Breakfast was wonderful and our hosts were very helpful in where to park our car and where to go in town! Had a wonderful walk on the beach directly across the street from the B&B too!
Parking can be very difficult in Portrush in the summer and did not realize that it caters so heavily to young families with several amusement venues scattered throughout the town. The main pubs/bars/restaurants all look to be grouped/owned down by the harbor - not a big deal, but the pubs closer to the location gave us a very "towny" feel

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Das Frühstück kann dazu gebucht werden. Es gibt ein - einfach gehaltenes - Buffet sowie verschiedene Varianten von Frühstückseiern, von der Gastgeberin jeweils frisch zubereitet. Wir hatten ein gemütliches Zimmer mit Meerblick. Für längere Aufenthalte unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Petit déjeuner tardifs 8h30. Du coup on est partis avant. Un des lits jumeaux trop mou. Beaucoup de circulation pendant la nuit sur la rue mais c'est le mois d'août et il y a beaucoup de monde.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026The check in was quick and easy. The lady that greeted me was just lovely. The room was great with everything you would need. Albany Lodge is in a great location, very central. The breakfast was delicious and other guests spoke about how they keep returning due to the lovely owners. Nothing was too much trouble.
In the room I had, the upstairs guest used the facilities a lot of times during the night and I could hear the loud floorboards and also the noisy flush of their toilet. It awoke me several times during the night. I wouldn't let it stop me going back but I would ask for a different room. This would not matter to someone else but I am a very light sleeper. There was nothing else to complain about in Albany Lodge in fact it is a really lovely place. Only I like to be true to my experience, I wouldn't even want to say this.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Zuerst wurden wir sehr warmherzig und freundlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Von unserem sehr gemütlichen Zimmer im 3. Stock hatten wir sogar verschiedene Meerblicke, was wirklich schön war. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet. Toll war das Frühstücksangebot. Man konnte neben einem Buffet zusätzlich verschiedene Varianten auswählen. Alles war sehr frisch und lecker. Der Pancake Stack war der leckerste, den ich je gegessen habe! Die persönlichen Gespräche haben alles zu einem schönen Aufenthalt abgerundet.

Possibly noise from the road but you can't have it every way. Room was slightly cold for my partner. No GF options for my partner even though this had been advised via Booking. However a great stay overall and would recommend.

The guest house was spotless clean and very comfortable. Our room had an amazing view of the sea. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast amazing. My 11 year old granddaughter loved it. We will be back.

Pas de place de parking pour l'hôtel, on a eu beaucoup de mal à se garer c'était le week-end de pâques c'est sûrement pour ca. Salle de bain un peu vetuste pour le standing de l'hôtel.
