Al Pescatore - B&B

We had one night stay on our way home. The location is easy to find and right on the edge of the old town so easy to explore. The room was clean and comfortable and we were given lots of information at check-in which was appreciated but not too common at our other stays in Puglia. The roof terrace has a decent view. Breakfast was nice. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was excellent.

Car parking could be a challenge I think. We were very fortunate to get a spot right by the accommodation, but it was very busy.

I liked the location. The apartment was in the city center, not far from restaurants.

I didn't like the price, it was too high. The room was quite high, the stairs were narrow.

Difficult without lift but we were very thankful we were on the first floor, so only 14 stairs!

Super locatie, fantastisch ontbijt! De kamer was niet erg groot maar perfect voor 2 dagen Bari. Heel proper ook.

The staff were super helpful. Even helped me resolve a warning light on my rental car! I liked the communal breakfast table. Some might not. Great location.

AC was a little weak. Room 1 got a little noisy when breakfast started. Parking is tight but you can drive up to the front door to offload luggage. Laundry service was super expensive but expertly done. No elevator so mobility impaired want rooms 1 or 2. Adjacent restaurant was overpriced and had poor service despite having high ratings.

Staff was warm and very helpful!

Clean facilities, helpful host and very well located on the edge of Bari’s Old Town. We arrived prior to check in to rooms that were ready, had help arranging a ride to the airport to catch a very early flight and were given a “breakfast bag” to eat at the airport.

The location was fabulous for access to the old city and the Adriatic. The room was perfect-- simple but well designed with everything we needed. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Best of all was the service provided by Martino, the manager, who reached out to us before our arrival and catered to us throughout our stay. We also enjoyed our conversations with other guests at our communal breakfast table. Our refrigerator was nicely stocked with waters and even juices-- a pleasant surprise!

B&B Al Pescatore was a great place to “land” upon our arrival into Italy. Minutes from the harbour, adjacent to the Castle, in the Bari Vecchia …. A perfect location. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious, our double room was not large, but was immaculately clean, and sound proof with good beds. We were very happy with our stay there, and would recommend it. We had dinner at the Al Pescatore restaurant… absolutely delicious food with great service.

Martino was an amazing host. They provided probably one of the best breakfasts I have had anywhere. The food quality and assortment were fantastic. Plus, he is very talented with the espresso maker. The room, location, the value, and overall feel were well above our expectations and highly enjoyable. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you, Martino

Gute Lage zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Großer Parkplatz kostenlos direkt vor dem Hotel. Alles sehr sauber. Super Bett. Freundliches Personal. Typisch italienisches Frühstück.

Da historisches Gebäude kein Aufzug. Wir mussten unser Gepäck selbst ohne Hilfe in den 3. Stock schleppen. Deshalb finden wir den geforderten Preis zu hoch.

The stairs aren’t very wide or spacious, so it can be a bit tricky with larger luggage.

This place was very clean and well kept. Great communication and very close to the airport.

The only thing that the wives mentioned was they couldn’t find any blankets for the bed. We didn’t message the host as it was later when we realized it. This was a minor issue but that was it.

Location is very convenient to explore narrow streets of old Bari.

L'acceuil était exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de table d'hôtes nous a beaucoup plu. Proche du centre historique.

Perfect location if you are arriving by car as it is right on the border and steps away from the old city so you can easily drop off bags and then go park. New, clean room, very friendly staff, and perfectly located for exploring Bari. We had a great stay.

Martino was a great host with great knowledge of area and amazing breakfast every morning. We were able to store our bags there until our room was ready due to a early arrival in Bari. Location is great right in the old town close to most attractions. Would highly recommend.

The host was impeccable and very helpful, he provided us with the best spots of Bari and a printed map for convenience. While we didn't get to stay for breakfast he was kind enough to put together a goodie bag to go for our train ride! The location is spectacular right in the old town of Bari near a phenomenal Gelato shop. The rooms themselves were very clean and spacious, with a wonderful patio up at the top of the B&B.

Honestly, nothing. After our stays in Napoli and Rome, this was hands down the best B&B we experienced in Italy.

Very clean and modern facilities. Receptionist was lovely and spoke great English. Fantastic location. Comfortable and presentable room. Awesome breakfast spread.

Very loud at nighttime. Could hear everything that was going on outside. The soft pillow was very uncomfortable and shower had no pressure at all.

Ideale locatie aan de rand van de oude stad en vlakbij de zee. Het is er erg rustig en als je de drukte wil opzoeken hoef je niet ver te gaan. Zeer gevarieerd ontbijt voor elk wat wils: zowel zoet als hartig en ook vers fruit aanwezig. De gastheer is super vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Ideale verblijfplaats!!

Déjeuner pour emporter le lendemain matin qui n’était pas au frigo (sandwichs au jambon). Aucune aide pour les bagages à l’arrivée malgré les étages.

Posto eccellente, vicino al centro e ai parcheggi subito fuori le mura. Stanza eccellente, bagno eccezionale, ottimo letto.

Che non fosse compresa la colazione, ma ci è stato offerto un caffè tra i saluti del check-out.

Logement très proche du centre historique Nous sommes partis très tôt le dernier matin et nous avons eu le droit à un petit déjeuner préparé à l’avance. Rien pour nous.

Tout est absolument parfait! Emplacement idéal pour visiter la vieille ville ( à 2 pas) Nous avons même trouvé une place de stationnement dans la rue ( zone bleue, 1€ de l'heure , gratuit la nuit) Logement très propre, literie impeccable, petit déjeuner copieux , produits frais, servi en centre de table. Martino est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Foncez !

מרטינו היה נפלא, שידרג אותנו לחדר עם מרפסת קטנה וכיפת לישבה בערב. העלה את 2 הטרולים לחדר. הסביר לפרטי פרטים ועשה הכל להנעים את שהותינו. המיקום נפלא!

אין מעלית. החדר קטן במיוחד, אין מקום לפתוח את הטרולים. אין מתלים למגבות לאחר שימוש.

Sehr nettes kleines B & B direkt am Eingang zur Altstadt. Besichtigung der Altstadt daher wunderbar zu Fuß möglich und empfehlenswert. Gutes Frühstück an einem großen gemeinsamen Tisch, liebevoll arrangiert. Parken leider nicht vor dem Haus möglich, aber preiswerte Garage in ca. 400m Entfernung.

Great B&B Great room with all amenities you need. The location is right opposite the castle on the edge of the historic centre and very easy to reach. Martino was fantastic and nothing was too much. He put in an amazing spread for breakfast every morning with a selection of cheese (either delicious burrata or ricotta) freshly baked cakes, local seasonal fruits and lovely coffee!

Very comfortable accommodation on the edge of the historic center. Pleasant breakfast. All very clean and well maintained. Effective host communication. Parking with a bit of luck within reach (paid in the blue zone).

Tudo! Quarto confortável, cafe da manha delicioso, localização perfeita para o centro da cidade, e ao mesmo tempo com estacionamento na frente. O staff super atencioso.

A única coisa a melhorar é chuveiro, um pouco complexo para utilizar e agua não é muito forte. Também não tem elevador, são 3 andares com escada, mas isso não foi um problema para nós.

La persona que nos recibió fue encantadora, atenta y hablaba español. La habitación cumple perfectamente su cometido, es agradable y cómoda. El desayuno está riquísimo y es muy completo, los dulces son maravillosos y la zona común donde se desayuna es bastante curiosa en el buen sentido.

Faltaba ascensor, pero el anfitrión se encarga de subir las maletas.

Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer hätte helfen können, ist jedoch so angebracht, dass man in permanentem Zug schlafen müsste, was gür uns unmöglich ist! Vielleicht sind die Räume im 1. und 2. Stock besser!?! Dadurch schliefen wir leider recht schlecht
