Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Très bon accueil. Nous avons pu choisir notre chambre car plusieurs étaient libres. Parking sur place. Établissement situé au calme. Pour la restauration nous devons prendre la voiture car établissement à l'écart de la ville, mais à 1km environ super pub restau avec musique irlandaise. Bon petit déjeuner copieux.

I didn’t realize how far the property was to Doolin center. We didn’t have a car so needed to hire someone to take us up and back each day after we spent the day touring. That was no fault of the property- just poor planning on my part.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Weit vom Zentrum, da ich ohne Auto unterwegs war. Bettwäsche synthetisch und unangenehm. Badezimmer sauber. Kaffee/Teeecke nicht sauber. Zuvorkommend 2 Flaschen Wasser. Treppe ohne Lift, Koffer muss über schmale Treppen hinauf getragen werden. Frühstück ganz ok. Hausherrin freundlich.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Der familiäre Empfang und die Freundlichkeit. Man hatte den Eindruck einer wunderbaren, fast schon einer mütterlichen Versorgung. Besser kann man sich nicht um seine Besucher kümmern. Der Abschied von Maria, der Unterkunftgeberin, ist uns schwer gefallen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.
Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß aber auf jeden Fall ausreichend. Wir waren eigentlich nur zum Schlafen im Zimmer.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Wonderful welcome upon arriving. We came with dogs and they were made feel really welcome. It is really nice and quiet, far enough from Doolin that you didn't get the noise of it but close enough that its a short spin down the road.
We couldn't stay longer unfortunately.

I wish I had taken more photos of the property because it was beautiful! We were so delighted by Teddy, the friendly cat who came to visit through our window, that I completely forgot to take pictures of everything else. We'll definitely have to do that on our next stay!
Nothing. The only reason we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast was because we had to leave very, very early to catch our flight, which was due to our travel schedule, not the property. We look forward to staying longer on our next visit.

There was a nice sitting area outside our room where we could sit and have a cup of coffee or tea, which was provided in the rooms. Our hostess was welcoming and recommended the local pub for a pint, food and traditional music. Breakfast was made to order, plentiful and very good.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

The house is a little messy outside which makes a poor first impression which is unfortunate because once inside everything was clean and nice. The host's recent health issues may have hindered her ability to keep up with the outside appearance.

Anders als in der Broschüre auf dem Zimmer angegeben gab es in unserem Bad keine handgemachten, lokalen Seifen, sondern Flüssigseife vom Discounter, auch als Duschgel. Beim Frühstück war auf unserem Vorbestellungszettel die Auswahl eingeschränkt, Full Irish Breakfast stand für uns nicht zur Verfügung, wurde jedoch anderen Gästen serviert. Ein bisschen fühlt man sich dann vielleicht schon als Gast zweiter Klasse, auch wenn die hier trotzdem recht hoch angesiedelt ist.

The outside of the house needs a lot of work, and the driveway up to the house had us worried, as first impressions were not good. The lady who is lovely needs someone to maintain the grounds. Thank you
