No towel rack. The curtain was difficult to keep in shower as it is hung too high.

Exactly as described. Clean, fairly spacious room. A lovely resturant albeit a little pricey located next door.

A little out dated decor

The location and ease of parking, proximity to towns, water, walking trails, restaurants. Staff were friendly. We stayed at 1 of the 2 self-catering apartment style rooms they have. I cannot comment on the hotel rooms.

No overhead lights, no kitchen lights, few wall outlets, built in charger/outlet that didn't work,..Uncomfortable beds, no door to the bedroom, The electric kettle was old and unusable(inside flaking) and was never replaced. Bare bones furniture, very minimal kitchen items. When we arrived it was evident the floors had not been cleaned. Could not turn off outside porch light(attracting lots of bugs if you wanted to sit outside)

Great location, clean rooms; a little dated- noisy air conditioning, bad coffee. The rooms were the most affordable in the area. If you spend your time at the beach, it is a great location.

Cons: - No towel bars or shelving in the bathroom - Bathroom electrical outlet was not functioning -Electrical outlet near the beds was badly worn; plugs would not stay securely in place and would either fall out or remain only partially inserted - Shower water pressure was extremely low - Wooden subfloor is somewhat noisy, and the thuds of people walking in adjacent rooms can be heard - No on-site breakfast or other food service - No ice machine

The were accommodating. Found our key in a lock pad since we got there late.

The beds were small.

The shower would not turn on and there was a lot of calcium built up around the shower head and clearly has not worked for a while. No water at all from the shower. Bathroom sink was also clogged and slow draining.

Great location - so nice to be able to drive up to the room - just what the family wanted to be able to enjoy the beach at Port Hood - and got fireworks as a bonus!

It was clean, comfortable, staff was very helpful. There was lovely seating outside each room.

We liked everything. This isn’t like 5 stars hotel by no mean but it’s very clean and the service it’s truly amazing. The staff is very friendly, helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay. I will definitely come back.

We stayed because of the location for an event we were attending.

The room was clean and basic . However the bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress probably quite old and so not comfortable. For the cost of the room one should expect to get a good sleep.

We had a family event close by...so it was convenient.....so we only slept there as we got in at midnight. the room was comfortable and desk clerk friendly.

We were tired...found about 5 Beatles type... bugs on sink walls and floor...big dandy long leg spider in bathroom, freaked the kids out a bit as they thought it was ticks...there was no hair dryer ..bummer...coffee cream was left out on top of fridge in a warm room and the coffee maker was not very clean, unacceptable for paying 245.00 for 9 hrs of sleep and showers

Very clean. Location is perfect. A walk to the beach and a Bustro located across the lawn. The bike trail is located nearby as well.

Be great if they had a place to sit on the lawn areas but that is just my opinion.

Very clean and convenient location right on the Cabot Trail

L’emplacement tout près d’une magnifique plage avec un coucher de soleil magnifique. Pratique pour une nuit de passage en terminant la Cabot Trail.

Équipement, mobilier très minimaliste. Seulement une table de chevet. Aucun crochet dans la salle de bain. Pas de bouilloire. J’ai un doute sur la qualité de l’eau à boire à cet endroit. Nous avons eu des nausées après avoir bu l’eau… Trop cher pour ce que nous avons eu.

The furniture was dated and rustic (old). The room was musty as well as the bedding. No value for the money $182.00 for 1 night. I expected more.

Beau petit motel tranquille avec un restaurant juste à côté (et un autre à distance de marche) et la commission de liqueur à quelques minutes en auto. Le propriétaire est sympathique. Propriété bien entretenu. Il y a un beau sentier de marché au bord de l’eau pas très loin. La boulangerie située à quelques minutes en auto offre des petits déjeuner complets à partir de 7h30.

Il n’y avait pas de petites serviettes…. Et l’insonorisation entre les chambres est perfectible, comme tous les motels d’ailleurs.

It was a great location on the Cabot trail

There were no pots and pans there was one fry pan It said there was kitchenware We had trouble getting enough cutlery to have a meal for two people. The furniture is worn out and disgusting The balustrade around the balcony is loose and I almost fell over. It was so unfortunate because it was so expensive and we were quite prepared to make meals there and were unable to because there was no cookware

Une seule chose ne fonctionnait pas bien dans notre chambre , la prise de courant pour le sèche cheveux de la salle de bain ne fonctionnait plus . L’autre prise de courant extérieur était quand même proche . Le prix versus que ce soit un motel , est élevé un peu , mais je comprends pour la région les endroits pour coucher sont rare et le motel était très bien entretenu . Très satisfait quand même Merci

The motel was conveniently located for a night’s stay at the end of the Cabot Trail.

This property, though at least not outright dirty, was odd and had poorly done upgrades. The window screens were torn, limiting the ability to open windows. The flooring transitions had screws or nails that were insufficiently driven and sticking up, creating an injury potential. Towel bars were oddly missing in the bathroom, though the wall cleats remained. The sink area was dirty. Bedding was passably clean, at least. There was a general odor of mustiness and unfreshness, likely due to many prior years of in-room smoking. For the price paid, it did not feel like a good value.

This place is a dump, worst place I have ever stayed at. Definitely would not stay at this property again. Dirty, room stinks, office is a pig pen, old and not taken care of, heater/air conditioner blow directly on a person while sleeping. Furniture old and disgusting.

View on the Home hardware instead of towards the water was disappointing. Needing to knock on private residence for keys was odd and felt like an intrusion.

The suite was great but should add a door between kitchen and bedrooms.

A big room and a big bathroom. The people there were really nice and helpful.

There could be moore light or at least on big light just in the middle of the room, but that's just my opinion.

The refrigerator was set too low and froze everything solid. I couldn't figure out how to set the temperature higher.

I didn't like anything because Booking.com screwed up the reservation and I ended up driving for another 4 hours trying to find a place on my own. Perhaps booking.com should be more careful with their bookings.

I didn't like that I arrived when I was supposed to just to find out booking.com screwed up and booked me at a full motel and wasted 4 hours of my time to try and find another motel by myself as you are obviously not keeping updated with your bookings.

Bathroom was great. V clean, big and good shower.

No carpet. Flooring made it feel very unwelcoming. Very thin walls - could hear everything from next door

The location was fantastic. One of our group stayed in one of the motel rooms and was very happy with the cleanliness, the bed and the shower. They had a good night's stay.

The remainder of the group, 5 of us, stayed in what was called a suite. The 2 double beds for 2 couple were in the same room, which was odd, and the pull-out bed should not have been sold for someone to sleep on as it was very uncomfortable - basically sleeping on springs. Although they knew 5 people would be sleeping in the suite, there were only 2 towels, 1 toilet roll and no pillows for the 5th person.

Das ganze wurde als Deluxe Suite angepriesen. Der Wasserköcher funktionierte nicht. Die Stehlampe konnte nur durch Ziehen des Steckers ausgeschaltet werden. Das Schlafsofa war durchgelegen, man konnte jede einzelne Feder spüren. Das Schlafzimmer war vom Wohnzimmer durch einen Türrahmen ohne Tür abgetrennt. Es gab nur einen großen Topf, um Wasser warm zu machen. Die Anrichte in der Küche war beschädigt.

It was adequate. The room was clean, the bed ok.

It was clean enough. The staff were friendly but didn’t know why the wifi wasn’t connecting. The location was ok.

The suite needs upgrading. It’s worn out. The baseboard heater in the bathroom was rusted and bent. Furniture is old and needs replacing or refinishing. The bathroom sink drain was disgusting. The towels needed replacing but were clean. Most of all - the lighting was so poor especially in the kitchen area. The wifi couldn’t be connected so we had to go to the office to get it going. The price was too high so poor value.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff were very pleasant. A quick stop over so mostly slept and left. Proximity to cafe was great.

View was the hardware store. But what can you do?

Very clean. Comfortable. Per friendly with nice walking areas. Staff was very responsive and accommodating to our late arrival.

Very minor but the shower wasn’t long enough and floor was getting wet.

Location for beach

Uncomfortable bed, pillows and blankets were not adequate for October weather. Only AC nonheated room. Overpriced for the motel experience. 154 per night ! The real value of this motel is 50-60 dollars per night. I won't book here again.
