Reviewed Aug 10, 2026The unit was sparkling clean and the bed was super comfy. A warm welcome when I arrived and a supermarket just across the road. Nice and quiet too considering it's on the main road in Mosgiel
The only thing would be perhaps having a mirror in the living/bedroom. If someone is using the bathroom to shower, there is nowhere to do your hair/makeup. Just a suggestion, certainly not a complaint!

Reviewed May 11, 2026It was a good experience staying there . The place is comforting and hygienic cozy rooms. A heater to keep you warm during winters. There is a parking place,a small kitchen to take care of your daily meals and supper. It is situated near the airport and Dunedin city and both these places are easily accessible. It was overall a good experience.
The bathroom shower area is very small and contested to take a bath as you can hardly move as the water comes out of that area.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026The owners are friendly, caring people who went out of their way to welcome us (a group coming to Mosgiel for an event) - they even had the heatpump for when I returned at 9pm - such a blessing. There was a proper wee bottle of milk in the fridge and proper teabags for my evening cuppa. Perfect The motel rooms have been renovated - new carpet, curtains, sofa, bedding. Mine was a studio - perfect for an overnight (or longer). It is on the main road so it was close and safe to walk to BP wildbean for a coffee in the morning, and also to the event we were attending.

Communication. The issue is not that Housekeeping turned off my hearing aid charger at the walI for safety reason (which is not my habit), but that due to their failure to communicate this, without hearing aids I couldn't then hear the meeting I was there to attend.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026공항에서 가까워서 선택했던 숙소입니다. 근처 주유소에서 풀로 주유해서 반납하기에도 문제없었습니다. 가장 편했던 건 도로 건너에 대형마트가 있어서 걸어갔다 올 수 있는 점이었죠.
숙소가 좁고 화장실이 조금 오래된 느낌을 주었어요. 인테리어가 전체적으로 짙은 회색이어서인지 더 좁고 어두운 느낌이었어요. 방들이 사각형 마당가로 배치되어 있는데 우리는 도로쪽으로 배정받아서 창문을 열지 못하는 단점이 있었어요. 4차선 도로여서 밤에 차소리가 좀 거슬렸구요. 다른 나라였다면 예사로 넘길 일이지만 뉴질랜드여서 낯설고 다소 불편한 숙박 경험이었습니다.

Overall the Regency motel was great. Perhaps a suggestion regarding the bathroom,. The use of sachets for shampoo/ conditioner and soap is very out dated. Maybe invest in the pump bottles that can be refilled? The rooms could use abit of colour in the decor. Or refreshed
