Great location - easy to access - incredibly clean - clear communication - amazing shower - really comfy bed !!

The bathroom was a little too cool and the towel radiator would not come on - this really was a small issue though

Neatly made bed, bright well decorated room, very clean!

The room was spacious and with the basic facilities needed. The atmosphere was comfortable.

The heating/ radiator was on a timer and stopped working in midnight. I felt cold to be honest with you. I would like to have a constant heating through out. My soap dispenser was empty in the shower.

Lovely location very clean beautiful rooms. Room was much bigger than I expected it to be would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. Not far from the beach close to shops

I liked the room so clean and big and the welcome was great too.

I didnot like the stairs was so horrible especially with someone have a big suit bag 🎒, and the noise 😑 from downstairs restaurant was awful

Nice quiet place to stay, none of the rooms seem connected so no issues with noise. It was nice and clean and in a good location. Not far to walk to gunwharf quays and also to the main bars. Nice bar downstairs with food

Later checkout like 11am instead of 10.30 and no option to check in earlier and leave bags

Going up metal stairs to the property, the shower was not very good

Location. Comfortable bed. Clean. Large good quality towels.

Bathroom was freezing cold, especially the floor. The small towel rail was not sufficient to warm the room, even though we turned it on every two hours. An icy blast came in through the air extraction. Heating in the bedroom was one small radiator under the window which went off at midnight. The weather wasn’t even that cold and I piled my clothes on top of the duvet. Chose this room for a bigger sink but no plug in the sink to run water for shaving :( Both mugs were chipped and one of the drawers of the bedside cupboard was falling apart. We will definitely not be back.

Good location, bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. It was warm and had no issues with the hot water. 24hr ease of access (if you can do stairs).

No flexibility with check in or out times. No one comes in to top up toilet roll, tea or coffee during the stay. So not ideal for more than a few nights. Also no hand soap for the sink in the bathroom so had to use shower gel when washing hands.

Large room with excellent bathroom facilities and a large comfortable bed, in a great location

Initial room had a problem with a bedside lamp and a radiator that would not turn off. However, the host quickly switched us to an alternative room, hence sorting the issues promptly. Would have liked a few more tea bags and milk.

Good location, not too pricey.

Heating didn’t work and it was freezing - could see our breath, raised to staff on three separate occasions with promises to do something about it but nothing done

Being super fussy… kettle has too much scale in to use… also it would be good to have some signs in corridor to locate room 5 (it’s a bit tucked away!)

Ease of access, fabulous pub and restaurant below, quiet at night, comfy beds, close to everything, street parking easy and cheap

Couldn't score staff as there were none! Annoying when we arrived early but no one to ask if we could get in. Was fairly expensive but was the GSR so maybe inflated. Fantastic location, very close to everything.

Clean and comfortable stay above a lovely cocktail bar. Walking distance from central Portsmouth.

It was a last minute booking as my previous booking was cancelled. It was perfect for what I needed, A place to sleep after my gig. didn’t get to use the facilities that much because I was in a rush but everything looked great bed was comfortable. Next time I’m in Portsmouth I will definitely be staying there again

The room was large, with a comfortable bed and I enjoyed three good nights' sleep during my stay. The property is located in a quiet side street with very little noise at night and I could not hear anything from the bar/restaurant on the ground floor. Although the property is self check-in the staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed a good meal there on my first evening. I would have no hesitation in staying here again. Although breakfast is not available at the property there are plenty of options a short walk away on Southsea.

The rooms are accessed via an external metal staircase so a little care is needed when carrying suitcases.

Really good location, easy to find, place was clean, Main issue relates to the temperature the heaters were all of the time with the windows open and fan switched on, on arrival. Without any means of turning the heating off it was difficult to sleep in the heat/ noise outdoors and fan Otherwise it would’ve been a really pleasant stay,

Good location - very quiet back away from the sea front. Really pretty street. Size of room and shower bed all great.

The only thing was the heating was on full blast and it wasn’t cold, so I had to have the fan and the window open. You can’t control the thermostat yourself. The heating went off about midnight and came back on about 6am.

Lovely spacious room with comfortable sofa and tea and coffee facilities appreciated. Good location from which to explore Portsmouth.

Room was a bit warm. Opening the window midweek was fine. No noise.

No hot water from shower on arrival. Parking is difficult and costly!

The Shower was not that comfortable as expected. Only a Overhead Shower Head is a bit difficult for a Persons who doesn‘t want to wash their hair

Only one stool in the room, no other chairs. Wall quite thin to next door bedroom with floorboards moving as neighbours moved around.

Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war herzlich, freundlich und zuvorkommend – sie haben sich viel Zeit für uns genommen und uns das Gefühl gegeben, wirklich willkommen zu sein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter, die uns problemlos Ladestrom für unsere Elektro-Motorräder zur Verfügung gestellt haben. Dies hat unsere Reise deutlich erleichtert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und wären am liebsten länger geblieben! Diese Unterkunft können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen – vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

A lovely place, delicious food, great service, friendly staff and great accomodation.

Room was light, spacious, it had anything we needed for our stay, very comfortable bed, lovely shower, if you stay here also try the food downstairs, we had steak and eggs for breakfast, it was superb,

Quartos impecáveis, decoração moderna, com tudo o que é necessário. Camas maravilhosassss!! Muito confortáveis. Tinha uma kitchinete à parte. Dá muito jeito, apesar de não ter fogão, mas tem tudo o resto. Wc com um tamanho adequado, confortável. Adoramos tudo! Voltaremos com certeza. Recomendamos a 100%

Great location and comfortable bed and extremely clean. Cooler once both bathroom and bedroom windows were open. Fan provided.

Unfortunately only a rain shower head attached to ceiling. Meaning I couldn't shower without getting my hair wet. (Long frizzy hair)

The room was nice. Bathroom big and spacious. Brilliant shower. TV was good.

No staff. No change of towels. Had to make own bed. Access and egress on a narrow staircase on the outside of the building. Difficult to carry a suitcase up to the room Even more difficult to carry a suitcase down.

Very clean room and easy self service access. Comfortable bed and the room had all the necessities.

It was fine for me, but the fire escape style stairs up to the rooms might be tricky if you had a lot of luggage or children.

Loud Aircon front of the window disturbing all night. Shower door is too small. Also we had some cleaning issues.

The rooms were very big and lovely and clean too.

The stairs would be the only negative as they are steep and metal but we were warned about that before we checked in. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issue though.

Steep steps to gain access to the rooms

Really clean, well equipped room - we needed a base for the night and this was perfect. Safe, secure and comfortable. Pub downstairs did great food too! Would happily return in the future.

No onsite parking (but parking is available nearby).

Pleasantly surprised to have our own room and the children have their own. Fans being on when we arrived was a great touch. And kitchen was great!

Being picky the shower head was directly above so hard to avoid wetting your hair.

The rooms are lovely. When the pub downstairs is open it is very nice and food lovely, good value.

The room was quite warm but a fan was provided. It was a little bit noisy with an extractor fan outside but nothing that spoilt sleep etc.

Location was great and relatively quiet. Shops and bars nearby and easy to get to. Was also handy that parking was free for 2 hours on the street outside and a couple of minutes walk to meter parking that we used via the RingGo app for the longer stay.

It was a warm day and although there was a fan in the room it was quite noisy. Then we had a choice of either shutting the window or leaving the window open and dealing with the noise from some machinery outside. Opted for the latter as the fan was already a bit noisy. So sleep wasn't great although might have been fantastic if it was not so warm outside.
