Location very good. Walking distance to Taieri Plains Hotel and Restaurant.

Road noise was a little bit of a nuisance but not too bad

I loved the spa bath, had a few while there. Close to family and shops. Very clean and nice.

It did smell like paint but I had the fan on me at night so that took away the smell, that was the only issue I had.

Good location to catch plane at Dunedin airport

everything....except sound on tv was blocked, we are both in our 80s n needed more volumne that we could not get.

the heater was pathetic, condsidering the conditions, snow, rain.. something that had more output would of been great. however we used a spare blanket to cover us while sitting on the couch.

The bright night time light outside the main window. It made the room very light for sleeping. The clear glass door. It is not very private. Maybe some obscure glass in the door would be better.

Tidy comfortable unit. We were able to have a late check-out which was appreciated.

The gardens on entry and around property need a good tidy up. This would make such a difference to the overall look on arrival.

Heating was good along with Sky.

Less traffic noise

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a car brake down and the host was so helpful, allowing us to work on the car well into the afternoon. So very appreciated, thankyou. Highly recommend.

I love how they waited for me to arrive late during check in due to some traffic accident and I was delayed up to 11PM to check in. I really appreciate how accomodating the staff and for that I highly recommended this place.

Grounds could do with a tidy up

This mostel with reasonable price but excellent staying feeling. The room is luxurious and can do the the light cooking. The washing machine + dryer machine total 10 dollars and they will offer you the liquid, which other mostel needs 14 dollars and none washing liquid. Highly recommended to everyone

Old noises jug and microwave. Fan not working in bathroom and light bulb out so room reasonably dark. Very untidy outside and needed a major weed around place

The staff were great. We had an issue and couldn't leave on time. They were fine with us delaying our departure until we had sorted it which meant we were less stressed. This was very much appreciated. Room was quiet, facilities were great

Basically zero wifi connection.

Convenient for our needs. Bikes were stored safely for us. Everything worked. Recycling available. Unit 1 was protected from road noise.

Outside garden/ surrounds were not tidy. Shower (disabled entry) did not have enough fall so the floor got wet, needs a squeegee to manage it please

There was no body wash or shampoo, could tend to cleaning more, mold on walls above shower, skirtings heavy with dust, also curtains could be tidied up as coming off hooks, general monthly extra cleaning is all it takes and maintenance tended to,

well appointed room - comfy bed. Shower had excellent pressure (gas hot water). motel room had everything I needed for my visit. have stayed here previously, and the quality was the same as i remember, will definitely stay again if i need to.

the only thing that i can comment on which wasn't the best was the light outside the door shone in all night as the blinds on the door do not block the light. suggestion to add a curtain for the door and it would be perfect.

Room needed aired before arrival

Misty Mountain is a fantastic place for a family stay, offering pretty much all the amenities you could need for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The property is well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. One of the biggest advantages is its location—just about a 700-metre walk to the town centre, which makes getting around super convenient without needing to rely heavily on transport. We had a really good stay overall and would definitely recommend it to families looking for a comfortable, well-located place to unwind.

Great location, quite maybe UK channel, love that channel.

Maybe the shower, the curtain does not go right round the shower so lots of water around. But apart from that great.

Location was good, Unit was clean. Guy was friendly ish. Parking was good.

Communication was poor, no answered phone calls. No body wash in shower.

The water did come out under the shower door but other than that it was ok.

Prefect place to stop, after leaving queenstown and , heading down to bluff, before the drive back to Christchurch. Friendly host , room was a great size for 2 adults and four teenagers, restaurants and Woolworths walking distance down the road

Bonnie Knights Pros - parking outside your room - reasonably quiet - good size room with comfortable bed, couch and desk with 3 chairs. - kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and 2 burner cooktop - ensuite - guest’s laundry - easy access to Dunedin without the parking and other issues

Cons - The only issue we had was the television. It was raining one evening and the tv kept loosing reception with a message on the screen telling us that due to weather conditions the channel(S) we were watching were unavailable Apart from that - nothing else

The shower was amazing and if you like soft beds it was like sleeping on clouds

Reception took a long phone call in the middle of checking us in. He could have put it on hold for a minute to give us our key - not a big deal but worth thinking about.

The room was outdated, not cleaned thoroughly and was dusty & dirty, needing some attention to its overall condition with the vanity in the bathroom needing repair, the toilet that wouldn't stop flushing and the sky TV was intermittent. The bed felt worn out and overall comfort of this room was there.

I know this isn’t your fault but we had loud neighbours and couldn’t sleep till after 1 in the morning, we had driven 7 hours to get here on Friday, had a massive day Saturday and then a 7 hour drive home not getting home till midnight we really needed our sleep Friday night Could hear every word they were saying and walking around was very loud, maybe the walls are too thin but there really should be someone around to tell people like that to quieten down

It was reasonably central to everything

The bathroom has mould in the grout and in the spa jets. Needed a really good clean. Some bleach would do it wonders

Very comfortable beds .Close to the airport - 15mins . Lovely & quiet.

It was a standard motel experience. Not amazing but nothing bad to report. The room is large. The shower is also big.
