急遽１日追加の滞在になってしまったが快く受け入れてくれて本当に嬉しかった。

Proximity to the center and the railway station- just a 3 min walk. Hosts are really nice and treat like a family and they made really amazing breakfast.

Die Gastgeber waren extrem hilfsbereit, gaben viele Tipps und haben uns alle Wünsche erfüllt.

Immersa nella natura e fuori dal casino del centro

Bij aankomst kregen we op twee aparte momenten te horen—zowel van de eigenaar als van de eigenares—dat onze twee geboekte kamers bezet waren. Als alternatief kregen we twee andere kamers die volgens hen "geüpgraded" zouden zijn. Helaas waren deze kamers een grote teleurstelling. De wc was vies (zie foto) en in een van de kamers zat de klamboe vol met gaten. De foto's op de website kwamen absoluut niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Het plan was om de volgende dag te vragen om de oorspronkelijk geboekte kamers te bekijken, maar helaas kregen we dezelfde avond een bericht waardoor we onze verblijf vroegtijdig moesten afbreken. In overleg met de eigenaar wilde hij uiteindelijk nog één nacht extra in rekening brengen en hebben we voor de andere nacht geld teruggekregen. Toevallig wierp ik tijdens het uitchecken nog een blik op de kamer die we eigenlijk hadden moeten krijgen; deze zag er wél heel mooi uit. Erg jammer we niet de kamer hebben gekregen dat we hadden geboekt.

Accommodatie is niet rolstoel toegankelijk.

Nous avons fait le bon choix avec cette guesthouse : emplacement idéale à 5 min du centre d’Ella tout en étant en pleine nature, les hôtes très gentils et accueillant et super petit déjeuner ! Nous avons même pu faire un cours de cuisine pour préparer un petit déjeuner Sri Lankais (Dhal et rotti), super expérience ☺️

Locatie was top. Mooi in het groen, terwijl je zo in het centrum van Ella bent. Hele lieve eigenaar die alles voor je wil doen. Ontbijt was afwisselend!

Harde kussens. Badkamer was een beetje rommelig met een houten plank in een kozijn. Wel lekkere warme douche trouwens.

Great stay in a comfy room in a quiet location in Ella. The room was perfect, clean and had everything we needed. AC was not available at the property, however it wasn’t needed as it is cooler in Ella. Only a 5 minute walk to the main road, great location. The owners were incredibly kind. They did our laundry perfectly and took us to Arugam Bay, stopping along the way for some view spots. Highly recommend this stay.

Eramos 5, nos quedamos en la habitación familiar y nos encantó. Habitación espaciosa y muy limpia. Entorno muy chulo a 5 min andando del centro de Ella. Los dueños son super agradables y nos ayudaron con todo. Nos dio pena estar solo una noche, lo recomendamos!!

We had a very pleasant stay in Ella. The location was beautiful with amazing views and a calm atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was also excellent with good variety and great taste throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we truly enjoyed our time there.

The breakfast was really good, and the service was excellent. The room was very clean, and the environment was calm, peaceful, and pleasant.

Sehr nah an Ella aber nicht zu sehr im Trubel. Das Frühstück wurde immer frisch zubereitet und war vielfältig und jeden Tag anders. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Haben einen Roller bei ihnen gemietet ohne Probleme& ziemlich günstig und auch die Safari und Anfahrt zu Udawalawe organisiert zu fairem Preis.

All in all war es wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt. Mini Kritik aber das wird überall so sein: es ist relativ hellhörig und man hört einige Tiere. Aber sonst super

Die Lage

Man muss die schweren Koffer über Treppen tragen. Die Zimmer haben nach Schimmel gerochen, Preis-Leistung war ganz schlecht und die Zimmer haben anders als auf dem Bild ausgeschaut.

La chambre était tres jolie et très agréable. L'emplacement parfait et l'hôte super. Bref on recommande !

Nice lokation for the Yala Safari. Nice bog pool to cool of after the safaris Breakfast was fine too. Lots of sweet rabbits in the backyard. Quiet surroundings.

The dinner was not to good.

De locatie is super. Je wordt wakker met uitzicht op groen en ook het hotel zelf heft veel groen, hangmatten en verschillende kamers met veranda’s. Het is rustig en toch heel dicht bij de drukke straten. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel.

Beetje koude douche

Logement calme dans la nature tout en étant proche des rues animées. Idéal également pour ceux qui arrivent en train. Le propriétaire a été notre taxi pour rejoindre notre étape suivante.

Villa Eden Paradise was a lovely place to stay! The host was super kind and made us feel welcome right from the start. The room was comfortable and cozy. Everything about our stay was relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend! Please feed and pet the little neighbor's cat - she is super sweet.

Lovely surroundings and helpful, friendly staff. The garden has such a great variety of tropical fruit trees and the rooms are comfortable.

Such a beautiful place with such nice people! Away from the hustle and bustle, you can look directly into the greenery from the terrace.Only a 5-minute walk from the train station and a 10-minute walk to the town center. There were five of us with three children in the family room, which was perfect. The breakfast is formidable with fresh fruit from their own garden and much more. My son and my husband had a birthday during our stay and received a cake from the host couple. Super nice! The host organized a great tour to a waterfall and drove us to our next destination. Everyone is very, very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back! A clear recommendation!

Great location, helpful staff, and a very cute dog!

It’s a little tricky to find if you’re arriving at night, but the staff were very helpful and waited until we arrived.

A bit hard to find at first, it's a hidden oasis that offers good accommodation in a beautiful setting. It's in a good location, 10 minutes walk to the centre of Ella, far enough to get away from the night time party noise. The breakfast was amazing, worth the extra money, with home made marmalade, pancakes, eggs, avocados, fruits, homemade juice and lots of other things.

Die Lage war ideal, 8 min. zu Fuß zum Zentrum. Hatte ein Mückennetz und der Host war freundlich.

Das Bad hat leider gestunken und die Bettwäsche war fleckig.

Great location, quiet tropical paradise only 2 minutes walk from station and Main Street. Family run with excellent service, providing detailed friendly driver for trips out including waterfalls. Outstanding local breakfast.

No problem for us but there are steps leading down. Worth the short walk as you are then insert tree canopy with stunning views.

The staff were really friendly, helpful. The room was pretty comfortable, able to fit 6 pax with the bed arrangements. We even managed to ask for an additional mattress free of charge because a friend of mine was on the bigger side. The room had a separate toilet and bath which made it more convenient for all of us to get ready. Hot water was nice and plenty of drinking water in the room. They had a super cute golden retriever, very friendly and playful.

The road going in is very narrow, no sign boards for drivers to locate it. Would recommend improving those aspects.

Great room for the family, Wasantha and his wife were very friendly and knowledgable. They made breakfast for us early when we needed to leave for a tour. We had a continental and Sri Lankan breakfast, both were delicious!!

It was a great location, clean rooms with a fan The owners were so nice and helpful! We were able to book a safari with them and he took us out for the day to Udawaduwe which was amazing

The surroundings are beautiful and the rooms are very clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

It was noisy at night and in the mornings. The hosts dog barked a lot and at night music from the bars was very loud.

This family run guest house felt like home with the warmth from the hosts. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk from station and town. We did this easily with our toddler despite the rain. Well priced. We didn’t have breakfast here but it looked great and most others did. The host also kindly dropped us into town during the rain.

A fridge in the room as we are travelling with a toddler this would help. Steps down to the guest house fine for us but maybe not those with decreased mobility

Locatie is fijn, op 5 min lopen vanaf t centrum. Daardoor hoor je ‘s avonds wel wat uitgaansgeluiden. Overdag rust, heerlijk genieten, fijne veranda waar ook ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Ontbijt is trouwens top, varieert elke dag, combi lokaal en westers omeletje. 5 dollar pp. Hosts zijn zeer behulpzaam; willen graag allerlei dingen voor je regelen; laundry service, taxi, tourtjes. Zelf gun ik de mensen in t dorp ook wat klandizie 😉

Muy buena ubicación, a menos de 5 minutos de la calle principal pero en un sitio tranquilo bastante alejado del ruido. Sitio bastante acogedor y personal agradable. Desayuno tan abundante que no lo pudimos terminar.

Como comentario, aunque no negativo, si pagas con tarjeta te aplican el 3% de comisión que les aplica a ellos el banco, así que si te la quieres ahorrar es recomendable pagar en efectivo. Por otro lado, la presión de la ducha muy floja, aunque después de varios días en Sri Lanka parece algo bastante común en todos los hoteles.

Very nice small hotel surrounded by trees. We had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was delicious and rich. The property is very close to the train station and to all the restaurants and shops. The owner Wasantha is a great person and gave us a lot of tips around Ella. He recommended us as a cooking class at Honey Bee which was also perfect. At the end of our stay Wasantha drove us to Arugam Bay and 6 days later from Arugam bay to Udawalawe. He is not only a great host, but also an excellent driver

Prachtige locatie! Mooie tuin met bloemen en vers fruit aan de bomen. Het pand is mooi en met smaak ingericht. Het is wat moeilijk te vinden, maar dan wordt je wel beloond. Voor Sri Lanka is het erg schoon. De eigenaar brengt je een welkomstdrankje, er is vers water en een koelkast om te gebruiken. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd, deels Europees (toast met boter en jam) en deels Sri Lankaans met vers fruit in koffie of thee. De locatie is op loopafstand van de straat met alle restaurants, ideaal. De eigenaar bracht ons met de tuktuk naar een theefrabriek en naar de Nine Arch Bridge, wat allebei dichtbij is.

De kamer had alle faciliteiten die je nodig had. De douche was fijn en lekker warm. De eigenaar en zijn personeel zijn heel aardig en behulpzaam. De locatie is dicht bij de hoofdstraat van Ella. Het is ongeveer 7 min lopen. Tegenover zit een eettentje die ook heel goed is. Je zit daar in de rust, maar hebt de drukte ook dichtbij in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader om hier te boeken.

Lastig te vinden de locatie. Als je een eettentje ziet dan rechts de trap af.

We were only in Ella for one night, but this was the perfect place to stop over before our 10-hour train to Colombo. We were greeted with tea and spent the afternoon relaxing in the hammocks outside, surrounded by lush green landscape – it was gorgeous. Villa Eden Paradise is a family-run place in a prime location for exploring Ella, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful stay.

Rooms potentially need a bit of updating in terms of decor but it was charming nonetheless, especially for the price!

Location and surroundings were stunning. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean. Nice hot showers. We had a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast prepared for us too.

That we couldn’t stay longer because our trip was too short.

The staff were really nice and attentive you would be like lying on the lounger outside and the host would give you bananas and cake !

Nice large family room. Clean with hot shower. It’s a short walk to the bars, shops and restaurants of Ella but far enough away to be nice and quiet. The family running the guest house were very friendly and breakfast was fantastic. Would have loved to have stayed another night or two and would definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful and relaxing place a short walk from the bustle of the main street. I was so glad I booked here and not on the main street, which is noisy and unpleasant. Large, comfortable room and bathroom; spotlessly clean. Mosquito nets provided, comfortable beds, fridge and kettle in room. Kind host who made us feel very welcome.

The shower did not have hot water but this was not a problem for us as the temperature was warm. Be aware there are steps leading from the road to the guesthouse which may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.

The location was perfect! The facility was so nice and everything was so clean.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der Villa Eden Paradise! Super nette Gastgeber, bestes Frühstück bisland in Sri Lanka und tolle Lage. Ca. 5min zu Fuss von der Main Street entfernt. Ein Highlight war auch die tolle Terrasse mit Jungle Feeling.
