Look at the photos of the view from the window in the morning! This is Swiss! The guy at the reception- very friendly. Nice breakfast that fills you fir the day. They gave me a room for 4 for my one I paid for cause I asked for the quietest room possible. Location- very close to everything and you can stroll in Mürren without thinking you must get back.

Nice location. The staff member was very helpful. We were there for three days and he always was doing his best to help us.

The room was kind of small and dark because of the small window with a long overhang. By unfortunate timing there was a huge school group in the hotel call four days we were there, which saw kids running up and down the hallways yelling during daylight hours.. However, blessedly they were always quiet after 9:30 at night so really not too big a problem, but kind of unusual hotel situation.

The views were phenomenal. This may be the best value for a stay in Murren. We loved the clean space, the breakfast, and the friendly staff. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Sports Chalet in Murren! t From the moment we arrived, the young man at the front desk was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly - he immediately made us feel at home. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a kitchenette that we really enjoyed using, and the renovated bathroom was a lovely touch. The breakfast was very nice, especially before our days of hiking, and the location was perfect for exploring Mürren and enjoying the incredible hiking experiences all around the area. One of our favorite moments was enjoying our own planned morning yoga class on the soft grass behind the tennis courts, surrounded by the breathtaking Swiss Alps. It was such a peaceful, exciting, and unforgettable experience! A truly warm and memorable stay. We highly recommend Sports Chalet and would love to come back!

View out the back is unbelievable. Easy access to big hikes. Breakfast had good options. The room was very small, but perfectly adequate for a pair of hikers. Like a dorm room, only smaller! It did have a really nice shared balcony.

The men's shower was clean but the shower curtain was a little funky. Not a big deal, really. Bring your own soap.

Location was great! rooms with balcony and mountain view! Breakfast was good! large selection of snacks, bread, toppings (meet, cheese, sausages), cereal, toasts. We missed the hot food - fried eggs, bacon, etc.

Man muss wissen, dass es vom Style her eine Mischung aus Hotel und Hostel ist. Einfach, zweckmässig und sauber. Die Lobby war bei unserer Ankunft nicht besetzt, Zimmerschlüssel lag aber parat. Lage super, Zimmer nach vorne mit toller Aussicht. Frühstück reichhaltig, hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

O hotel é uma mistura de Hotel com Hostel. O quarto era com camas dispostas em sequencia, não sendo possível juntar como cama casal. O banheiro e chuveiro ficam no corredor e são compartilhados. O café da manhã era muito bom e variado, gostamos muito. É um excelente hotel para ir em grupo de amigos ou solteiro, não sendo tão indicado para casais. Inclusive, éramos minoria nessa característica de hóspedes. Mas eu já sabia disso quando reservei, pois temos as fotos e informações antes, não é mesmo. Por isso, não é uma reclamação, apenas uma constatação para os próximos hóspedes terem ideia exata do que procuram e o que encontrarão.

breakfast is very good .The location is super and some rooms have mountain view. The staff of hotel are warm and kind.

The hotel facilities are a bit basic — there's no hairdryer or bath towels, so you have to bring your own.

The view is amazing! And the bed was so comfy. The location is great too, a bit off center so it's less busy but still close to the hikes and stores. And we enjoyed the free access to the swimming at the sports center.

There is no shampoo or shower gel available. So take your own. Also, there is no hand soap in the room.

Das Zimmer war grosszügig, sauber, gut gelegen. Alles in Ordnung.

Die Aussicht auf die tollen Berge direkt bom Hotel aus, wäre das Optimale gewesen. Ein pasr Schritte weg vom Hotel war dies aber möglich.

The best location right next to the mountains

The view from the room was absolutely stunning. I also played tennis during my stay, and it was easily the most scenic tennis court I have ever played on. Breakfast was good and had everything I needed, and the property was very quiet and clean.

The Sport Chalet is kind of a hybrid hostel/hotel in the center of Murren (very close to the trams down to Gimmelvald and Stechelberg and up to the Schilthorn). The rooms were a little spartan but clean and comfortable and fairly recently renovated. It was also quiet. There is also a fairly large common kitchen where you can cook and store food in the fridge. And our room opened on to a common balcony area with a stunning view of the mountains, not to mention the paragliders floating by on their descent into Lauterbrunnen Valley. The included breakfast was very good, and, in comparison to other places in Murren, this seemed like a very good deal to us. The staff were very friendly. I would stay there again quite happily.

There is no elevator ("this is the Sport Chalet" said our very fit receptionist with a wink). Otherwise, as long as you don't require daily room service and plush room furnishings, it's a great place to stay.

Una barbaridad el precio para el tipo de alojamiento. Muy, muy básico. En España no tendría ni una Estrella. El desayuno una broma.
