Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Alles super, nebenan Distillery als Möglichkeit des abendlichen Entspannens. Personal supernett, Hütte tolle Aussicht, gemütlich. Prinzipbedingt kaum Ausstattung, also alles mitbringen, was man braucht (Kaffee, Tee etc).
E-Auto-Lademöglichkeit eingeschränkt und langsam.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2026This is one of the places I will never forget. The location and the view is out of this world. It is a small cottage but so cozy and has all the tiny details you could ever need. If I ever come to Geiranger again I would definitely come here again and would so much recommend it to anyone who wants to forget the hassle of this crazy world we're living in. My husband and I weren't even eager to leave early for our planned tours cause the mood and the relaxation that overcomes one just by sitting in the balcony or looking out of the sitting room window is more than enough !! We were at cottage number 10

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Great location with very peaceful surroundings. Geiranger Port is only around 2 km away, so it is convenient while still being away from the busy area. The property also has an EV charger in the parking area, approximately 4 kW, so make sure you carry your own charging cable. The host was extremely helpful and kindly provided both a hair dryer and an EV charging cable when I requested them.
In our cabin, the queen-size bed was positioned under a loft area with stairs leading to the upper level. For me, this made the sleeping area feel a little cramped and claustrophobic. This may only apply to the specific cabin we stayed in, as other cabins might have different layouts.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026It’s in a water front property away from the tourist cruise crowds. The lodging is rustic. They have basic kitchen facilities to prepare simple meals.
I think it’s a bit pricey for a very basic accommodation. They provided the bed sheets but for the price, we still had to make and strip our own beddings, empty the trash cans, sweep the floor and clean the kitchen.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026De camping heeft een prachtige ligging net buiten Geiranger (2 minuutjes rijden), maar daardoor een prachtig uitzicht over het Fjord. Het huisje waar we sliepen was van alle gemakken voorzien. De slaapkamers hadden goede bedden en de keuken had alles wat je nodig hebt tijdens een verblijf. Echt een aanrader als je Geiranger wil ontdekken en niet in een toeristisch hotel wil zitten.

De foto's geven een ruimere indruk dan de hut in werkelijkheid is. Je moet zelf nog het bed dekken lakens & slopen worden gereed gelegd. Voor 4 personen is het wel erg krap.

Hou er rekening mee dat er van je gevraagd wordt het huisje echt schoon te maken als je vertrekt. Denk aan poetsen, stofzuigen en dweilen. We hadden verwacht dat dit wel in de prijs inbegrepen zou zijn.

There were a few minor defects (reported) and it was the most expensive stay on our 10 property Norway trip. I knew the cost when I booked it, but expected a more spacious, luxurious property for that price. High season supply and demand in the popular Geiranger area likely dictated the price.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Tout y était, l’environnement fabuleux, la vue sur le fjord, la proximité de Geiranger, le confort la propreté de quoi passer un séjour dépaysant. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un temps magnifique.
Seul petit bémol pour les sensibles au bruit, le bruit de la cascade qui passe juste sous le camping et se deverse dans le fjord un peu plus bas. Mais pour les amoureux de la nature ca reste incroyable.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026We had cabin no.9 which had a great view of the fjord. Most, if not all, would have a great view. The balcony was good for watching the boats go by. Cabin had everything we needed and had modern furniture. Host was very helpful.
Double bed had a single bunk bed above it which made it quite difficult to get in.

I loved everything, the only thing is that the fridge is making some weird noise every now and then and it’s ok but in the night when you sleeping is a bit annoying

La personne qui nous a accueillie était très gentille, elle nous a attendu et avait anticipé en mettant les draps à disposition dans le chalet malgré notre arrivée tardive.
Les chalets sont très proches les uns des autres, manque un peu d'intimité

היו לנו שתי בקתות. הבקתה לזוג היתה נוחה מאוד. הבקתה למשפחה עם שני חדרי שינה היתה קצת צפופה. התקרה היתה מאוד נמוכה !

Ho preso la cabina 13, a pochi passi dal Fiordo di Gerainger, vista pazzesca, posteggio comodo, il bungalow era ben fornito con letti comodi e una disposizione eccezionale. Sul posto abbiamo noleggiato una barchetta senza patente e pescato sul fiordo.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Location is beautiful. We were surrounded by magnificent views. It was quiet and even with other cabins occupied it didn’t feel crowded at all. It was nice to not be in the main part of Geiranger. Direct view from our cabin was superb.
We didn’t bring a car. We thought public transport was easily available but it wasn’t. We walked 30 minutes to and back from the center everyday. While we enjoyed the walks, it would be great if we could rent a bike during our stay so that going to the city would be easier.
