Reviewed Sep 18, 2026The room and bathroom is clean. The room is well equipped with air conditioning and electric blanket. It is within walking distance to the shopping area where we walked to have a delicious dinner at a Thai restaurant after long walks at Mt Cook (Tasman Glacier and Hooker Valley). The owner was very friendly and helped us to changed the battery of the TV remote. Besides, drinks, cookies and chocolates were provided. We really enjoyed our stay.
We were confused where to check-in. Luckily owner saw us and came out from the house to show us the room number. The owner may inform us earlier by sending messages to explain the check-in and check-out procedures before our check-in time.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Kyle and Glenna are absolutely lovely. The room is perfect. Beautiful big room with comfy bed and nice bit soft pillows and bedding. Excellent facilities. Fresh milk, coffee tea etc. Cleanliness is top notch with big soft towels and hot showers with great pressure. A couple of 100 metres to main street, everything you need there. Will 100% book again.
No news here Everything was perfect.

I always complain about pillows. I like a high profile pillow

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, the room was super spacious and overall really nice. The shower was a dream to use after spending so long away from home, and the front yard was beautiful. Also parking was SO easy.
Honestly nothing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The shower had heaps of hot water and pressure but shower head felt like it was ticklish I know stupid thing to pick holes in . the jets were to fine for me

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Good location, also just some of the little things like good quality towels, a 2 pack of biscuits and a couple of little chocolates and fresh milk
Only thing I could suggest is to have a thinner quilt as an option, the quilt was extremely warm and was hard to find that comfortable sweet spot with the air-cond

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Proprietario cordiale e camera pulita.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026The location of the property was fantastic. Just a short easy walk to shops and restaurant. The room was very spacious, with a very comfortable bed, gorgeous throw rugs, a great sized bathroom, and I loved having cable tv! This was one of my favourite places I stayed in NZ and I’d absolutely stay here again.
The only thing I wish was included in the booklet in the room or maybe shared by staff was knowledge of the towns emergency alarm which I think is located very close to the property. This gave me quite a fright late at night during my stay as this is not a normal alarm outside of NZ.

Price-table ruling could be adjusted, since we had to pay full price for an 8 month baby as for another person, which is not very usual across other locations. Other than that, superb stay.
