Habitación grande, la mujer de la casa muy amable.

El alojamiento no está muy bien señalizado y tiene una cuesta INMENSA y empinada para acceder. Hay que tenerlo en cuenta porque con lasñchilas de viaje etc... Se vuelve difícil. El baño no estaba muy limpio la verdad, no se podía abrir las ventanas del cuarto porque había todo bichos. Las almohadas malísimas.

La ubicación es buena, cerca del centro pero aislada del bullicio de la calle principal. La habitación es amplia.

Las instalaciones están muy descuidadas. El baño estaba muy sucio, el agua sale amarilla, había muchas moscas dentro y fuera. No nos pareció nada barato. Íbamos a estar dos noches pero la segunda la pasamos en otro alojamiento.

Great location away from the centre but a very steep last 50 m. Too steep for tuk tuk sometimes. Lovely hosts. Good breakfast

Grotty shower. Water goes all over bathroom and no decent mat to prevent water being walked all over the bedroom. Property was on a hill so very steep climb to get to accomodation- Not ideal for people with mobility issues. Towel so threadbare not worth drying self with.

Un lloc molt cèntric però tranquil, a dos minuts caminant del carrer principal. L’amfitriona molt amable, ella mateixa ens ha rentat la roba.

Muy cerca del centro de Ella y vistas bonitas. Tambien tienen el servicio de lavar la ropa 👌🏽 Un punto importante en el viaje. Genial.

The view of Ella rock from our room was amazing, even from in bed. The hosts were the nicest friendliest people and the breakfast was great.

The property is accessed by an extremely steep driveway. While not really an issue for us those with large suitcases may struggle. The bathroom could also do with a refresh.

Top Heaven présente l'avantage d'être a la fois proche du centre de Ella et donc de pouvoir s'y rendre en quelques minutes a pied, et suffisamment éloigné pour ne pas subir les sonos de tous les bars de la Main Street. La chambre est propre et spacieuse.. Le petit déjeuner est copieux.

Les sanitaires sont limites en terme de propreté. C'est notre 5ème Guest House sur ce circuit, c'est la première fois que l'hôte ne recherche pas à discuter, proposer. C'est dommage

The panoramic view of Kandy is really good but you must take a tuk tuk or walk to get to the city. Isn’t nearby shops or restaurants. The breakfast was good enough

The AC wasn’t working properly so the whole room felt very damp. Even my clothes that were out of my suitcase were damp

Our hosts were very friendly and helpfull. We had the budget room, our van broke, but she arranged an other one. Very good location. In the garden a lot of beautifull birds…

Nice and close to town. The breakfast was exceptional and it had great views. The owners were lovely and very friendly.

Our bathroom kept flooding. We were up in the middle of the night mopping up water. There was a strange odour coming from the bathrooms. We paid for 2 nights but left after one. The owner was fixing the bathroom problem the day we left.

Frokosten var helt fantastisk. Homestayen ligger veldig nær sentrum og har en fantastisk utsikt. Verten var kjempehyggelig og vil følte oss velkommen. Vi leide en scooter hos dem, dette var helt perfekt!

Avløpet i dusjen er åpent slik at det forekommer en del skadedyr på badet (kakerlakk, maur, etc). Ingen varmt vann i dusjen (som gikk helt greit!) Rommet var som forventet, i forhold til prisen fikk vi mye for pengene😁

The host is the best, tye food is great. They will make you feel welcomed. Glad I chose this place. Special mention to Ruby (the pet), she's a doll.

The place itself is great, near to everything and still peaceful. The rooms are nice, we had a balcony with a view of the whole area where we could just relax. Breakfast is delicious and everyday a bit different.

The bathroom needs more attention, the drain was a bit stinky and water pressure of our shower was weak and when the neighbours started to shower, we had none.

Fantastic location - a short walk up out of the centre of town so you’re close to everything but out of the hustle and bustle with a beautiful view. The owners and their family were all lovely. Great breakfast. Nice spot to sit with a view during the day. Loved it.

Výhled z balkónu byl a super.

Původne jsme si rezervovali levný pokoj v přízemí, ale ten byl naprosto nevyhovující. Betonová podlaha, zatuchlost, plíseň. Po domluvě jsme se přestěhovali do pokoje s balkonem. Ten byl relativně v pořádku, ale snesl by pořádný úklid. Tady se uklízí stylem co je mokré to je čisté. Ubytování je na kopci, nám to nevadilo, ale někomu možná ano.

The room itself is a bit outdated, but still has everything you need. It’s located near the well-known Chill Cafe and a nice tuktuk ride away from the 9 Arch Bridge, Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock and tea plantations. The family is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delicious and you can enjoy it with the best view on the mountains. I even had a chance to suntan in the garden.

I liked everything, just know that it may be a bit complicated to reach whoever has a injury etc. It’s on a steep hill you have to climb, but really doable!

Dobrá lokalita a vstříctní majitelé

Na stěnách byla pliseň, bylo to v pokoji cítit, špinavá koupelna, chyběla skeíň na oblečení

Unica nota positiva: la posizione. Vicino al centro, alla stazione dei treni e alle fermate dei bus. Ciò ha reso facile spostarsi e andare a visitare Ella Rock, Little Adam's Peak, le cascate Ravana ecc. Di contro questa vicinanza lo rende poco silenzioso quando i locali di Ella sparano musica da discoteca a tutto volume... perché il centro di Ella non è nient'altro che un susseguirsi di locali trash per turisti, con "buttadentro" ogni 2 metri.

Dire sporco è fare un complimento. Il bagno probabilmente non è stato mai pulito, al limite sciacquato con il doccino. Sul lavandino e sulla tazza del wc c'erano incrostazioni nere e ragnatele con ragni annessi. Dopo due giorni lo scarico del wc, ovvero un tubo infilato nel pavimento e fissato con nastro isolante, ha iniziato a restituire ... di tutto. Cuscini e asciugamani puzzavano di muffa. Per coprirsi un plaid anche quello maleodorante. Acqua calda nemmeno a pensarci... almeno finché non è arrivato un gruppo di francesi che evidentemente si è fatto sentire, e miracolosamente acqua calda fu. Le pareti erano piene di muffa, nel bollitore c'era acqua stagnante chissà da quanto... e nonostante ci sarebbe altro da dire penso sia sufficiente per cercare altrove.

Lovely room with the perfect location. The room was spacious and very clean. The owner was very friendly, sweet and even prepared us an amazing breakfast for the 2 days that we stayed. The balcony was the best part since everytime that we got up , we could see beautiful and green mountains. I really recommend and thank you !

The hosts are very nice and helpful. We rented their scooter for a day and they also good offer laundry service. The view from the room was incredible and everything was very comfortable. Perfect location for lots of things to do in Ella. ✨🧡🌞

Ist ein Stück hoch zu fahren, aber lohnt sich

Veškerý personál byl velmi milý, ochotný. Skvělé služby prádelny, perfektní kuchyně, dali jsme si večeři a byla úžasná.

Bohužel jsme si nevšimli a vybrali si špatný pokoj. Doporučuji vybrat jiný než Budget pokoj, protože ten je hodně zastrčený, hodně vlhký, s plísní na stěnách a bez výhledu. Věřím, že ostatní pokoje jsou mnohem hezčí a že ty v patře jsou výjimečné.

Super séjour ! Top Heaven est très bien situé dans Ella, la chambre est simple mais propre et la terrasse est magnifique! Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Merci encore à nos hôtes pour leur accueil chaleureux

Die letzten Meter vor dem Haus sind tatsächlich sehr steil. Aber dementsprechend sind Lage und Aussicht toll! Gleiches gilt für die reizende Versorgung durch die Betreiber-Familie. Neben einem guten und reichhaltigen Frühstück bekommt man - wenn gewünscht - für einen mehr als günstigeren Preis auch ein ausgezeichnetes Abendessen. Und in direkter Nachbarschaft liegt der Ella Spice Garden, bei dem man Cooking Lessons buchen kann. Also alles optimal.

Im zu meinem Zimmer gehörenden Badezimmer war einiges undicht (wodurch der Boden nie ganz trocken wurde) und müsste dringend in Ordnung gebracht werden.

2월도 우기 끝자락이 되어 1층은 곰팡이 냄새가 아주 아주 살짝남. 거슬리진 않으나 내가 민감한편. 그러나 다른 장점에 비하면 미미한편, 추천하는 숙소!

The hosts were lovely, the breakfast was great, and it was lovely sitting on the veranda looking out over the hills. All felt very chill.

Very steep climb to get there, which could be challenging for some. Couldn’t help feeling a warning might be helpful. Could use a little tlc, like the bathroom lock didn’t lock.

Está cerca de la calle principal pero no en ella. Y aún así escuchas la música de los locales de la calle principal hasta las 2 am. El desayuno es muy completo.y te lo sirven en una terraza muy agradable .Te da la energía que necesitas para subir y bajar la cuesta que lleva a este hotel del 28% de desnivel. Un tuk tuk no sube. Tendrás que llegar tú cargando con tu equipaje.

La limpieza reguleras, sobre todo en el baño , y los mosquitos. Nos comieron a pesar de la mosquitera. Claro, estaba bastante rota. La cama terrible. Hacia ruido con cada micro movimiento. Un horror.

The view from the house is the best in Ella! You are surrounded by nature and will see so many local animals enjoying the nature. We were in a walkable distance from restaurants and shops and because the accommodations is located a few altimeters above the main street we were still able to enjoy our quiet away from the busy night life. I didn't know how busy Ella can get at night and since we were planning hikes early in the morning I was really pleasantly surprised that we were able to avoid all the party noise and have a good night sleep - most accommodation on the main street probably wouldn't be a good choice for us. The staff is so kind and helped us with everything! The breakfast was fresh and a great start of the day.

El porche de la entrada donde se desayuna es muy agradable. Y las vistas son bonitas. Lugar tranquilo y no muy lejano del centro. La calle principal tiene mucho jaleo, bullicio y tráfico horrible, en el hotel apenas se oye. En menos de diez minutos puedes estar en la estación de tren.

El baño no estaba muy limpio. Tiene una gran cuesta para acceder aunque te proporciona buenas vistas

Very nice family. I loved everything about the stay. Very hospitable host, arranged everything and more. It really felt like home. She even catered to my dietary restrictions as best as she could. Beautiful view of the mountains as well! Highly recommend

Está al lado de la calle principal y la habitación tiene buenas vistas. El desayuno estaba bueno.

La primera noche nos encontramos con las sábanas super sucias, se lo dijimos a la casera y a la mañana siguiente fue a comprarnos sábanas nuevas y nos las cambió. El baño necesita más cuidado, no estaba muy limpio. Para llegar al hostal hay que subir una cuesta con bastante pendiente que quizá para algunas personas es un impedimento.

The room was clean and the hosts were soo friendly. The view is beautiful, looking out on the mountains. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

There was not enough place to charge our phones. The bathroom needs a little bit attention.

הצוות נחמדים ממש, הארוחת בוקר מעולה, החדר גדול ומואר עם נוף משוגע, המיטה ענקית ונוחה, היה נקי, והמיקום מעולה ממש על הרחוב הראשי של אלה, קרובים להכל.

אין מים חמים במקלחת, במקרה הטוב יש מים פושרים. לי אישית זה ממש קשה אז את הלילות הבאים שלי באלה סגרתי בהוסטל אחר עם מים חמים. אבל אם מים חמים הם לא אישיו עבורכם, תסגרו לינה במקום הזה! הוא באמת מעולה!
