Personne à l’arrivée et au départ : très impersonnel. Nous avons eu froid. Literie pas confortable et lits non faits à l’arrivée. Lit de 120 trop petit pour deux ayant obligé l’un de nous deux à dormir sur le lit superposé, sans échelle pour y monter (dangereux !!) Accès pour se garer plutôt dangereux : route étroite et raide Rapport qualité / prix trop élevé au vue des prestations.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The front desk staff, especially Ranier, was incredibly helpful and kind. I had booked Fossen Accommodation for my two friends, but unfortunately there was no room available for all three of us. We had to book another property, but that reservation was cancelled due to a water leak the night before our arrival. When I came to Fossen with my two friends on August 13, I asked Ranier if he could help us. He went out of his way to contact Hotel Union, which is part of the same company, and fortunately found the last available room for the three of us. We were extremely grateful for his help.

Al llogar l'apartament indicava que no s'havia de fer la neteja però en canvi a l'arribar hi havia un cartell ben gran dins que deia que si que s'havia de fer.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Gite avec une vue magnifique, la plus belle qu'on ait eu de tout notre séjour. Dès l'arrivée, on est ébloui par le paysage. Très bien situé, en dehors de la cohue des touristes d'un jour descendus des bateaux.
Rien vraiment à reprocher mais intérieur assez froid. Manque d'une déco un peu plus accueillante.

Le lit de 1,20 de largeur. Comment y faire tenir deux personnes et deux couettes ? J'ai fini sur le canapé... Le système de clé commandé par téléphone, pas assez bien expliqué. Quand on a fait son check in sur le téléphone, la porte se déverrouille automatiquement. Mais je n'ai même pas pensé à essayer de l'ouvrir, je m'attendais à trouver une vraie clé. Bon, je suis dépassée, je le reconnais...

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026三世帯の家族で合計9名でしたが、こちらFamily Houseに3名、他のCabin3室に其々2名ずつ泊まりました。 私はFamily Houseに泊まりました。部屋がとても広くて綺麗でした。内装も家具も豪華で素敵でした。 バルコニーからのフィヨルドの眺めは最高でした。また泊まりたいです。 受付のスタッフさんがとても親切でした。 1泊でしたので、今度は、3連泊位したいです。
Cabinも景色は良かったのですがシャワーが狭くて使いにくかったそうです。 Houseはとても広くて2階もあり、部屋も沢山ありましたが、ロックがかかっていました。Houseに9名でも利用できたのではと思います。予約時に設定できたのでしょうか？？ ハウスに9名で泊まれていたらもっと楽しかったと思います。

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026What a view overlooking the Geiranger Fjord! Basic but functional kitchenette, had everything that we needed to be able to self cater. Shower was powerful and hot. Quiet and peaceful location. Automated self-check in was really good for us as we arrived much later than we thought we would (outside of normal check in hours).
Mattresses on both bunk beds need replacing (one small double bed which was too small for 2 adults to sleep in and one single above it).

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Die Aussicht auf den Geiranger Fjord war genial, bedeutet aber auch einen etwas längeren Weg in den Ort mit einigen Höhenmetern, was für uns kein Problem war. Der Self Check-In hat problemlos funktioniert. Der inkludierte Parkplatz direkt vor der Hütte ist in Geiranger sehr sinnvoll.
Das Bad mit dem Duschvorhang war sehr spartanisch, aber für ein Campinghütte angemessen. Die Couch war leider schon sehr durchgesessen und hatte einen etwas modrigen Geruch.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist beeindruckend und wohl der Grund für viele Kunden, zu buchen.
Unser Häuschen hat den Anschein gemacht, als könnte es mehr Liebe vertragen. Sauberkeit war auch ein Thema, wir beliessen die Küche bestimmt sauberer, als wir es angetroffen haben. Zudem ist das Bett zu kurz und zu eng für zwei Gäste.

The cabin was not suitable for four adults. There was only one comfortable bed (a single twin bed). There was no fjord view from the cabin (despite the advs) because of the cabins in front of our cabin, but from the outside the view was fantastic.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026La cabaña tiene unas vistas espectaculares al fiordo. Limpia y agradable. Tiene un buen tamaño para cuatro personas. La habitación principal tiene cama de matrimonio, la otra habitación tiene una litera para dos personas. Baño también bastante amplio.
La litera era incomoda para los adultos. Había que hacer las camas, creo que deberían estar hechas a la llegada de los clientes.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026La vue depuis l'hébergement est exceptionnelle et on ne s'en lasse pas. L'accès à l'hébergement était très simple avec la clé digitale. Le chalet était propre et confortable. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la cuisine. Le chalet permet de rayonner très facilement dans Geiranger. Avec 2 enfants, nous avons choisi de reprendre la voiture pour descendre au bord de fjord mais avons rejoint la ferme de Westeras à pied.
Il y avait une très forte odeur désagréable venant des canalisations de la salle de bain. Nous avons beaucoup aéré mais les températures n'étant pas très élevées, nous ne pouvions pas garder les fenêtres ouvertes. Cette odeur récurrente nous a vraiment gênés pendant les 2 nuits. Les petits rideaux aux fenêtres ne sont pas occultants et si vous aimez dormir dans le noir, il faut prévoir de quoi occulter en plus.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026La posizione è il punto forte della struttura, appena sopra Geiranger con una vista bellissima sul fiordo. Il porto è a 5 min utile di auto.
Il livello di pulizia può essere migliorato, così come l'equipaggiamento della cucina (piatti, posate, bicchieri e padelle sono al minimo indispensabile). Anche se non è un punto negativo valido in generale, segnalo che noi siamo stati senza energia elettrica (e conseguentemente senza riscaldamento) dalle 23 di sera alle 7:30 del giorno dopo (agosto 2026)

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Reservamos dos tipos de cabinas. La grande estaba genial, cómoda, amplia y bonita. Las vistas de ambas espectaculares. La cabina pequeña era bonita y rústica. El personal muy amable y atento.
En la cabina pequeña no estaba hecha la cama. Cama muy estrecha y pequeña para dos. No había ni gel ni champú en ninguna de las cabinas. La lavadora se quedó atascada y eso nos retrasó la salida al día siguiente.

Strange with no staff at reception, and being booked from somthing called Hotel Union. But it caused also no issues with the stay.

O local para chegar é muito difícil de carro pois a rua e estreita e numa elevação íngreme. O quarto é muito pequeno com uma cama tipo beliche sobre a pequena e apertada cama de casal. O banheiro é pequeno com uma pia minúscula e com vazamento atras do vaso sanitário! Muito úmido o local.

Avevamo richiesto una struttura accessibile perché uno di noi è in sedia a rotelle e la nostra richiesta era stata confermata in fase di prenotazione. Peccato che ci sia invece stata assegnata una casetta con accesso dopo una rampa di scale. Fortunatamente il ragazzo che era di turno all'accoglienza ci ha trovato una soluzione alternativa. Grazie. We had to make the beds ourselves and based on the house rules we had to unmake them and take the trash out. We did respect the rules but felt very weird :) no heating in the bathroom so it was cold.

La casita parece una casa familiar, es muy amplia, un poco antigua pero tenia su encanto. Bastante bien

L'offre et la demande peuvent justifier un prix élevé mais quand on encaisse de tels loyers (225 € la nuit) on se doit à un minimum. Pas de four, pas de micro-ondes, 2 plaques de cuisson dont une qui ne marche pas, un radiateur en panne lui aussi. Un canapé pour six (?) et sa table de salon mais pas de table pour manger et une seule chaise. Un lit de 120 très inconfortable, un lave main comme lavabo de salle de bain. Aucun service, pas de petits plus mais des moins, pas de produits de toilette pour la douche. Ils poussent l'économie jusqu'au papier WC 1er prix et ils ne font pas les lits. Rustique ne veut pas dire vétuste, une rénovation des lieux et de l'état d'esprit du propriétaire s’impose. On est loin des standards Booking, nous voyageons depuis des années, il s'agissait de notre 7ème logement en Norvège cette année, nos notes évoluent entre 7 et 10, je n'ai jamais vu un tel écart entre la note Booking, le prix et la qualité de la prestation, la vue magnifique ne doit pas tout effacer.

No directions on how to walk / trek downhill from the lodge to the town. We were not sure if there is a path behind the lodge. Maybe you should add this to the instruction booklet kept in the room.
