The accommodation had everything we needed. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp and fresh! Spotlessly clean. Easy safe parking. Friendly staff. Nice meals in the hotel. Roaring open fire created a warm & pleasant ambience in the Old English pub.

It was perfect for what we were looking for. Last minute booking, we were tired, hungry and dirty, an the staff were helpful, and friendly even though we probably stinky after 8 days in the hills. The food was delicious, and hot, and the service was great.

Lack of parking was the only thing, but got that sorted.

Perfect location for an event being held at the Renwick Events Centre. Convenient to be able to have dinner at the pub. Didn't have any issues with noise.

The location was great. My room was clean. The pub was showing the World Cup Matches! The staff were friendly.

The heater was preset and just a bit cooler than I prefer.

Good location for the vineyards area. Great pub next door for evening meal. No stairs to carry luggage up and down.

Had a work crew of upto 3 working 35 ks from shops provided cut lunches evening meals all generous sizes a good choice in the 2 room apartmenti above the hotel again generous size

Great little room right across from the pub. We read the reviews of hotels in the area and picked this place because multiple people said their were bikes on-site to rent (or for free depending on the review). There were not any bikes. This ended up working out as we paid to rent bikes from "Wine tours by bike with lorelle and Greg" which was very worth it as they had lists of places that were closed that day and which roads were not safe for bikes.

On site restaurant was closed on Sunday but different maps/information made that conflicting information. Fortunately there's a kitchenette.

Vi var 3 drenge som brugte 2 nætter her, fuldkommen magisk oplevelse, vi ankom på Saint Patrick day og tog selvfølgelig ned i baren, de lokale var så åbne og imødekommende, især Steve!!!! Kan kun varmt anbefale det her sted, især hvis man kan godt lide en god snak og en masse øl ;)) Maden var også helt udemærket!

Location was good - there was a bike hire place just down the road where we rented bikes to cycle around the wineries - great fun! Room was fine and there was an onsite pub with good food which was handy

We stayed in January and there was a considerable number of flies in the pub garden, hopefully the new owners have addressed the issue by now

Nice studio at a perfect location. In the heart of the wine region and nearby the great walking tracks.

They were able to provide a trundle bed for me. It was a good experience staying above the old English pub.

Location is handy for the wine tours and bike rentals.

Our bed linen was dirty. We told the staff but they made a big deal out of it. Eventually they changed the sheets while we waited outside.

We were lucky the room was available early, we could check in early as well. Spacious room, excellent shower, large bed, bike rent nearby. Noise from the beer garden / live music / visitors parking was minor and stopped relatively early for a Friday night (approx. 10pm).

We knew upfront the kitchen does not have a stove. This would be a great asset to have. However, the pub is open for a warm meal.

The mattress was awful, definitely felt like the springs had gone on one side, resulting in a pretty bad sleep unfortunately.

We chose to stay here as were did a Wineries Bike tour and is close location to the bike hire which was great clean and tidy motel rooms with plenty of room, plus great pub Cork & Keg right 20 steps away hat has good atmosphere.

Hospitality, the friendliness, the location, the food. Will return again.

Nice and simple place that delivered exactly what we wanted - warm shower and a good bed for the night. The fact that location is easy to get to, and continue the journey next day, is grest. The pub onsite was a bonus and their meal hit the spot!

If you're looking for something quiet and fancy this is probably not your place.

We booked the apartment above the bar. Bar closed at descent hours and beds were really comfortable.

The water in the apartment would stop if used downstairs in the pub.

Close the the vineyards and a good price

It’s a funky space above the bar. It wasn’t loud and we went to bed well. But I could see it difficult to sleep if they had live music and you wanted to go to bed early

New pwners had only just started the week I stayed and were lovely to deal with. It has everything you need. The shower is nice and big and the room is a decent size

There is no privacy from the pub/restaurant customers when sitting outside. The towels were a bit faded and crisp, but given time from the new owners, I am sure there will be small updates.

Gute Lage, um Wanderungen zu den umliegenden Weingütern zu machen. Pub direkt gegenüber von der Unterkunft. Dieser schließt allerdings schon sehr früh.

Das WLAN funktioniert in der Unterkunft so gut wie gar nicht. Man musste immer draußen auf den Hof gehen.

Good location. Would have been fun to have a meal at the pub but my schedule didn't allow it.

We thought we were staying in one of the units at the side of the property but we’re in fact in the two bedded apartment above the pub. This was grubby, very dated and should not be let in my opinion.

Grubby apartment, cushions falling apart, carpet stained. Bedding was clean but the throws etc were old. Odd set up with shower off to one side in a room away from the toilet and sink. Very haphazard. Food in the pub was great and the staff there lovely.

Very clean, well equipped room, very friendly staff, kindly provided bikes for wine tour; all make for a relaxing stay in the heart of Marlborough wine country

pub on site, good units for what I needed

Location was great close to vineyards and we were able to visit a few wineries by waling. Room was spacious enough for us and we had a good sleep there. For us it was a perfect choice for one night stay.

Friendly approachable staff. Room layout and cleanliness. Had the steak meal, which was prepared quickly and spot on Rare Steak. Definitely recommend venue to my friends wanting accommodation in Renwick, Blenheim.

Very nice and clean

It was perfect for my needs, travelling for work nearby. Plenty of facilities in Renwick so didn't need to travel back to Blenheim for anything during my stay. The pub is great, actually reminds me of a traditional country pub in the UK. Also the bonus friendly dog. Facilities in the room were fine, plenty of tea/coffee provided and lots of towels.

Fridge was a bit noisy overnight and beds could have been comfier (probably a bit old) but very little to dislike about my stay.

Clean, comfortable and for our needs it was a great location. Great value for money. Not a flashy place but perfectly adequate.

Great people, excellent meal. Really easy drive from the Picton ferry. Made even better by being pet friendly. Authentic looking English Pub.
