Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Parking right outside our room. Close to Stratford. Spacious room, beautiful view of red barn and cornfield. Fridge and coffee maker. Comfortable beds, quiet area, good value. Heated pool was a pleasant surprise. Fresh towels upon request.
Two steps up to rooms 107 and 108 are very dangerously slanted and loose; manager did not seem at all concerned when I pointed out that they at least need a warning sign and yellow caution tape. Repeat: very dangerously slanted…. Would have preferred a walk-in shower. Do not like fabric shower curtain. Would have enjoyed a comfortable easy chair.

I personally didn’t care for the dark, muted color of the quilt on the bed. In fact, when I saw the photos online, I was not planning to stay there. However, the ratings were excellent. So, I decided to book at this motel. And, all and all, it worked out pretty well.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Excellent - Everything was spotless the room and the bathroom, impeccable. If we will ever come back to Stratford again we will definitely come back to this Motel. The pool have been so relaxing as well. They also have a BBQ on site for anyone at the hotel to use it. So beautiful place. And also the owners are husband and wife so friendly and so nice. Love it all.
Why the business are closed in Stratford so early especially on the long weekend??? Also on Monday 99% of all the stores were closed, but Wal-Mart, Zhers and Dollar store opened all day, freely, regardless of the long weekend. If this is going like that, Stratford will not be a touristic town anymore. Come on guys, keep the stores open if you want business and tourism!!!! That's ashamed. Thank God that the Motel we stayed in kept us busy with the pool, the little park and the BBQ.

Owners were the friendliest people we have met on our journey from Edmonton. Rooms are comfortable and very clean . This is our second stay and we can’t wait to be back again.

While it's a bit further out of town than I would have preferred a 10 minute drive is not a problem.
