It was amazing stay at Hotel Toffu safari. Meera is very helpful staff and Mr. Toffi is very Honest and good man. I stay just a night but next time I stay longer and doing over night safari as well. Thank you for everything.

Mi estancia en Guesthouse Tofu fue fantástica. La ubicación es perfecta, muy cerca del Fuerte de Jaisalmer, y desde la terraza se puede disfrutar de unas vistas increíbles del fuerte. La habitación estaba limpia, cómoda y muy bien cuidada. Todo el equipo fue muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir como en casa. También disfruté mucho de la comida en el restaurante de la terraza y, especialmente, del safari por el desierto. Fue una experiencia inolvidable, con un paisaje espectacular, una puesta de sol preciosa y una noche bajo las estrellas. Recomiendo totalmente Guesthouse Tofu a cualquiera que visite Jaisalmer. ¡Sin duda volvería! ❤️

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering excellent value for the price. It's in a great location, hotel is placed in the old town very near the fort. The staff were also very attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel also offers camel safari arrangements, which is a great experience worth checking out if you are visiting the area. Overall, a very good choice for travelers looking for comfort at a reasonable cost.

Excellent accueil par Toffi, vraiment très gentil et serviable. Comme nous étions hors saison (mi mars), il nous à donné 2 chambres pour 3 au lieu d'une seule. Vraiment sympa ! Il nous a ensuite recommandé un safari dans le désert qui s'est avéré une belle excursion pour un prix tout a fait correct. La chambre est grande, bien équipée dont la clim. Belle SdB. Enfin, la vue depuis le rooftop est exceptionnelle sur le fort. Lequel fort est accessible en 5 min à pied. Nota : en plus , ils sont venus nous chercher à la gare (free).

Affordable price, very near to the famous fort. Best view of the fort from the rooftop. The hospitality was superb by reminding us not to go out in the sun peak hours. They also helped us with sehri and managed it well. The owner was very kind, welcome, and hospitable.

The electricity turned off some times but it's ok. The facility need to upgrade for more costumer's convenience.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Tofu Safari ! Tofu est hyper accueillant et sympa, il nous a bien aidé à organiser notre séjour sur place : nous avons participé au safari "non-touristique" et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle, le guide était super et on était un petit groupe de 5 voyageurs et lui au milieu des dunes à la belle étoile. Les chambres privatives de l'hôtel sont super spacieuses et propres, les lits très confortables. Excellent rapport qualité-prix ! Les chambres étaient disponibles dès notre arrivée le matin ! La vue depuis le rooftop sur le fort est incroyable ! L'hôtel est idéalement situé à 5-10 minutes de marche du fort et de la ville-basse. On a adoré notre séjour là-bas et on y reviendrait sans hésitation !!! Petite mention spéciale à la générosité du personnel dans le cadre de notre jeûne du ramandan 🫶🏻

They arranged everything for us- day tour in the safari, taxi for the next destination, and even let us shower after long day tour even though we checked out.

Hot water not available during power cuts (no generator). Tofu the owner is quite persistent in hassling you to sign up for the Desert Safari which I found annoying. Desert safari tour ( I paid 2250 rupees for jeep tour with no camel) was very good but I found another participant paid less then me (2000 with camel). Tofu is the middleman who takes a commission (this is fine, I just think this should be transparent and clear, which it wasn't!)

Our stay at the Hotel Tofu safari was excellent. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was done regularly and everything was well organized. The staff were polite and welcoming, making us feel at home. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Highly recommended for couples and families. The safari was a wonderful experience. Everything was well arranged from start to finish. The guide was friendly, professional, and shared interesting information about the area, Thar Desert, and local culture. The surroundings were beautiful and the ride felt safe and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this safari to anyone visiting.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made everything possible to ensure we had a pleasant stay, and went above and beyond, offering activities such as non-touristic safari, and advice and help for the next steps of our travel to India.

Location is very close to the fort. However, it is in a very narrow street that is not very easy to get to. Staff was responsive to most requests

Hotel is not a 3-star property. Upon check-in, found hairballs on the floor from previous stays, room door handle was broken, electric switch board was not grounded properly resulting in mild electric shock when operating switches. Bathroom window had a piece of cardboard for windowpane, with a piegon nest behind it. Airport transportation provided after charging a hefty sum was a rickety van with no shock absorbers and badly in need of upgrade. Kitchen staff prepared and served food without washing hands

Nach unserem letzten Aufenthalt haben wir uns gleich nochmal entschieden in dem Tofu Hotel zu übernachten und diesmal sind wir zu dem Safari Camp gefahren und haben uns das Kulturprogramm angeschaut. Dort gab wunderschöne Tanze, die uns verzaubert haben

Wir haben uns gefreut diese Unterkunft gebucht zu habe. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden. Der Eigentümer kümmerte sich sehr um uns. Er gab uns sehr wertvolle Tipps. Als einheimischer kennt sich der Gastgeber sehr gut aus und kann abseits des Internets sehr interessante Information bezüglich Aktivitäten und Lifestyle der Einheimischen geben. Wir haben es nicht bereut.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr in der Nähe der Burg und eine ruhige verkehrsfreie Lage. Rundum waren sehr viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten von Wein Verkauf bis Street Food. Auf der großen Terasse hat man viel Platz und es weht ein angenehmer Wind. Mit schönen Blick auf die Burg. Für jesailmir ist die Lage optimal. Der Betreiber bietet wüstentouren an die definitiv ein Erlebnis wert. Wir waren zu 5 ganz alleine in der Wüste unter freiem Himmel das wird mir in Erinnerung bleiben.

Wir haben mit Tofu Safari eine Tour in die Wüste gemacht und dort unter freiem Himmel in den Dünen geschlafen und abend auf einem Lagerfeuer frisch zubereitetes Essen bekommen. Es war wirklich sehr schön! Wir haben insgesamt fast 1 Woche in dem Hotel verbracht und schon bald sind wir mit dem Personal wie eine Familie geworden.

I was pleasantly surprise by this palace it was so clean Dorm I had in Rajasthan. Staff is so friendly and helpful always smile on his face. Restaurant have beautiful view with amazing view and atmosphere. I book one night Desert Safari with tofu. It was unforgettable experience for me I travel last 6 month in India this is one of the best experience I had in India. Location is perfect just a minute by walk from the Fort all the monuments is nearby. La chambre ne ressemblait pas aux photos et aux descriptions postées sur la plateforme. Équipements vieillot et pas entretenu. Les tarifs demandés ne correspondent pas aux conforts proposés. Nous sentons qu'ils manquent de moyens. D'autres hôtels pour le même confort demandent quatre fois moins Cher.

Toffi ist ein toller Gastgeber der einen auch viel zu Jaisalmer erzählen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und ordentlich und mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Der aufenthalt war einfach super. Toffi hat uns am Busbahnhof abgeholt und organisierte uns eine wunderbare Kameltour Solten wir noch einmal nach Jaisalmer kommen, Würden wir definitive wieder dort bleiben. ❤️

We just came back from an unforgettable stay in the desert. Roja took us around and took great care of making everything perfect for us. He was even a great cook. If you plan to book a safari with Tofu defenetly Go for the two nights trip. It’s worth doing it. Tofu organized everything and provided also free pick up from trainstation. Thanks for everything.

Location was great, easy access to the for, lots of places to eat nearby, easy to walk to the lake. The hotel staff and owner were very accommodating. Meerakahn who worked on the reception, and other staff of the hotel and rooftop cafe were all very nice, really made a great effort to give a positive experience to the guests. It was excellent value for the price.

Hotel Tofu Safari exceeded expectations with its warm hospitality and charming traditional decor. The staff was incredibly helpful — they arranged an amazing desert safari and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The rooftop restaurant offered stunning views of Jaisalmer Fort, especially during sunrise. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped.

Had a great experience at Tofu Hotel! Mr. Tofu and the staff were very welcoming and helpful! Had a late check-in and was put to sleep in a separate room to not wake up the dormitory. Booked my desert safari also here for a very fair price and got to leave my luggage at the Hotel until I got back and for the remaining day until I got my bus in the evening. Great service! Would recommend the food at the rooftop with great fort view as well !

Tofu Hotel is Fantastic for Backpackers travelers. I travel alone in Rajasthan than I meet few travelers at Tofu Hotel and feel good atmosphere and vibes. It was unforgettable experience in Jaisalmer because of Tofu safari. I stay twice in Jaisalmer because I like Jaisalmer so much and Hotel as well. I did over night safari I highly Recommend to do it. I went Jaisalmer with my partner. They have private Car Parking this very good for who travels by own car. We stay a night room is so comfortable and clean. I Enjoy my stay. The manager Mr. Meer is very helpful he came early morning to pickup us from train station. Hotel it self very clean. Great comfortable place to stay with a nice rooftop view for sunset and sunrise. Really close to the Fort and to everything else. We did the overnight safari with them and it was amazing!

Lovee the room and the decor, the sandstone keeps you cool too. The property is conveniently located walking distance to the fort. Toffi is very nice and professional and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I also recommend Toffi's incredible desert safari as well! The staff are all very pleasant and helpful too so don't hesitate to let them know if you need anything.

I enjoyed my stay here and the bond I was able to build with the staff. They were all so kind! The location of the guesthouse is great too, you are within walking distance of everything you would want to see in Jaisalmer including the fort and the lake. The safari is also incredible! A must see!

The staff are kind and accommodating. The guest house itself is clean and cool even in the heat of the day. The location of the guest house is excellent: it's close to the fort and center of Jaisalmer. The safari is a must! I like the non-touristic version but the other option is nice for people who don't want to sleep in the open desert .

I have no complaints about the property. Everything which was promised, I received. The pictures which are available on google and other websites are accurate. I was very happy with my stay. There wasn't anything I "didn't like."

Good for both long and short stays.

The Host Tofu is extremely pushy and overwhelming at all times. He asked invasive questions and it felt as if he is constantly watching you. Me and my sisters were creeped out by him. I don't think I will ever recommend this hotel to anyone. He seems extremely friendly at first, but judges and talks about the tourists in a derogatory manner behind their backs in their local language. Also it feels that he treats the foreigners and Indians differently. The only thing he is interested in doing is selling his safari tour. We reached there at 11:30 at night and instead of letting us go to sleep, he was adamant that we must first finalise the safari tour, and took the money right then and there. The tour also just seemed mediocre to my family, nothing exceptional. Also I heard that he charged double the rate to foreigners. The cafe at the roof was extremely bad and overpriced. His whole personality seems like a facade and he constantly lies about a lot of stuff. I feel that the foreign tourist are not able to see his true personality behind his extremely friendly demeanour. Also the cherry on top was the fact that he gave himself a 10 star review from my booking account at the time of checkout without my knowledge or permission. I realised it when I got home and wrote this so other people can avoid booking this place and save themselves from this greedy, pushy and shameless owner.

Everything! They arranged for us a non-turist desert safari, with a 2 hour camel ride, we slept under the stars. A great sunrise! We went for Valentine's, and it was magical! They made everything to make us feel like we were at home and even took us to the train station. The restaurant has a great view and the cooker is great. My partner didn't like spicy food, and he made non-spicy! I highly recommend this place!!!

Hotel's location was very good, the rooms were pretty clean and service was good. The rooftop has a nice view to the fort and it's very chill the hang out there.

Owner was a very overwhelming and pushy. He talked us into booking his safari at a non competitive price... After safari he moved us into a much smaller room with a hole in the bathroom and a pigeon trying to sneak in.

Great value for money, really enjoyed our stay here, can highly recommended! The room was clean, really comfortable bed, nice warm shower. The location is excellent and the rooftop is a very nice place to chill. The food at the restaurant is also very delicious and fresh. I also need to mention the owner, who goes beyond and above to make his guests welcome at his place, has great recommendations. Really one of the best places we’ve stayed this far.
