, the exceptional friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff and its appreciative treatment among themselves and with the guests including the hotel manager, who is very empathic, perceiving and treating each guest as an individual, while maintaining the necessary distance in any case, the peaceful atmosphere, the big, high-quality Egyptian breakfast, the incredible effort of the whole team, to read every wish from your eyes and to find quick solutions. The city can be reached on foot within a quarter of an hour, partly along the beach and if you want to, you can book individual trips with the hotel‘s own driver. Dear Dolphin-Continental-Hotel-Team, thank you for all! This was by far the most beautiful holiday in Egypt of my life, counting the days until I come back.

Everything’s was more than perfect; during the whole stay I felt more than welcome.

Very nice, atmospheric place. Rooms located in separate houses distinguish this place from a standard hotel, there are terraces next to the houses, where you can drink coffee, the sea is barely 100 meters away. Between the rooms and the sea there is a beautiful garden where you can watch the beautiful view of the sea even closer. The owner and the staff are extremely nice and friendly, they make sure that guests do not lack anything and help in various matters. Unlike Marsa Alam, where we only have hotels, here we can go for a walk to the nearby atmospheric old small Arab town. I recommend this place.

I went their in the first week of the year, it was perfect weather and perfect hotel, the place was super calm and clean, the staff were helpful, the garden is spectacular, the whole atmosphere was more than great. Recommend for meditation, diving, chilling, tripping, snorkeling, safari, and sightseeing.

The kindness and the service of the staff

We are family with 2 and half years old daughter and stay in the hotel for several days. Because they recently opened, we were the only hosts in the whole resort. The place is very very nice, clean and totally quite. The rooms are served with all comforts, clean and well maintained. The resort has many servis including pool, gym, sauna, and a private beach. The beach is ideal for small kids since it is a natural pool shallow for many meters because of the natural coral that calcified underneath. Although that, there is planty of sand to play with for kids. The most beautiful part is to enjoy the swimming beyond the coral, snorkeling and watching the thousands of fish leaving below. The lifeguard of the hotel would also come swimming with us if needed and he was always watching whenever we were swimming. The food was also one of the other enjoyable things here. The cook was making delicious traditional and less traditional dishes, even on request sometimes. Excellent food absolutely tasty. We were also brought to the town for the visit of the local fort and the town which was surprisingly interesting for such a small place! Overall, it was like being in some sort of small island in a private property with all comforts. I would recommend especially for people who appreciate nature beauty and less crazy artificial environments, big hotel resorts etc. Personal in the hotel is very friendly and helpful.

There is quite a lot of wind which might be advantage in summer and disadvantage over colder months. Still possible to swim even in December.

We enjoyed 3 days here and had a wonderful time. We were the only guests so we got a lot of attention-but in a very kind way. The whole staff made sure that we had everything we needed. The place is kept very clean and it's beautiful- the garden, the pool area and the beach. There is not much to explore around the hotel. It's an easy 15 min. walk to town on the beach; it mostly looks run down probably due to the lack of tourism in the past years. But it has potential and you'll find some restaurants, cafés and stores there. But you don't really need to go out as you can get anything you wish at the resort. Of course the prices for food and drinks are higher than outside, but it's worth it! (We had the best Molokhia and Baba ganoush in Egypt and great BBQ platters!). I highly recommend this place, especially for a few days of rest and doing nothing! And for those who get bored easily- you can book all kinds of tours and trips at the hotel.

it was a wonderful experience, the place is really nice and clean, the staff in the hotel are always available and willing to help, rooms view is amazing. restaurant is clean and organized. the gym is equipped well, the beach is wonderful and there's a house reef for snorkeling, Wifi connection is good, swimming pools is fair for adults and kids. excellent level of cleanliness. we had a nice and comfy rooms, it's really excellent value for money, a great hotel location near to many things, there's available car parking free of charge. as a group of friends we decided to come back for another vacation and the hotel become our chosen place for vacation in quseir or marsa alam, thanks to everyone!

the staff were pushy. there were no other guests. the breakfast was poor. the toilet was defected. the beach wasn’t accessible. we ordered water and it didn’t come. they call us at 7 am and several times during the day, so annoying. everyone is asking a lot of questions and being nosy about us!

Very welcoming management team and staff in general, the service is excellent. The garden very beautiful. Everything is clean. Perfect destination for relaxing in a calm and friendly atmosphere. For the price and the standing of the hotel I was positively surprised. very affordable for an excellent service and a clean hotel! I recommend it without hesitation.
