Lighting wasnt good when walking back to your lodge, we sat outside with dog to eat no heaters outside, it was freezing ,

Could improve on cleanliness, quite a few cobwebs on the fireplace and at the top of the back patio door that had filled with flies. Spider that has been squished in the bedroom doorframe. Assume do clean take place after the summer holidays.

WIFI was not very good and we couldn’t get a signal most of the time whilst we were there. Maybe have WiFi in your lodges and charge for WiFi , we would have been happy to do that. Other than that amazing stay.

Poorly maintained lodge that wasn't clean, dog hair everywhere and things that were in need of replacing like the dining table and sofas.

Such a lovely few nights, chilling. A few of minutes drive to Louth Centre. Staff were really lovely.

Im not sure if our hot tub was cleaned at all other than the day after getting there (we stayed 4 nights). I could be wrong though.

It was nice and quiet, they had a wedding on the thursday night and we didn't hear a thing. I think the price was reasonable. The kitchen was fully equipped just missing a small knife and a pair of scissors.

The wifi wasn't brilliant it kept on cutting off. There was a funny smell coming from the main bathroom. mybe the plumbing? Only a suggestion, would be nice if there was a pair of scissors and a small sharp knife for cutting up vegetable.

Outside of lodge ie windows and around decking hadn't been cleaned for sometime. Lots of cobwebs and spiders all over. Hottub was also broken but staff were very apologetic.

The accommodation was immaculately clean, the view over the lake was stunning, we sat there for hours just watching the wildlife. Such a peaceful location. So handy having the hotel pub and restaurant on the door step if you fancied a night off from cooking. Out and about , there are some stunning beaches which are all dog friendly and huge, ideal for walking. Literally around the corner you have McDonald’s, KFC, Garage & Spar, Starbucks, Costa , Greggs and Subway. There’s also electric car charging at McDonald’s.. This was the most perfect relaxing stay, we will definitely be back.

It was really good for family's as the rooms as pretty good size for big size families with nice decking and hot tube 😊

Only one thing is that we walked in the house ( we always take our shoes off ) after walking around the floor didn't seen cleaned properly would say need to clean it properly or change what is cleaned with. The same with one of the room that very wired smell what my oldest daughter was staying in and she said as well its very odd smell in it might of been feom cleaning stuff what was used but still it should be there so long from day we stayed till we left thats the only minus there unfortunately.

The lodge was clean and modern with everything there that I could ask for.

Spacious and had all the appliances you need to stay with a family. The lodges weren’t too encroached on each other as well, with plenty of outdoor space for kids to play and ride their bikes

We loved the lodge & hot tub, it was very clean and cosy perfect for what we wanted a good base and very peaceful. The master bedroom had an ensuite and a dressing area.

WiFi kept dipping, master bedroom the bed wasn't the comfiest .

The sofas are not the most comfortable but they will do a for a few nights stay.

Probably one of the best lodges we’ve been to. Spacious, beds were so comfy and the shower was incredible

Hot tub was sunken too much so made it difficult to enter. The hot tub was not checked all week and the water became murky and smelly. I would point out the lack of privacy at the lodge. You feel like everyone is in your eyeline and you in there’s.

A wonderful stay in one of the lodges which was clean and comfortable. The whole complex was fantastic we used the bar for drinks which was really nice, we didn't eat but saw some of the food coming out and it looked really good. And to say its a busy wedding venue it remained quiet and peaceful where we were.

Only one thing there wasn’t any hand soap, I had brought shower gel but no soap.

It was a heatwave when we were there and the lodge was very hot. An air con unit would have been helpful. Fully appreciate that this is something rarely needed in the UK!

It is a quiet site which suited the adults but not so much the teenagers. Our lodge didn’t have a view of the lake which was disappointing

It was very hot!! And there were no fans for cooling it down. The double doors didn’t have safety latches so were worried about them slamming shut. No slip mats on the shower or bath. It was covered in midges because of the warm weather and hot tub. Need some pest control!

Stunning location and park. Restaurant was lovely and the take away facility was a lovely bonus. Lodges are well equipped and very comfortable.

Excellent location, right next to Louth but feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. A good base to visit many local attractions. Spoilt for choice on activities to choose in the area! A good-sized lodge with good amenities. Left alone by staff which I preferred but was well informed of how to contact them if needed. Didn’t book a lodge with a parking space so was pleasantly surprised at how close the car park was.

No fans! I had to go and buy some on the second day as the temperature inside the lodge exceeded 40 degrees in the recent heatwave! I understand not having air conditioning but please purchase fans for your guests, it’s too hot inside! Minor cleanliness issues, on arrival the floors weren’t well mopped in the living area and the hot tub wasn’t clean. We easily rectified these ourselves though.

Handy for visiting attractions parking free and lodge was comfortable with all amenities we needed.

Not as private as we’d hoped lots of dogs some very noisy and could have been cleaner especially hot tub.

We wasn’t able to park outside our lodge, though it was only a 2 minute walk from the overflow designated car park - keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage to carry

The lodge was very clean, well equipped, hot tub clean and nice temperature. Generally peaceful with one exception. The site has a hotel, restaurant where you can get a takeaway, a bit expensive but nice.

You couldn't drive your car up to the lodge, had to be kept in a car park even for loading and unloading which I wasn't aware. Husband disabled. The site is dog friendly which is why we chose this site but it also is a venue for weddings, parties etc so on the Friday night they let off fireworks which I wasn't told. I think we should have been told when we collected our keys and they took the pet charge.

the sofas were not cleaned upon arrival it had loads of bugs on it and with a baby it was quite hard to deal with, we had to buy a new tub of baby formula as the sides were left dirty so bugs were everywhere. the plates cutlery and pans and trays were disgustingly dirty was not cleaned at all. the beds had stains on them and the hot tub had a massive green line around it. it’s easier to say what we liked rather then what we didn’t

the location was good for us as we wanted a quiet place for a break.the lodge was very spacious and clean every thing we needed.good bar and restaurant lovely area outside with plenty of shade to sit .

as this resort has not been going that many years i think they have done very well so would not be fair to say that we did not like anything.

One of the beds was broken. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. 2 person toaster in a 6 bed cabin! The resort is described as luxurious. It is far from this

A large cabin, owner is Dutch and clearly takes so much pride in her cabin which is reflected throughout.

I can’t fault the cabin itself, BUT I had to check out an hour later than usual, there was a mix up in the times. I was charged 35 pound for the extra hour. Also I had to leave without my husband as he was called to work and had to leave earlier and although we made sure that he took most of the luggage I was still left with a baby and a small child, with a lot of baggage as you can imagine what you need for an infant. I stressed to staff how I would find it difficult to get my stuff to the reception area with a baby in tow, and I wasn’t offered any assistance. The hot tub maintenance guy offered to help and instructed me to leave my stuff by the cabin and he would collect for me. He never did, when my lift arrived an hour later I had to drive round and collect my stuff. This isn’t something I would normally complain about, but I wasn’t offered any disappointed by the lack of humanity here. I left the lodge spotless and even stripped all of the beds and left a tip for the cleaners as I knew I had overstayed by an hour not realising in order to help them with the turnover. That’s before I was charged and I wasn’t helped with carrying my luggage. I would be careful booking here if you need any kind of over and beyond assistance.

It was a lovely place and I was impressed with the lodge with the hot tub. We had a problem with the fridge but the maintenance guy sorted out out quickly for us. The maintenance staff were helpful and polite. I would definitely stay again

Loved this cabin one of the best the grounds men who check the hot tub are very helpful everyone seems so nice, the cabin was spotless had a real feel of a hotel but with the outdoor living . The grounds are kept pristine and it’s quiet and peaceful wonderful retreat.

There was nothing not to like we had fish and chips on the Friday and it was amazing fresh chips although we have had them in the past and they tasted like reheats but not this time the restaurant food was lovely.

All was ok thought would have had shower gel and shampoo minitures.

Peaceful site, with lodges spaced apart from each other. The lodge itself felt spacious with 2 bathrooms which was helpful.

Sadly, beds were very uncomfortable and there was some damage onsite the lodge - including to the hot tub cover, which was hard work getting off every day.

The lodge was beautiful, we had the most relaxing week away. Staff were amazing and so helpful and polite. The surroundings are stunning.

The hot tub was filthy so we gave that a miss - which is a shame. Our last night was disrupted by a wedding held in the function suite. The music was ridiculously loud and didnt end until after midnight. I'd perhaps either advise the volume to be lower or not hire out the cabins closest to the suite when you know there is a wedding/function on.

The lodge was lovely. I had a relaxing time. The nice surprise was the place was like the photo . A lot of times you get shown a picture that doesn't resemble the actual area.

We were very happy with the lodge, it was only a short drive to shops etc but the site itself was very quiet, we found it very relaxing even with a 6 year old. We used the onsite takeaway which could be delivered to our door and was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff on reception were very friendly too.

We didn't like not being able to drop out bags off directly outside the lodge. Our lodge just happened to be the furthest away from the car park which was a short distance but on the hottest day of the year it was hard work carrying everything. Perhaps the road could be opened during check in and out, or trolleys provided ?

This is our fifth time to the resort great lodges very comfortable great facilities and lovely on-site pub

Had a few problems with the hot tub on arrival as it was cold, but this was soon sorted and we were able to use the tub that evening!

The lodge was lovely and spacious, the ho tub was good although not mega powerful jets. The restaurant and bar were lovely and reasonably priced. The beauty salon a fab addition for a lovely massage.

We were in an accessible lodge not very well planned out for wheelchair users. Ideally the ramp should have accessed the patio area so double doors could be used. The accessible shower had a super slippy base which really wasn't good. I was expecting a lakeside view as it leads you to believe thats what you are getting, not massive issue as it was lovely and peaceful The beds were really hard the staff will provide a topper if you ask.

We have been in a couple of days and leaving on Friday we have had some issues during our stay and we feel a little let down as this is our second time being here as we loved it so much the first time ( october 2024 ) The issues are as follows •Strong smell of Smell of urine in bathrooms and weren't cleaned ( limescale round the taps ) •Carpets are filthy ( need a serious clean throughout ) • double Bed extremely uncomfortable its like lying on a mattress topped on a divan base •tv remote broken batterys exposed having young kids and a dog not great when batterys keep falling out Its not a short journey for us its a 6 hour drive and me being disabled I rarely get time away from home its just disappointing as we love the place and the location and struggling to think of a good reason to return Regards

Beautiful and peaceful location. The hot tub with the lake view is 10/10. Spacious accommodation with everything you need. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

For the price, general cleanliness could be improved. Sofas and carpet need a deep clean. Mattress was not very comfortable. However this did not impact ours short stay and we will be back in future :)

We stayed in a lodge for 2 nights. Lodge was very poor. Dirty old furniture in the lounge, chair legs all wobbly, blinds broken and hanging off the windows. TV channels very poor some don't even work. Bathroom floor was a mess, all uneven and had a smell of damp so bad that we had to leave the window open. Stains on the furniture. Hot tub all stained and filter constantly coming out. Good points: bed was comfortable and it was warm.
