Charming tents and furnitures, very friendly staff and superb food
Personeel was fantastisch!
The desert. We came for the desert. The service was efficient. The guide told us to meet at an agreed time and was there as expected. The dawn camel ride was our highlight.
Nothing
very friendly staff and good food. we did a tour where we went to different places (sand dunes, lake, swimming pool) which was absolutely worth it!! also the sunset quad tour was spectacular!! 100% recommend! 2 nights were perfect!
This camp is quiet far in de desert, something that not every camp can do anymore! Very nice tents, diner and campfire. Very kind people and owner of the camp!

Tutto perfetto esperienza magnifica
Hele lieve host, geweldige plek, weinig last van omliggende kampen.

Unique place! Beautiful, far from the noise of civilisation, clean and staff very friendly and helpful.
Nothing, all good
The owner was very kind helping us out after our car broke down. Absolutely saved the day. Camp is well maintained, good location. Super friendly staff. Nice tents. We would come back.
tolles Wüstencamp, sehr schöne arabisch ausgestattete Zelte, gutes Essen, abends noch Lagerfeuer, Gesang, Tanz

An incredibly wonderful, attentive, friendly, authentic, and funny team at Beldi Camp made our stay in the desert a unique experience. The tents are cozy and comfortable. The food (4-course menu) was cooked with love and was delicious. Special requests (e.g., vegan food) were handled with great care. We also booked a camel ride and a 4x4 tour! It was the right decision to spend two nights at the camp to really capture life in the desert. We will always have fond memories of the camp and the entertaining nights around the campfire with music!
Food and people where great, it’s not in the middle of the dunes, but just on the edge. They are no camps further in, as it’s not allowed anymore.
We had an amazing stay at Beldi camp! The staff were friendly and attentive and went beyond to make our stay one to remember! Dinner was delicious and fresh. The tent was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Camp location is great facing some gorgeous dunes!
Dinner was tasty. We had a lovely evening talking about our cultures. The atmosphere was great. Hosts were very open and friendly.
Lack of fan / or anything cooling as it was incredibly hot.
The camp was so so special! It’s very private with only a few tents, and since it is the last tented camp in the desert it really feels like you’re alone. The common area in the middle is very nice and there are some seating areas that are perfect to relax or watch the sunrise from. We arranged a quad bike tour for sunset which was very well arranged and a perfect addition to the stay. After that we came back for dinner which was the best dinner we had in our entire stay in Morocco. It was my partners birthday, so they also arranged a cake for him and we celebrated together with the staff. Very special stay and wish we would have stayed another day.
Nothing
I specifically chose Beldi camp because it is a bit further away from other camps and appeared to have a location where the dunes could be enjoyed walking directly from camp. It is a special location and we loved every minute! Prior to our stay many travelers warned us that we had scheduled too long a stay in the desert because we stayed 4 nights. I wished we had stayed longer! Achraf, Muha, Ali and the rest of the team at Beldi Camp were so welcoming and kind. They were flexible and helpful in scheduling activities while we were there. They checked in with us several times daily. And they included our 6 year old son in activities and conversation. The tents at Beldi are beautiful and clean. And the food is decadent. We would LOVE to return one day!
Fantastic place. The staff is super lovely and can help with anything. Pick up can easily be arranged. Activities can be booked through the camp. Cozy and comfortable tents and the food was wonderful. Recommended!
Everybody in the camp is extremely nice and do their best to satisfy all the requests. The camp is small, and this is a big advantage compared to other camps that I saw on the way, and in a quite good position, very close to the dunes. The tent is extremely comfortable and very well furnished, with hot shower and very comfortable beds. Dinner and breakfast are good, especially considering that you are on the edge of a desert.
Almost everything was perfect. No W-Lan, but this is for me a plus, if you want to experience the desert. No plug to charge my Samsung phone (this can depend on the phone you are using), luckily my wife saved me, as she had a power bank, otherwise it would have been difficult to take photos the next day...
Super nice staff, everyone was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the views were great! the food in the camp was amazing. And I believe we got a lot for what we payed
The water in the shower was freezing, and with no pressure, it was understandable. It rained and was cloudy, so the solar heaters would not have worked in those conditions.
Boutique size and ambience. Well located relative to the dunes and other camps.
Best Luxury Camp in morocco
Best Luxury camp in merzouga
All good.
Pick up near the main road available (like!), however should be mentioned in the Booking profile.
The food was great and the staff was really nice
It was very entertaining and comfortable. Staff was friendly. They have presented good food and good music.
Staffs are very kind, meals are nice, and room is lovely.
Camel ride
Dinner, breakfast
The staff, the camp details, the surroundings to take a walk around the small dunes, activities, the vegetarian food was great. They even served us birthday cake with the sky watch and even we insisted, they didnt even touch the remaining cake the next day.
Everything was great. Just if you are celiac or have gluten intolerence, take some bread & buscuits with you as it is not easy to find in the city. Thus it is not their fault. And the rooms can be hot during the day but they can organize you tour (with payment) and/or visit hotels (no payment, just you pay for lunch) with pool.
Everything. Exceptional organisation, stunning landscapes, delicious food, beautiful accommodation but most special of all was the hospitality of staff from beginning to end. I can't recommend highly enough.
Nothing
Beautiful place with very nice hosts. The tents are spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the sunrise - unique
It was amazing experince. Staff was lovely and food was delicious.
Fantastic camp, in a quiet part of the desert, food was excellent, camel ride was fun, all went to plan, highly recommend
Not a criticism of this camp but you find out the extras after you book, eg camelride 400 for 2. All camps are the same, this was more than reasonable
Great location. A lot of nice chilling area. Good food and great person Elle. Huge bed and comfortable bathroom
Beautiful camp near the dunes. Great dinner.
We expected other camps to be a little bit further, but it wasn't the case (it was our first time in Erg Chebbi, so maybe that's the case in most of the camps). In winter it gets very cold and the rooms were freezing at night even with extra blankets.
We loved being in the Sahara desert. The views were amazing. Tent was clean and restaurant food was the best we’ve had in Morocco!
We were there at Christmas and I know it’s probably asking too much to have heaters in the room but it was freezing at night time.
Location is not close to other camps
- hot water is almost unavailable for shower (just lukewarm) which is hardly comfortable or enough for 3 ppl - shortage of power sockets - no heater at night inside the camp
Everything about our stay was excellent - location (away from other camps), staff (attentive and informative), food (both dinner and breakfast were excellent) and comfort (very spacious comfortable tent with lots of hot water). The musical entertainment was memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed or stay and will have very happy memories.
Nothing.
The camp is nice and comfortable. The tents are great and the decoration well done. The scenery, in the middle of the dunes, is amazing. However, it is very much built for tourists.. the food -breakfast and dinner- were not really tasty, the activities were overpriced and the communication with the staff limited due to the language barrier. We were also missing a proper welcome and explanation of how the camp works and what it is possible to do during the day.. We recommend this camp but it is good to know in advance that it is a real touristic place that misses a bit of authenticity, charm and Moroccan flavor..
The location away from other camps is very nice. The tents are nice and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was very good as well.
This place is an oasis in the dessert. We really enjoyed our stay there. The tents are cosy and comfortable. We loved the common area which was designed with lots of love. The staff was super nice and very friendly. Food was delicious and we enjoyed our stay.
The staff were very welcoming, informative and engaging during our stay. They ensured that we knew what was happening at all times, especially with our transfers and camel ride. The food was delicious and the entertainment a welcome treat.
The camp was well appointed. Just be aware that the camel ride is run independently and to see the sunset you get driven to an area where the camels and and the ride takes you to approx 200 metres from the campsite
Friendly staff, nice camel ride to see the sunset, beautiful decor in the camp. The dinner was one of the best we had in morocco. Like most of these camps, it is not located in the middle of the dunes, but on the edge. Meaning you will only have the view of the dunes on one side of the camp. However, compared to many other camps, it still has a better location because it's not so close to the main street.
The hardest matress I have ever slept on.
Staff is really helpful and friendly. Accommodation was really comfortable, with hot showers and an amazing bed. They also have a fire at night and sing songs, it was really nice. I am vegan and they made an effort to meet my preferences. Plus they have places where you can lay down to check the stars! Strongly recommend it.
Nothing it was overall really great and romantic:)
We chose Beldi camp because we wanted to stay somewhere smaller, quieter and closer to the sand dunes. This was definitely a camp where you can experience the exquisite peace and quiet, moon and stars and the beauty of the dunes. They have 8 tents but because of the earthquake they had quite a few cancellations despite the earthquake not having affected this area at all. For this reason, we had Beldi camp all to ourselves for the first night. Unfortunately, I arrived with a short-lived stomach upset picked up the day before somewhere else and the staff tried hard to help (even making a 2 hour journey to get me some medication) and repeatedly checking in on me and how I was doing. The small team (Ashraf, Ali, Mustapha1 and Mustapha2) were hardworking, friendly and full of Berber smiles and humour. Ali and the Mustaphas did everything (cooking, cleaning, music etc) so well. A big thank you to them. Highly recommend the 4x4 desert tour too.
The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Stylish and modern design, stands out among other more classic camps. The stuff very communicative and making their best for guests to enjoy their stay.
Nothing
The hospitality was fabulous. The stting in the desert peaceful and serene. The evening meal was delicious, great quality. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Well kept, tidy and clean. They also organized the entertainment for the night with Berber music.
If I did have to point something out, the food was alright. But cant do much about it. The beds were a bit hard for us.
Achraf coordinated with my driver and picked me up by the side of the road after dark to take me to camp. Ali helped me into my tent and gave me the wifi password. The wifi was better here than in Ait Bougemez! The tent was clean and spacious, with a real, flush toilet, sink, and shower. The bed was very firm, but this was good for my bad back. . Achraf was attentive, checking in with me about my camel ride as I stayted 2 nights and wanted to see how my back felt. Achraf was easy to contact through Whatsapp during my stay. Meals were delicious and they catered to my gluten allergy in the beautiful dining room. Each night we had Berber music. During my free day, they provided lunch and that camel I finally requested. We had great ambiance - surrounded by dunes. I could see another campsite in the distance from the dunes, but I was happy that it wasn't a city of tents.
It was a little hot in the afternoon. LOL! Everything was good, but note that despite the luxury, it's not like they have AC or heaters in the room. Achraf mentioned if it got really hot, he could take me to his cousin's hotel where I could use the pool.
It was the farthest camp out, but gave us privacy. The camel ride to camp was a bonus as well as the Berber musicians around the campfire.
Wi-Fi access was spotty.
Staying at this lovely camp was amazing. People working there were extra nice. The tent was wonderful and the whole camp setting is very nice. Breakfast was lovely, being next to sand sunes is also great to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Wish we could stay longer but there were a lot of cities to visit durring our trip.
Very nice small camp in a more remote location. Nice dinner and breakfast. Very comfortable tents and beds. Extremely friendly staff. The transfer from the pick-up location to the camp was very smooth. Great communication regarding pick up location and time.
N/a.
One of the best experience that I got in Morocco. Achraf very helpful and nice, texted with me and explain everything, give to me a lot of advice and option before during and after my stay in Beldi Camp. Staff very nice and funny, the place is amazing and as well the hotel that they have not far away from the camp! The food was delicious the entertainment after the dinner was perfect, all the guy there are very friendly, the tend is so big with beautiful design like in a pictures. All was perfect!
