Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen (1970er). Hatte ein Einzelzimmer, was dann aber aus zwei Twin-Betten (80 cm breit) bestand. Erst auf Nachfrage habe ich dann aber ein Zimmer mit breiterem Bett (140cm) und einer Badewanne bekommen. Das Personal ist generell recht freundlich, aber nicht übermäßig.

Comfortable bed. Because it’s right up the top of the hill, it’s nice and quiet. Excellent and friendly staff. Great restaurant with á la carte menu for dinner. Different special set menu option daily. We had the 3 course set menu each night and it was just brilliant. Excellent presentation. Perfect portion sizes (we only just managed to finish). Fabulous flavours. Great inclusive breakfast. Great pool area. The hotel is dog friendly, but no dogs allowed in the pool area (even if they are well behaved - don’t pee, bark or swim). 300m from the Fanicular down to the lake and back. Or take the fabulous stair path and explore the little walkways and hill side architecture - wear appropriate shoes! (Flat shoes, boat shoes, trainers)
On the first night of our stay we stayed in a triple room (XL double bed and single bed). The single bed was hard (not comfortable), but the double was very comfortable with comfort topper. It would be good for the single bed to also have comfortable mattress topper. Also the bathroom was in slightly poor condition/some things needed fixing and better clean. That said, we still enjoyed our stay so much we extended for another night but moved to a double room with XL double bed. This room was slightly more modern and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and in good condition. It was also on a higher floor, so the view was even better. Still very highly recommended.

Белоснежное постельное белье и полотенца. Удобная кровать хотя немного мягкие матрасы . Удобные подушки . Уборка каждый день , хотя нужно сказать об этом на ресепшене. Персонал радушный и вежливый. Хороший кофе .
Старая мебель . Устаревший простой дизайн. Однообразный завтрак без горячих блюд. Мюсли , нарезка колбасная и сырная. Выпечка. Яйца.

Stuk meer betaald dan Booking adverteerde. Hier kwamen we pas achter bij de afschrijving van de bank. Erg kleine badkamer en kamer zelf ( ik paste bijna niet op het bed). Ontvangst was ook erg rommelig ivm het ontbreken van de receptie na 21:30, daarna als nog netjes geholpen via de telefoon.

Das Bad war etwas eng, schade hat es eine Badewanne und keine Dusche.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Die Aussicht ist bei gutem wie auch beim schlechtem Wetter sensationell. Praktisch ist auch das Ticino Ticket die man als Hotelgäste bekommt . Mann braucht kein Auto die Buslinie sind sehr gut Organisiert. Das Frühstück ist ok nicht zu viel aber auch nicht zu wenig. Pool war ok ist genau wie auf Fotos. Vorsichtig mit denn Liegenstuhl die klappen zusammen bin selber runtergefallen. Im gross und ganze die Umgebung ist wunderschön das hotel ist halt nicht das neueste.
Das Essen im Restaurant hat mich Persönlich nicht geschmeckt. Das Zimmer war naja ok, nicht modern aber ausschreichend. Für mich war das Bett ein Alptraum viel zu Tief und unbequem. Wir sich früher abgereist .

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Przede wszystkim wyjątkowość tego hotelu polega na cudownym położeniu z widokiem na miasto i jezioro Lugano. Zaraz obok jest przystanek, z którego co 0,5 h odjeżdżają darmowe ( dzięki otrzymanej karcie) autobusy do centrum Lugano. Śniadania są smaczne i obfite z pysznymi szwajcarskimi serami. Hotel jest czysty, dodatkowym atutem jest basen zewnętrzny. Polecam z całego serca.
Hotel trochę zaniedbany, tzn. przydałaby się na pewno ogrodnik i jakiś konserwator. Brakuje miejsca, gdzie można kupić napoje np. przy basenie.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Het uitzicht is prachtig! De receptie bood zelf aan om voor ons een ontbijtpakketje te organiseren omdat we de volgende ochtend vroeg vertrokken.
Je kunt zien dat het een locatie met een historie is, dat is mooi, het is ook tijd voor een upgrade. Het is een prachtige locatie, daar valt veel uit te halen. Het heeft nieuwe liefde, energie nodig om de oude glorie weer in ere te herstellen.

Het minst waren de parkeerfaciliteiten. Parkeren langs een redelijk drukke weg voelt niet goed. Gelukkig kon ik mijn hybride aan de laadpaal hangen waardoor ik uiteindelijk een uitstekende privéplek had 🤫.

Zimmer war unter dem Restaurant. Dadurch hörte man ein ständiges Rücken der Stühle und Tische bis spät abends und früh Morgens. Abfluss war verstopft und Ventilator kaputt. Wir blieben darum nur 1 Nacht. Am Vortag hiess es es gibt keine anderen Zimmer und als wir füher auscheckten wollten sie uns ein anderes Zimmer geben…. Das Essen war auch überhaupt nicht gut. Nie mehr.
