It well maintained and neat. Gave the feeling of being off-grids, no noise and light pollution They provided the items you would need to be comfortable.

Getting there is a bit of a schlep but it can also be a fun experience

Our stay at Soetvlei Tented Camp was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful setting and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature—without sacrificing comfort. The tents are beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped, offering a perfect balance between luxury and an authentic bush experience. Waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying coffee while overlooking the tranquil landscape was a highlight of our stay. Eonora and Wayne were warm, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to assist while still giving us space to relax and unwind. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. One of the things we loved most was the sense of calm and privacy. It’s the ideal escape from busy city life—perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking to recharge in a serene environment. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our return. We would highly recommend Soetvlei Tented Camp to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway in nature.

One downside for us was the dirt road leading to the camp. It’s quite rough in places and not really suited for a normal car, althoughwe used a normal car. An SUV or bakkie would definitely be better equipped to handle the terrain. While we understand that the remote location is part of the charm, the drive in and out was a bit stressful with a regular car. It’s something future guests should keep in mind when planning their trip.

unit below wasn't very private, top units kept on looking down on us, and keeping quite wasn't happening from them till after 2 am on the Friday, and then on Saturday we couldn't go another night so late, but was quickly sorted out by owner.

It was my second time visiting the place. Its a phenomenal place to visit.

I like the whole bush experience sleeping in the tent, just the whole nature experience it was so relaxing and calm . The owners are very welcoming and friendly they went out of their ways to make us enjoy the whole experience. Thanks Eonora & Wayne.

It was indeed peaceful, it's exactly how they described it. Their support with getting us to the Farm, all instructions were clear and they made sure to suggest routes that were comfortable for us. That was great!

There was one toilet available. Which was a walk to the toilet from our tent. Especially when you wake up in the middle of the night and you need to use the bathroom.

Absolutely loved everything at this hidden gem . Pictures don’t do it justice , it is the most perfect place if you’re looking to escape from the city. The hosts are very friendly and respond promptly . Will definitely go back again😃

The long gravel road, very far from tar road and not so accommodating of small cars however not the owner's fault but one thing that would make me think twice about coming back unless I have a bakkie.

This place is better than home,this was the most relaxing time i ever had.

We liked everything about the place,it was peaceful and the best way to get out of the crowd.although it was raining the whole time but still we had fun.the guard dog when we di our hiking was friendly and protective.

The only problem was that other guest finished the warm water.sonthe whole visit we used cold water.

Be sure to bring some lemon and cloves for the flies...

The tranquility I experienced was out of this world. Amazing views. Exceptional service. As a novice, I forgot to bring some supplies like a torch and the host was kind enough to borrow me a lamp. There is a plug point just outside the tent, bring an extension cord if you want electricity inside the tent. I am definitely coming back again. Great value for money

Quiet and relaxed place to be.

The monkeys in the morning. But they don’t stay for too long.

First and farmost; I'd like to appreciate the hosts, such amazing people. The farm is so calm, peaceful and heartease... a great escape from the city to experience nature, you'd love the sounds of the early mornings... what a way to wake up, with Mother Nature singing melodies to you so in synch!! Beautiful sunset views. Comfortable, clean, and practical spaces. The bed is super comfortable, and at night under a clear sky; you'd get to stargaze, wonder, and be in awe!

Except for us having troubles with our car traveling to the farm , there's absolutely nothing to dislike. A million thank yous to the Hosts for their help in time of our need... it wasn't expected, but you guys went far beyond what was required... thank you for your time and efforts spent on assisting us... you guys really left an impression on us💯

The pool was not clean we couldn't even swim only if they can clean it prior guest arrival

This was an exceptional stay for the whole family .We booked three of the tents and it was a first time true camping experience .We loved the nature around us and Tranquility. The host Eonara was fabulous ensuring our stay was an awesome experience with the great communication as well .Definately returning

We enjoyed the hiking, quietness, nature. The tent and car were shaded. Everything was neat and clean and very friendly owners. Ice and wood could be requested anytime

I had a beautiful experience at this location. It was exceptionally quiet and relaxing, with everything clean and neat. As someone who doesn't typically camp, I found it to be a delightful getaway. Highly recommended!

I believe the bathrooms could be improved by adding a window, particularly for those chilly days.

Wonderful weekend brake away. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. The bed was very comfortable, the ablutions were very clean. The camp is well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay. A gas stove is a must to take with , just makes thing a bit easier.

This was my second visit here and my partners first. We had an absolutely amazing time. The place is clean, the bed is so warm and comfy. Everything is so peaceful. We enjoyed the hike so much.

The venue is lovely. The hike was enjoyable, and Jan the dog was an excellent guide. Eonora was very accommodating and resolved any issues promptly.

Other visitors played music in the evenings which detracted from the quiet bush environment. However, it didn't continue for long. We also needed some shade at our camp site.
