A great courtyard hotel in the hutong area, close to the subway and lots of great restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were really welcoming and breakfast had a good variety!

Very calm, quiet and peaceful, yet steps away from the subway and main areas of Beijing. It’s just inside a hutong. Breakfast is fine and they also serve craft beer in the evening. Staff are so nice also. 100% recommend.

Piccolo e bellissimo hotel, ubicato all’inizio di uno dei vicoli della zona antica della città, vicino alla fermata della metro, molto ben tenuto camere belle arredate in stile tradizionale. Il bagno merita una menzione speciale poiché bello spazioso ed anche esso arredato in stile tradizionale con bellissima vasca in muratura. Personale gentilissimo, sono stati sempre di grande aiuto.

Per gli occidentali sarebbe gradita una macchina automatica per fare caffè-espresso/cappuccino.

Beautiful common areas, nice environment, helpful staff, excellent outdoor area to enjoy local beer from the front desk bar. Really central location with easy access to metro and walking distance to great cafes, shopping, main tourist sites. Really worthwhile for convenient travel around Beijing.

Although I was offered a room upgrade before my stay for a nominal fare increase, I didn't understand the difference between accomodations and so I stayed in the most basic room. It was beautiful and very clean, the tub was amazing, but if I had to do it over again, I would opt for the room upgrade for the slightly larger room. For a short stay, the smaller room was absolutely fine but for more than a few days, I'd suggest the small fare increase for the upgrade.

Nos ha gustado muchísimo. Es un oasis de tranquilidad en medio de Pekín. El hotel es pequeño y familiar, llevado con la máxima profesionalidad. Sábanas y toallas de hotel de cinco estrellas, muy tranquilo, limpio, y personal muy amable. De todo nuestro viaje por China sin duda ha sido nuestro favorito El desayuno, sabiendo que nunca se va a encontrar en China un desayuno occidental 100% , estaba bien; tenía opciones tanto locales como occidentales (tostadas, croissant, mantequilla, fruta, huevos y café)

Posizione comoda in un ambiente molto tranquillo a pochi metri dalle attrazioni principali. La stanza era molto pulita ed il personale molto accogliente, ci ha anche aiutato a prenotare l’escursione a Jinshanling

The hotel is in a Hutong but at the entrance. it is close to public transportation and Forbidden city. The location is very central, and the courtyard is lovely. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is super comfortable. The cats in the courtyard are cute. The bathroom is very nice.

If you live on the second floor, there isn't an elevator. Overall, a little pricey.

Veldig hyggelig personale, rene rom og fantastisk beliggenhet! Bakgården var veldig fin å sitte i om kvelden. Frokosten var veldig bra, og stort pluss at vi fikk nytt vann hver dag.

Posizione ottima a mio avviso. Si raggiungono comodamente con Taxi o Didi in poco tempo tutte le attrazioni principali (Città proibita, Palazzo d’Estate, Tempio del cielo, etc…). Si raggiunge in pochi minuti a piedi anche Wangfujing Street.

Because it's tucked away in an inner courtyard, it's very quiet even though it's centrally located. We also appreciated that the rooms didn't smell like smoke, which we experienced at other hotels (despite booking non-smoking rooms). Service and breakfast were very good, too. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, with lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Also well located between two metro stations, so it’s very accessible to major tourist attractions. Staff were always very polite and helpful!

Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου ήταν καίρια, κοντά σε μετρό και σε μια πολύ ζωντανή περιοχή, με πολλές επιλογές για φαγητό και ποτό. Το ξενοδοχείο πεντακάθαρο, μυρίζεις παντού γιασεμί και μανολια, το δωμάτιο απλό και λειτουργικό. Μια υπέροχη αυλή που σε βοηθάει να ηρεμήσεις. Το προσωπικό καλοσυνάτο και εξυπηρετικό. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

This high-quality little hotel is located right in an authentic Hutong neighborhood, offering a rare and charming glimpse into local life. The design and courtyard – the rooms are beautifully decorated in Asian style, and the inner courtyard is simply a work of art. Every corner invites you to sit, relax, and drink tea. What makes the experience truly perfect? They treat the chubby cats wandering around the courtyard as part of the family. Watching them nap in the shade is pure joy. The staff – they don't speak English, but they make up for it with great communication via various apps (translation, WhatsApp, WeChat). They are attentive, help with everything big and small, and do it all with a smile and warm hospitality. Breakfast – excellent! A perfect mix of Asian and Western. My personal favorite: seaweed soup with meat-filled dumplings – absolutely delicious! Great location – 15 minutes slow walk from the main shopping avenue, 25 minutes slow walk from the entrance to the Forbidden City. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops right around the hotel. Bottom line – I enjoyed it so much that at the end of my Beijing trip, I came back for an extra night just to stay here again. Highly, highly recommended! My score: 10 out of 10. 🐱🏨

Hotel boutique que conecta la naturaleza con la cercanía a la ciudad. El personal muy atento siempre, responden rápido y tratan de ayudar de la mejor manera, incluso con las limitaciones del idioma. Me encantó que tengan vestuarios de época para sacarse fotos. El baño súper limpio, moderno, con wc japonés. La tinaja para relajarse luego de las visitas a la ciudsd, es un plus. Tienen buffet de desayuno, así que se puede probar distintas cosas locales o sino, te gusta arriesgarte, hay opciones más occidentales. Cuentan con una pileta con pececitos y sus gatitos mascotas, le dan un entorno más hogareño y amable. Sin duda me quedaría nuevamente en el lugar.

Tuve problemas con filtracciones de humo de cigarro a mi habitación por la ventilación. Un problema general de China es lo que fuma la gente, incluso dentro de las habitaciones. El personal siempre muy atento, intentó ayudarme para solucionar el problema de olor, así que en ese sentido, fue solo un detalle que pueden mejorar.

Lovely staff who were happy to help. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, a small sanctuary away from the busy city life. The hotel room was very comfortable and the choice of two pillows was a nice touch. We loved our stay and would recommend!

Les photos de l'hôtel ne correspondent pas à la réalité de plus de la moitié des chambres . La majorité n'ont pas la vue sur la cour avec jardin mais sur un couloir extérieur bordée de mur assez haut fait de petits troncs d'arbres ( c'est la vue des chambres rez de chaussée ) et à l'étage , toutes les chambres ont un vis à vis parfait, donc aucune intimité ! D'autre part , la cour avec jardin n'offre que deux tables de disponible .Avec environ 50 chambres , impossible d'en profiter car jamais disponible . Préférez l'hôtel Jingshan Garden qui n'a seulement que douze chambres donnant toutes sur une très jolie cour intérieur dont on peut profiter .Nous avons d'ailleurs annulé l'hôtel Dasein Youlan à notre retour à Pékin pour séjourner dans cet hôtel Jingshan .

- Le petit-déjeuner pourra être amélioré, peu de choix par rapport à d’autres hôtels moins chers que j’ai fait à Pékin. - Chambre assez petite et pas de Bureau. Ce n’est pas un problème pour le tourisme, mais si c’est un voyage professionnel, ce sera moins agréable. - Les prises électriques nécessitait un adaptateur pour prises Françaises. J’en avais un donc pas de problème, mais les autres hotels ont généralement les prises directement compatibles.

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé et le personnel nous a été très chaleureux ainsi que très professionnel. Ils sont très réactifs que ce soit via booking ou WeChat. La cour intérieure est intimiste et agréable bien que dans un quartier très très vivant ! Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et très varié. Toujours quelqu'un pour vous guider et vous informer :)

We loved our stay! While we didn't pay for the breakfast package, we ended up eating breakfast every morning at the hotel. The room is great, the staff are friendly, and the courtyard (with cats) is a great break from the hustle and bustle of Beijing. We will be recommending the Dasein Youlan to all of our friends.

Otroligt boende som jag inte skulle tveka på i en sekund att bo på igen! Vårt rum överträffade våra förväntningar! Skön stor säng, bra luftkonditionering, mysigt litet loungeområde med te och stort badrum. Hotellet låg på en lugn innergård i ett traditionellt Hutongområde med små porlande dammar och lummig grönska. Ren och skär njutelse att kliva in på hotellets område efter en lång dag på fötterna i den högintensiva staden Peking.

Frukosten var helt ok. Vi satte oss ner för att äta strax innan buffen stängde så det kändes lite som att personalen väntade på att vi skulle äta upp snabbt för att kunna städa undan. Men vi var som sagt lite sena till den så helt förståligt.

A very friendly staff who helped us navigate the initial little problems you face on a first visit to China. The hotel is a haven of peace and calm, you feel like you have entered a different world. Rooms are impeccably clean and modern, with an old-world feel.

Everything!!! The location is absolutely perfect, tucked away 20 meters down a small alley from the street - therefore no noise - with a peaceful garden and extremely welcoming staff. The size of the rooms are good, everything is very clean, and walkable distance to everything touristy as well as to the metro. The breakfast is also well filled up, perfect before a day full of visits.

The AC/room temperature could be better (no translation for the manual) but once figured out on day 2 all was good.

Very nice hotel in the centre of the hutongs. Spacious rooms with large bathroom and shower. The bed was big and comfy and we were also surprised with a free upgrade to a lively suite with a private balcony, which we greatly appreciated. Good breakfast and very polite and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

L’accueil, le petit déjeuner complet et varié, le cadre zen, dépaysant et surtout la beauté de la chambre d’hôtel. Le personnel était toujours souriant et serviable. La baignoire façon Onsen avec la possibilité de prendre un bain avec des pétales de roses… bref tout était parfait. Nous n’avions plus envie de partir. Notre séjour a été inoubliable.

The location was so close to the downtown by walking distance but located in a very quiet area so no traffic sound at all. Superb staffs - they were so friendly and went above and beyond to help us, when we had a trouble paying to a didi taxi driver. Great breakfast was a bonus!

Excellent location. Staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful when asked to book a restaurant for us and we were even given a little gift on checkout. Lovely little touches in the room - duck slippers and toothbrush for our daughter. The courtyard was a great place to chill and unwind after a day's sightseeing.

We loved the craft beer but it would have been nice to have a bar with more choices so could sit outside with a few drinks. However this is a.minor thing and nothing to stop you sitting outside with your own drinks.
