Einzige UKft die den ganzen Betrag nach der Buchung via Booking.com am 26.7., also 1 1/2 Mte vor stornierbarer Anreise Option der Kreditkarte belastet hat.🙈

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026A place that leaves a lasting impression - for all the right reasons. Eine sehr schöne und ruhige Unterkunft in perfekter Lage für Ausflüge in den Abel-Tasman-Nationalpark. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der großartige Service – wir haben nicht nur wertvolle Tipps für Restaurants und den Abend bekommen, sondern es wurde auch direkt eine Wassertaxi-Tour für uns organisiert und reserviert. Dadurch hatten wir am nächsten Tag eine wirklich tolle und perfekt geplante Unternehmung. Das Apartment war sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr angenehm. Insgesamt eine herausragende Unterkunft – der Abel Tasman ist ohnehin immer eine Reise wert.
Absolutely nothing that detracted from our overall experience – we would happily stay again.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Sehr sauber; man hatte eine eigene kleine Einheit mit Parkplatz direkt neben dem Zimmer. Kleine Teeküche vorhanden mit Toaster, Wasserkocher, French Press, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Geschirr. Alles sehr sauber. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Perfekte Ausgangslage für einen Besuch im Abel Tasman NP. Wassertaxi-Unternehmen gleich nebenan. Für‘s Abendessen können wir das Hooked empfehlen. Es ist in ein paar Minuten fußläufig erreichbar.
Das Waschbecken im Bad war winzig und der Duschkopf fix montiert (ist in NZ leider ziemlich häufig der Fall).

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026Nous y sommes allés pour 2 nuits, nous avons eue l’unité 3 qui est définitivement plus grande que sur les photos et isolée . L’accueil de la propriétaire est exceptionnelle, ces explications pour profiter du parc, de la prise en charge des réservations du bateau taxi pour le lendemain. Le bungalow est très confortable, propre et tout y est pour cuisiner . Une terrasse pour se détendre à l’apéro tout comme le café matinale. Literie super confortable. Belle lumière, aération utile vu qu’il fait chaud le jour, chauffage d’appoint pour la nuit . Café de départ offert. On a adoré ce lieu et les activités possible à faire au parc juste à côté.
Le wifi est très faible.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026The chalet had everything we needed during our stay. Located in a beautiful peaceful and private setting, we could have stayed for longer if we could. Located close to the start of the coastal walk of the Abel Tasman national park and close to the seaside made it ideal for us. We hired kayaks next door which was amazing. Rose was an excellent, kind and friendly host. Her dog Luna was gorgeous.

Our Cabin was 5 mins from ferry/ taxi area and also right at the end of the trail. . So convenient and easy. Rose welcomed us with a big smile and was extremely helpful with recommendations.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Alloggio semplicemente meraviglioso situato di fronte al mare, a 2 minuti di auto dall'ingresso dell'Abel Tasman National Park. L'alloggio è una casetta indipendente, ben riscaldata (abbiamo soggiornato ad ottobre) dotata di tutto il necessario: letto grande e comodo, cucina con tutti gli utensili, bagno privato con doccia con acqua caldissima e ampio parcheggio per l'auto. Proprietaria veramente gentilissima, nei giorni prima del soggiorno si è assicurata di fornirci tutte le indicazioni necessarie e ci ha permesso di effettuare il check in tardivo rispetto all'orario base. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, super consigliato!

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025Het chalet voorziet in alles wat nodig is voor het verblijf. Eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam in het organiseren van de noodzakelijke watertaxivaarten zodat we de wandeling in het Abel Tasman NP konden maken. De ligging is perfect qua uitzicht maar ook het park en de watertaxi.
De eigenaar geeft vooraf al aan dat zij voor de vaarten kan zorgen maar realiseer je dat al in het voorseizoen de boten volgeboekt kunnen zijn. Hier zou nog wel extra aandacht aan besteed kunnen worden om teleurstellingen te voorkomen.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025Such a lovely place to stay in Marahau! The self-contained chalet was very private and had a nice view over the lawn from the covered deck. Good facilities, very comfortable and super clean. Rose was a great host, so friendly and helpful. She kindly allowed us to leave our car for a few days while we walked the Abel Tasman track. Just a short walk to the trailhead and right next to the water taxi office. Would highly recommend this place.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025Die Unterkunft liegt unmittelbar am Eingang des Abel-Tasman-NP‘s. Man kann von hier aus loslaufen, direkt nebenan sind das Wassertaxi und ein Kajakverleih. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt eine Heizung und man kann wunderbar auf der Terrasse sitzen. Rose ist eine äußerst nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin.

Would be much better inside the accommodation if there’s an airconditioning system especially during cold days. Faster way to heat up the room and could also help extract the excess moisture when you cook dinner. It was explained to us by the owner why there’s none at the moment, so it’s fine.

Places to eat out also within ten minutes walk. Very clean and well equipped. Rose very helpful with aqua taxi bookings and local advice. Possible to do laundry here too. It was perfect for us.
