Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Great location and had an amazing and cozy atmosphere in the lounge where i could hear the irish music from the pub across the road but in the quiet safety of the lounge. Loved the kitchen with complimentary, coffee, hot chocolate and milk as well as the free breakfast. Honestly just come to stay here for the breakfast its great. It was also clean and the staff were very friendly.
The only thing I have a complaint about are the bed cages being very noisy. A little rustle here and there is fine but every single time someone in the room opened their bed cage there would be a loud and horrible screeching sound that would wake me up. Should be an easy fix with some WD40 though

Staff presente in reception 24h, tutti molto carini.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026The atmosphere was very friendly. Though the facilities and comfort reflect the fact that it's a hostel, there is a lot of effort to help the guests mingle and relax in each other's company. As a result everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Gemeinschaftsküche: alles an Equipment vorhanden, was man so brauchen könnte, wenn man dies nutzen will.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026The location is excellent - max 15 min walk everywhere I needed. The home made bread and the other sweet served for breakfast were delicious! The kitchen was well equipped, with different kinds of tea, and there is a cosy patio. There is also a board with a list of events that take place every day in Galway, which is very handy. Most importantly, the hostel has female dorms, which makes a solo stay very comfortable :)
The rooms could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly when it comes to the floor and the window sills.
