The accommodation is very clean and in a great location. It is within walking distance of two metro stations, which makes it very easy to get around the city. The hotel is located in an ideal central area, with many of the main tourist attractions and interesting places within easy reach. The location is very convenient for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend this accommodation to other travelers.

В номерах была сырость. Я не остался ночевать вообще, так как были с ребенком. Попросил сделать возврат денег, мне сказали обратиться с заявкой через букинг. Я обратился, на словах все прошло хорошо, но возврат я так и не полуичл. Кроме этого цена не соответствует качеству. В этой цене есть много вариантов отелей гораздо лучшего качества.

Location was perfect for my visit plan. Staff were exceptionally helpful! Especially Coco! I would recommend anyone visiting Beijing as a hutong stay !

The property was clean and comfortable. Excellent location being within walking distance of the forbidden city and close to lots of good restaurants and shops. All the staff were friendly and helpful - especially Ellie! Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Beijing!

Die Betten waren bequem und das Zimmer sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben ein etwas größeres Zimmer bekommen ohne nachzufragen. Die Lage war super.

Das Hotel sieht nicht mehr aus wie auf den Bildern. Es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Möbel abgenutzt, Fugen wirken dreckig, …). In der Dusche ist das Wasser nicht gut abgelaufen.

O facto de ter pequeno almoço. O facto de ter chuveiro separado do resto da casa de banho e da sanita ser do estilo Japonês.

Very dirty. Not cleaned.

Location in a hutong and the rooftop for breakfast (if does not rain).

After the first night, the water was coming out from the toilet, we requested to the staff fix it what they did it very quickly but they did not cleaned the floor of the bathroom although we requested every days; they did it during our fourth day (we were 5 nights) so we had dirty water in our bathroom for 4 days which is unacceptable. In addition, they did not clean the rest of the bathroom but they changed the towels every days. We hope you take into accounts these comments in order to improve in the future.

Ubicación correcta.

Habitación muy pequeña sin ventanas, vàter atorado y olor a heces en la habitación. Mucha peste todo el hotel. Personal poco amable, desayuno muy justo. No recomiendo para nada.

La localización, en un hutong típico. Sentías que estabas en un barrio de gente autóctona.

Team are so nice and helpful

The location of the hotel is nearby the Metro Station (ca. 800m)

Unfortunately, the rooms have not been correctly cleaned up (only waste bin has been emptied and fresh towels [not for hands] replaced) und breakfast was very limited. When we asked for salted butter, we received a simple "NO". The hotel is ideal for "backpackers" but not for tourists with some basic expectations.

The location of the hotel is fairly close to Dongsi Metro which is very useful for getting around the city. The alley itself has some history to it.

全て期待以上でした、まぁまぁ小道にある事がビックリしたがホテル的には完璧でした。

ドアの防音性が悪すぎね、朝から通路で喋る人達の声が聞こえで寝にくいですね。まあ、偶々やけど。

Clean and staff is polite. Mia was particularly lovely. Tube is about 15-20 mins walk and from that stop you can get basically everywhere. If you prefer walking expect about 1 hour for the forbiden city.

The room was extremely humid, to the point of being uncomfortable to sleep in and it wasn’t due to the weather.

Super fint hotel, hvor tingene fungere. Værelserne har super aircondition, som ikke rammer en, når man sover. Der er gratis vand og kaffe på hotellet, hvilket er et plus. Meget venlig og flink personale. Super beliggenhed ift metro og at komme rundt i byen.

Morgenmaden var fin og personalet knoklede for at gøre det godt, men passede ikke helt til vores vestlige smag.

We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel in Beijing. Located in Lishi Hutong, it is within easy walking distance of Wangfujing, with plenty of excellent local restaurants nearby serving delicious food at very reasonable prices. The hotel itself is small, cosy, and full of character. The reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. The hotel's adorable cat was an unexpected bonus and quickly became one of the highlights of the stay for our children. Our room was modern, clean, and well equipped, with comfortable air conditioning and everything we needed. The hot water pressure was a little weak, but it was only a minor issue. We especially appreciated the complimentary laundry facilities, which were incredibly useful after long, exhausting days exploring the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and other attractions. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located base in Beijing.

Die Lage war super, nicht weit zur Metro. Das Personal spricht Englisch und ist sehr hilfsbereit, zum Beispiel beim Buchen vom Didi. Sehr schöne Terrasse zum Frühstücken!

Super helpful staff, we arrived super early in the morning after a 12hrs flight and they did their best to provide a room for us asap before check in time!

A nice place to stay, the cat pudding is a plus. 😀 The staff was very helpful and we had a great pleasure to discuss with John during our breakfast who is very professional.

Ich musste spontan nach dem Peking bleiben und habe dieses Hotel sehr kurzfristig ausgesucht und gebucht. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht, es liegt mitten in einem Hutong und es ist sehr schön ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Ich habe nichts auszusetzen. Alles war gut!

Location is amazing- local restaurants are few steps away, you also have McDonalds and Starbuck in walking distance, Forbidden city is also short drive from the hotel. Breakfast is basic, but tasteful. Staff is very nice and speaks english.

Cleaning could be improved, also cleaning lady walked inside bathroom eventhough it was occupied by my husband.

Pudding, the hotel manager. She's so cute and chill. (She's a cat.) Comfortable bed, sheets, and pillows. The room is also very clean.

Non è un albergo in stile occidentale, ma è molto accogliente, per qualsiasi necessità basta chiedere (con un traduttore alla mano), la colazione è nel loro stile con la signora che cucina in diretta. Abbiamo avuto dei problemi e li hanno subito risolti,hanno sempre pulito la camera. Tutti sono molto gentili. La posizione è comoda e alcune attrazioni si possono raggiungere a piedi con un buon passo in una mezz’ora . Si trova in un Hutong , molto tranquillo vicino a delle scuole . Dopo mezza giornata ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra !

Orario della colazione andrebbe un po’ anticipato in caso di partenza per escursioni.

This was one of our favorite places to stay during our trip to Beijing! The hotel beautifully captures the charm of Beijing's traditional hutong culture. Its unique design combines historic character with modern comfort. The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent facilities and attentive service. There are also plenty of local restaurants and food stalls nearby, making it easy to enjoy authentic Beijing cuisine and the lively neighborhood atmosphere. A special mention goes to the hotel's adorable cat, Pudding, who made our stay even more enjoyable.!The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious, with a great variety of choices to start the day. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary keychains gifted by the hotel. The children absolutely loved them.It was such a thoughtful gesture that helped create wonderful memories of our time in Beijing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Beijing. Highly recommended! 🐱❤️🏮✨

Freundliches Personal, Kommunikation in Englisch vergleichsweise gut. Schöne Terasse zum Frühstücken. Lage ist nahe zu Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Ältere abgenutzte Ausstattung. Frühstück ist begrenzt. Die Kategorie scheint in Booking zu hoch angesetzt. Kleines Hotel, viele Zimmer ohne Fenster oder nur kleine Fenster mit wenig Licht.

The staff were exceptional, the location was also awesome, we didn’t use any metro and just cycled everywhere or used DiDi.

Slightly older building with mold in the bathroom but it wasn’t an issue seeing the price of the room.

Great location! Perfect stay for my family traveling with 2 small kids. Coco was great and helped us with recommendations with things to do and places to eat. Of course Pudding the cat was a real favorite with the kids.

La atención increíble, particularmente Ellie y otra compañera de ella que nos atendieron en nuestra estancia fueron muy atentas y con increíble disposición a ayudar en todo lo que necesitáramos. La habitación cómoda y con muy buen sistema de aire acondicionado.

The staff was exceptionally good. Max went above and beyond to help me when my internet stopped working. Thanks to her exceptional support, I was able to move around and reach the airport. Another staff (the guy whose name i cant remember) gave good advice on restaurants and things to do. The room was large and confortable. Location was great, practical, near a shop and small restaurants.

Хорошое расположение для однодневного осмотра достопримечательностей. Чистый номер. Зерновой кофе (вместо скуднонго завтрака).

Номер (или весь отель?) только на одну ночь. Из окна открывался вид на кирпичную стену, расположенную на расстоянии 30 см, что создавало ощущение полуподвального помещения, несмотря на приток свежего воздуха. Завтрак был крайне скудным, что стало неожиданностью, учитывая мой многолетний опыт путешествий, и характеризовался отсутствием выбора и недостаточным количеством. Обращает на себя внимание состояние стен под окном и потолка в душевой, где наблюдались вздутия и отслоения краски, вызванные протечкой воды.

Very good location, and calm in the night. It is close to the metro station and only like 1h walk from the Forbidden City, also 30m from Wangfujing. Ellie and the staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Es realmente un lugar perfecto para tener de base en Beijing. Cerca de una avenida donde podes cenar en lugares super locales muy baratos como tambien para tomarte un DiDi que te deja en 20 minutos en cualquier lugar a donde vayas. La cama era comodisima (mido 2m y peso 120kg). El desayuno esta Ok, no brilla pero no resta. Lo que es espectacular es la atención y calidez de sus trabajadores, en especial Max que tiene un ojo para el detalle y una predisposición fuera de serie, gracias por tanta buena onda y todo lo que hiciste por nosotros. La nota de color la da Pudding el gatito del hotel, mas bueno y lindo no hay. Gracias por esta maravillosa estadia 💖

I liked the rooms and the hotel’s facilities. I thought everything was very well organized and beautiful.

We had a bit of trouble with the bathroom because the shower drain seemed to be clogged and the water wouldn’t go down properly, but aside from that, everything was okay.

Le lit était confortable et grand. La douche ainsi que les toilettes parfaits. Il faut s'habituer aux toilettes à la japonaise mais tout s'est bien passé. Un grand merci du fond du cœur à Max ainsi que Coco et John et les autres aussi. Max nous a été d'une grande utilité par son professionnalisme. S'il fallait attribuer une étoile à Max, je lui donne 5 étoiles. Nous avons conversés en anglais et tout a été facile à comprendre. Max et ses collègues nous ont facilité notre séjour à Pékin en nous proposant les circuits visites comme la grande muraille, la cité interdite ainsi que les endroits pour le shopping où les endroits à visiter dans Pékin. Max nous a indiqué les restaurants où dîner et nous en fûmes ravis. Un grand merci à Max tu nous as laissé un souvenir inoubliable.

Peut-être amélioré le petit déjeuner chinois. Ce que j'ai pas vraiment apprécié, ce sont les touristes étrangers qui ne disent pas bonjour ou bonsoir. Je viens d'une île où l'on dit bonjour le matin et bonsoir le soir même si l'on ne connait pas les gens à qui on s'adresse.

Reception: Sehr guter motivierter Mitarbeiter, JOHN, der uns richtig gut bedient und beraten hat (fliessend Englisch)! so engagiert, dass ich davon ausging, dass er der Inhaber ist, aber dem war nicht so. Man sollte ihn zum Manager befördern!

Das Frühstück war eher bescheiden im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Die Mitarbeiterin gab ihr Bestes um uns trotzdem gut zu bedienen, mit den vorhanden Mitteln. Statt Gemüse, Nudeln, Kartoffeln gab es es für mich 5 Spiegeleier pro Mahlzeit ;-))) Die Klimalüftungsschlitze waren voller Staub (schlecht gewartet!) Zimmer ohne Fenster hatten wir zum ersten Mal, aber ich würde das nicht wieder buchen.

El hotel nos sorprendió gratamente, el.personal inmejorable. Especial mención a John que hablaba el mejor inglés que hemos escuchado en toda China. También nos ayudó a organizar algunas visitas, facilitando mucho nuestro viaje.

La wifi

Max was so warm welcoming from the minute we checked in - such a wonderful ambassador for the hotel and China! Thank you Max! It was our first visit and she made us feel special! The room was very clean and the large bed was amazing!! The hotel is in a perfect spot with plenty of little boutiques and insta-worthy bougie cafes. It is also surrounded by plenty of eateries and walking distance to tourist sites. The subway is also quite close to the property

L'albergo e' costruito in una tipica abitazione di un Hutong, si puo' davvero sperimentare come e' la vita in un hutong.

La stanza aveva un piccolo lucernario che non si apriva. Non me lo aspettavo, non c'era luce se non quella elettrica.

Bonne localisation à 10 min a pied du métro. Personnel très sympa, John et une majorité de l'équipe parlent anglais, ce qui est plutôt rare en Chine. Chambre confortable. Salle de bain fonctionnelle. Petit déjeuner correct à partir de 7h30, asiatique seulement.

Cela pourrait etre un peu plus propre. La wifi n'est pas très stable.

Bellissimo hotel in un centralissimo hutong di Beijing. Camera molto spaziosa con due camere e un bagno ampio con doccia. Personale molto disponibile e accogliente con possibilità di supporto nel prenotare attrazioni. Buona colazione variegata con terrazzo e aeree comuni molto belle e rilassanti oltre alla disponibilità di bottiglie d'acqua gratuite alla reception. Posizione ottimale con 3 linee metro a distanza di 10-15 Min a piedi. È presente anche una gatta molto tenera che a volte ti segue per coccole e compagnia. Consigliato!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war recht sauber und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung.

Das Hotel ist etwas schwer zu finden, wenn man zu Fuß unterwegs ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr bescheiden und klein. Leider gab es in unserem Zimmer kein Fenster und das Bad wurde schlecht gelüftet.

Young ladies staff are exceptional. They are willing to help with anything. I really appreciate to the two ladies who helped me to book for bullet train and the tour for Forbidden City. Also thanks to the lady from breakfast room. She’s great to serve to the tourists.

What a great place to stay in Beijing! Location is great, dozens of local restaurants within 100-150 meters, underground station literally 8 mins walk, staff takes care of you like you are from a royal family (to all others too, based in my observation, unlimited water, unlimited coffee, washing machine, clean rooms, strong WiFi, comfortable bed with orthopaedic pillow... When I'm back to Beijing, will definitely stay here again. And the owner of all this (that's what she definitely thinks) - lovely cat Pudding 😁
