Reviewed Sep 15, 2026We were warmly welcomed by Mary into her lovely home. When we arrived we were offered tea /coffee and cake. This was very welcome after a long journey. Breakfast included freshly prepared fruit, yogurts,cereals,smoked salmon,ham etc. A selection of brown bread and freshly baked scones were served each morning which were delicious. We had a very comfortable stay, Mary was a very generous and gracious host who went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in her welcoming and lovely home.
Nothing comes to mind. A car is needed to get to the location but that was not an issue for us.

Landlady Mary is lovely and friendly and her continental breakfast with home made muffins, scones and bread (alongside FRESH fruit salad, smoked salmon, cheeses, ham, cereal and umpteen yoghurts) has to be seen to be believed! We stayed in the triple room (double and single bed) and it was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a good sized en-suite shower. You do need to have transport, but with a hire car you’re just 15 minutes from Doolin or Lahinch. If we were to visit County Clare again, we’d definitely rebook. Thank you Mary

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026We absolutely loved staying at Lahinch View. Mary is so warm and welcoming, we felt as if we had known her for years. She gave us suggestions for places to visit in the area, and prepared delicious breakfasts every morning. Her scones and brown bread are delicious.The location is in the countryside, surrounded by rolling green hills and horses, with a view of the sea in the distance. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Una colazione superlativa, con vera spremuta d'arancia, torta, scones, torta, macedonia... camera pulitissima, lenzuola bellissime e curate. Un'attenzione non comune. Das 3-Bettzimmer ist so klein, dass man keine zwei Koffer gleichzeitig öffnen kann. Ein Koffer auf dem 3. Bett wird nicht geduldet. Matratzen teilweise mit Plastikfolie geschützt, worauf man sehr schwitzt.

Reviewed May 28, 2026De gastvrouw, die je heel leuk begeleidt tijdens het verblijf met tips over de omgeving en andere dingen. Verder hebben we heel leuke gesprekken gehad over van alles en nog wat. Het ontbijt was keurig geregeld en lekker. Alles wat we misten konden we vragen.

Le petit dej. préparé par Mary est savoureux, servi dès 8h00 (très pratique) : fruits frais, orange pressée, scones maison Notre chambre n° 2 (et sa SdB) est petite (Vue sur la campagne) mais calme et bonne literie. L’accès permanent à la salle à manger (merci Mary pour l’usage de votre micro-onde) et au salon rend le séjour très agréable. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits et visité la région de Doolin (falaises, îles d’Aran…).

La proprietaria è stata molto cordiale, disponibile e gentile durante tutto il soggiorno, facendoci sentire subito a casa. Atmosfera tranquilla e piacevole, consigliato a chi cerca relax e una posizione comoda per visitare le Cliffs of Moher.

Homemade scones and bread with cut up mixed fruit, yogurt and fresh brewed coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast. Early check in was provided to accommodate us.
My wife and I enjoyed everything but the weather while we were there!

Maybe having a second pillow/person would be great but it's just a personal preference and nothing ruining the experience.

Posizione comunque comoda per raggiungere Doolin e la partenza del traghetto per le isole Aran. Ambiente semplice ma accogliente e pulito. La signora che lo gestisce è di una gentilezza squisita e per la colazione prepara degli scones buonissimi. Noi ci siamo stati due notti e ci siamo sentiti coccolati e ben accolti. Consigliato !

I hadn’t mentioned I was gluten free beforehand, and when she found out she baked me a special batch of scones! Amazing. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice included. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved looking out of window to see the cows. It was so relaxing and great to be able to use the dining area and lounge room to relax. Beautiful location and close to Cliffs of Moher and Doolin. Loved everything but especially Mary!

Pulizia eccellente, lo stile delle camere davvero carino; ma il meglio del meglio è la signora che gestisce la struttura (credo si chiami Mary, spero sia giusto): gentilissima, materna e davvero dolcissima! Prepara ogni mattina la colazione personalmente e fa degli scones deliziosi! Il posto è meraviglioso già di per sé, ma la signora Mary da sola vale il viaggio ❤️

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025This was a perfect accommodation. We needed a quiet place, away from the busy towns and Lahinch View was exactly that. It was perfectly located for our trips to Cliffs of Moher and Burren. The property was extremely clean and we liked the idea that there was a common room with access to wi-fi and comfortable armchairs where we could relax and do some bookings in the area or chat with other guests. The host was very friendly and we felt very much like at home. She offerred a lot of useful advice about sight-seeing local attractions. Breakfasts were very generous and super healthy with home-made bread, scones and fresh orange juice.
The only small disadvantage was that our room was rather small. But we spent most of the time outdoors and in common room.

A mine of information on just about everything.:-where the best traditional Irish music is to be found locally, transport options including a free hop on hop off bus joining nearby coastal towns and the Cliffs of Moher, other attractions worth visiting etc Nothing was too much trouble for her. The house is very comfortable, the continental breakfasts were delicious with home made bread and scones and the bed very comfortable. Beautiful views over the countryside. I thoroughly recommend Lahinch View
