The kitchen, although well stocked, lacked cooking knives. There was a slight musty smell in the cupboards also.

The place was clean and the hosts even made the "bed" in the living room, as we were 5 so one of us was going to use the sofa bed but I did not expect the sofa bed to be made. There was tea and coffee in the house too. I would totally book the place again when I need.

Mattresses could use a replacement. The TV is very tiny and high up on the wall so it was awkward to watch it. We moved the futon closer so we could see it after a long day out and about.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2025Amazing house big enough to comfortably fit 4 adults. The location was great within 10 minutes driving distance to the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin city center and Doolin pier. The home had every facility that you can imagine, a huge kitchen fully stocked with utensils and many breakfast items, 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Even the bathrooms were fully stocked with all amenities. There were additional interesting books and games in the spacious living room. Very peaceful location and I wish we had stayed more nights. Definitely recommend.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2024We had a nice stay at Hill View house. The host was very responsive. The location was perfect for us. It was very close to Cliffs of Moher and a short ride to the pubs with traditional Irish music. We had a nice time. Also you could see lots of star at night.
The only thing that would have made it even better was having access to hot water upon arrival. We got in late and didn’t realize that we needed to turn on the water heater first and waited about 20-30 mins. But it was all good once it’s heated.

Could be cleaner - found hair tie on the floor in corner of kitchen. Thank you for milk, provided when requested. A tea pot and perhaps some coffee would make a difference. Couldn’t find hairdryer.

No TV for the evenings. No blinds on the bedroom windows was not good when you have a toddler trying to fall sleep and stay asleep. The sofa bed was not comfortable.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2024The apartment was clean and well kept. It was very well stocked, it had toothpaste, cereal, lots of different teas, coffee etc. Owner was friendly and helpful.
It is in a remote spot and is a good distance from Doolin village. We could hear the people in the next apartment and upstairs.
