It was in a convenient location and close to Aoraki/mount cook area (40 min out). Good place to sleep.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable, room had a bit of an Oder when we first checked in however that went away quickly

Few steps from the town centre, very close to amenities.

We like the motel so much as their facilities are comprehensive and clean. The location is good especially for watching the galaxy and going to the beautiful lakes(Tekapo and Pukaki)

The bathroom is a little bit cold for winter.

What a great find! Lovely decor and really comfortable beds. The property feels more like a nice apartment than a motel. Very nice staff and they stored our bags for us while we went to Mt Cook. Great value for money.

Great motel. The shower was hot with good water pressure, the bed was comfortable, and I really liked the pillows. It was also really convenient being able to walk across the road to grab dinner or pick something up to eat. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. Greatful they had the heatpump running before I arrived, greeted to a warm room.

It is a large space with separate living area and bedroom, large kitchen but it was not very well equipped and we had to wash all the pans and microwave dishes before we could use them. The walls around the stove area was splattered with fat. Otherwise, it is a comfortable nice space

It was clean and got big space around, neat and tidy up, it was close to supermarket, gas stations, and restaurants.

There was nothing like that, everything was good, well organised and the staff were great.

Lovely set up of rooms and living/dining area. Room had heating on when we arrived. Very comfy bed and excellent shower. Air fryer in the kitchen was a nice addition.

Good location and there were heated rails in the toilet which was really useful.

Heater wasn't strong in the winter, and some of the electric blankets in the room weren't working. We had booked 2 rooms, one of the rooms shower area was not draining well.

Location was good, walking into and around Twizel while my husband was fishing. They gave us room to park our boat nearby. good size fridge with freezer box for fish. comfortable bed. The floor heater kept us warm enough as the heatpump had stopped working after a power surge.

We were disappointed with the size of the unit, it was partly our own fault as it does say 15m2 but it as we had stayed there before in a bigger unit we were unaware of the smaller size. There was nowhere to put our bags and suitcases except on the floor which made it very hard to get around (there was 1 suitcase stand only). I felt there could be more benches or hooks to lay out our stuff, coats, bags, towels etc. the bathroom was very lacking in hanging or bench space.

Perfect for what we needed for 2 nights. Plenty of space and great location

Heating could have been better it was cold when we arrived. Warmed up once we turned the heaters on but the heaters weren't great to be left on overnight. A heatpump would heat the place much better. Beds weren't that comfortable, even a topper pad on them would make a big difference

Location. The shower water pressure was good.

The heat pump and the cooker range hood were not working. There is no kitchen towel. The shower door couldn't close properly. The hand soap dispenser was empty. There is no dish washer in the unit but we were requested to clean all dishes before leaving. I would expect the motel fee would have included all cleaning fees. If this is the policy, please specified clearly in the booking form before payment.

Warm and spacious, easy check in. Room had its heating on by the time we arrived. Room is much larger than normal motel room.

It is not modern, the shower has a curtain that sticks to you when the high pressure shower is turned on. High pressure meant the volume of water difficult for the outlet to cope. Single glazing means you can hear traffic noise easily, luckily not a busy town. Carpet in the kitchen area impedes opening of the fridge door. Little quirks with staying in an older unit.

Centrally located. The staff were wonderful. Clean and spacious room.

Great location. Close to everything like grocery store, food takeaways, laundromat. It’s also closer to go to Mt Cook/Aoraki & lake Pukaki. Great access to go to lake Tekapo. Staff is very friendly. The room is nice and clean .

Wir waren in Unit 15. Leider war die Unterkunft nicht besonders sauber, auch die Küche im Zimmer hätte sauberer sein können. Im Zimmer lag zudem ein unangenehmer, abgestandener Geruch. Vieles wirkte bereits abgewohnt, und durch die undichten Fenster zog kalte Luft ins Zimmer. Schade, denn die Lage ist gut.

Very easy to check in and check out with very clear instructions so no need to do anything when we got there, very tidy and great unit

Not a huge amount of lightning in the bathroom

Clean, but most importantly it was warm during winter time. We had a late check in, oil heater was on which was very thoughtful thank you. Shower pressure was amazing and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to make a meal.

There wasn’t anything really, I couldn’t figure out how to put the lock box back up but that may have had something to do with it being frozen.

Office not open until after 2 and closed at checkout. Shower leaked all over the floor. Small soap tube was empty. Sheets and pillowslips were not pressed wrinkled as if bed had been slept in.

Lovely staff. Comfy bed. Had dinner at a nice restaurant nearby.

Bathroom was tiny.

Clean, comfy, warm and private. AC not working but the heater did a good job keeping it warm. Bed was comfortable. Little kitchenette had everything you need. Walking distance to town. Plenty of space.

Nothing was plugged in. I had to pull the bed out to plug the lamps and the electric blanket in. The PowerPoint was directly behind the bed. The electric blankets didn’t work (I’m not a huge fan of them but they should be working). No heat lamp in the bathroom. No towel rail to hang the towels up just plastic hooks on the wall meaning the towel never dried because it was all folded on itself.

Good size, very warm and had microwave in the room. Good location. Sky sports also available

The woman at the front desk on arrival was so friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well supplied for what you needed Great hot water and good shower pressure. Prompt communication

No extraction fans were working so there was a lot of dampness, despite having windows open. Heat pump wasn't available to use, a heater was available however. Nil communication/advise about this, so disappointing considering what I paid per night

kitchen - not a real kitchen. only an air fryer and those portable stove top that wasn't great wifi - there was a limit of 4 devices officially per room, which made no sense since we booked for 5 people. when I called them to share another code they said there's nothing they can do about it + we would just have to disconnect and reconnect if we want to use it. this wifi was also very very choppy and sometimes there weren't even 4 devices connected but it would say we were completely full. I think the attitude of the customer service person on the phone was incredibly poor and unhelpful and frankly I don't understand this wifi limit...

Awesome service so friendly n informative. Let us know we had left something behind n organized pick up for us. Close to town centre 3 min walk n great food choices.

Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, unser Zimmer lies keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, Restaurants, Bars und ein Supermarkt sind zu Fuß wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

TWIZELの中心地で便利でした。スーパーが近くにありました。 マウントクック国立公園内のホテルは高いので、レンタカーであればTWIZELで十分だと思いました。

5月半ばでしたが結構寒かったです。特にバスルームが寒かったので、バスルームにもヒーターがあったら良かったです。

We stayed in a lovely little tiny home, perfect for a couple of nights. Ideal location for shops, perfect for exploring the local area with a car parking space. Laundry facilities were easy to access as well.

It was all pretty good. very close to the shops and restaurants. easy access from the highway. clean and comfortable. easy check in. parking right in front of the room. quiet. bed was comfortable.

The only thing I would maybe recommend is to turn on the heat before so the room is a bit warmer when you first arrive. The price is a bit high.

Smooth check in, clean rooms and quiet location. Right in the centre of town so the shops and Cafe is a walk away. Neatly located near Mt Cook so perfect for an overnight stay

We had a long drive from Dunedin, with various stops along the way, and we weren’t going to make the 6 pm check-in time, so the owner very kindly had the room ready for us with the heaters on and the key on the dining table. We had the two bedroom apartment with separate dining and lounge areas, which was very spacious and comfortable. The motel was very conveniently located near the local supermarket and other facilities, and it was an easy scenic drive to Mt Cook Village.

Car park is a bit tight so you need to be very careful if you’re manoeuvring out of the corner parking space.

No heat pump remote room was freezing. Bed was damp room was damp. Not enough blankets on bed and no spare. Poor ventilation for the shower which will by why the room was damp. Toilet needed a good clean.

This motel was in the township, so close to the supermarket and other facilities. It's also close to tourism opportunities including bushwalking.

It would have been good to have an additional blanket in the room, rather than having to ask for one. The split system didn't work so we had another heater there.

No apparent staff on regular duty. ie office closed when info said it should be open
