We had a wonderful stay here! The location is excellent — only about a 7-minute walk from the train station and just a few minutes on foot from the public onsens around town. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the futon beds prepared for us were incredibly comfortable and cozy. We also really enjoyed the hotel’s private onsens, which are available for guests to use freely, and ended up using them several times during our stay. We chose to have the traditional dinner at the hotel one evening. While the food itself wasn’t quite to our personal taste, the experience was made so special by Phoo, our waitress. She was incredibly kind and lovely, and even wrote us a handwritten note that genuinely touched us. It was such a sweet and memorable gesture. Kinosaki is a beautiful and special place, and staying here was the perfect opportunity to slow down and relax in the middle of our trip through Japan. We had such a lovely time and are very happy we chose to stay here!

Service impeccable, le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins pour ses clients. Nous avons testé le petit-déjeuner qui était plutôt copieux. L'emplacement est parfait pour aller tester les différents onsens qui parsèment la ville. Je recommande.

La barrière de la langue nous a empêché de bien comprendre si les bains de l'hôtel était payant seulement si on voulait les privatiser à une heure précise ou si c'était tout le temps. Du coup, nous n'avons pas osé les utiliser. Après nous étions là surtout pour les bains publics donc bon... On aurait aussi apprécié que les futons ne soient pas rangés pendant que nous prenions le petit-déjeuner. Il n'était que 8h et on aurait bien aimé se rallonger un peu après manger.

We like every bit of the stay. Asuka, the staff who has been very attentive and nice to us has made our stay extra pleasant. She throughly explained everything to us, from how to navigate kinosaki to all the food being served to us for the kaiseki set we ordered. She communicated well with us with English, and we are pleased and happy that the other staff who finds out we aren’t Japanese spoke English with us as well. We do like that Sensui offered 2 private bath that require no reservations, just walk in if you need to when it’s available and we enjoyed a good bath there before bed and after strolling kinosaki town. Unlimited coffee and tea are available at the lounge too. There’s also free sake tasting from 6-10pm. We are given a pass to all attractions in kinosaki, a basket, yukatas, towels, socks and sandals so we are able to visit all the public bath houses in kinosaki.

館内や、室内は清潔でとても良かった。 スタッフの接遇や、メッセージカード、手作りのお勧めファイルなどおもてなしへの配慮が伝わった。

ベッドが固く寝付けなかった。また、ベッドメーキングも掛け布団のシーツが袋タイプでなく、布団を覆い下シーツと共にマットレスの下に挟み込む方法なのでベッドに入る時、シーツがバラバラになり不快で余計寝付けなかった。 食事も創作料理であったが、夕食など2時間以上かかった割にもの足りなかった。地元の食材を普通に食べたい。

La habitación nos pareció increible con la mesita y las sillas para poder tomar algo en la habitación y, además, el servicio te prepara los futones para dormir. Nos encantarón también los onsen privados!

エレベーターがないところ。 部屋にアメニティがないところ。 浴衣の着付けを外国人の方にしてもらったが、 少しまだ不慣れなせいか、着崩れてきた。

エントランスが綺麗で、朝ごはんがとても美味しい。 スタッフさんも皆さん親切でした

布団を敷きに来て下さる時間は聞いていましたが、片付けに来ることは聞いていなくて、朝食中不在の隙に布団が無くなっていて、部屋に入るなら一言欲しかったです。 あと片付けるのはチェックアウト後でも良いのでは？と思いました。

La camera con il tatami era fantastica, ci hanno portato le valigie in camera e ci hanno preparato loro il letto per poi toglierlo mentre noi facevamo colazione. Il soggiorno è stato davvero meraviglioso.

Personale molto gentile, pulizia ottima, design tradizionale giapponese, ottima offerta di servizi inclusi come bagno termale e macchina per il caffè.

女将さんや料理長、スタッフみなさんが優しく接してくださいました。料理も美味しくて色々と話しも弾みました。館内も清潔で内風呂も３つありますが、予約して別料金でも入る貸し切り風呂も大変良かったです。外湯巡りにも近いので非常に便利ですが、僕はこの施設のお風呂が大好きです。

Das Personal war super zuvorkommend und freundlich. Schöne zimmer mit tollen private Onsen direkt im Hotel. Auch das Essen (wir hatten den Beef Plan) war sehr gut.

L'accueil. La mise à disposition de yukatas, de paniers et de serviettes pour les onsens. Le service exceptionnel. La collation de bienvenue. Les sakes locaux en dégustation pour l'apéritif. Le petit déjeuner typiquement japonais était délicieux. Le confort des futons et des tatamis.

Ne pas avoir été prévenues que la plupart des restaurants étaient fermés à 20h30.

川の通りから一本入った閑静な場所のお陰で落ち着いたひと時を過ごさせていただきました。三階からの景色も良く子どもの頃にこんな旅館に両親と泊まった事を思い出しました。少し早く着いたので日の明るい時間の外湯めぐりは最高でした。

部屋は階段で上がる三階の昭和の香り漂う良くも悪くも懐かしい和室でした、エレベーターが無いので重い荷物には注意が必要、夕食も朝食もこんなものかなぁって、今は食材も上がっているからね、と言う妻の毎日の手料理に改めて感謝することができた旅行でした。

Beautiful modern style ryokan with excellent facilities. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious Japanese breakfast ( although no vegetarian option was available). We had a spacious room with view of the mountain. The ryokan is located right in the centre of this wonderful town on a quiet street.

A vegetarian breakfast option would have been preferable , especially as the staff sent a query weeks earlier regarding our dietary restrictions. My daughter is vegetarian.

Super Personal, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Schöne Zimmer, sehr leckere Küche wobei auf alle Wünsche eingegangen wird. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir waren rundum zurfrieden.

房間很大，地理位置前往各湯屋都不會太遠，傍晚時段大廳前台有清酒可以小酌，飯店亦有2間免費湯屋可以使用。

榻榻米日式鋪床房型，事前有先告知除了第一次鋪床，直到退房前都不需要協助收床及重鋪床，但退房當日吃完早餐，距離退房尚有2小時，床鋪就被收掉了，有種被趕退房的感覺，不是很好。

Abbiamo avuto un’esperienza davvero eccezionale al Sensui. Fin dal nostro arrivo abbiamo percepito un livello di ospitalità raro, fatto di attenzione sincera ai dettagli, cortesia e desiderio reale di far sentire gli ospiti speciali. Un ringraziamento speciale va al concierge Leo, un ragazzo giovane ma straordinariamente professionale. Sempre estremamente cortese, attento e disponibile, ci ha aiutati con grande gentilezza durante il soggiorno, dimostrando una cura per il cliente davvero fuori dal comune. È il tipo di persona che fa la differenza tra un ottimo hotel e un’esperienza memorabile. Sempre pronto ad aiutare, con il sorriso, competente e genuinamente interessato a rendere il soggiorno perfetto. La struttura è splendida, curata e perfettamente in linea con l’atmosfera unica di Kinosaki Onsen. Se torneremo in questa meravigliosa località, il Sensui sarà sicuramente la nostra prima scelta.

Stedet var overhode ikke som beskrevet. Det hadde mange gode vurderinge, så vi ble skikkelig skuffet. I tillegg tok de mer betalt enn vi hadde fått oppgitt på booking sine sider, og var ikke villige til å rikke seg.

Personalet var ikke imøtekommende. Kensai- middagen var en vits. Dårligste maten jeg noen gang har spist. Første retten var en smakløs buljong. En annen rett var kokt ris med kokt bambuskudd- totalt smakløst. Neste rett var nudler i den samme smakløse buljongen….

Exceptional! I'm writing this on the train ride to Kyoto from Kinosaki. My fiancee and I stayed for our (pre-wedding) honeymoon and we found it to be an incredible retreat. The private onsen with sauna and cold plunge was amazing, food spectacular, and beds were so comfortable. It was romantic, calming, energizing, and everything we wanted. The staff were so attentive and lovely too. My fiancee and I have already said we'd like to be back here one day... maybe for a future anniversary.

They provided everything we needed to experience the town and the onsens. The room was adorable and the tatami very comfortable. Brilliant location right in the town centre. We liked the traditional breakfast, which was reasonably priced, although nobody explained to us what we were eating.

The staff was efficient but not particularly personable. Some interactions felt a bit awkward. No shower in the room, but the hotel onsen made up for it.

The breakfast was simple and reasonable. The ryokan location is near the onsen town and convenient to reach.

It will be much better and convenient If there is bath room in the room. There is no lift available, So for old people or people with leg problem will have difficulties to climb the staircase to 3rd floor. Some staffs are unable to communicate in simple English to international tourist. It makes the situation very difficult and stress for the tourist.

朝食の素材が新鮮でおいしかった。ぶりの煮つけは柔らかくて全く臭みがなく、薄味でカラダに優しい。すばらしい。夕食は残念ながら満席で予約できず。施設内も室内も落ち着けて居心地がよかったです。不必要に華美なところがなくミニマリスト的で好感が持てました。温泉街のメインの通りから徒歩30秒という立地もよい。研修スタッフが一生懸命で好感が持てました。ありがとうございました。

朝食ぶりの煮つけは最高においしかったが、大根と人参に出汁がもう少ししみ込んでいればもっとよかった。贅沢過ぎる指摘ですみません。すぐ裏は隣の建物が接近しているので、窓からの景色は楽しめず。トイレの扉はロマンチックではなかったので、初デートにはすすめません。価値観の理解しあえるパートナーならまったく問題なし。宿泊先とは関係ありませんが、チェックインまで駐車場難民となりました。

Had a most wonderful 2 night stay at Sensui during sakura season. Ryokan location is very central in the middle of town and can walk to all the 7 public onsens easily. The rooms are spacious, the food is of high quality and the service is excellent. Get the half board option as the kaiseki cuisine for dinner is superb. The friendly staff at the ryokan, especially Asuka san who took care of me, made me feel so welcome and taken care of even though I was travelling alone. Loved the modern-traditional mix of the ryokan, and their 2 private baths for free use by guests are so nice. I'm looking forward to return in winter to stay in one of the renovated rooms and for the famous crab season!

The only thing is i wish they provide free shuttle bus service to and from the train station, as it takes some time and effort to walk with the luggage for 500m

Wir haben die Unterkunft gewählt, weil wir einen Aufenthalt in einem Ryokan in einem Zimmer mit japanischer Einrichtung und typisch japanisches Essen erleben wollten. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und die Futons bequem. Das Essen übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Alles war von sehr guter Qualität, wunderschön angerichtet und schmeckte hervorragend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass Mika uns jeden Gang erklärt hat und einen phantastischen Service geboten hat. Wir bedanken uns, dass Mika unsere Gastgeberin im Restaurant war. Das gesamte Team des Sensui kümmert sich aussergewöhnlich sorgfältig um die Gäste. Die privaten Onsem im Haus sind klein, aber schön gemacht und für 2 Personen perfekt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist in einer ruhigen Nebenstasse, aber trotzdem zentral, sodass man problemlos zu den Onsen und am Kanal entlang spazieren kann.

Es gibt wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten, die verbessert werden könnten: - das individuelle Bad mit WC und Waschbecken ist gepflegt, aber etwas alt. - Der Blick aus dem Fenster ging leider auf eine Baustelle. Jedoch gab es keinen Baulärm. Wie gesagt: Wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten.

Die Zimmer sind wahnsinnig schön und ruhig eingerichtet und man hat relativ viel Platz für sich. Die privaten Onsen sind klein aber genug um zu zweit ein wenig Ruhe zu finden. Das Kaiseki war sehr modern und ausgewogen, wenn auch nicht das spannendste Essen was wir in Japan hatten. Dennoch ist die Unterkunft eine exzellente Erfahrung! Das Personal ist ebenso sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und es wird insgesamt sehr viel geboten für das Geld.

Es gibt wirklich nichts zu beanstanden in dieser Unterkunft.
