Excellent room for the price, with a nice large balcony. Everything was extremely clean throughout the property and the staff truly couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend for any traveller who needs to be in this part of Cairo.

The wifi could use some improvement, but this is true of almost all hotels in Cairo.

I had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place. The location is excellent. It's right in the city center, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, and it's easy to get anywhere from here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you're looking for a great place to stay in a convenient location at a reasonable price, this is an excellent choice.

Given its inside the city. The honking of cars and motorcycles just keeps you awake sometimes especially during sleep. But the rest works well for me.

The breakfast is varied, fresh, and of high quality, making every morning a great start to the day. I would especially like to thank Ms. Farah for her outstanding hospitality and professionalism. She was incredibly kind, respectful, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. Her excellent attitude and dedication made my stay even more enjoyable. Spent five nights at midtown hotel.the price is affordable and reasonable.location is great,close to the old Egyptian museum and Nile river,you can use Uber to discover other tourist attractions. The facility is simple but useful,especially the AC is strong to cool you down during the hot summer in Cairo.

Mattresses are not the best

The hotel is located on the 5th floor of an old splendorous house, probably 100 years old and with beautiful vintage details like 4 m ceilings. The location is terrific, only few hundred meters from Talaat Harb and Tahrir squares. The room was like a presidential suite for 13 eur: big, nicely furnitures and with just minimal decent decoration, well kept, comfortable, very nice illumination, with AC, mini fridge, and clean. It had a 6-7 m2 balcony to an inner yard with view to a franciscan church nearby. The toilet was as nice. Friendly personnel to complete a great stay for an unbeatable price.

The staff was amazing, Farah, Mohamed and every single one was so welcoming, and so helpful. Their hospitality was so remarkable. The accomodation was so comfortable as well. New Midtown hotel will be always my favorite place to stay in Cairo.

Farah, Mohamed and every single one of the staff are so amazing people. They made the hotel as my own home. AC is on and functional any time you need, that made my stay in Cairo in the hot wave so comfortable and easy.

Farah e Max da recepção foram super educados e prestativos e Mahmoud selecionou os melhores passeios pra mim incluindo o transfer, sem a ajuda dele não conseguiria ter me locomovido e aproveitado o Cairo do jeito que eu aproveitei. Si l’immeuble n’est pas très accueillant comme souvent au Caire, l’hôtel situé sur tout un étage propose un bon rapport qualité prix. Les chambres sont propres, les lits confortables, le petit-déjeuner est copieux et le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et sympathique. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages la journée après le check-out et les récupérer tard le soir avant de repartir pour l’aéroport et nous avons pu prendre une douche avant de repartir, c’était très appréciable. Merci à l’équipe.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It felt clean and comfortable, which made a great impression on me. I especially liked the building itself — the high ceilings gave it a spacious and inspiring atmosphere. The bathroom was also very nice, with modern fixtures and a good shower. The hotel is modest yet cozy, which I personally appreciated a lot. I would also like to highlight the staff — they were very helpful and kind. They prepare simple but tasty breakfasts, which added to the overall positive experience.

Overall, I didn’t notice any significant downsides. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Excelente trato del personal, calidad, precio, limpieza. Me siento como en casa cada vez que voy a este hotel. Totalmente recomendable, en el centro de Cairo, cerca del transporte público, tiendas. Las noches son tranquilas sin tráfico en la calle, genial para un buen descanso.

Book this for a quiet location and good value room with balcony. The Staff were very helpful with all our requests and kind. Enjoyed breakfast on our balcony each morning. Huge room and cold fridge.

The mattress could be better and shower is small.

The building itself is a bit dated and could use some renovation, but the room was clean and perfectly adequate if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city and only stay a few hours to rest. The breakfast offered was savory only, but still good and satisfying. A special mention goes to Mahmoud, the owner, who is very helpful and always ready to make you feel comfortable. He also assists in organizing city tours and excursions based on your needs, which is a great added value. Overall, it offers a good value for money and is a practical choice for a short stay in Cairo

The location is downtown Cairo, next to everything. The hostel stuff where amazing. The room was clean. The breakfast included in the price was excellent.

It is a basic amenities hostel in an old building in down town Cairo. The rooms are ok but good do better with a minor renovation. Also expect some noice from the street.

L’edificio e le scale sono un po’ datati e non proprio igienici. Anche le camere molto datate , poco insonorizzate ed il bagno giusto essenziale ma manca di molti accorgimenti.

Väldigt trevlig personal, saknar man nåt så är det bara att fråga så fixar dem det. Vi behövde checka ut kvällen innan vi egentligen skulle göra det och fick en frulostpåse med oss. Väldigt härligt med en balkong att äta frukost på.

Kändes lite ostädat och det saknades lite grejer i rummet. Men som sagt när vi bad om det så fixade det snabbt.

This was our second time at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well kept, the breakfast was good and the location is great. The thing that makes this hotel better than others is the great staff! Thanks to Farah, Max and the others for making us feel welcome. Mahmoud was great to communicate with and was able to help us organize airport shuttles as well as tours. I would certainly use Mahmoud's services again, all of our trips went smoothly and the guides he hired were excellent.

Cat smell in the lounge area.

We made a booking here rather last minute for a group of 12 adults (6 rooms). The reviews that I read prior to booking were accurate. The staff here are wonderful and certainly made the stay that much better. The breakfast was good with eggs, bread, cheese and yoghurt, coffee and tea. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The location is great as well with restaurants and shops right across the street. The hotel also organized a day tour of Cairo, a day tour of Alexandria and a 4 day trip to Siwa for us as well as arranging our airport transfers. We had great guides on all the trips and felt well looked after. The hotel was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and always responded within a reasonable timeframe. I would like to thank Max, Farah, and the rest of the staff for making our trip to Cairo memorable. For the price, this hotel is a great option.

One day the elevator was not working and we had to take the stairs (hotel is on the 5th floor). This inconvenience was out of the hands of the hotel but the stairs were disgusting and could use a good cleaning - I am not sure whose responsibility it is as the rest of the building does not belong to the hotel.

This was the third time staying here. The hotel is good value for the money and in a good location. We booked three tours with the hotel and arranged airport shuttles with them as well. All were well organized and met our needs. The rooms with balconies are nice.

Das Personal war sehr nett. Die Lage war zentral und nah an vielen Orten.

Das Gebäude, in dem das Hotel liegt, war leider schmutzig und hat gestunken.

La posizione è davvero ottima, nel cuore del centro del Cairo! Questo ti permette di viverti la città e gli egiziani in modo molto local e poco turistico. Ci sono delle fermate metro nelle vicinanze, anche se noi non l’abbiamo mai utilizzata. Il personale è molto gentile e sempre disponibile a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente (una mattina siamo usciti prima dell’orario della colazione e così ce l’hanno preparata da portar via)!

Dal punto di vista igienico siamo un po’ al limite. Dopo un primo approccio con un palazzo fatiscente, si accede all’hotel che si presenta ordinato e pulito. Ma quando si presta attenzione ai dettagli, la struttura ha alcuni difetti igienici. Ma diciamo la verità.. se si vuole vedere Il Cairo con autenticità, questo fa parte del loro modo di vivere! Se siete schizzinosi, scegliete un hotel internazionale, perché altrove non sareste mai soddisfatti.

初海外旅行で初めて泊まった宿です。日本とのギャップを感じることもありましたが、部屋も綺麗で広々していてスタッフの方の接客も良く、旅の疲れを十分に癒すことができました。カイロの街を眺めながら食べる朝食はとても魅力的でした。

The property looked just the same way as the picture the ceilings were high, and there was also a balcony. The toilet and shower were quite small. But I think you can use it if you stay for few days. The breakfast was basic but overall was value for money. The room is not killing dairy, but the common areas of the hotels are. Staff is extremely sweet, very helpful, helped me with finding places for food.

If you wanna take a tour guide from this property, I will recommend against it. The guide they provided could not even speak English. Half of the words, he said doesn’t even make sense, so I will request you to find a tool guide by yourself..

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated in downtown Cairo with many nice restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are nice and clean and fairly quiet so you're able to get a good night of sleep here. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and kind and they go above and beyond to help you out if you have any problems. Overall, excellent value for money! Recommended.

Farah and Max are great staff members, they took very good care of us. Every morning, they left cute notes with our breakfast. The hotel is very centrally located, and the rooms are big and clean. For the price, I think it’s a great option.

I stayed for 5 nights, and I would have liked to have the room cleaned in between, but I never asked for it, so they probably would have cleaned it if I had.

The room was very clean, cozy, and modern, with an incredibly comfortable bed. The location is perfect - right in the city center. The staff were awesome: super friendly, very responsive, and communication was excellent. They arranged breakfast earlier than the scheduled time every day at my request, which I really appreciated.

It can be a bit noisy at times, but nothing critical.
