The hotel's location is fantastic. The view from the elevated pool is especially stunning. It offers magnificent views of the sea and surrounding area. It has a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Unfortunately, we encountered a number of problems: 1. Tobacco smoke in the room! We don't smoke and have a severe allergy to tobacco smoke! Problem: The ventilation system was bringing a strong smell of tobacco smoke into the room. At first, the hotel manager, instead of fixing the problem, blamed me for smoking, but after the hotel engineer inspected the space above the ceiling, it turned out the smell was coming from the ventilation system. The hotel did NOT fix the problem, but only partially covered the ventilation with a bag! The smell of tobacco smoke was constant! They couldn't change my room. 2. The air conditioning system wasn't working. The ENTIRE air conditioning system in the room would periodically shut off. Only calling a repairman solved the problem (3 times for a week). 3. The hinges on the bathroom door were broken. The repairman arrived without any experience using tools. I had to fix it myself. 4. The "Guest Service" staff badly speak English - they periodically hung up on us, unable to answer the simplest request for example "bring water to the room."

It is a beautiful hotel but the standard and quality of the food was very poor which lets the rest of the hotel down.

The food

L'hôtel est magnifique, le lieu est magique mais le service est catastrophique au niveau de la restauration et au PDJ, d'où notre déception pour un hôtel à ce prix. Surtout évitez le diner dans le restaurant à la carte, cela ne vaut absolument pas le déplacement. Pour le PDJ, si vous ne souhaitez pas vous déplacer (en voiture) dès le matin au réveil vous n'aurez pas d'autre choix que celui de l'hôtel que nous avons trouvé assez médiocre.

La restauration et globalement le service qui nous parait être assez peu professionnel. c'est vraiment dommage, car le lieu mériterait un petit investissement dans ces 2 domaines très lacunaires!

Amazing views, spacious rooms, brilliant buggy service. Nice and quiet. Shuttle service to town in morning and evening, as well as water taxi service. Private pool in junior suite was a dream. Taxis from the rank in town were only 300TL (£5) each way.

À la carte restaurant very quiet in evenings and right at the bottom of the hotel by the beach club where the atmosphere is lacking at night. Went out every night apart from our first night, positive is food was really nice. If you like walking on holiday, then this isn’t the resort for you because the hills are too steep however the shuttle service and water taxi service means you can still easily get into town without feeling isolated.

Lovely team however the service was a bit hit and miss in the hotel. Also the property is a little out of the main town and so limited for places to eat and drink without heading back to town which does require a taxi ride.

Excellent breakfast buffet eaten outside, do dispute an earlier review, omelette was perfect, staff very attentive, room is fantastic wonderful view, really pleased, very clean.

Frühstücksangebot sehr gut Abends gibt es ein Restaruant, falls man nicht in die Stadt gehen möchte. Die Speisen dort sind sehr gut und qualitativ hochwertig. Würde jederzeit erneut kommen!

Not always a fantastic choice of food

My partner and I had a wonderful stay recently at Lures. The penthouse suite was really luxurious with great views and a lot of space. Views were amazing. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and look after you very well. If you don’t want to climb all the steps they’ll happily take you in the buggy ! The beach club is the best I’ve been to in kalkan. Great service to your sunbeds. Comfortable beds on the front for hotel guests. Great steps down into the sea - no need to worry about getting back out ! I really enjoyed the hotel guest pool and this area. Quiet and relaxing with spectacular views of Kalamar bay. Serhat served us at the pool bar and he could not be more helpful and professional. We enjoyed the bar menu in the day and the room service in the evening. The breakfast includes fresh fruit vegetables and salad, which is always fresh and tasty in turkey. You can order freshly prepared eggs and my favourite was any type of omelette. Coffee was decent. I can’t fault the service at breakfast or on reception. I also went to the gym and used the indoor pool - both of which were perfect for a hotel stay. Finally I had a great Hammam and massage by a lovely lady (sorry I don’t know her name ) and would highly recommend. I have had many Turkish baths in the past and this was probably one of the best. Do try it. We went to test and recharge our batteries and it certainly worked. Thank you Lures. ❤️

Absolutely beautiful location. Nice, huge rooms. Perfect staff. Breakfast, internet, everything was just perfect.

I only had problem with hot/cold water in the shower. It was either lava mode or ice cold. Very difficult to catch the middle.

Our outdoor jacuzzi balcony room gave excellent views of the bay. Room spacious and stylish in neutral colours. Room had two rain showers. Breakfasts were enjoyed on an attractive terrace. Food selection & quality was buffet led & good rather than exceptional. Valet parking on arrival good.

Jacuzzi bath had no hot water on first night but was fixed the next day. Observations, not complaints, is that the walk up to rooms with the best views is steep & may require buggy for the older guests or infirm for which really the hotel is not suitable, but also will be needed for the much younger in high summer heat if overindulging in the bars. In the day the property was too quiet although nice at breakfast. But this is a reflection only of our end of April visit. June may strike a great balance as the bar areas & sun bed decks are attractive. Al a carte restaurant is reassuringly expensive.

We are still enjoying this wonderful hotel although time is now running down. Lovely to see Serhat at the beach club today he has been amazing throughout our stay…. as have many of the wonderful team.

We had a great day at the Lures Beach Club. The food and drinks were good and the staff very attentive.

The hotel environment is excellent, the scenery is very beautiful, and the service is very good. The hotel's dinner is delicious. There are two ways to travel, by car or by boat. I highly recommend it to everyone.

On the whole the staff were very good but not enough spoke English which caused delays and confusion with service.

Очень странно, что кто-то жаловался на завтрак. Завтраки отличные. Повара с золотыми руками и очегь щедрые. Нас в последний день ( день закрытия отеля) кормили так, что завтрак на двоих уместился только на 3 столах. И официантка нас подбадривала " Eat, eat!". Вообщем, это отель мечты. Рекомендуем от всей души. Никого не слушайте с негативом, слушайте только меня! Я человек бывалый, отелей повидавшая по всему миру, это высококлассный отель.

The location and views are beautiful, and the sunbeds along with the beach club are cozy and comfortable. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful — they did everything they could. One of them even lent me a snorkeling mask and gave us a backgammon set to take with us. Breakfast was tasty and generous.

The beach club is open to the public, so it could get quite loud at times. The buggy back to the rooms on the hill often took a long time to arrive. Food options were limited, dishes were sometimes overcooked, and the prices were relatively high. Lunch and dinner were noticeably missing, as the hotel only provides breakfast.

Все прекрасно! Очень красивые, уютные и стильные номера! Есть все необходимое, из номера вообще не хочется выходить ❤️ персонал очень приятный, делает все возможное для клиентов. Отличный бич-клаб, зона с бассейном, хороший небольшой спорт-зал, Спа-зона (замечательная девушка массажист очень хорошо промяла). Спасибо вам большое!

Еда не очень вкусная и разнообразная, но это нормально в этом регионе. С едой сложно. Зато ресторан хороший открывается вечером, кухня очень приятная.

Excellent views from the hotel and spotlessly clean. Lots of choices at breakfast although sometimes the hot option got muddled. Beautiful room.

The staff are lovely but most of them struggle with English which makes it hard to communicate sometimes! The gym was also poorly furnished with only a few weights machines and 1 treadmill.

Lures is in a beautiful setting and very relaxing. We stayed in a villa - it was so spacious and nicely furnished with great outside space. Nice touches as well like arrival fruit/wine and coffee pods replaced each day. Convenient transport options into Kalkan town (water taxi all day or a shuttle bus twice a day) - or about 30 mins (hilly!) walk. All the staff were very kind and helpful, including giving us a late check out by a couple of hours which was great for a late flight. Breakfast was also good - coffees and eggs to order and then a hot and cold buffet. We were there at the end of season so didn’t use the beach club too much as it was fairly quiet and the outside space in our room was spacious but for hotel guests there is a reserved area right by the sea which was a nice perk. Also used the gym a couple of times which has a decent selection of equipment and comes with views across the infinity pool and the bay.

Only a minor thing - the villa has a kitchenette (hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer) but no crockery/cookware which we found a bit strange. However when we asked for some things to use they noted a list of what we wanted and brought straight to our room.

Arrived late at night, well lit and welcoming reception area, seamless check in and a short buggy ride to the room. Large, immaculate cleanliness and well appointed with a huge comfy bed. Our pre-ordered food was waiting for us, beautifully presented. In the morning the breakfast was plentiful and with ample choice. Staff generally hard working and attentive (with the odd smartphone distraction). We only used the on site a-la-carte restaurant one evening, the food was decent quality, but we found the atmosphere soul less so ate elsewhere for lunch and dinner. The beach club was well appointed and provides a great place for relaxation and sea swimming. The pools are good sizes, but would benefit from a heat pump to regulate the temperature.....they were on the cool side. There is a daily free luxurious minibus transfer to town at 10am and 7pm, with a free water taxi (in suitable weather) operating all day. The spa facilities are excellent with hard working staff, a decent gym and some good packages. We had a late transfer on the last day and staff helped with a late checkout. We will not hesitate to come back here.

Breakfast buffet was great and the view from the open air breakfast location was amazing. Location great and the double rooms overlooking the sea were simply outstanding. Sunbeds comfortable and the service was really good at the beach club. Bothe pools were beautiful with amazing views.

Coffee wasn't the best and the speed of service at breakfast was a little slow..

TERRIBLE STAFF ALMOST ALL HAD EITHER NO CLUE OR DIDN'T GIVE A TOSS. GENERAL MANAGER WAS COMPLETELY USELESS. I booked this hotel based on the excellent reviews and to be honest I think most of the good reviews must come from the Beach Club rather than the hotel experience. Whilst the hotel clearly garners its 4 star rating from the rooms which are lovely the rest of the place leaves a lot to be desired. The pools are NOT heated and are absolutely freezing, we went 30th Sept-10th October. There was only the sea warm enough to swim in. My biggest gripe however is the staff. With few exception they were all APPALLING. If they had had name tags on I would love to have called some out in particular the General Manager. You will know who you are and you are absolutely terrible at your job. All the staff care more about what's on their mobile phone than actually doing their job. The manager being one of the worst offenders! . He spent most of his time loitering around staring at his phone or sitting eating his breakfast at the same time as the guests. Bar staff didn't know how to make drinks, ignored you whilst staring at their phones, smoked whilst serving, canoodled with girlfriend .. the list goes on and on. Breakfast was a shambles. The selection was poor. If you got what you asked for it was a miracle, that is if you were even asked. Ask for a coffee, get a tea. Ask for an omelette don't get it at all. It became quite entertaining to us to see what we would actually get from what we had asked for. We had some bad weather whilst there and we had a jacuzzi room at the top of the hotel - it LEAKED LIKE A SIEVE. The floor in the room was very dangerous because there was so much water lying on the tiled floor which was pouring in from the windows. I called reception for towels to mop up but guess what? They never came. Now don't get me started on house keeping! Out of the 10 nights we were there we only got a shower matt 3 of the days so we had to use a hand towel so we did not break a neck. We went to bed the first night and found there was nothing there other than pillows. Luckily I had spotted a duvet in the wardrobe when unpacking so dug it out and made the bed myself! After that there was no effort to put cushions on the bed they were just left on the floor. There was a big sticky stain by the kettle area when we moved in and the floor was never moped or brushed. The lounge area was never cleaned not even the cushions on the sofa arranged. Quite a few other guests complaining about all of the same things. Come on Lures you don't charge cheap prices so up your game. You have a lovely asset but are so being let down by your choice of staff.

The property is stunning: wonderful views, beautifully furnished room, everything is clean and new.

The only things to concern about are poor and unprofessional service of the reception and BED BUGS! I’ve spent 3 nights at the hotel and every morning I woke up I had awful bites on my body that got worse and worse. I spoke with two reception managers about it. The first one said: “Oh, that looks very bad, but what do you want from us?”. The second manager said: “Maybe you had this bites when you went out to town,and I won’t apologise because that would mean I admit we have this problem.” Very strange reaction from a luxurious hotel’s managers. Very disappointing. Also the breakfast was like in a 3* hotel.

great day, very luxurious. highly recommend this against other beach clubs, it is a bit of a hidden gem. just be prepared to spend the minimum spend but if you have lunch then no problem!

Not staying at hotel so this is just a review of beach club which we attended for 1 day. Positive points - steps into sea easier than other places, newer environment and food of good standard. Negative points - customer service from staff really very poor and overall made experience poor - staff slow to take orders, ignored orders and very slow to respond to sun lounger button (could be tech or staff failing here), failed to clear empty glasses, cups etc from loungers, even after taking new orders (we made quite a collection by end of day), one girl yawned regularly when taking my order then forgot our order so had to repeat several times. At cafe service bit better, but all staff pretty grumpy, junior and demotivated. (in one case a waiter actually got a bit keen clearing plates before half table finished) . Payment to reserve beds required advance payment, so slightly off putting but was ok if service had been top notch. Sun loungers comfy but metal frames - so hotter than sun if needed to adjust headrest/touched metal frame by mistake. Overall vibe and customer service was not great so went to several other places instead- zest overall best. Probably wouldn’t book at hotel as result next year.

We booked a private cabana at Lures and were delighted that we did. A very reasonable cabana hire charge and then a per person 1500TL charge which was actually not a charge but a minimum spend - so a credit towards food and drink; really good value. Loved the cabana, its gorgeous deck, its privacy, easy direct access into the sea and the amazing views! Service was friendly and our drinks (coffee, cocktails and wines) were good, brought quickly and served with a smile. We could have eaten lunch at the cabana but chose to dine at the lovely beach club restaurant. Really enjoyed it. We also made use of the lovely beach club pool at Lures and our day flew past all to quickly. Didn’t want to leave!

This place is the best beach club in Kalkan, it really is 5* from the very comfortable sunbeds to the infinity pool. Waiter service is provided - all you need to do is press a buzzer and a waiter takes your order without you needing to move from your sunbed You pay 2700tl per person, this is then used against drink and food (which isn’t expensive so you don’t feel like you are being ripped off) - we were encouraged to spend up so took cans of coke and water with us!(no refunds are given )! We originally went to the very popular beach club Z**t - they take a service charge of 10%on everything including your entry fee! The drinks are also more expensive than Lures. We spent more at Z without food than we did at Lures Bring on next year can’t wait to go back!

I had such a fantastic experience Lures beach club! The atmosphere was relaxing yet vibrant, with stunning views that made the perfect backdrop for the day. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was top quality. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was handled with a smile. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy great food, excellent service, and a gorgeous beach setting, this is definitely the spot. I can’t wait to come back!

The beach club is part of Lures hotel. We were very well treated and have been there more than once. There is a charge to use the Beach Club but this is offset against any food and drinks purchased so it is good value for money. We would highly recommend!

The loungers are so comfortable, the water unbelievably clear, and the food light yet filling. Melike was wonderful, always checking in with such genuine care. Couldn’t have asked for a better end to our trip.

Just wow! The most beautiful setting with super comfy beds and stunning views over the ocean! It was so clean everywhere and all the staff were so happy and helpful! Considering you have to pay for most beach clubs just for a bed, this is such a good deal as it’s 1500 lira per person but that can be spent on food and drink throughout the day. The prices are very reasonable and waiter service to your sunbed. The food was all delicious and to a high standard…we went back for a second time during our trip as we were so impressed and once again didn’t disappoint! Definitely with a visit during your trip to Kalkan….10 out of 10 from me!

We came with our two children for a day at Lures Beach Club and it was absolutely perfect. The kids loved swimming in the calm, clear sea while we relaxed on the loungers with cocktails. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, and Melike was so kind in making sure our family had everything we needed. It felt effortless, relaxing, and luxurious all at once.

Loved this beach club. Fantastic setting, so clean..Sea not too cold. Beds comfy. Umbrellas have call bells to order food/drink service. Restaurant - delicious food and service was 10/10. We’re here now on a spontaneous mother–daughter getaway, and the Lurus Hotel & Beach Club has exceeded every expectation. From the moment we booked directly, communication was seamless — always prompt, friendly, and helpful. The hotel arranged our transfer from Dalaman: a spotless, chauffeur-style vehicle with chilled water, ambient lighting, and a scenic, comfortable drive that set the tone perfectly. Our “room” is more like a beautifully designed 60 sqm suite — two bathrooms, huge bed with the most comfortable pillows imaginable, floor-to-ceiling sea views, and a spacious terrace. Everything is top-quality and immaculately clean. The welcome was warm, discreet, and efficient, with fresh pomegranate juice on arrival, and service has been consistently gracious, elegant, and genuinely local in feel. The beach club is spectacular: sunbathing platforms over crystal-clear water, safe steps into the sea, and an attentive team who respond instantly to the push of a button. The food here is a revelation — fresh, local Turkish produce, from cheeses, olives, and honey to beautiful salads, seafood, and exceptional cocktails. Breakfast is a leisurely feast overlooking the sea and mountains, served until 11 am, with no rush and plenty of local specialities alongside international options. The infinity pool is vast, serene, and sparkling, with everyone respectful and quiet. The gym is well-equipped, spacious, and spotless. Complimentary shuttles into Kalkan in the evenings make exploring effortless. Everywhere, the attention to detail and cleanliness are faultless. Lurus is only in its third year, but it already delivers the perfect blend of five-star luxury, authentic charm, and peaceful sophistication. We can’t recommend it highly enough — and we still have days left to enjoy.

Lures Beach Club is everything we were looking for as a couple: super-b sun loungers, classy decor, crystal clear water, and a menu that actually delivers. We loved how spacious it felt. Big shoutout to Melike, who somehow manages to make every guest feel like they matter — a true professional with a warm touch.

A lovely beach club. A 20 minute water taxi takes you to & from Lures (for free) which is a nice start to the day. You can book in advance (advisable if you want seafront beds). The sea & view is amazing; food really good and service also pretty good. I would say a rival beach club (Zest) has more experienced and attentive staff and if Lures could up their service just slightly then they'd get 5 stars. Although all beach clubs in Kalkan are pretty expensive if you decide to have a few drinks (we were a party of 6, so £15 for a cocktail adds up pretty quickly!), what I liked about Lures is that you pay an upfront £30/head (on arrival) to cover your sunbed, food and drink etc. and then that is taken off the bill at the end - i.e. they don't charge for the sunbeds as long as you spend £30/head. Feels very luxurious and a lovely day out. They have a DJ on a Saturday which ends at 7pm (just FYI the free boat taxi clocks off at 7pm) which was nice to experience towards the end of the day.

We loved Lures. The service was friendly and efficient, location great, pool lovely. Steps into the sea were well designed and easy. We got a lovely table easily for lunch. Nothing to not like. And we felt it was extremely reasonable price wise. I have always been a Mahal regular but this definitely has the edge for food quality, service and value.

We had a lovely day at Lures Beach Club. The service was fantastic, all the staff so friendly and helpful. The lunch was also really impressive - the Lures sandwich especially! We didn’t sample the cocktails but they looked great too. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend this beach club

This is a relatively sophisticated beach club that opened a couple of years ago. We found it good value for money as its flat fee for entry meant that it covered 2 light lunches and a couple of lattes. We liked the contemporary music played that created a good vibe, but it might not be to everyone’s taste

The breakfast was good although a bit limited choice wise with only eggs on the menu and the buffet had only small plates of fruit, pastries, bread and the usual continental cheeses etc but there was enough to eat generally. A shuttle bus service takes you into the main Kalkan town / harbour in the evening (one way at 7pm ) which was a nice touch. We will definitely return. The only negatives were: - the gym which was very limited equipment wise and where the towels were not replenished (and which was super hot when you first went in it as the air con is turned off overnight); and - no courtesy rooms are offered to guests for late check out. You are only offered shower facilities at the spa but there is no air conditioning in the changing areas and no hairdryers, so this is not ideal. We did pay to keep our room, for which we were charged £150 for 6 hours - we were advised that the room was empty and not required for other guests for a couple of days. so thought it a bit mean of the hotel not to offer this free or at a lower price rate. We heard other guests say the same thing - the hotel could review / change their policy for late check outs where the hotel is not fully occupied

We were looking for something quieter than the main beach scene in Kalkan and we absolutely found it. Lures Beach Club is elegant, serene, and spotlessly clean. You can tell it’s managed with real care. Melike was a total gem, helping us book a return shuttle and everything. She’s what customer service should be.

The best decision we made was to spend our last day in Kalkan here. Stunning sea views, delicious food, and a vibe that just makes you want to take a deep breath and stay forever. Melike was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect before flying home.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. The ambiance was calm and elegant, not intrusive like in most beach clubs. The staff were courteous and professional, but it was Melike who truly stood out — attentive without being overbearing and always with a warm smile.

We came as a family with two kids and were amazed by how calm and well-managed the beach club is. It’s not overly crowded, and the sea is very gentle, so the kids could swim safely. The staff were very accommodating, and Melike even arranged extra shade for us without asking.

We’ve just returned from a beautiful week away and honestly, we can’t fault a thing — the hotel was absolutely stunning from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect A special shout out to Melike, who was amazing with booking our restaurant reservations and giving us great recommendations. Every place she suggested was a hit! We always ended up with the best tables and the most incredible views. She was so lovely and helpful throughout our stay! We spent most of our time at the infinity pool, which was a dream with Absolutely beautiful views! Emre looked after us so well he’s super friendly, always smiling, and makes excellent milkshake and cocktails! Another thoughtful touch was how quickly the staff got to know our names and room number it made everything feel more personal and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.
