Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Wir hatten vor unserem Aufenthalt die Bewertungen gelesen und waren etwas skeptisch. Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln. Gegen Abend schrieb uns der Besitzer wann wir einchecken würden und erklärte uns wo genau wir den Eingang finden. Die Zimmer waren sauber, mit eigenem Waschbecken. Wir haben spontan nochmal um 2 Nächte verlängert. Da unser Zimmer von anderen Gästen reserviert war, durften wir für den gleichen Preis in ein Zimmer für 3 Personen ziehen, in dem wir sogar eine eigene Dusche hatten. Der Besitzer war immer hilfsbereit, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle mit Geschirr stehen zur freien Verfügung. Die Lage mitten in der Innenstadt ist super. Wir haben eine sehr gute Erfahrung gemacht und würden wiederkommen!
Es gab nur wenige Steckdosen pro Zimmer, die nicht optimal platziert waren und im oberen Badezimmer ließ sich der Riegel nicht so leicht schließen (ging aber). Kleinigkeiten

L équipement ++++ nous étions à deux et nous avons eu une chambre très très petite sans armoire, ni espace de rangement sauf les tables de nuit qui sont très petites. Et les sanitaires c est un enfer toujours salle, pas de papier

Qualche suggerimento: 1)sostituire tenda doccia 2)visto la quantità di ospiti sarebbe opportuno sostituire il frigorifero con uno più capiente 3)non mi e' piaciuto il pannello attaccato alla porta della stanza, si potrebbe sostituirlo con carta adesiva (scura) per vetri 4) si sente la mancanza di punti di appoggio in camera , basterebbe una mensola o comunque qualcosa dove poter sistemare le proprie cose

que haya edificios en ese estado que aún el gobierno portugués permita que sean destinados al turismo es lamentable. La casa podría tener 60 años sin reformar, no había casi ni enchufes en la habitación, tan solo 2, camas y mobiliario de cuando se inauguró y todo así, los baños de pena con aspecto insalubre y en general todo como lo estoy describiendo.

In ogni caso non ho mai trovato fila in quanto sono presenti 2 bagni in ogni corridoio. Posizione centralissima e vicina alla stazione dei treni/autobus. È presente una cucina ad uso comune con frigo e microonde.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Wir hatten schonmal zwei Nächte im Caravela verbracht und wollten auf unserer Heimreise nichts Neues suchen, da es uns beim ersten Mal gut gefallen hatte. Besonders die Lage direkt in der Innenstadt war für uns als 25-jährige Freunde ideal - da man direkt dort ist wo was los ist. Dies kann jedoch auch für manche als störend empfunden werden, insbesondere da das Fenster auf die Straße mit Livemusik zeigt. Es gab einen Ventilator im Raum für heiße Tage. Außerdem gibt es eine Dachterrasse, die jeder Gast nutzen darf. Das Personal war auch sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend, sie gaben uns Tipps für unsere Wanderung des Fishermans Trail. Wir durften bis 15 Uhr am Abreisetag unser Gepäck lagern (Checkout war am Vormittag).

The property is very rundown and tired. Basically, all you’re getting is a room with a bed and a basin with a shared bathroom. The tiles on our floor were coming up and toilet didn’t flush very well. The shower was hand held over a bath. The kitchen provided was minimal. Despite all of this we had a great time because we weren’t in the room much. The doors to the private residence slam quite a bit.

Shared bathroom was easily accessible. Signs requesting that guests observe quietness after 11pm. A lovely lovely reception from charming family member who own guest house. Thankfully made provision for parking bicycle. Albeit involving negotiating flight of stairs. Incredible value for money.
Everything was 5* for me most particularly the charming, delightful and very helpful young lady receptionist

Hay buena frecuencia de limpieza de baños compartidos y de las instalaciones (supongo que dependerá de los usuarios que ayuden a mantener). Es viejo con sensación de limpieza. La habitación es para ir a dormir y descansar, tiene zonas comunes para tomar un café está bien.
Los pestillos, puertas y ventanas están muy viejas y cuesta cerrar y abrir.

struttura molto fatiscente, cucina con solo il frigo, camere vecchie, piccole e un po' scomode. bagni talmente vecchi da sembrare sporchissimi. le camere danno un androne centrale dove senti cosa succede nel patio sottostante, nel tetto terrazzato e soprattutto nelle camere altrui.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Trata se de um prédio muito antigo , o que não seria mau se cumprisse os requisitos... as portas das casas banho e dos quartos em mau estado com trancas obsoletas e com faltas de madeira. Alcatifa no corredor bastante degradada e com falta de tacos por baixo , o que se torna perigoso para quem vá um pouco distraído. O espaço precusa de obras urgentes. A localização é fantástica. Mas não irei voltar.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026The room was a shared bathroom but we had a wash basin and a small shower which was a real bonus. The location is perfect for a night or two in Lagos and couldn't be more central. There was a fan provided which was great too. Overall the room was very comfortable and clean. The two staff members we met were great and really friendly. I would certainly book again for a short stay in central Lagos.
At the price paid absolutely nothing - great over night stay.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Posizione centralissima a Lagos, notevolissima. E c'è comunque parcheggio gratis a circa 10 min. a piedi. Host gentile e disponibile. Se lo trovi a max 25 eur a testa a notte puoi comunque valutarlo, sopra no.
Realisticamente puoi andare solo con amici e non con una compagna. Struttura "vissuta". Pulizia della stanza poca (c'era una moquette che aveva circa 3000 anni), wc in comune tra varie stanze, punto cucina mediocre.

Am Gemeinschaftsbalkon ist Rauchen erlaubt. Mein Fenster ging auf den Balkon => musste den Vorhang zuziehen, damit niemand reinschaut und konnte das Fenster nicht öffnen, wenn abends die Raucher gemütlich am Balkon saßen, weil sonst das ganze Zimmer nach Rauch gestunken hat.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Alles von der Ausstattung bis die Lage war wirklich top Preis- Leistung. Ich glaube besser konnte ich nicht treffen.sehr nettes Personal.
Etwas doof war dass man die Unterkunft nicht so richtig erreichen konnte. Erstmal mit der Zug Verspätung hatte ich Probleme aber das wurde relativ schnell geklärt. Das zweite stand ich eine Nacht 2 Stunden vor der Unterkunft weil ich meinen Bruder nicht wecken konnte ( sein Handy war auf lautlos) und auf die angegebene Nummer der Unterkunft war wieder keiner zu erreichen. Irgendwann ist ein Mädchen wach geworden und hab es um Hilfe gebeten. Ein zweiter Schlüssel wäre schon von Vorteil oder eben solche Schlüssel Box wie bei Portugieselement wäre ganz toll dass man wenigstens rein kann:)

Nao posso pagar um preço de hostel e querer encontrar um hotel 5 estrelas. Limpo, roupa de cama e banho limpas, banheiros limpos todas as vezes q usei, nao tinha bagunça nos corredores nem barulho, exceto de pássaros qdo amanhece. Perfeito, indico.
Nao tinha pia na cozinha e fogão na cozinha, mas pra mim nao foi problema pois nao fui pra cozinhar... mas talvez se tivesse ajudaria a todos. Mas nao foi problema pra mim. Tinha geladeira, micro-ondas, chaleira eletrica.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026Don't expect anything fancy, but if you're okay with a basic small room with a bed, a chair and a basin, you'll feel comfortable here. The pictures of the property are accurate - the interior is quite old, but clean. The rooms are very-very small (not a complaint, just an observation). There was just one toilet and shower for the whole corridor, it might get crowded during high season. The walls were very thin, so earplugs are recommended. Otherwise the house (a traditional Portuguese one, I guess) had a nice authentic atmosphere, the inner terrace was charming and the rooftop terrace offered beautiful views. The central location is unbeatable - the street is very touristy and loud, but my room was facing the inner terrace instead so it was nice and quiet in there (except for neigbors being noisy at times).

I wanted to use the closet to put my stuff in there but when I tried to open it the whole door fell out of the closet. The conditions were old, it needs a little make over.

Sehr kleines Zimmer. Fenster zum Innenhof. Sehr warm, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Sehr beengt- man schaut direkt in die geöffneten Fenster der mit Mitbewohner. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder sehr vernachlässigt. Alte Badematte in der Badewanne.
