The hotel is walking distance from the centre and in a nice quiet square. Breakfast is good and the staff very friendly. The room was large and completely comfortable.

The Imago Plus Hotel is a true hidden gem in Bari! The hotel was elegant, the rooms were spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent and they have a lovely rooftop garden where you can see the bees make their honey. Thank you Antonio, Lucia and Roberto for being such gracious hosts and helping us feel at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!

Nice and clean look of the very spacy rooms. Very friendly staff. Nice bar/lounge area. Well located in Bari. Overall a nice stay, but quite pricy.

One AC (of two) more or less broken (very loud rattling noise and not cooling very well), rooms not really soundproof, barely no wardrobes or hangers, very pricy food and drinks.

Well located, quiet neighborhood, well appointed spacious rooms and onsite dining. Staff were always helpful and very friendly.

El capuccino de l'esmorzar bonissim i l'atenció rebuda exel-lent. Sobretot l'Antonio. Va ser molt amable i molt atent en facilitar-nos l'arribada a lhotel..el nostre vol va arribar en retard i vam arribar força tard i es va cuidar d'ajudar-nos on deixar el cotxe i sopar. gracies!!!

- theres no 24/7 reception in the hotel while it says theres - when we first checked in they gave us a whatapp no for any request or communication but when we had a complaint we were suprisef that we were told not to use the no to discuss it - in one of the rooms the AC was not working and when i sent a msg via whatsapp i was told that it is working and this is how it works to stabilize the temperature !! While in the other 2 rooms we booked it was working normal .. so i beleived what they said abd waited until the next day so someone can check it,,, when one of the staff came she then understood what i was trying to explain and asked the house keeper to fix it .. - suddenly i received the following message from the hotel owner/ management: ((((Hi Giorgia. The AC currently seems to be working properly, so there is no need for any specialized technical intervention. In any case, today is a national holiday and no technicians are on duty. Please inform the guest that check-out is at 10:30 a.m. We can allow them to check out by 11:00 a.m., but no later. I do not want to discuss this matter any further. The fact that the guest is not satisfied with our property does not entitle them to impose their own rules on us, disregard ours, or treat our staff in a demanding and disrespectful manner. For this reason, we are available to contact Booking.com and ask them to find alternative accommodation for the guest for tonight. If they decide to stay, I ask them to adopt a patient, polite and respectful attitude, including in their messages. The WhatsApp number is an emergency contact number; it is not a dedicated line for them. I therefore ask them to use it with moderation. Otherwise, I will be forced to ask them to leave. Thank you.)))))) - we were extremly surprised with the above message language ! And this is not a proper way nor polite to speak to hotel guests ! we did not speak to the staff in any wrong manner , and this language not acceptable !!

El desayuno esta muyy bien. Habitacion esta tambien genial. El personal muy amable y ayudando en todo lo que podian. El vibe del hotel tambien esta bien.

Si hay algo que ser critico por decir algo que esta un poco mas alejado de lo que una persona suele coger un hotel del old town en este caso plan 10-15min andando minimo, pero nada importante.

Beautiful design, eco friendly and strong social ethos. The room was massive and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast was superb and staff extremely helpful.

The walk to the old town was slightly longer than anticipated but perfectly doable.

Bari ni samo Bari Vecchia – duša mesta živi tudi v njegovih dolgih, nedokončanih in neskončnih ulicah, polnih lokalnega utripa in pisanih stavb, od katerih ima vsaka svoje očarljive balkone najrazličnejših oblik in velikosti. Bliżnja ulica Via Alessandro Manzoni s številnimi cenovno ugodnimi lokalnimi trgovinami vas pripelje naravnost do prijetnega in živahnega trga Piazza Garibaldi. To je zbirališče domačinov vseh generacij, ki posedajo na klopeh in igrajo karte. Lahko pa se po ulici Via Principe Amedeo sprehodite do lokalne kavarne Mozart Caffè na espressino freddo. V hotelu smo imeli čast spoznati prijaznega in karizmatičnega Antonia Ottomanellija ter se z njim pogovarjati. The individuality, environmental considerations, style, cleanliness and consideration of wider issues.

Lots of greenery and plants around the lobby. I loved that they had a cafe. Loved the espresso machine in room and all the windows/glass door for natural light with adequate blinds at night to block lights. Space was very clean and bright and open. Air conditioner in both rooms. Food water pressure in the shower. I like that they had a normal hair dryer that I could use wherever I wanted. It wasn’t just attached to the wall!

Air conditioner didn’t go to a very low setting, We couldn’t set it at what we would have preferred. We were not to warm tho, it was fine. Long walk to old town.

Accueil très chaleureux et très bonne ambiance générale, les chambres sont modernes et grandes, le bistrot avec sa terrasse au pied de l'hôtel est très sympa. J'ai aussi aimé la terrasse sur le toit avec plein de plantes et les ruches !

Nous avions une suite avec deux chambres. La première dans la pièce avec la porte d’entrée. Les conversations dans le couloir ont pu gêner en terme de bruits.

I dont like the political statement on the reception. Everybody has the right to think whatever she/he wants when its adequate. In the hospitality sector I think its rude, arrogant to force your political view on your guest. I dont think this statement is adequate in a hotel. Specially when this theme is not advertised on booking.com profile that could enable guests to choose based on this info as well. Why? You dont dare to?

We booked the Junior Suite as we were three adults, and it was the perfect choice. The room was modern, exceptionally spacious, and very comfortable. One feature that really impressed us was that, because of the room's size, it had two air conditioners facing opposite directions. This kept the entire suite cool and comfortable at all times The breakfast was delicious, offering a great selection of fresh and tasty options. The hotel's location was also ideal—close enough to easily walk to Bari Vecchia, yet situated in a quieter area, providing a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Lage des Zimmers im Hotel nicht optimal. Blick auf einen Hinterhof, kein Balkon. Würde bei einen nächsten Auenthalt ein anderes Zimmer wählen.

It was a quirky place - the staff were friendly. The room was a great big airy room and the bed was very big but every time you turned over it was incredibly noisy - they need to change the bed base . The mattress was fine. The en suite was good. It was about a 10 minute walk into town - so away from the noise of the centre. We liked it - apart from the bed.

The bed . Also we got the impression that there were parking facilities on the premises- there were , but they weren’t available to the public and seemed to be used for storage . They did provide access to a manned garage - about a 5 minute walk away - which was good - but not ‘on the doorstep’.

This not really a criticism of the property but it was further away from Bari Vecchia than I had estimated. So a bit more of a walk for us old ‘uns than I had anticipated.

Diseño y práctico el check in

Positiv zu erwähnen ist die Lage, der schöne Sitzbereich innen und außen und das hilfsbereite Personal!

Wir hatten das Zimmer 17 und es gab nur komplett mit Sichtschutzfolien beklebte Fenster ohne jegliche Aussicht und es war auch tagsüber relativ dunkel im Zimmer! Das Bett war laut und man weckte den Partner bei jeder Bewegung auf! Den nachhaltigen Gedanken im Hotel unterstütze ich gerne, aber hier handelt es sich definitiv um keine 4 Sterne und somit finde ich den bezahlten Preis sehr übertrieben und würde mir hier mindestens 30 % Rückerstattung erwarten! Das Frühstück besteht aus qualitativ sehr guten Zutaten, ist aber in der Auswahl sehr spärlich und keine 4 Sterne tauglich bzw diesem Preis gerecht! Das Zimmer und das Frühstück sind zu diesem Preis eindeutig verbesserungswürdig!

Good location, very clean, easy to access. The breakfast presentation and food was nice. The staff was lovely. The parking garage was literally a block away and very convenient. There was even a place to pull the car up to right in front of the hotel for ease of luggage drop off.

The only thing I can really think of is they should have some more toiletries. I know it's in an environmentally friendly establishment, but a few more toiletries would've been nice.

We had an excellent time in Bari at the Imago Plus Hotel. The team was very friendly, at any time more than helpful and our room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great ans the hotel is close to the city center. We're already looking forward to come back.

Location was excellent

Room was very large, but the shower was so small I only just fit in. They only gave a soap "tablet" for the shower. The included breakfast was terrible. A few slices of toast, fruit and undrinkable coffee. The reception person was very "cold" and rude. It seemed we always "bothered" him when we asked anything.

Lage und Parkmöglichkeit in einem Parkhaus in der Nähe waren gut. Das Personal war freundlich und Die Junior suite war groß und gut ausgestattet.

Bett war recht geräuschintensiv und leider nicht sehr bequem.

Emplacement loin du centre, personnel peu aimable à l’accueil. Demandé de nous commander un taxi pour un vol tôt le matin et le taxi n’est jamais arrivé. Chambres +/- propres. Trouvé un insecte mort par terre et de la moisissure à quelques endroits. Frigo ne fonctionnait pas et nous avons eu des problèmes avec l’AC. Tous les équipements sont de basse qualité, et le savon & shampoing solides fonctionnent très mal, pas réussi à prendre une bonne douche. Définitivement trop cher pour ce que c’est.. je ne recommende pas.

This is a gorgeous hotel. Don’t miss it! We stayed there on two occasions and each time had a fabulous room. Everything is spotlessly clean, the staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. We had breakfast outside each morning which was delicious and beautifully presented. There are some beautiful quirky objects, a library of books and a very pretty roof terrace. They serve organic food, wine and coffee. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special.

Betten, Matratze auf Holzpodest, Fenster zum schmalen Innenhof mit Baugerüst davor( aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht ratsam zu öffnen während der Nacht(Einbruch). Habe schon extra ein besseres Zimmer gebucht - Hotel selber ist überbewertet( max. 3 Sterne Standard und höchstens eine 7 auf” booking”. Zimmer ist nicht von mir beanstandet worden, da nur 1 Nacht.

The bed linen was gorgeous! Crisp white cotton! The bed was so comfortable and the room was very spacious. Loved the prompt communication and advise as regards directions to the hotel. I'm a female solo traveller, so I appreciated this a lot.

I'm sound sensitive so the sound of the mini fridge in the room woke me up a lot throughout the night.

The fridge is in a wooden box. To make it more discreet I suppose. That same wooden box makes it difficult for the fridge to get cooled (the box is hot inside) and therefore the fridge is constantly on and audible if you decide to use it.
