I didn't take advantage of the pool only because the weather was a bit cool. It is very affordable which in Straford is rare. This was not my first stay here nor will it be my last.
It is a bit far from theaters and shops and does require a car.

They said they would call back but never did. It all worked out, but a phone call, as promised, is a big customer service blunder.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026A fine budget lodging to visit the Stratford Festival, a short drive to theatres and the town center - you definitely need a car as not within walking distance of these locations. Very clean & quiet. A refrigerator, cable TV and good wifi in the room. A microwave would have been nice. Short drive to closest restaurants. Pool area looked pleasant, but I didn't make use of it. With road work a bit tricky to see driveway entrance at night.
No major complaints. A microwave would be nice, but maybe they are concerned about guests making too much mess.

The room itself was nice and clean, however the a/c u it was hard to get the right temperature. The bathroom needs a fan.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026The best thing is that room was very, very clean. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay, it was quiet and just a short way out of town. Check in was easy and there was coffee and banana or choc. loaf, just enough to start the day. I would definitely stay there again.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026The room was clean and we were at the far end of the property so it was very quiet. Have been there when groups congregate on the “sidewalk” and was not so happy after 11 (usually stay there after the 8 PM shows).
A VERY CLEAN room and well maintained. Just wish the shower heads were mounted higher as the shower head is aimed at our chests. We have to lean down to RJ se our hair.

The beds are too firm for my preference. However, they aren't bad enough for me to stop coming back.

The room was recently updated. Tasteful furnishing,a very comfortable bed, great,WiFi and charging station great water oressure. Impeccably clean. Nice size fridge for beverages and snacks. Had,a nice table and twi chairs. One occasdio al chair. Woukd have liked two. Daily room clean servicecwith towel changes. Best deal in Stratford. Delicious free morning coffee and lovely pastries.

Pillows could have been better. One was like a padded rock, other like a folded towel--way too thin. TV selection was quite limited.

The AC was not easy to manage. It was powerful but because of its position relative to the bed the cool circulate well. It would have been more convenient to have a coffee maker in the room. There was coffee in the office but it wasn’t available until 9:30, late for most people.

TV was too small. Could have used a couple more bed pillows but possibly if we had asked we could have got them.

We woke up one morning to no water or electricity, so it was really problematic and frustrating. Administration did not offered any solutions to this situation, so we had to go with our kids to McDonalds to use the washroom, super uncomfortable.

It far exceeded my expectations. The sparkling clean swimming pool and outdoor patio were a nice bonus! The rooms were incredibly quiet. Like a library. The complimentary soaps and shampoos were of good quality.
The TV had limited channel selections. The water pressure in the bathroom could have been a little stronger.

The only thing was that I had booked a room with two beds and when we got there, booking.com had booked a room with one queen size bed so we were able to move. But had to pay $10 more.

Some drapes fell down when we went to open them.
