It s a nice room and instagramable full of everything you need , staf was very nice and helpfull 10/10 for facilities and stuff, big room and confortable beds everytjing you need there but they have a seriuous issue with the moldy walls and mold there!! The hotel should solve the problem with the mold because it s a serious issue for the heath of the tourists.

Moldy walls and mold smell ---this is the only issue but is very important!! I had big expectations for this hotel but it was not quite as i ve expected! This review it s like a signal to solve the issue with the mold , atfer that the stay will be very pleasant.

kamer was trendy ingericht. douche was top! Alleen was het ontbijt saai. Het werd boven gebracht en kon je op je balkon ontbijten. Kamer was schoon en werd elke dag schoongemaakt. Wij hadden een grote kamer met aparte slaapkamer (2kamer app) Elife de receptioniste, was erg aardig en attent en deed haar best het ons zo veel mogelijk naar ons zin te maken

Ontbijt was saai. Werd op je kamer gebracht. Je kreeg een gewoon ontbijt met een gekookt of gebakken ei maar geen keuze mogelijkheid, geen vers sinaasappelsap en de tosti was taai, de koffie was ook niet echt warm. Parkeren viel tegen. Ze geven aan dat je kan parkeren, maar je moet geluk hebben als er een plekje vrij is op een braak liggend stuk grond aan het einde van de straat. Het was dicht bij de centrum, maar alles is zo dicht op elkaar gebouwd met erg smalle straatjes en niet afgebouwde woningen.

Een hele gezellige en leuke gastvrouw die ons heeft ontvangen. Ze vertelde veel over het eiland en wat we het beste wel of niet konden gaan doen. De locatie was perfect! We konden overal makkelijk naar toe lopen. Het zwembad op het dak was ook echt fantastisch!

L’emplacement de l’établissement est top, très accessible à pied pour les restaurants. Le petit déjeuné était servi en chambre et il était très copieux. Le personnel est très gentil et de bons conseils (location quad, restaurants etc..) Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

El desayuno y la cama

Un lugar idílico para pasar unos días en Naxos. Éramos un grupo de 8 e hicimos dos reservas. Las habitaciones eran impresionantes y la piscina en la azotea era increíble. Elife, su recepcionista, era un encanto. Siempre estaba disponible y nos ayudó en todo cuanto necesitamos.

El alojamiento está un poco alejado del centro, pero no supone ningún problema porque te permite dar un paseo por las preciosas calles de Naxos.

Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement qui est proche du centre . La piscine sur le toit est appréciable cette petite mais suffisante. La design intérieur des chambres .

La vue sur un bâtiment désaffecté c’est dommage ! Ça gâche un peu la note !

Struttura molto bella e pulita. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Posizione ottima, lontana dal caos, ma in 15m a piedi si raggiunge comodamente il centro.

The room was always clean and spacious and the receptionist was friendly and helpful, We liked the swimming pool on the roof even though we did not find the time to spend time there as Naxos is a big island and we wanted to explore it.

The only thing we did not like is that the hotel is a bit far (not very far but not that close-from chora (centre) you cannot go there by car as there are not enough parking places. Also there is no sufficient parking for the rented cars at the hotel. Another thing we did not like is that suppliers were blocking the entrance....we had to wait for them to move their cars so as to leave with our own rented car. That was our only problem. The rest were fine.

The staff was very pleasant and eager to help, cleanliness was superb and the hotel's location was at a good spot.

WiFi didn't work at all. Mobile reception is also blocked on the rooms, and because wifi was not working, wifi calling was also not available. Staying on the second floor without an elevator and a small child was exhausting in carrying things up and down the floors, plus the beach equipment.

La struttura è comoda e ben tenuta, con ambienti puliti e una stanza confortevole. La posizione è davvero eccellente: tranquilla, strategica e ideale per raggiungere facilmente qualsiasi punto dell’isola. Un’ottima soluzione per chi desidera muoversi in modo pratico senza rinunciare alla quiete e al relax.

La colazione non è particolarmente varia né ben fornita. La qualità del cibo è discreta, ma la scelta dei prodotti e dei pasti risulta piuttosto limitata. Abbiamo persino dovuto chiedere di aggiungere della frutta, poiché consumare le stesse pietanze ogni mattina, per diversi giorni consecutivi, diventa alla lunga monotono e poco piacevole.

Ήταν όλα καθαρά και η κοπέλα στη ρεσεψιόν εξυπηρετικότατη. Αν και φτάσαμε 2 το βράδυ περίμενε να μας ανοίξει. Ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν μας βοηθούσαν αμέσως. Το δωμάτιο ήταν όμορφο και προσεγμένο.

Το γεγονός ότι ενώ αναφέρεται ότι έχει θέση στάθμευσης αυτή ουσιαστικά είναι σε αλάνες του δήμου με αποτέλεσμα να ψάχνεις να βρεις που θα το βάλεις ορισμένες φορές. Είναι βέβαια τακτική των δωματίων της περιοχής δεν είναι μόνο στο συγκεκριμένο γιατί όλα λένε πως έχουν κι όλα εννοούν σε δημοτικούς χώρους. Υπάρχει βέβαια ένα ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ απο κάτω αλλά ήθελε 25 ευρώ τη βραδιά, οπότε αν πάρετε αυτοκίνητο προσοχή. Θα προτιμούσα να μην έλεγε κανένα κατάλυμα για θέση στάθμευσης εφόσον αυτές δεν υπάρχουν.

Facilities were very good, very comfortable stay. The breakfast served inside the room was definitely a highlight.

It wasn’t so easy to find it, a signage could make it easier.

The property was so clean, new, roof top pool was so nice, staff were so welcoming and friendly, Elife the receptionist was so helpful and friendly Antonella the housekeeper was just a lovely lady, always greeting us, very friendly and so passionate with her work

I couldn’t fault anything to be honest it was clean, nice new place and funky Just the position of the hotel was a bit hard to find for the narrow streets around but once found and parking it was easy.

The receptionist was excellent and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The room had a beautiful and tasteful decoration.

Unfortunately, despite the attractive decoration, the room did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price we paid. The property looks nice at first sight, but it is clear that many of the materials and fixtures are of rather low quality. Several things inside the room had already started to deteriorate, which was disappointing for a relatively modern property. The biggest issue for us was the complete lack of privacy in the bathroom. Almost the entire bathroom was made of glass and was directly visible from the bed. The shower, the sink and, most importantly, the toilet were all exposed and visible from the sleeping area. There was essentially no private bathroom space at all, which we found extremely uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also not provided on a daily basis during our stay, and the soundproofing was quite poor, so noise from outside and neighbouring rooms could be heard easily. Overall, while the staff and location were very good, we feel that the quality, privacy and maintenance of the room do not justify the price of the stay.

La habitación muy moderna y cómoda. El trato de la recepcionista (Elife) muy bien. La habitación tenia nevera y cafetera. La piscina de la azotea muy bien y accesible todo el dia. La ubicación es buena, zona muy tranquila, a unos 12 minutos de Chora y a 20 de la parada de autobús en el puerto.

No hay recepción 24h. El wifi a veces fallaba un poco.

Manque de chaise longue pour la piscine. Manque de variété du petit déjeuner même s'il était convenable et WiFi plus que médiocre.

Our family loved the accommodations and location was close to several bakeries and public bus to several beaches! The roof top pool was excellent for cooling off after site seeing. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Helpful in keeping things clean and safe for guests.

The rooms are renovated and feel modern, the rooftop pool was always a nice final stop after a day at the beach, there's no reserved parking but we had no issues finding public parking nearby every time, free breakfast, the accommodation is also at walking distance to Chora (main town) as well as the Portara. The staff was super helpful and always fast responding through WhatsApp. Overall a great value for money stay in Naxos!

Breakfast is not a buffet, it's served in your room from 8-9:30am, so it makes it a bit less flexible. However, we arranged the time with the staff and they were always on time to bring it.

Ηταν ολα υπέροχα! Η ιδιοκτήτρια φιλική κ μας πρότεινε κ μαγαζιά για φαγητο/ποτο. Το δωμάτιο ηταν καθαρό κ ειχε τα πάντα, ακόμα κ απλώστρα. Ωραιο πρωινό που στο φέρνουν στο δωμάτιο.

Με τα πόδια ηταν ενα 20λεπτο απο το κέντρο,παρόλα αυτά ηταν βατό. Όσο για τη θέα παμω στην πισίνα ηταν πολυ ωραια αλλα δυστυχώς το δωμάτιο μας έβλεπε ενα κτίριο που ηταν στα μπετά. Παρόλα αυτά συνολικά άξιζε σαν δωμάτιο κ θα το ξαναεπισκεφτομουν.

La struttura è molto bella, pulita e curata, il personale è sempre stato gentile e disponibile durante il soggiorno. Per questo motivo mi dispiace dover esprimere una nota negativa. Comprendo perfettamente la politica della tariffa non rimborsabile e non metto in discussione le condizioni della prenotazione. Tuttavia, a causa di una gravissima emergenza familiare, sono stata costretta a interrompere il soggiorno dopo una sola notte su otto prenotate. Non mi aspettavo necessariamente un rimborso completo, ma almeno un piccolo gesto di comprensione, come un voucher, un credito per un futuro soggiorno o qualsiasi altra proposta. Purtroppo non è stata offerta alcuna soluzione, e questo mi ha lasciata profondamente delusa. La qualità della struttura resta indiscutibile, ma credo che l’attenzione verso il cliente si misuri anche nella gestione di situazioni eccezionali.

Justo en frente de la terraza hay una casa en obras que tiene pinta de abandono. Estaba algo alejada del centro.

Hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold på dette hotellet. Personalet var alltid vennlige, imøtekommende og hjelpsomme. Rommet var rent, komfortabelt og godt vedlikeholdt under hele oppholdet. Et av høydepunktene var bassenget på takterrassen, som var et perfekt sted å slappe av etter en dag med å utforske Naxos. Hotellet har en rolig og behagelig atmosfære, og alt var rent og velstelt. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake og kan varmt anbefale hotellet til alle som besøker Naxos.

Et lite forbedringspunkt er bassengområdet på takterrassen. Dette er en av hotellets store styrker og et område med stort potensial. Med litt bedre vedlikehold, hyppigere rengjøring og parasoller ville opplevelsen blitt enda bedre. Det er et flott sted å slappe av, og med noen små forbedringer kan det bli et enda sterkere salgsargument for hotellet.

Bonito, nuevo y cómodo. Elife es encantadora y facilita la estancia. La piscina en la azotea es un plus.

Truly a wonderful stay! It is such good value for money, with breakfast brought to your door every morning (around 8:30am), a beautiful rooftop pool and walking distance to everything you could possibly need. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Temple of Apollo, which was totally doable and enjoyable. Otherwise, it’s about 10 minutes into the main shopping strip & about 10-15 minutes walk to the beach down beautiful Greek streets. These are not difficult walks at all and are actually quite nice to explore the streets and of course, meet some (largely friendly) cats. The receptionist Elife was so welcoming and lovely, provided recommendations and was always up for a chat which was hugely appreciated as a solo traveller. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Everything was absolutely exceptional so I wouldn’t say these are ‘dislikes’ but things to consider - I believe most rooms have a bathroom that has fully glass walls (as I was staying alone, this was no issue to me) and the room didn’t have a DND sign for the door or a latch; no issue except for the first day, when breakfast was brought into my room while I was in the shower and I got a bit of a fright. Once I had figured out what time breakfast would be served, I avoided using the bathroom/getting dressed around this time so I could answer the door.

Nous avons apprécié le design de la chambre. La réceptionniste était sympathique et serviable.

Les matelas n’étaient pas très confortables. La terrasse n’était aménagée que pour 2 personnes (une petite table et deux chaises) alors que la chambre est pour 4. Les capsules de café n’étaient fournies que pour 2. Nous avons dû en réclamer pour 4, ce qui dérangeait visiblement la dame qui faisait le ménage. Il n’y a pas de parasol au bord de la piscine sur le toit. Ce serait un plus, assurément.

I had a lovely stay at Ampelos, the staff are very welcoming and communicative about anything you need, and there was loads of privacy which I appreciated. They also let me have early check-in which was very helpful considering I had a long travel. The room was gorgeous and everything up to a very high standard. The 24/7 rooftop swimming pool with sunbeds was also a perfect addition!

I didn't find anything I didn't like! The only thing to be aware of is it's a 15 minute walk from the main town if you don't want to do much walking.

Heel mooi hotel net buiten het centrum van Chora. Is maar 15 minuten wandelen. Heel mooie, super nette kamer en badkamer. Lekker ontbijt dat op de kamer werd gebracht. En dan is er nog Elife! De immer enthousiaste dame die zorgt voor het onthaal! Ze is fantastisch! Lijkt wat afgelegen, maar geen seconde een onveilig gevoel gehad als alleenreizende.

Sehr schönes und kleines Hotel mit individuell eingerichteten Zimmern. Alles ist sehr neu und sauber. Auf dem Dach befindet sich ein kleiner Pool, mit tollem Blick über die Insel. Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht und ist vollkommen ausreichend.

Hotel ist etwas schwierig zu finden, da etwas abgelegen.

Nos encantó el servicio de desayuno al cuarto, sin embargo el menú puede mejorar. La amabilidad del personal y las instalaciones de la habitación. La cama y las almohadas en verdad lo mas cómodo.

Todo durante la estancia fue perfecto pero en nuestra última noche cuando llegamos a la habitación no teníamos toallas y tuvimos que usar las de la piscina. Al nuestra habitación haber estado debajo de la piscina el ultimo dia al parecer le dieron mantenimiento y había demasiado ruido que era un poco difícil poder conciliar el sueño. Pero fuera de eso en general fue muy bueno.

Πραγματικά, η απόσταση από το κέντρο της Νάξου είναι 20 λεπτά με τα πόδια. Ο δρόμος φαίνεται ατελείωτος, ειδικά με τη ζέστη και τις αποσκευές. Επίσης, η καθαριότητα ήταν απογοητευτική. Μας έφεραν τα σεντόνια και χρειάστηκε να στρώσουμε μόνοι μας το κρεβάτι, κάτι που δεν θεωρώ αποδεκτό για κατάλυμα φιλοξενίας. Η αγένεια του προσωπικού έκανε την εμπειρία ακόμη χειρότερη. Δυστυχώς δεν θα το επέλεγα ξανά και δεν το συστήνω.

Warning - Black Mold! So we have tried multiple times to contact the hotel & have not had one response... We had booked a 3 bedroom unit since we were traveling as a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids). Reception messaged us about when we were going to arrive so when we arrived, there was someone at reception who was very nice & let us leave our luggage there until the room was ready. They messaged us a little later and I had gone back to get the key. The unit was nice but realized that it was only 2 bedrooms - we tried multiple times to contact staff to ask if we were in the right unit since we had booked a 3 bedroom & the listing shows 3 bedrooms as well. We stopped by reception multiple times but no one was ever there, as well as messaging via WhatsApp and Booking.com with no response. Also the doorknob had fallen off the front door on the inside so every time we wanted to open or close it we had to grab it from on top of the fridge (where we kept it so the kids didn't lose it). My parents had stayed in the room on the second floor and we stayed in basement bedroom with the 3 twin beds & a crib which was against the wall/locked door that we just figured was storage since it was locked and against the wall. However, the last night we were there, we found a key hidden behind the safe on the shelf & tried it on the locked room downstairs ... It was the third bedroom and it was COVERED in black mold. Not only did they give us a '2 bedroom unit' when we booked a three bedroom, they also knew that this room was covered in black mold and let us stay here (not to mention my 18 month old who was sleeping next to the door has respiratory issues). After finding this out, we reached out again multiple times and still no response... The location was nice & the rooftop pool was great but honestly a place that knowingly allows its guests to stay in a place that is covered in black mold (especially with kids) is not okay.

Very accommodating after a mix-up with booking dates and a beautiful room allocated. Facilities perfect and only a 10 minute stroll down to the port. Thank you guys so much 🙏🏼

Pickup from the port was easy and they also organised a car rental for us. Thanks Dimitri and team for the pleasant stay! Apartment was clean and the bathroom was exceptional for Greece.

Ampelos Cassart was a lovely place to stay for a couple. Close enough to the old centre to walk in 20 minutes but far enough to be quiet. The breakfast provided was an added bonus. Pick up was organised from the port for 10 euro which helped when you are dragging suitcases. Dimitri our driver was very informative.

Second time I've stayed there and I love it. It's a gentle walk into town, quiet at night, with well-designed rooms and lovely facilities. All the staff I met were truly lovely. The plunge pool and roof terrace are perfect for a hot day.

The location was very good. It was with in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We felt comfortable parking our rental van at the property and we walked everywhere we needed to go. We rented two rooms and they were very clean and comfortable. The kitchens were small but very adequate for our use, and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very informative and helpful and made sure we were checked in and comfortable.

I may have misread the listing, but I thought that we were booking a house, but this is more of a hotel. One room was a bit of a distance from the other. This was fine for us as we were traveling with adult children, but if you are booking two rooms together, be sure to specify that to the host in order to get the rooms next door to each other.

Very clean and cozy room, with a really nice pool on the roof with a view on the mountains. The staff was very friendly and gave a lot of suggestions where to go and where to eat :) A small walk and all the shops, restaurants and cafes are nearby. Highly recommended! :)
