スタッフの方が本当に親切で、滞在中は何度も温かく助けていただきました。こちらのことを気にかけながら、いつも丁寧に対応してくださったことがとても嬉しかったです。 お部屋から見える山の景色は素晴らしく、朝目を覚ましたときに美しい山々が見えること、そして一日を終えてカウベルの音を聞きながら過ごせることが、とても幸せでした。 一人旅で少し不安なこともありましたが、スタッフの方のおかげで安心して過ごすことができました。このホテルで過ごした時間は、今回の旅の中でも特に心に残る思い出になりました。 本当にありがとうございました。またヴェンゲンを訪れる機会があれば、ぜひ戻ってきたいと思います。

It was all good. Just a bit annoying when people from other floors were coming down the stairs to use our floor’s toilet.

The beds were very firm and the pillows were dead.

Since I had the “crazy” plan of leaving the hotel at 7:00 a.m. and heading for Kandersteg, the lady was kind enough to prepare a takeaway breakfast for me. I especially loved the apple, which I enjoyed by the incredible Oeschinensee after returning from the Hohtürlipass.

The breakfast was very good. I enjoyed coming down every morning and talking with the other guests, but especially talking with the Owner. She was such a pleasure to get to know. She gave my husband and I the best ideas of other things to do while in Wengen. We arrived much later than we had anticipated because we missed a train. Can you imagine our surprise when we woke up and opened out our curtain, the most amazing, views of Jungfraujoch mountain top. I don't think I have had a more beautiful view from my room as this! I never wanted to leave!

I wish I could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect at this hotel!

The hotel is some 600 m away from the train station, slightly uphill. Very quiet location. Lady who manage the hotel was very nice and polite. The breakfast was very good. Hotel and room was a bit outdated, but everything was functional and have a charm of a mountain house. A lot of intentional channels on cable TV.

Maybe replace shower heads.

L'hôtel est très bien situé et notre chambre avait une belle vue sur la Jungfrau avec un balcon bien agréable. Le style est celui d'un hotel familial suisse des années 60 confortable et agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et est servi à partir de 7h ce qui est commode pour aller marcher.. La patronne nous a très efficacement et aimablement aidé à surmonter un imprévu. Nous retournerons au Berghaus si nous passons quelques jours à Wengen..

La chambre avec sa salle de bains a tout l'équipement nécessaire mais l'ensemble date des années 60 et commence à vieillir un peu. Quelques prises électriques supplémentaires seraient les bienvenues notamment.

It was in a great location. Easily accessible. Martina the receptionist was absolutely incredible and couldn’t do enough for me. She really helped me with a problem I had with my rental car, she advised me every day with my travel arrangements.She always smiling and just the absolute perfect host .. I had an incredible time and would definitely go back. Thank you again Martina 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit Blick auf die Jungfrau. Gut zu Fuss erreichbar vom Bahnhof aus. Ruhig gelegen und trotzdem schnell im Dorf.

I loved the location and classic Swiss atmosphere and amazing breakfast.

Musty smell but it’s an older establishment so it comes with the territory.

Clean and comfortable in a quieter and more relaxed section of town. The hotel has great views of the Alps.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The room had a perfect view and it was very spacious and light. The room and bathroom have so many extras to make it even more comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The day we left they made a packed lunch as we had a long train ride which was much appreciated.

The best hotel in Wengen. Excellent hospitality.

One of the most unobstructed beautiful panorama view of the mountain range right in front of the hotel. The hotel is only 10” easy walk from the train station. The host and staffs were full of hospitality and gave us warmth welcome. We booked Superior Twin Room but got upgraded to Family Room that huge with lovely settings and large bathroom. We stayed for 3 nights and we were so happy with everything here. The room had no air-con but it was cool at night and we slept well during the heat wave that hit Europe. The plus of this hotel it has elevator😁.

View from the property were amazing. cozy room. basic amenities. Host was amazing and did help us where she could - sincere thanks for that.

Hotel is uphill, so call the hotel to pick you from the train station if you have luggage. check-in was smooth. Rooms were nice however bathroom was congested and barely any space. the shower head was not fixed and it was a struggle to take shower in the bathtub. Bathroom lights were not enough, very dim. There was no hot water kettle in room, there was 1 kettle given per floor which was kept out in common area.

Fabulous location! The view is incredible. Nice rooms with view and balcony. Restaurant serving food is made to perfection. A little uphill walk from the train station but the owner was kind enough to pick and drop us as my parents are aged. Would definitely come back

Everything was well thought out, beautiful setting, comfortable room. The host was very helpful and kind. She made us feel so welcome and helped us out with many logistical challenges. It’s a family run hotel set in the mountains. I would recommend that all of my friends and family stay here when coming to Switzerland.

I couldn't be happier. This hotel has the most amazing view. The staff is incredible, and the location is perfect. I stayed there for four nights and I wish it was more.

We had an amazing view! And the breakfast was great. Also, there is a really nice living room area if you are staying in a group and need a common area. My two teenage sons played chess for a couple hours there.

Quiet, short easy walk from the station. Beautiful view, the dawn chorus (birds). Warm welcome from the owner.

The location was excellent, a short walk up from the centre of town. The breakfast was superb, and included home-made jams and plenty of fresh bread, plus eggs, cheeses and meats. The owner, Martina, is thoughtful, efficient, and a wonderful source of information. I enjoyed talking with her about family and about life. The hotel and the room were exceptionally clean.

I always like to have a kettle in the room, but I managed to find one in the hallway to make myself evening tea.

Hyvä sijainti rauhallisella alueella kaukana turistien keskeisistä alueista, mutta silti loistavalla keskeisellä sijainilla rauhallisessa Wengenissä mistä helppo liikkua joka suuntaan. Wengenistä juna Lautebrunneniin 10min, mistä helposti godoolilla Murreniin ja sileltä Schilthornin. Hotellin edustalta lähti myös gondoli hissi Männlichenin mistä pääsi toisella hissillä suoraan Gridelwaldiin. Wengenistä pääsi suoraan junaan joka vei Jungfraujockin pysäkille. Paikan omistaja todella mukava ja auttavainen. Yksin reissaavalle loistava rauhallinen paikka majoittua.

Great location, with a great view! Staff was very welcoming and personable. Enjoyable breakfast buffet with many options (yogurt, fruit, cereal, bread, boiled eggs, juice, cheese and meats, etc). Very short walk to the Mannlichen access gondola and restaurants. Peaceful location at this time of year (mid-September). Enjoyed seeing the Alpenglow morning and evening, though best in evening!

The shower water temperature fluctuated a bit, as it is an old building. I was unable to get my mini fridge to work. Also failed to mention it to staff since it wasn't a big necessity for me, but I'm sure they would've been accommodating.

Pleasant stay. Views overlooking the farm and the mountain view (Eiger, Junfrau, Mönch) from my balcony every morning were the most fantastic thing (make sure to get the room same side as the dining area you may upgrade upon arrival, check the pics). Martina, the owner, is very happy to be helping and serving the guests at anytime of fhe day, her smile is contagious. My room had everything I needed and breakfast is well prepared. Hotel is located in a quieter area of Wengen. Quite near the cable car bound for Mannlichen and Grindelwald too. I’ll come back here again.

Nothing. If the guest likes staying in a quiet or less crowded area, this place may be a bit of a walk from the train station, but will be perfect.

Martina was very friendly and helpful

I had a single room for two weeks with a two day business trip in the middle of my stay. The room was very comfortable, and the bed first rate. I have an arthritic back but I slept comfortably each night. The food was excellent. Martina, the owner/manager is very professional, and a pleasure to speak with. I will certainly be staying there again.

Our home base during the Lauterbrunnen portion of our honeymoon; Hotel Berghaus was a marvelous and magical place to stay. Nestled in amongst some of the most stellar scenery in the world, Berghaus offers a wonderful combination of comfort and coziness. You'll find more charm here than you would at one of the larger resort hotels. When we'd return at the end of the day from adventuring in the valley, we'd find brand new chalk drawings by the hotel manager's young children. The place feels like a home and hotel all at once. Its an easy walk down the hill to the train station in Wengen to get you anywhere you wanna go, or you can hang out and watch the gondola go up to Männlichen while enjoying an excellent dinner. You can't go wrong!

Wonderful location away from the bustle of town. Loved my room overlooking farm. Friendly, helpful host.
