从接站开始就很完美，每一个步骤都配合的巧妙，房间有点竹席的味道，但是可以接受，床品非常舒服，大海就不用说了，虽然有一点点遮挡（屋顶），但是用美好的心态去看，就只会看见美丽的大海！服务更是没的说，非常完美。感谢真美子（or真里子？）非常抱歉没有记清楚，热情的给我们介绍，最后一天没有见到她有点遗憾。

整体都非常满意，唯一的不解书记5楼整晚都能听到类似手机震动的声音，戴了耳塞也能听到。不知道是什么声音，有点影响睡眠。别的都非常非常好。

This is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed in my life. I have stayed at many ryokan before and this is a step above all of them. The only issue you may have is a more modern aesthetic vs a more "traditional" rustic one. The private onsen are INSANE, breathtaking. The meals, served in room, were some of the best food I have ever had in Japan and I have been going since 2009. The Hokkawa onsen area is picturesque and the oceanside drive is scenic and amazing. This is a top tier ryokan that has redefined my idea of how good things can get.

I cannot think of a single thing that would have made my experience better. Selfishly, I guess if the server spoke more English? The price is a bit high in a vacuum, but for what you are getting it is 100% fair.

The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, and the service was truly outstanding - Japanese hospitality at its finest. I visited with my mom, and having grown up in Tokyo and stayed at many ryokans over the years, this one easily ranks among the very best.

The view and the facilities

可以享受一次的免费私汤和另外收费的私汤，都有很好的海景，餐食也很不错。checkin后有英语不错的专人对接服务。

部分员工英语水平比较差，checkin的规程中有一些不必要的环节浪费了时间。

It was either very well maintained or newly renovated. The hall lounge was a full glass panel which allowed you to watch the beautiful skies and sea as the sunsets. On top of that, the ryokan was position at an angle where you get to see the bright moon cast its light and shadows into the water which was so pretty.

Everything was great, sadly my subsequent ryokan stay wasn’t as nice as the Bousui. It has definitely upped my standards.

Every step was very satisfying.

早餐很丰富，味道也很好，服务也很温馨。 酒店提供热川站的接送服务，但入住接驳仅限下午3点到7点，如果需要接驳要提前和酒店预约，其他时段只能自行前往。步行距离酒店最近的是北川站，大约10分钟脚程，需经过上下坡和楼梯。离店时需要接驳可以在check out的时候说一下，酒店工作人员很nice，接驳车班次也很多，一般等待几分钟就可以有接驳车了。酒店房间很不错，装修很新也很干净，早上房间看日出绝佳，温泉选择也很多，两个公共汤池，入住的房间还自带一次私汤体验，当然酒店外面还有很著名的黑根岩风吕，零距离面海泡汤的绝佳选择。

除了酒店前台，其他服务人员都不太能英语沟通，需准备好翻译软件。 另外，感觉除了前台外，在其他地方需要指引的时候比较难找到工作人员，比如我们走海边近路到达酒店后在酒店里寻找了很久才找到去前台的路（北川站沿海边小路可步行至酒店1楼，酒店前台在8楼），进入一楼后没有明确指示标识，也没有工作人员，直到找到电梯后才看到里面8楼lobby的标识。另外，我们当时提前咨询酒店，酒店表示无法提供行李寄存服务，稍许不便。

We had the best kaiseki dinner and breakfast. The scenery is breathtaking. The private bath is one of the best we ever had.

The customer service is good. But since this is in Japan, the hotel may want to improve the hospitality to meet Japan excellent standards. But we enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you for having us.

we paid over 13000yen for the private onsen, but it was a lot of bugs flowing on the water we didn’t want to get in but anyway we tried. Then we saw some black dirts in the water not just one the surface, we didn’t know what it was its just so disgusting so we run out. But the stuffs there are nice and the view of the ocean was nice.

The entire atmosphere in the hotel was so so great and relaxing! We’re lucky visit this hotel with a great weather, we enjoyed the sunshine , full moon night, and a super beautiful sunset from our room! We reserved and enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the room and also loved the free service in the lounge! People are nicely serviced and we almost forgot the time passing so fast to check out! No doubt to visit it again sooooooon.😁

The 45 mins private hot spring and it was super hard to book for a time slot.

The staff were rude and have no smile when we checked in. We cannot checked in early even we just wanted to leave our luggage with the front desk. We didn’t even care if the room is ready or not because we have to go out for the day. Therefore, by the time we came back to the property, we only had the evening or near checked out time spots available for the 45 mins private hot spring.

The hotel and private bath are good and we got a excellent breakfast.

The worst thing is I can't believe when I woke up I found someone standing besides me, IN MY ROOM! She asked me whether she can clean up the bed or not. That's terrible, I don't know how and why she came into my room when I was still sleeping! It takes so much time to arrive the hotel from Tokyo. When I arrived the hotel the reception told me I can't have dinner in hotel anymore because the restaurant in hotel is full. It was 1630 and there were only one restaurant near around the hotel. I have to go to that restaurant without any choice. Worst experience of this whole trip!

I love the food but we were hoping there was also an option for other menu like meat, our friends who went with us are big on meat so the breakfast and dinner menu which were fish based was a bit discouraging for them.

The private onsen rooms were great. Both dinner and breakfast are amazing.

We weren't informed of the bus service or the best way to the hotel so we had to walk a dangerous road from the train station. The primary staff who served us meals was not very friendly, barely giving us any helpful instructions on how to wear yukata, what the dishes are, how to enjoy them best, etc.

Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work! The hotel is situated on the sea, with an uninterrupted view, a great experience.From check-in, to the onsen, and Japanese breakfast and dinner, plus afternoon tea, we truly experienced traditional Japanese service and enjoyed it very much. From the pick up at the train station to the final drop off at the train station, the two nights and three days were the highlight of our two week trip to Japan. In particular, the lady who brought the food and beverage service to the room was very touching in her seriousness and professionalism.The receptionist is also warm and friendly, very patient and explain one by one.

The hotel is on a cliff and the view is splendid. I like the dinner which entails fresh local seafood with stunning flavor and taste. The spa is fanatic with ocean view. This is an enjoyable experience.

I didn’t know they have wine for sale. It would be nice if they provide drink manual for selection at dinner. It would be great if guests can do in-room shopping instead of going to gift shop.

Lovely sea view. Very traditional experience, yukata is provided and worn throughout the stay. Amazing Japanese dinner served in your room (we struggled to eat it as we are not great fish fans but that was our problem!!). Delicious Japanese breakfast. The staff don’t speak much English but they are very lovely. Great free transfer provided by the hotel from Izu-Adawara (we got Shinkansen from Tokyo to Atami and then changed to the odoriko train which costs extra). Nice onsen. Memorable experience never to be forgotten.

Room is very large and quiet, but you can hear the waves. very relaxing. Staffs are friendly and nice.
