Todo el hotel está pensado para integrarse con la isla,,, su ubicación y distribución de ambientes es buena. La experiencia de habernos alojado en Nayara Hangaroa ha superado las expectativas que teníamos,,, desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestra partida hemos estado súper satisfechos. Ha sido una experiencia que vamos a recordar y recomendar siempre!!! Gracias!!!

Me encantó todo la verdad, es un lugar caro pero con unas instalaciones que lo valen.

Que no tenga baños con ducha para personas que tienen q esperar en el lobby la hora de su vuelo, así se pueden bañar antes de salir ya que el check out es a las 11:00 y ejemplo yo tengo vuelo a las 18:00

El personal es de primer nivel, desde el momento que te recogen en el aeropuerto hasta que te dejan para volver. Las comidas fueron exquisitas. Muy buen desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena. Las personas del restaurante son extremadamente amables, destacó a Wally que es el nombre que se nos quedó. Pero las chicas y chicos son muy amables al igual que todos en la recepción y los encargados de los tour. Durante todas las tardes pasa personal a ver si falta algo ( esto no lo había visto en otro lugar) totalmente preocupados por los huéspedes. Es de primer nivel la atención recibida

Fiquei hospedada 6 noites, e vivi dias incríveis com uma equipe extremamente atenciosa, cordial, profissional e especializada. Viajei sozinha e optei pelo all inclusive. Foi uma decisão muito acertada. A ilha é maravilhosa, energia incrível. Minha estadia foi perfeita.

We spent 3 nights as a family in adjacent rooms. All rooms were clean and immaculate, and minibar inclusive. Breakfast and restaurant menu was delicious. Even celebrated a birthday here with a surprise bday cake .Best location in the area with view of the ocean and only 15min walk to town with numerous restaurants. We had a lovely stay with one of our sons with significant autism and learning disabilities and staff were always kind Highly recommended . Best hotel in the island.

We'v been to Hawaii and French Polynesia, but Easter Island is really a special place. The staff at Nayara made it even more so with their warmth and kindness. They bend over backwards to accommodate every request.

We stayed in June (off season) and we were a little unlucky with some very bad weather but the overall experience is not 5 star in any way. The property is very dated and in serious need of refurbishment. The staff are friendly but nothing was outstanding. Spa staff were good but the products were poor.

We were honored to have a cooking class with Chef Henry. We made ceviche with fresh Yellowfin Tuna and all the ingredients were from the island. Mr. Raphael helped translate and also suggested wine pairings to go with the ceviche.

I recently returned from an absolutely excellent stay at Nayara Hangaroa on Easter Island, and I cannot recommend this property highly enough. From start to finish, the experience surpassed all expectations. First and foremost, the staff are the heart of this hotel. Every single team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, cared for, and genuinely connected to the local Rapa Nui culture. Their warmth and attentiveness made a lasting impression. The excursion team deserves a special shout-out. Exploring such a remote, historic, and mysterious island requires knowledgeable guides, and Nayara’s team delivered perfectly. They were incredibly passionate, deeply knowledgeable about the moai and the island’s history, and structured our outings beautifully so we could experience the magic of the island without feeling rushed. The culinary experience was another major highlight. Every meal was excellent—beautifully prepared, showcasing fresh local ingredients and seafood, and paired with fantastic service. Given the remote location of the island and the high-end luxury, sustainable design, and top-tier service provided by the hotel, I found Nayara to be an excellent value for everything included. If you are planning a bucket-list trip to Easter Island, do yourself a favor and book your stay here!

This resort is a well oiled machine and takes care of everything from when you arrive on the island until you leave the island. The resort picked us up at the airport and drove us over to the resort. Once you arrive they have someone waiting for you checking you in and going over everything you'll need to know about the place. We had an ocean view room and was amazing. The layout of the room was well done and included a private patio to view the ocean. Included in the room was a mini fridge that was stocked daily with free drinks. The morning breakfast buffet offered a good variety and a friendly staff. We didn't do tours with the resort but they will line that up for you if needed. Once we did our daily tours we would sit on the room's patio and relax. On our last day the resort arranged a ride to the airport. If you're looking for a place to stay on Easter Island, choose this place. Sure it's a little pricey but in the long run it's worth it. Easter Island is a once in a lifetime vacation, so stay somewhere worth it

La empresa que trabaja como rentacar. Arrendamos una moto. Me informaron que la entregaban en el Hotel, situación que no ocurrió, hubo que retirarla en el rentacar. El estanque no estaba llevo como se informó. Le faltaba un espejo y dos luces rotas traseras. Además de un casco en malas condiciones.

Excellent hotel and experiences, the hotel offers star gazing, we loved the very local experience with the 2 guides (SI PO) also the tour to visit the moai statues, the cave. And we loved the experience with HAKA' ARA TUPUNA, The couple that was with us were great, they also took pictures. We had a lot of fun with the activities. we dressed up in traditional clothing, overall the NAYARA was awesome, the food, the room and staff.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property. Our experience started months before we arrived on the island when we reached out to the excursion planning team. Maria Cecilia helped us organize a very detailed itinerary that included all of our desired outings. She also suggested other tours that ended up being perfect for us. Importantly we wanted private tours, transfers, and experiences and they delivered. Once we arrived we were warmly welcomed and immediately transferred to the hotel. The room was really unique and you could sense the local touches, including the stunning trees that dominate the interior architecture. We faced a little rain but our guide, Sebastian, was always willing to flex to make sure we maximized our time on the island. He was a perfect fit for our curious and active exploration style. We also loved being so close to town so we could walk around on our own time. Overall it was a tremendous stay made better by the people who worked so hard to make sure we enjoyed our time.

Nayara Hanaroa is as perfect as it can get for anyone who wants a quiet, elegant, eco-friendly stay with world-class hospitality. It is no surprise that it is one of The Leading Hotels of the World. Beautiful rooms, incredible service, great location, and some of the best food and wine I've had anywhere in the world. The guides took me all over the island and I came away with immense gratitude for Chile's Rapa Nui's commitment to preserving its history and ensuring its future through sustainability and strict environmental protocols. It was great fun negotiating with the hens and one very imperious rooster to determine which part of my terrace I was allowed to occupy. I will never forget looking up at the sky...and seeing stars. Lots of stars. For a city girl, it was a wonder. I will ask the staff's forgiveness for not remembering everyone's name but please know I appreciated what each one of you did to make my stay memorable: Jo the bartender who made me the most elegant-looking Boulevardier ever; Lina, Katia, and Leonardo and others who made each meal a joy; Elias who arranged the perfect tours for me; the archaeologist for one of my excursions who showed remarkable grace watching carefully as two exuberant TikTokkers tried to get the perfect picture (and no, this couple was not the typical guest); and finally, the handsome guy (young enough to be my son) in the main restaurant who helped me choose the perfect wines with dinner. A very special shoutout also to the chefs and the kitchen crew. Never in my life have I tasted tuna and tuna ceviche this good. Thank you for your talent and artistry. What a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Nayara Hangaroa as a couple, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish when you consider how isolated this property is. The property itself is stunning, with a beautiful pool —perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The entire atmosphere feels peaceful and thoughtfully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The food was consistently excellent. Every meal felt fresh and well-prepared, and we especially loved the themed dinner nights, which added a fun and cultural element to our stay. It gave us something to look forward to each evening and made dining feel like an experience, not just a meal. Service across the resort was warm and genuinely friendly. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of, without ever being intrusive. Our bungalow was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed—ideal for unwinding after excursions. It felt private and luxurious while still maintaining a connection to the island’s unique character. The excursions offered were varied and well-organized, allowing us to experience the history, culture, and natural beauty of Easter Island in a meaningful way. There was a great balance of activity and relaxation throughout our stay. Overall, Nayara Hangaroa delivered a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and hospitality. We would absolutely recommend it to couples looking for a special and memorable getaway.

We loved the hotel. We had a beautiful room and we were glad we booked the Discovery programme as the excursions covered a lot of ground. The best excursions were to the moai quarry and to the stand of moai close to the beach (whose name I can't recall immediately). Our room cleaner was a lovely lady (again, I can't recall her name) and our room was always beautifully kept. Rafael in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful.

In short, Nayara Hangaroa is amazing. The accommodations are quite nice but it's really all about the people and they have some of the nicest people I have ever met when traveling. Service at the restaurants is excellent but once again, the people working there set them off from other places I have visited. The excursions were very, very good and our tour guide was exceptional. He was the best I've ever had as a tour guide anywhere. And let's face it, when going to the end of the world so far from anywhere else you want the best experience possible and that's what my wife and I received.

This is one of the nicest Rapi Nui hotels with a very comfortable bed and upscale appointments. The staff are helpful and fairly friendly. The rooms are plenty large with a small patio. There are many rooms so you are near your neighbors. I had a bit of a water view over the roof of the front units. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate with a wide variety of choices. The airport shuttle was convenient but it did take a while to collect all of the guests and transfer us. Check in was handled quickly and very personally. Even given the fact that you are on Rapi Nui, this hotel is not at all worth the current charges. I cannot recommend it due to the exorbitant cost. The walk into town is about 10 minutes along a road with a narrow muddy path and a number of dogs. Once in town, there are walkways to restaurants and to the moai at the Tahai site. Unless you want all of your meals at the hotel, you must walk into town.

This is hands down the best hotel on the island! Professional friendly staff, excellent food, reasonable prices, central location, and great pool and spa - this is the place to stay!

Stray dogs roam the property and can get aggressive on wanting food. But they are friendly and safe

We stayed at two hotels during our stay on Easter Island, one very close to the airport, and then we moved to Nayara Hangaroa. Although the first hotel was fine, the contrast with Nayara was extreme and we felt like we were in heaven as soon as we walked into the lobby. The staff were all welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Our ‘Kainga’ room was excellent and one of the darkest rooms we have ever had. Those curtains really work! However, the lighting in the closet and over the bathroom mirror could be better. The hangers were also fiddly to use. These are minor issues. The food in all three restaurants was amazing. Being on the ‘Full Experience’ program (highly recommended) we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and could not have been happier. The food was excellent, the service great, and the sunset views at dinner wonderful. As part of our package we had either one full-day excursion or two half-day excursions for every night of our stay. All the activities were well planned and the guides were really good. Our favourite excursions were the half day to the quarry and the 15 moai by the sea, and also the full-day 15km hike along the north coast. Excellent! Any problems or concerns? No, not really, but guests should be aware that Easter Island is VERY popular with Chinese tour groups, especially from December to March. Many of these groups stay at Nayara Hangaroa and we estimate several hundred Chinese tourists passed through the hotel during our stay. These groups tended to dominate and clog up the lobby at arrival and departure times. However, the hotel is obviously aware of the inconvenience large groups can cause and, as a result, one restaurant was reserved for group dinners. Other guests were not expected to eat in the same restaurant. In fact, most did not want to. One accommodation we thought was very sensible was the opportunity to swap a half-day excursion for a spa treatment. This was a very thoughtful option and shows, in our opinion, that the hotel management cares about helping guests make the most of their time on the island and at the hotel. It seems this is not standard practice at Nayara resorts (see Nayara Atacama review) but the Nayara Hangaroa is leading by example. Good for you, and good for us!

We recently stayed at Nayara Hangaroa under their Discover Programme, and while there were definite highlights—the excellent food, the beautiful setting, and a couple of outstanding staff members—there were also several inconsistencies that meant the stay didn’t fully meet expectations. The Good The hotel is beautifully designed and blends naturally into the island environment. The food throughout our stay was consistently excellent. We want to warmly recognize Lina, who was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. She added warmth to every meal. But the true standout was Rafael. His service was absolutely superb: polished, proactive, and genuinely world‑class. If the rest of the service team matched his standard, the hotel experience would be exceptional. We were also celebrating a special occasion, and the hotel surprised us with sparkling wine, fresh fruit, and Moai‑shaped chocolates in our room. This was a lovely and thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. The Discover Programme We selected the Discover Programme, but it was unclear what was or wasn’t included. The menus gave no indication at all, leaving us repeatedly having to ask staff for clarification who seemed unclear themselves. This should be communicated much more clearly for guests. Excursions & Guides The excursions varied significantly in quality. One day, our guide—young, inexperienced, and not especially knowledgeable—offered very little interaction or insight, leaving the tour feeling quite flat. In contrast, our guide on the final day was what we had hoped for: knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic, and exactly what we had hoped for. The inconsistency between freelance guides was very evident. The Room The room was attractive but quite dark, even during the day. While we appreciate that the island is a wild and remote environment, encountering the type of insects inside the room was still unsettling. After disposing of the first cockroach ourselves, we immediately reported it to reception, who assured us the room would be cleaned. It was therefore particularly disappointing to find another cockroach the following day. Housekeeping & Service Housekeeping was inconsistent throughout our stay. The minibar—which was meant to be refilled daily—went three days without any replenishment, and we eventually had to ask for it ourselves. Turn‑down service also varied. Some evenings we received water by the bedside, some evenings we didn’t. It usually took place around 6pm, which felt very early given it was still bright daylight. On one occasion, as we were sitting on the patio, two chocolates were simply left just inside the room, which felt more like a box‑checking exercise than a thoughtful service moment. Outdoor Area Cleanliness On our second day, wild chickens had been on our patio table. Understandable for the island, but the feathers and even claw nails they left behind were never cleaned up—remaining on the table until we checked out. It suggested that outdoor areas weren’t being properly maintained. Overall Impression Nayara Hangaroa has tremendous potential: a stunning location, excellent food, and a couple of staff—especially Rafael—who deliver truly exceptional service. But the inconsistencies in housekeeping, programme clarity, excursion quality, and general service made the overall experience fall short of what we expected. With better training, clearer communication, and tighter quality control, this could be a genuinely outstanding hotel. Would we return? Possibly—but only if these issues were meaningfully addressed.

First off, this is a very expensive place, but if you can afford it, you will not be disappointed. My impression of Rapa Nui hotels is that they are either quirky dives or really pricey. My room was huge and gorgeous, right on the water. So dark and quiet at night, I slept really well. Luxurious amenities and very clean. I loved the pool. Breakfast huge with lots of selections. There is a bar for drinks and light meals for when you just don't feel like walking into town. It is a longer walk than I thought and a bit dangerous without sidewalks. A shuttle into town would have been nice. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Look for deals on this hotel. I recommend it.

Fantastic staff…Ilias- expedition leader- very clued up and organised. Tama- 3 tours, Teva x1 tour- both know their stuff and their English is impeccable as is all the staff. Millie was brilliant when we first arrived. Yazira, Gabby, Sofia, Rafael, Otea. Special mention to Carlos and Wally for looking after us so well. Ahi, Teo, not forgetting Christian our driver on a few occasions- very safe and controlled driver. If we’ve forgotten anyone it’s because you’re all wonderful - what a team. Well done. We will be recommending the hotel definitely to friends and family.

The property is very nice. Some parts are a little outdated. I would skip the spa. I got paired with a non-English speaking masseuse. Then they charge for the sauna and the only way to the gym is through the spa, which makes you not want to go. There was also a disrespectful large Asian tour group who were also very aggressive. They overtook the tours and meals. Make sure you ask if they have a lot of large groups book and avoid going then. However the reservations staff (Sebastian specifically) won’t give you straight answers and tells you to plan everything when you arrive. There’s a lot of room for improvement. The excursions team, spa and front desk don’t collaborate and they’ll make you go to them all separately for everything you have questions about.

When you get it all together like this place everything just rocks. Great food, great service, bar was really good, and excursions great. We are retired and take 3-4 major trips a year, always staying at the best place we can find. This is as good as it gets.

We stayed at a variety of hotels during our recent month long trip through South America and Easter Island. The Nayara Hangaroa was without a doubt the best. The rooms were excellent, very comfortable. Great showers(rare in most of the South America hotels). Fantastic food at the hotel. Had a great excursion(Astronomy and grilled fish with local music.). The manager at the hotel was extremely helpful and even came to our aid when our tour company abandoned us and we needed transport to the airport. Can't say too much about this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Nayara Hangaroa. Great staff & food & beverages. Nice pool & rooms. They didn't have a tv in our room but that was ok because we were busy. They help you & provide for sightseeing the Island. Very handy & great tour guides.

You can’t put in a few words about this hotel. Our main comment is the staff. They couldn’t do enough for you. From the front desk to housekeeping. Shout out to our servers, Carlos and Rafael. They were wonderful. Daniella at the spa amazing. And loved talking with Tau Mana about his family history.

Jorge (the GM) and his team provided us with excellent service during our stay. I would also like to commend Vakia (sp?) and Melissa from the management team and Sofia who was our waiter for dinner on multiple evenings. They were all kind and provided excellent service with a smile. Tip: Add some extra nights to your visit so you can take time to slow down and enjoy the mellow pace of the island.

The hotel is older, but in tip top shape. Grounds are beautiful, well kept. Many birds on the grounds. The staff is wonderful! Very attentive and very helpful. They make the place warm and wonderful. Food and beverages are what you expect from a 5 star hotel, and plentiful. We were there for 3 nights and the each meal was different, even the breakfast buffet. Seafood was local and fresh, as well as skillfully prepared. Nice pool and excursions to see the Moai were offered.

This resort advertises itself as a 5 star resort with prices that match. Do not expect to receive anything close to a 5 star level of customer service or attention to detail. Check-in was handled well and the bed is very comfortable but the level of cleanliness in the room was not at the standard I would expect from a 5 star resort and never go to the restraint or bar hungry or thirsty as you will wait a long time to receive either.

This eco friendly hotel was exceptional! Very comfortable room and first class food with great service. The location is right next to the sea, has a choice of beautiful restaurants, swimming pool, tranquil spa and daily tours in quality vehicles to see everything the island has to offer. Thoroughly recommend this resort for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
