Siamo arrivate a Villa Playa Tayrona dopo una tappa a San Andrés e, dopo due giorni immersi nel caos e nella confusione, questo era esattamente il posto di cui avevamo bisogno. Una location meravigliosa, immersa nel verde del Tayrona, tra le montagne della Sierra Nevada e il Mar dei Caraibi. Qui si respira un senso di pace e tranquillità davvero difficile da spiegare. Lo staff è sempre stato attento, disponibile e gentilissimo. Una menzione speciale va a Manuel, che ci ha raccontato storie e curiosità che non conoscevamo e ci ha accompagnate in una passeggiata alla spiaggia proprio di fronte all’hotel. Non da meno le cuoche: abbiamo mangiato divinamente, probabilmente il miglior cibo di tutta la Colombia. È stato un piccolo sogno e speriamo davvero di poterci tornare un giorno. bella la stanza e molto grande. letto comodo e asciugacapelli con diffusore. il cibo buono. la posizione non fronte spiaggia ma carina e vicina alle spiagge con passeggiata. si trova all'interno di un complesso, un po un labirinto all'inizio, ma interessante.

Per quello che abbiamo pagato e le stelle della struttura, mi aspettavo davvero di più. Nessun servizio all'interno della stanza (acqua, caffè ecc....) ma neanche fuori (in comune) o almeno a noi non ci hanno detto che potevamo prendere nulla (a parte, a pagamento).ricordiamo che l'acqua in colombia non è potabile. all'accoglienza non ci hanno aiutato per niente coi bagagli. sui servizi sono rimasta molto delusa. il servizio ci è sembrato molto da "hostel" pur essendoci piscina e la struttura bella.

The property is absolutely stunning with beautiful views of the river and the ocean. It’s quiet and honestly breathtaking. I think what beats everything though is the hospitality, kindness and helpfulness of the management and staff team. Everyone goes above and beyond to help you and make sure you have the best stay. They even helped me with my rental car issues (which had nothing to do with them - I had a little accident before arriving). It’s rare to experience such care and kindness and I’m beyond grateful. Food was amazing as well

There were some issues with electricity cutting out, but never for longer than 2-3 minutes, so not a big issue.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in! We loved all of the staff, everyone was so kind and helpful. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Tayrona National Park is nearby so easy to do a day trip and be back in time for dinner. The food was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Etwas teuer, auch das Essen. Wenn man es aber mit anderen Hotels in Kolumbien vergleicht, stimmt hier dafür alles. Auch das Essen ist sehr gut.

Las istalaciones son muy confortables, llenas de naturaleza y sensacion de mucha paz, admiramos el respeto que se ejerce en ella. El personal es muy profesional y orientado siempre al servicio del husped,hasta el punto de hacerlo sentir como en casa; la comida es exquisita con una carta sencilla y completa. Espacio ideal para compartir en pareja, unas vacaciones para repetir.

Unfortunately the Tayrone NP was closed during our stay. We did however enjoy nearby beach - Playa Los Angeles. Communication from the hotel on things to do could have been better as other sites were also closed but we were not aware of this and wasted time trying to go to them.

This is the most wonderful hotel! It really feels like you are living in nature. It is small and personal and so peaceful. As a woman travelling alone I felt completely safe here too.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, set in stunning surroundings with incredible views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—truly going above and beyond. The food was fantastic; we couldn’t have been happier with our meals. One of the highlights was when the staff recommended a personalized walking route through the park, tailored to our interest in seeing wildlife. It was an amazing experience—we hiked for two hours without encountering another person, but we saw plenty of monkeys and other animals along the way. It was unforgettable!

Nos encantó la vista privilegiada del río, del mar y las montañas al mismo tiempo. Encuentras casi todos los escenarios posibles de la naturaleza en un mismo lugar. Habitaciones cómodas, lindas, y espacios comunes muy bien conservados y limpios. A pocos minutos de una playa solitaria y perfecta para descansar y conectar con el mar. Lo mejor del lugar: el personal. Siempre dispuesto a ayudar.

Sehr ruhig, toller Blick, schöne Zimmer, keine Kinder, Essen ist gut. Ich bin vor Ort krank geworden und man hat mir frei Haus eine sehr leckere Hühnersuppe gekocht.

Das Essen ist im Partner Hotel „Casa Bambu“ genau das gleiche aber allgemein besser. Wir hatten im Zimmer eine nach Schimmel riechende Matratze und Kissen, haben dann ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Am nächsten Tag sollten wir dieses Upgrade dann bezahlen, was wir nicht getan haben. Außerdem könnte man einen Wasserspender allgemein aufstellen oder im Zimmer wenigstens 2x Wasser gratis. Das kann man bei 160€ die Nacht schon erwarten. Hin und wieder muss die Pool Area gecheckt werden, da standen leere Bier Dosen teilweise 4 Stunden rum.

W Obiekcie czułyśmy się fantastycznie. Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie. Zapewniono nam możliwość zjedzenia śniadania wcześniej, przed odlotem. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne. Duży wybór dla wegetarian. Hotel wyjątkowo czysty i zadbany. Zdecydowanie polecam. Wrócimy jak najszybciej :)

El escenario paisajistico es inmejorable, la calidad ambiental, la calidad de la comida y el servicio cercano del personal. Un lugar para realmente descansar y desconectarse

Para mi esposo falto un poco mas fuerza al aire acondicionado y la cama un poco blanda.

La atención del personal fue excepcional, muy atentos y la comida deliciosa. La ubicación es muy buena , el hotel está en una parcelación privada y segura , con otros hoteles alrededor. Tiene una vista única que mezcla piscina , río y mar. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. Tiene fácil acceso a la playa. .

Solo 2 detalles menores a tener en cuenta: a veces se acaba el agua caliente y el aire no enfría muy bien por el tipo de ventanas

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Playa Villa Tayrona for making our stay so special. A special mention goes to Frank and Manuel at reception, who were always welcoming and helpful, as well as Tatiana, Yilmer, Sindy, Lisney, Dilia, Maria Elena, Blanca and Sandra, whose kindness and hard work made everything run so smoothly. From the moment we arrived, the whole team made us feel cared for and at home, and their warmth and hospitality set the tone for a truly memorable visit. The food was absolutely incredible, with a wonderful variety to suit all tastes. As vegetarians, we were delighted to find some delicious and creative options, but there was also plenty of fresh fish and meat on offer for others. Everything was beautifully prepared, full of flavour and made with the freshest ingredients, which really highlighted the thought and passion that goes into the dining experience here. Beyond the meals, the setting itself is just perfect. The pool and the views are breathtaking, the massage we enjoyed was both soothing and professional, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. It is such a relaxing place, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Playa Villa Tayrona is a gem, and we cannot wait to return.

Joahana was very friendly, good care provider, warm and concerned person. The chefs and service team were very kind, hospitable, polite with skilled intelligent approach. Bel ecrin au milieu de la verdure de Tayrona. Tres proche de l’entree du parc, on s’y sent seul au monde et la nourriture est délicieuse !

Petit établissement de cinq chambres, très calme. Un havre de quiétude à cinq minutes en bus de l’entrée du parc Tayrona. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant, la table excellente et l’hôtel très bien décoré. La cuisine ouverte donne l’impression de séjourner chez un particulier. Chaises longues et hamacs offrent une belle vue sur la rivière

This property was so special! Its location nestled in nature, the warm kind staff who made us feel at home with their warm smiles and attentive care, the elevated yet understated architecture that blended seamlessly into the environment, the large clean and very peaceful room, the delicious food coffee and cocktails, and the perfect balance of seclusion/privacy with easy access to the beach and Parque Tayrona all added up to make this the perfect end to our Colombian vacation. I only wish we had more time at Villa Playa Tayrona. I hope to return very soon!

It was stunning! The rooms were gorgeous, so spacious and modern. The hotel was small and personal, it felt like we were at a homestay it was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make us feel relaxed and at home. And the food was superb!

Location was excellent- beautiful view, peaceful and relaxing vibe, lovely pool, very clean, communal area beautiful and they provide yoga mats. Felt very close to nature. Well maintained house and grounds.

Lots to say here in hope it is constructive and helpful to improve rather than a big criticism ( and what we would measure for an expensive luxury hotel). First of all please could there be more safety warnings about access to NARANJOS beach - my husband slipped on a rock getting down to the beach, winded himself and badly bruised his ribs (and most people would find this a very risky manoeuvre as the rocks are very hazardous). The staff were very kind, and agreed to a reduced rate to allow us to stay an extra night for him to recover, which was generous, but it would be helpful to provide steps to the water to help people get to the beach safely. Lots of signs warning about crocodiles but nothing to warn people about the danger of the sea and rocks. In general some staff excellent, others not so much - we felt a little like it was a bit of an effort for some staff and like we had to ask for a favour. Menu very limited but a good standard in general (depends who prepares it - the male chef was excellent but we ordered the same dish the following night and it was nowhere near so good). Room could do with more than one bin, vanity set (cotton wool, tissues, shower cap, complimentary mosquito spray), maybe a small fridge in the room. No power points near bed, only in bathroom?! Seems odd that there is air conditioning but no windows. We would expect these small extras for a luxury hotel. I hope this is helpful. Overall our stay was very good and we would recommend.

Everything! This place is FANTÁSTICO! The fact that there’s no music is so relaxing… just the sea and the river and everything in between. Food is just WOW! Make yourself a favor and book a massage. I can’t wait to go back.

There are so many things we liked about Villa Playa! Staring with breathtaking location, beautiful architecture and design, comfortable large rooms, intimate atmosphere. Next would be Villa Playa’s team and service: professional, friendly and genuine. Food service was amazing! We were looking forward to every meal as they were so delicious and fresh. We arranged for massage-twice, it was a high quality and great value. Near by Los Angeles beach was our favourite morning walk, stunning! Tayrona National park was near by, two easy day trips for us. Our stay at Villa Playa felt as a real treat! It is a memorable 4 days and we certainly hope to be back.

The service was top-notch; the staff was always friendly, attentive, and ready to help at all times. They made us feel at home from day one. The food delicious. Our experience at Villa Playa Tayrona exceeded expectations. The accommodation was excellent, the atmosphere relaxing, and the staff exceptional in their service. I’d like to especially recognize Joanna for her outstanding assistance—her support was incredibly valuable and greatly appreciated throughout our stay.

One of our favourite hotels during our Colombia trip. Fantastic style, beautiful pool, gigantic rooms, lovely common spaces and great service. We also loved the food and drinks. Beautiful location overlooking the river and close to the beach. There are just a few rooms like 4 or something so it feels like you are there almost alone.

Location, calm and the size of the room, even if you don’t have real intimacy with the bathroom not being closed. Food is good, but requires more variety on the breakfast

The allow guest to book tables or sunbeds while there are not enough for all guests. We experienced the table in front of our suite booked all our stay (morning and evening) without the possibility to book it ourselfs. He had to argue with the guests without any help of the staff. Same scenario for the sunbeds. No bottle of water in the guest rooms

Stray dog around.

Lovely setting, very big bedroom, helpful staff, great pool and proximity to the national park. Very clean and quiet and they do a great job at minimising the impact of insects. We had a lovely massage for 120.000 COP each.

There was no door to the toilet in the bedroom so privacy was limited. Whilst there was a balcony in our room it was very narrow and didn’t really have a view (that seemed to be the case for all rooms) so you couldn’t sit out on it. The food was hit and miss, especially breakfast. I had a pancake on one day which was very thick and completely raw in the middle. The sun loungers seemed quite short - everyone’s feet were hanging off the end! The WiFi was patchy and often cut out. We were told before we arrived that there was a running circuit near the hotel but when we asked about this at check in we were met with a black expression. Generally lacking some luxurious touches like robes in the bedrooms and better sun loungers. There are also some ‘low hanging fruits’ that could be offered to guests like fresh coconuts during the day. We were asked twice to leave a review. Once is ok, I accept that they are important, but twice felt a bit pushy!

Being on this side of the national park was like being in the park without all the tourists. My husband and I often found ourselves on the beach alone or with very few people. The in room couples massage was amazing.

Villa Playa Tayrona was an exceptional stay for my partner and I. We felt pampered by the staff, who were so helpful and cooked the most delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool was beautiful. The scenery was incredible. You’re right in the middle of the jungle! The location is remote, but that’s part of the appeal. Manuel was able to make great suggestions for the area and accommodate us when we had to check in late at night and check out a bit late as well. He also helped us arrange massages and a taxi to Tayrona National Park. While we didn’t have hot water in the shower, the air temperature outside was pleasant so it was not a big deal. The AC in the room worked great. Highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic small hotel comprised of only a few rooms, and it feels like having the property to yourself. Tasty food and cocktails. Rooms are large and comfortable; AC works well.

We liked most everything. Perhaps water pressure can be better in the sinks and the shower.

The location of Villa Playa Tayrona is unbeatable and the view over the rio piedra flowing into the ocean is amazing. The food is great and the staff is smiling and attentive to your needs, whether it is for transportation requests or info on daily excursions, Johana has been very helpful. Also Emanuel on the sister lodge Casabambu has been very nice allowing us to use the Playa Tayrona facilities while at Casa Bambu in the last two days. The atmosphere of the lodge is laid back in beautiful surroundings. The location is strategic being 5 minutes by car from the entrance of the Tayrona Park.

Nothing i didn't like but I would personally vouch for a small gym. Maybe something to consider for the future...

I loved the people that were taking care of us in the hotel. They were very kind and the food was amazing.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Playa, the bedroom is so spacious, clean and comfortable! All the communal areas (swimming pool, dining room, chill out area) were beautiful! The food is what stood out here, we had the best food we’ve had in the 3 weeks of travelling Colombia with so much variety and freshly cooked in an open kitchen - you feel like you have a private villa the whole time you are there! Make sure you go upstairs to the chill out area with hammocks and also walk to the beach bar 5 minutes down the road for sunset!

Nothing - we loved the honesty box for drinks as you could help yourself throughout the day and night however our only recommendation would be to have a few food snack options too!

Incredible service, such friendly staff. Very clean and incredible setting. Just as it looks in the pictures, if not better! They helped us organise massages and horse riding very smoothly, and the chef’s food was delicious.
