Reviewed Sep 13, 2026The location was excellent, close to the township. We received a very warm welcome at reception. The room was spacious - a big lounge, dining, kitchen area. The bed was big and extremely comfortable. The pillows were also very good. Although this motel is on a main road it is set well back so the room was very quiet.
The room itself was very dated and in need of refurbishment. However, the good room rate reflected this.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The room was very spacious: it included the actual bedroom and kitchen + living room, so it was very comfortable there. Besides, the manager was super friendly and helpful, and his dog Stirling stole my heart :)
I saw a big cockroach in the bathroom :( But I guess it's something you can expect if you're staying at a motel

It was very very cold It had one small heat pump that even at 30 hardly heated one room little only the hallway bedroom or bathroom. The motel had no investment in insulating any walls nor bedroom or bathroom heating in winter. We were so cold we could not bring ourselves to shower in an icy cold room Although 2 extra bed blankets there were no electric blankets on the bed and you were breathing in ice cold air all night.

- The outside light wasn't working - Hot water cylinder was very loud when trying to get to sleep - (room 8) not sure if this was the main cylinder for all the rooms..? but seemed loud when refilling and heating up. -Bathroom plug didn't fit the basin. -Shower pressure was lacking, might pay to upgrade shower head and water pressure. -No main tv control to be able to have TV on Sleep, only a Sky remote. -The little stove top and plug looked out dated and alittle to close to element. -Only had 1 towel to use for a night shower and morning shower of our stay. -Was a little concerned with the door locks as they would be easy to break open if anyone would want to get in. -Window nettings looked very tried and old, just felt dirty.

The heating was only in the lounge room, we kept the door to the bedroom open to allow for heat to travel in.

Missed the personal touch. TV didn't work and they couldn't fix it. They did offer to change our room but we declined. No milk offered, no room maintenance carried out and the rubbish bin had not been emptied from earlier occupants.

The door to the toilet didn't fully close and couldn't lock. Not an issue just being myself and my partner, but not nice when the air pressure opens the door... There was also a light on outside the room on the first night illimunating the cars. Not a light we could control. It wasa difficult to sleep with it being so bright.

Kamer is iets gedateerd, maar alles werkt naar behoren.
