Had an everything you needed, prices at the bar were reasonable, the breakfast was nice. Most of all the staff who work there are all lovely people so welcoming I would definitely return to this hotel.

The fact I can’t visit it everyday.

There isn’t anything negative to say other than there wasn’t very much shower gel in a room for two people who were staying 4 days

The kingbed was very comfortable. The delicious breakfast (with buffet and dish to order) and the dinner at the restaurant The friendly staff No problem to park the car close to the hotel

The room without a view was a bit dark but we didn't spend a long time during the day inside so it wasn't too embarrassing.

El restaurante da comidas y cenas muy buenas y el bar que esta debajo del hotel es perfecto. Si volviese me alojaria en otro sitio pero iria a ese bar y comeria en el restaurante.

La tapa del baño no se sostiene arriba y es muy desagradable tener la tapa apoyada en la espalda... La ducha es diminuta y no hacen la habitacion. Primera vez que estoy en un 4* y no hacen ni la cama, habia muchisimo polvo. Las estrellas se las dieron hace 50 años. La luz del pasillo no se apaga en toda la noche y entra muchisima luz por la puerta que tiene las holguras de hace 50 años. El edredon era para una cama de 1.60, y era una cama de 1.80 asi que habia que dormir en el centro. Los sabados hacen fiesta en el bar y se oye toda la musica toda la noche, es insoportable. Si te alojas entre semana tampoco es mejor porque se oye perfectamente la conversacion de la habitacion de al lado.

Hotel has been refurbished since our last visit. Rooms are pretty and comfortable and the restaurant has a great menu and is very tasty.

Nello stesso compresso c’è anche un locale che nella notte di sabato diventa anche notturno, con musica ad alto volume fino alle 2 di botte circa, la mostra camera, al primo piano, non è perfettamente insonorizzata tanto che abbiamo scoperto poi c’erano a disposizione anche dei tappi per le orecchie nel cassetto dei comodini. Non rifanno la camera per soggiorni di più di una notte, nonostante nella camera ci fossero cartelli indicando dove mettere gli eventuali asciugamani da cambiare

We had dinner on the first night and I have to say it was lovely. We had a lovely bedroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable

When we came down for breakfast we were asked for our room number and then left standing until I asked if we could sit down. The usual question is 'have you had breakfast here before' and then explain where everything is. Everyone was very nice but didn't seem to be organised. We arrived at 9.30m and it was over an hour before we left. Breakfast was quite slow even though it wasn't busy. The brown bread had mould on it and the milk was on the turn, could have been due to the heat. It rained on our second night and the noise of the gutter overflowing woke me out of a dead sleep. I thought the water was coming into the room. Even after closing the window and putting the earplugs that were supplied I couldn't get back to sleep for the noise. All these things could be fixed and would make a difference to people staying there. This wasn't the stay I was expecting, even at the reception desk, I wasn't sure if I was speaking to someone who worked but since coming home I have realised the hotel is under new management so I hope this is all teething problems

The room was spotless and the bed was very comfy and the furnishings were very luxurious. Bathroom was also really clean and couldn’t fault it. I would definitely stay again.

The room was sound proof but being near the main road was a bit noisy. Also would ideally like air con if I was there in really hot weather.

Great location short walk from the town and although the hotel does not have onsite parking there are a few small car parks nearby. We booked the restaurant which was beautiful decorated for a meal and the food was excellent so we looked forward to breakfast which did not disappoint, after a great night sleep (as the mattress was so comfortable ) we went down for breakfast there are not many establishments that have freshly cooked breakfast only buffet style so it was really nice to have your breakfast served to you and there was plenty of options. The public bar was nice and cozy the bedrooms are very clean and a good size. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not having a lift was the only thing I missed but would not put me off staying again, i don’t know if there is any where a lift could be installed as reading other reviews this is one of the weak points.

Room clean and well equipped with complimentary tea and coffee and toiletries. Friendly, efficient check in and check out. Breakfast selection good, including for vegetarians. Hotel very well located for exploring the harbour area, coastal path and Portstewart Strand. Lots of nearby cafes and shops. Pub attached to hotel had excellent free live entertainment in the evening. Buses linking Portstewart with Colreraine railway station can be picked up nearby.

The location of the hotel was very good and very close to the promenade. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean and the bathroom provided the basic needs. Beds were a good size. Despite getting to the hotel by car, if we were to get there by public transport it would have been very accessible.

The walls were quite thin so it was a wee bit nosy whenever trying to go to sleep, although when booking we were fully aware that there is a pub beneath us. The room was basic. Staff were not always there at reception. No lift. A bad view from hotel bedroom window. No parking for cars.

The location was fantastic. The staff were friendly yet professional. The rooms were small, but clean and comfortable.

Some of the minor details. No plugs nearby for charging devices. No plug for kettle had to be put on the floor to boil. A few cobwebs around the light fittings.

The food in skippers was fabulous. Unfortunately, as expected the noise from the club was awful. I guess this is something that is out of their control but guests should be aware of this

Great location, very friendly staff at the breakfast, lovely breakfast with good selection. Room was clean and comfortable.

There was no one on reception in the evening and the door to the stairs to get to your room was just open. You didn't need to have a key card to get access to the stairs. I felt unhappy that anyone could just get access to the stairs. It was a busy area, with people at the night club and both bars coming and going. Loud music until after 2am. Reception staff didn't ask anything other than our name on check in, just handed over the key.

Excellent rooms in an excellent location. The staff were awesome and a wonderful warm welcome from Damien at reception. The location is perfect being on the main promenade and part of the Anchor complex.

The only thing that could have been better was a slightly better view. In fairness though I didn’t ask for a direct view of the sea, so that’s not a complaint.

I hated the view out of the window onto the dirty roof ledge; The curtains don't block the lights on the outside of the building.Nearby drunk guest banged the doors for ages the first night so couldn't sleep until late on.

Everything was amazing, and they were so accommodating as we had to check inn late after 20.30 and they even kept us a table so we could eat, staff were so nice and kind.

Great location, close to everything. Right by the water, shops and restaurants. Bed was big and comfortable enough.

Room was outdated. Shower was very small and uncomfortable, probably last updated in the 80s. Flight of stairs to rooms, no lift and then about 4 heavy doors in the hallway. Stayed 2 nights, no cleaning rooms which was fine, but by day 2 we run out of toilet paper. Would not stay there again.

This is not a 4 star hotel. The reception area is messy with laundry. Old blood on the towels. The kettle in the room connects to nothing. The shower head is probably the original from when the hotel was built.

Had an amazing stay, staff were so attentive and kind. The staff couldn't do enough for me, travelled with a baby on my own, the staff helped me a lot.

For a family with a young child, hearing ones coming in from their night woke us up as they were loud, slaming doors, shouting etc, walls very thin, hear everything. I am aware having fun etc after night out is totally fine but for a family with a child isnt ideal and I didnt really think about it at the time of booking.

All was exceptional

Between 12pm and 4pm lunch menu was £12 per person for 2 courses mains and dessert the food was excellent 😋. Breakfast was also delicious definitely worth a return visit.

We had a lovely stay. Bed soo comfy an lovely clean room. Breakfast was lovely an fresh an plentiful. We also had evening meal. The haddock was the best ive tasted so fresh. All in all we had another lovely stay. Will be back.

Fantastic friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you, a great restaurant and bar area. We didn’t have to leave the hotel which is what we wanted. And GREAT OUTCIDER that’s why I had a hangover today. Comfy bed everything we needed in a spacious room.
