The staff were more than helpful and very friendly with a personal touch. The dinner menu is probably the best in Wengen at a reasonable price.
I liked the honesty room with free coffee and tea but still would have loved a coffeemaker in the room. A fridge would also have been nice but I understand the environmental and cost / space concerns.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Friendly staff, a clean room, and an amazing view. The room was small, but it was perfectly fine for one person. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the train station, and the driver was very friendly and kind. The breakfast was excellent and had a great variety of options.
The bathroom was too small in my opinion. There were no slippers provided in the room, even though they were listed as an included amenity in my booking. There is also no AC in the room. I personally did not have an issue with this because the weather was cool at night during my stay. However, if you are planning to stay here during the hotter summer days, this is something to keep in mind.

The single room I stayed in was very comfortable and spacious, and had a door onto a terrace with great views of Jungfrau. There were nice resident amenities such as the lounge with coffee machine and mini bar with fair prices. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was also very complete and good quality.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026This hotel is so charming! The room was very small, but we had a balcony facing the mountains and it was amazing. Loved sitting out there and just taking in the view. The breakfast was delicious and the best we had during our whole stay in the region. Very quick walk to and from the train.
The room is a bit small so it was hard to have your luggage and two adults to easily move around the space. It wasn't a big deal since most of our time was spent outside in nature!

They have Nespresso available at all times with a nice place to sit and relax. Breakfast was wonderful in a lovely dining room.
We were there during a heat wave and wished we had air conditioning, but this wouldn’t be a factor much of the time.

A smaller key for my pocket for when I go out and about. lol A fan for my room would have been so amazing. I should have asked. I slept with the door open and was fine though.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Breakfast was the best part. The lady at the breakfast table(Hina) was the most helpful, cordial and understanding person. Little gesture of love and care in the morning itself goes a long way. The staff who picked us up, dropped us off and helped us with coffee/mile, were all very great. The hotel rooms(small but expected), proximity to station, overall view from family room are all great.
Front desk lady's attitude. The bath tubs can use a sliding door, when you take shower bathroom floor gets wet. The family room only has a partial view of the Jungfrau from the balcony as shown on their listing, please have your experience set accordingly. Front facing rooms can't accommodate 4 so my only option was family room.

Reviewed May 21, 2026The views of the mountain were great. Everything was clean and we were in a great location. The hotel had everything we needed for our stay too. We didn’t have time to use the sauna but went to the restaurant and the honest bar/lounge.
I wish there was a gym! That’s my only complaint.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Ich kenne Wengen und das Hotel schon sehr lange. Lage ist top. Terrasse und Ausblick auch. Sehr nett war der Transport von und zum Bahnhof. Das Personal ist freundlich. Familienzimmer sehr passend für uns.
Vielleicht hatten wir zuviel Nostalgie. Es gibt nicht viel zu sagen… alles okay… überall fehlt so ein bisschen meine Begeisterung

Man spürt, dass das Haus schon ein paar Mal an- und umgebaut worden ist. Table napkins beim Frühstück waren zerschlissen und löchrig. This fact is not corresponding with the high standard of the hotel. Unverständlich, dass eine nachträgliche Buchung von Halbpension nicht möglich war.

It is enjoying the sun all day and indeed a “nice corner” as the the name says. Very comfortable, beautiful and typical Swiss restaurant with contemporary menu with friendly and helpful staff. Swiss hospitality at its best!

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026Es war alles super. Ich hatte noch nie ein so sauberes Zimmer. Bei den meisten Bädern hat es irgendwo in den Fugen Schimmel oder sonstigen Dreck. Dies war hier nicht der Fall, einfach top.
Einziges "Manko" war der grosse Zimmerschlüssel, bzw. der Anhänger. Schlüsselkarten wären um einiges handlicher und praktischer.

Location very central and close to shops, restaurants, PO, church, and Männlichen cable car station; rail station and Co-op five minutes away. Room and balcony had breathtaking mountain views - unfortunately these disappeared for five out of seven days with persistent cloud, but particularly beautiful with sunset glow in the evenings. Everything spotlessly clean; nice modern bathroom; decent-sized shower; good internet. Lovely welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent, generous and varied breakfast ... a real treat to have smoked salmon every morning!
Nothing really ... but a small fridge in the room might have been useful to keep drinks chilled ...
