Rooms were small but clean. Breakfast was very good.

Extremely tight quarters. Can also be noisy as there is a bar in first floor.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. The room was good for a short stay with about 20 minute walk to the centre.

Left too early for breakfast to be served. Dinner was very good the night b4.

There was NO cold water in shower so we were scalded. Room/bathroom was so small 2 of us could barely move around. They didn’t give us a WiFi password so didn’t have. I made reservations months ahead of time. I think they gave us a reserve room. There was one small parking space left & tight. Afraid rental car would get hit. Should have had spaces separate for overniters.

We stayed in guesthouse, two minutes walk from Sliding Rock, the property of Sliding Rock. It was very good, good beds , great shower area. The breakfast was great. It is near city area. Staff were excellent. Asked for early check and got it.

The noise from traffic, but it quietened at night.

Een locatie in het centrum van Galway. We hadden een welliswaar kleine, maar compleet uitgeruste en erg schone kamer. De medewerkers waren erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. ‘s Morgens werd er een uitgebreid en smakelijk ontbijt verzorgd. De auto kan op de eigen parkeerplaats worden gezet.

Staying above an Irish pub is about as noisy as you think but the room was cozy and we slept well once the bar closed. The breakfast was included and I’d highly recommend it! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the city shops are easily walkable!

The parking is pretty tight and there are not enough spots for everyone staying there. The bathrooms are also quite small and the water pressure for the shower was basically nonexistent and had trouble staying hot.

Clean rooms, rooms were recently renovated, all freshly painted and new bathroom appliances. Coffee machine in rooms. My husband enjoyed his breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Location was right across from the hospital. Bus stops nearby for going into city centre. Dinner in bar was or tasty.

Rooms very small, had interrupted sleep due to heavy fire doors banging shut at all hours. Did not stay in bar itself, was directed to a building one minute away. In the morning when we were going back to the bar for breakfast, the front door was locked. We knocked but no answer, were knocking for a good while in the rain. Did not like the new vegetarian breakfast, the old vegetarian breakfast was delicious.

Very clean room. All you need while in Galway. Close enough to the Latin Quarter where it’s a very easy walk, but distant enough where you don’t get the noisy traffic. They also provided complimentary breakfast in the morning from the restaurant. It was great, very hospitable. Next time I’m in Galway, Sliding Rock Inn will be the first place I check.

Świetne miejsce! Ważne, że hotel ma swój parking. Bardzo dobre śniadania. Jeśli chce się wypocząć - koniecznie pokój deluxe, który jest w osobnym budynku (nie tam gdzie pub z muzyką:) i jest bardzo komfortowy.

Nie mam uwag krytycznych, z całą pewnością tam wrócimy!

Tiny room, even smaller bathroom. The rooms are directly over a noisy bar playing music until 1.00am - woken by beer deliveries at 5.00am. Door into bathroom wouldn’t close and shower door broken. Take your chances!!

The room was clean, tidy. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to get around and reach the places we wanted to visit.

The rooms are quite small, which can feel a bit cramped, especially if you have larger luggage. The breakfast selection is also very limited, with only a few options to choose from, and unfortunately, we didn’t find it particularly tasty. Another downside is that breakfast only starts at 8:00 AM. If you’re planning to visit attractions outside Galway early in the morning, this can be quite inconvenient. We actually had to skip breakfast on some mornings so that we could leave early enough to make it to the attractions on time.

Actual room was warm, clean and very comfortable.

It was a house down the road from the Sliding Rock. It rains a lot in Galway. Just expect to have to stay in a house... it was fine, a first would problem.

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut, man ist fußläufig schnell im Zentrum. Hinter dem Haus kann man kostenlos parken und im Pub unten drunter essen und trinken. Wir haben es nur für eine Nacht genutzt und daher absolut ideal. Es sind alle sehr freundlich

We actually stayed a few yards down from the sliding rock in their apartments,not through our choice. Spotlessly clean and comfortable Breakfast was lovely and staff were very friendly and helpful

As the apartments were a few yards away from the sliding rock we had to walk back every morning for breakfast, it was only a few yards but would have liked to stay in the sliding rock itself. Breakfast was one choice only although very delicious

Schön renoviertes, aber kleines Zimmer (kein Schrank, keine Kommode) in einem Nebengebäude und nicht oberhalb des Pubs. Neues Bad. Alles schön sauber und sehr nettes Personal. Sehr schönes Pub.

Der Strassenlärm (direkt an einer Hauptstraße) und die Hellhörigkeit des Gebäudes. Wir wussten immer wer wann heimkommt. Unser Zimmer 381 war direkt an der Haustür und die hat einen Krach gemacht, sodass wir bis 24:00 und dann ab morgens 05:30 nicht mehr schlafen konnten.

The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. Bed was a bit small but only cuz my boyfriend is over 6ft, room was very warm too but I’m sure the non Irish people were comfortable with the heat.

La ubicación es excelente. Muy cerca del centro, la única pega es la calle que pasa justo por delante que puede ser un poco molesto en ruido. En desayuno estupendo. No se puede pedir más. El personal se portó estupendamente tanto los dos días que desayunamos como un día que cenamos. Muy atentas.

La habitación es muy pequeña, sin apenas sitio para dejar las cosas y el baño aprovechado al milímetro. El precio quizá es un poco alto para lo que ofrece

Netter Empfang und ein Pub im Haus. Das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend. Mit einem Spaziergang ist Galway Zentrum gut zu erreichen.

Parkplätze beengt und in geringer Anzahl. Das Zimmer eher klein und in die Jahre gekommenen. Das Bad hat die Größe eines Kleiderschrankes. Zimmer entsprechen der Beschreibung, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt für das Gebotene leider nicht.

Il parcheggio dichiarato riservato era in un piazzale ma disponibile solo dopo la chiusura del PUB quando i clienti vanno via. Stanza subito sopra le cucine del pub molto calda senza aria condizionata con tutti i fumi e gli odori della cucina tutta la sera, stanza troppo piccola non vi era manco una sedia. Colazione compresa ma solo dopo le 8 del mattino. Troppo caro per quello che ha offerto la camera.

Alles ziemlich neu und gut konzipiert. Relativ gute Lage. Sehr sauber. Jeden Tag alles frisch und neu. Wir hatten einen Parkplatz. Sehr nettes Personal.

Raum schon knapp. Morgens schon sehr früh kommen Lieferungen für den Pub. Stille nicht vor 1pm.

Purtroppo la camera era microscopica con un bagno piccolissimo, in due persone praticamente non ci si poteva muovere e posare niente, neanche un tavolino o cosa simile.... peccato per questo dettaglio....

Das Bad in Zimmer 1 ist sehr klein und der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war schwach. Beim Frühstück gab es keinen Auswahl an Müsli oder Saft, zumindest nicht als Selbstbedienung

Hyggelig pub med tilhørende værelser. Gratis parkering i gården (få en tilladelse i baren) - Centrum kan nås til fods. God morgenmad - frit valg fra menukort.

Vinduerne kunne ikke åbnes ordenligt, så værelset var meget varmt. Badeværelset er det mindste jeg nogensinde har set, brusebad er næsten umulig.

Very clean and new. Near to walk in to the main town. Parked right outside our room. Breakfast was lovely and staff friendly and helpful.

We had a downstairs property and it was very hot weather, window only opened slightly due to security. We recommend a fan be put in the room. Also a mirror is needed in bedroom so that you can see to dry your hair. Otherwise all good.

La camera e il bagno erano piccoli ma recentemente ristrutturati. Nonostante fosse sopra un pub non abbiamo avuto problemi di rumore o schiamazzi. Nonostante la colazione non fosse a buffet, sono stati disponibili ad accontentare le nostre richieste.

Consiglio allo staff: cambiate le serrature delle camere! ;-)

All went well

Everything was absolutely great. Clean room, nice people, nice food. The room itself was comfortable. The people at the Sliding Rock Inn are helpful and I had the feeling that they absolutely love what they are doing! The pub itself - nice, irish - definitely worth a visit.

Das Zimmer 10 war über den Küchenlüftern und von dem her laut während der Öffnungszeiten des Pub. Das Zimmer selbst war klein, aber fein. Wegen des Lärms würde ich dieses Zimmer nicht mehr nehmen. Die anderen werden sicher gepasst haben.

La ubicación no está mal, sin ser la bomba, a 10-15min del centro, en una calle sin tránsito, pero en la salida de la ciudad así que genial si llegas en coche. Estaba limpio. Desayuno aceptable.

Afortunadamente solo estuvimos una noche, si hubiéramos reservado más, nos hubiéramos ido. El hotel (que es más bien una posada) está justo encima de un pub con música a tope hasta la media noche, y cierra de madrugada, por lo que tuvimos ruido de música y jolgorio hasta las tantas. Además está en la salida de la ciudad, por lo que el tráfico es constante. También, y casi lo peor, es que la habitación era diminuta. No se podía ni abrir la maleta del todo. El baño estaba literalmente dentro del armario, y no podías ni sentarte ni ducharte sin tener que hacer malabares.
