Very disappointed to see that our room was in an old “motel style” room that is not visible from the front area and definitely not shown on the website. Called front desk (using my cell phone) when unable to get any lights to turn on or the phone to work. Was offered another room. Then we were able to turn on the lights but the room phone still did not work. Hot water in bathroom & shower were plentiful but the floor tiles were loose, there is mold in the shower corner, the bathroom door knob needs to be re-attached and the door jams. The bed definitely did not feel wide enough to be a queen size and round table in the room (with 2 chairs) needs to be fixed so it does not wobble.

Friendly staff and was clean

At the price of $400 a night i would expect to sleep in a bed that didnt seem to be 100 yrs old. You could feel the side springs and sunk down in the middle. Everytime you moved you could hear the bed and thought is this bed going to fall apart. Worst sleep ever !!!!

Room had a foul smell as if there was too much moisture and the carpet was not clean. Not at value for money hotel

Our room just seemed like it had seen better days. Very little seating space except for the bed. The TV seemed ancient and the cable was mostly old shows. It sufficed us for a night.

Other parts of this place looked nicer than the room that we were given.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to find. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. We will stay again.

Comfortable bed, good sized shower, clean, quiet. Flo EV DC charger across the street at Cdn Tire which we used. There are two L2 chargers at the hotel but did have time for a slow charge.

We originally booked a king bed room then saw that those rooms did not have AC. Hard to believe. We switched to a queen double bed room. I don't think the bed was a queen although we didn't measure it.

Location was good. The floor was wood laminate instead of carpet. Access was good from the parking space.

Air conditioning was hard to adjust. There were some maintenance issues - e.g. the faucet in the bathroom did not have an aerater.

The bed and pillows were so so comfortable. I have neck and back issues and the bed/pillow can make or break a stay. Both were perfect!!!

I found the shower floor a bit slippery while I was having my shower. I was therefore concerned that there were no grab bars in the shower. When I spoke with the front desk as I was checking out, I was told that some rooms, but not all, had grab bars. I asked why not all? And the reply was that "...some people don't like them!" Sorry, but this is a serious safety item, and too bad if someone doesn't like them: if someone falls in a shower with no grab bars, I think you'll be looking at a large lawsuit! (My opinion - and I'm no lawyer!)

Sheets felt clammy, like they weren’t completely dry when put on. We turned off the AC and that helped

AC made a horrible noise unless it was on high. Room was not great, very old needs a major remodel, smelled like mold. Bathroom needs a deep clean surface was clean but that was it. Shower curtin really needed replaced.

Noisy neighbors — disturbed sleep

It’s location has always been great for what I needed. I have stayed there many times but very disappointed in this stay.

I booked a queen room. Got to my room and realized they weren’t queen beds. I walked down to reception and asked about it and was told that management says that those are queen beds. We stayed for our three day nights stay and at checkout, I mentioned the size of the beds again and the man at the desk said they do have bigger beds. Were you not offered another room to which I said no. Very disappointed in the service I received, especially when I paid for a queen room and got a double instead. Was told I couldn’t be compensated because I had booked through a third-party booking. I visit Stratford often so I guess I’ll find a new place to stay. I have stayed at this establishment many times.

The pool, sauna and gym facilities came in handy for our family of athletic youths. We were permitted to check in early.

I was placed at the very back of the property - when I asked why it's because I used this site to book. When viewing the room under the heater was connection wiring with merets on the floor with wiring - not contained in a junction box - I took pictures to show - if the toilet had flooded it would have been a serious problem . So the room was chilly

When we returned from the game we attended, there was no electricity.

I am a black male and the brown staff, ask if I was a homeless person. Personal item was also stolen from my room.

Pool had towels, sauna worked well. Used cable TV to watch sportsnet cbc.

Early check-in was requested and not made available for our stay, 2 lightbulbs were burnt out in our room. WIFI is not good strength/quality, I had to use my data and turn off WIFI for web searches.

Beds were comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave worked well. Location across the road from the mall and close to various restaurants was perfect for walking.

Wallpaper coming off the walls, cleaning detergent used by cleaners was overpoweringly smelly. Pool area floor needs cleaning.

Beautiful saltwater indoor pool and small sauna, very enjoyable. Large room, great shower. Comfortable bed (soft). Convenient entrances to various hallways from parking areas. Good value. Great location.

I've seen cleaner rooms. Just small details in corners that you don't notice immediately. But you could tell it had been cleaned-moslty. No sound from the interconnecting door (room was occupied) but neighbours on the other side talked loudly until 4 am and walls were less than sound proof. Glad I had ear plugs.

Large comfortable rooms. The pool and sauna made my two days stay a fun trip.

The restaurant was always closed.

We were on the main floor, which meant no stairs. The room was clean and met our expectations.

The coffee maker was beyond annoying. You could make one cup, but it took about 30 minutes for it to cool down to make a second cup. We were lucky to find a big server of coffee in the lobby. The night clerk told was that breakfast was served from 7 - 1, but it didn’t start until 8 am. We found it quite pricey. Next time we will choose Tim’s or McDonalds for a much cheaper choice. We found the tub quite slippery, perhaps another finish on the tub or a shower mat would have been helpful.

I was happy with the customer care, when we asked for something they came in a reasonable time frame . I was also thankful for extending our check out time since we checked in at 10pm the night before which gave us some time to get our thing situated.

The room wasn't as clean as I would of liked. We had to ask for new sheets for one of our beds because they were dirty so they did both beds. I wasn't to pleased with the bathroom, they had peeled seeling and some stains around the perimeter.

Pool was clean. Freshly painted area. New clean carpets. Room had fresh carpets. NEw shower. Huge improvement from 2023 when I swore to never stay there again.

Parking around back. Not safe for single person.prefer to enter from from t desk and have room nearer desk for safety. Long walk to and from pool.

They had a room available due to being stuck in Stratford due to weather.

There was NO heat in the room. Froze all night. Had to ask for more blankets and still froze. Heater wasn’t on when entering the room and it was -40 outside. Heater didn’t even warm up the room.

The reception was great, helpful and very nice.

The experience was very disappointing. The windows didn’t open, and the room had a bad smell from the start. There was no safe, and the bathroom sink gave off a sewage odor. Every 30–60 minutes there was a loud banging sound that woke me up multiple times during the night. Housekeeping never actually cleaned the room or bathroom—only made the bed each morning. The towels were old, overused, and even discolored. I would not recommend staying here.

Stayed at this hotel a few times in the past but quite shocked at how rundown it has become.It wasn’t very busy,.The corridors and rooms had an overwhelming odour.Cleanliness left a lot to be desired.Wall paper hanging off the walls.restaurant was closed,usually included breakfast in the price but paid the same but no food available.Needs a huge renovation.

Location was excellent. Easy to find and come and go from highway and downtown. Room was very comfortable and tidy to relax. People are nice and welcomed.

Room was comfortable but overpriced. quiet setting, we were not disturbed by other patrons I liked that they had coffee and filtered water in the lobby

way overpriced. I asked about getting a lower rate with CAA and / or Choice Hotels card, and they told me "I was given the best rate possible because I booked through Booking.com" My friends who called and booked through front desk paid over $80 LESS than I did!?!?!?! Our other group of friends who booked through booking.com paid $40 LESS than I did !?!?!?! I was very disappointed to hear this, at check-out that they paid so much less than I did, for the exact same rooms! I would like someone to look into that.

Location is very good. Parking is convenient.

The towels were stained from previous users and smelled stale and dirty. The bed's edge felt like a protruding piece of metal frame on the edge; obviously very old mattress. The fitting sheet was wrinkled and looked as it it wasn't changed from the previous usage. The room smelled like tobacco.

The setting and room lication was ideal for my needs. The front desk staff were very accommodating in switching rooms for wedding guests to be closer together.

The lack of attention to cleaning service in the room. After night one, none of the 3 rooms we had booked received attention...no fresh towels, garbage removal, glasses etc. No one showed up despite signs on the doors requesting service. Very disappointing in an otherwise pleasant experience. Restaurant and lounge under construction and closed.
