I gestori dell’hotel sono molto molto gentili e disponibili. Ci hanno dato un sacco di consigli su cosa fare e vedere. Ci hanno anche offerto la possibilità di fare un safari nel deserto in cui si dorme in mezzo alle dune. Abbiamo declinato solamente perché hanno fatto un prezzo troppo alto per la zona. Il ristorante sul tetto ha dei piatti buonissimi e lo chef è molto simpatico e disponibile

Essendo gli unici nell’hotel e facendo tutte le pietanze partendo da zero sono un po’ lenti, ma per la bontà del cibo lo si accetta volentieri

Lo staff è veramente gentilissimo,ci ha aiutato con i bagagli ed è rimasto in contatto tutto il tempo,con estrema gentilezza. La struttura è in perfetto stile con il forte, offrendo un ottimo punto per la visita.

Pares is super kind! The rooms were clean and also very well furnished. They also helped us organize the desert tour. They totally understood out wish of being far from mass tourism and just sleeping out in the dunes under the stars. It was magical. Totally reccomended!

Wonderful family run guest house, inside the fort with fantastic views! Paresh and Kamal helped us so much prepare for our rickshaw run Himalayas adventure. They also organised an amazing local desert stay for one night. Totally non touristy near their village. It was a very special way to get to know the local culture. Room was clean with great aircon and I loved the rooftop!

Très bien situé dans le fort. La terrace a une jolie vue et très confortable avec des tables/canapés. La nourriture proposée pour le petit dej ou les repas est très bonne. La chambre est confortable et propre. Très bon accueil et personnel très gentil. Ils proposent également des safaris dans le désert avec balade en dromadaire + nuit à la belle étoile avec repas inclus et possibilité de se changer/prendre une bouche le lendemain. C’était une superbe expérience et le lieu dans le desert était bien choisi. Je recommande vraiment!

Sagar guesthouse is a local family business and everyone there is really friendly and helpful. The room we booked was very spacious with two windows and everything was perfectly clean. The location inside the living fort is great as well as the roof top restaurant with its view. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would totally recommend it to anyone!

I have booked a super deluxe room which costed me 1534 rupees but when I have reached there then hotel staff gave m standard room and during check out time i got to know that it was standard room which was of 934 rupees but they made me pay 1534 rupees, The behaviour of owner was very rude, please don't book this hotel There is a lot of water and electricity shortage in this hotel

It is a nice location, inside the fort. The rooms are very small but for the price it's definitely worth it! The owner kept our stuff after we had checked out in a safe, which was nice. The beds are not extra long as they are described (I'm tall so I can tell!). Overall a good experience!

The property was very clean, cozy and hospitable. Prime location in the heart of the fort. Beautiful city views and a cosy window to sit and watch the sunset. I also enjoyed a desert safari organised by Sagar. It was so nice sleeping under the stars and having the trip from start to finish organised. I could not recommend this guest house enough.

I cannot recommend Sagar guest house enough : located inside the fort of Jaisalmer, with a great view from the rooftops, coupled with nicely decorated rooms and good food, it makes you feel quite at home. The staff is friendly, always ready to help. The guest house also provides safari options in the Thar desert : I was convinced to go on a small expedition, with the plan being to ride camels in the dunes and camp under the stars at night, and it was by far one of my main highlights of travelling around Rajasthan. Try it for yourself ☀️

This is a beautiful location in the heart of the Fort. Jaisalmer is hot, but there is no better place to spend your evening that sitting on the roof watching the colours change as the sun sets. The food was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to ensure every aspect of our stay was excellent.

It’s an older property, so expect steeper steps and basic rooms. But this adds to the charm and authenticity of a true desert adventure.

Electricals didn’t work properly. You have to walk 500m climb through the fort to reach there.

Tout était parfait, les chambres à fleur des remparts avec une vue imprenable les propriétaires très sympathiques. Ils nous ont organisé une excursion dans le désert 30 € par personne. On est parti à 14h. Est revenu à 23h30. C’était le top Visite de village d’Oasis, balade en chameau et repas organisé dans le désert délicieux devant un super coucher de soleil et de la musique tout était parfait. Je recommande vivement ce petit hôtel très familial et déjeuner était au top. Vous avez le choix sur toute la carte sans limite.

Very good place at the starting of the Jaisalmer fort starting journey. Amazing sit-out space at th rooftop. We stayed there for the whole time. Amazing cozy corner.

Хорошее расположение в самом форте, старом городе. Комната небольшая, довольно чистая. Постельное белье было чистое, полотенце одно с пятном большим грязным. Хорошее, теплое одеяло плед. Не замёрзните ночью. Персонал приветливый. Вполне хороший вариант за эту цену. Но есть нюансы, опишу в другом пункте.

В первый день одноаременно пропал свет одна лампа в комнате и в ванной комнате (они видимо взаимосвязаны) но вторая лампа светила в комнате. При заселение утром удалось с дороги принять горячий душ, это очень хорошо. Но в остальные дни горячую воду не получалось поймать. В день отъезда в 7 утра вообще ни холодной, ни горячей воды не было. Хорошо была куплена в бутылках и было чем умыться.

This little guest house is such a gem! Perfectly located right inside the fort near the Jain Temple, it allows easy access to all the main attractions, and you're in reach of anything you may need. However, the biggest highlight is the family who run the place. Paresh & his family are such wonderful people that I immediately felt at home. They go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable, and are extremely helpful, friendly, and hard working. The rooms are clean, functional, and offer great value for money. I shifted to the larger room overlooking the city once it became available, and spent most of my time sitting at the little alcove looking outside and absorbing the magic of the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets! Paresh also organizes wonderful desert safaris, and it'll give you the opportunity to get out and explore lesser known places. If you're looking for off the beaten track activities, ask him about the non-touristy tours 😁. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Jaisalmer. I know I have a second home here now.

このホテルはジャイサルメール城塞の城壁沿にあるため、私たちの部屋（デラックスダブルルーム）からは市内の素晴らしい眺望を楽しめました。屋上にあるレストランでは朝昼晩食事を提供しており、美しい日の出を見ることも出来ます。城塞の中心に位置しているので観光を効率的に楽しむ事ができます。世界遺産を自分の家にするような貴重な体験が出来ました。スタッフもとても親切で、こちらのリクエストに色々と応えてくれました。

ジャイサルメール城内の多くのホテルがそうなのかもしれませんが、砂漠地帯につき水が潤沢にあるわけではありません。そのため、ホットシャワーは夜には使えませんでした。朝から午後にかけては使えます。

Views are great from rooftop but once your are out of fort you have to walk again to the slopy way to reach hotel which feel a bit exhusted

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They offered a welcome drink and recommended an excellent restaurant with local cuisine. On the third day, there was a power outage in the city, but they offered to heat water and arranged a free late checkout.

The bed linen was not clean even after it was changed.

The guesthouse is in a great position inside the fort. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable with a panoramic view of the city. The rooftop restaurant is a nice place to chill out serving lovely food The family who own the guesthouse are very welcoming.

Le rooftop est absolument adorable et l’excursion avec la nuit à la belle étoile dans le désert était vraiment super. Sa localisation est super. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent.

On nous a fait changer de chambre entre la première et deuxième nuit à cause d’une mauvaise organisation des réservations dans la guest house, et l’hôte a eu du mal à nous l’expliquer clairement. L’hôtel reste assez bruyant, mais pas plus que tous les autres hôtels en Inde.

Danke nochmals für die kostenfreie Abholung vom Bahnhof. Der Zug hatte an diesem Tag eine fast 4stündige Verspätung und traf erst gegen 3 Uhr nachts ein. Das Zimmer entsprach den Bildern. Rooftop mit tollem Rundumblick. Eigentümer und Mitarbeiter des Hauses waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und höflich. Die Lage des Hauses nahe City Palast fand ich großartig.

Bekannt war mir, dass es kein Warmwasser 24/7 gibt. Wifi in Zimmer 11 im hinteren Bereich des Flures war schwach. Wifi auf dem Rooftop sowie m vorderen Flurbereich war besser.

Service was excellent, location was quite remarkable within the fort. The entire ambience reminded me of living life king size in a vintage haveli. Prem Singh, owner of the rooftop restaurant was very polite, humble and helpful. The dishes served were palatable yet non-spicy.

L'acceuil du personnel était parfait. Nous sommes tombé malade juste avant d'arriver à Jaisalmer et le personnel a été très gentil avec nous pendant notre séjour. Le restau en rooftop est superbe, avec une vue magnifique. Je recommande fortement d'aller chez eux! La décoration est jolie et on est vraiment dans une batisse typique de la ville ville fortifiée.

We had the perfect experience in Jaisalmer here at Sagar! The guesthouse is located in the heart of the Fort and you can see the city from the terrace, really nice at night and sunset. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, plus the building has a traditional rajasthani style which made our stay special. A special mention to the rooftop restaurant service which was always delicious and joyful.

Very accommodating when we requested a very early check in. Also allowed us to book an extra day because we loved it! The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The private Safari is a must. Neymar and Godu were great. We had a beautiful night under the stars ✨

Nothing not to like. The only issue was no breakfast due to staff issues but that couldn’t be helped.

The property was clean and well managed. Since the moment I arrived i felt home. Parish helped me a lot to discover Jaisalmer. They offered me chai in my arrival and departure, and helped me to book the desert experience and ended up being wonderful!

Maybe the fact that you dint have permanent hot water so you cannot have hot shower whenever you want. But it is understandable as they warm up the water with wood.

L'interno dell'albergo e il rooftop è molto carino, anche alcune stanze che ho avuto modo di sbirciare. La posizione è buona dentro il forte . Nonostante ci siano stati dei disguidi, ho apprezzato molto che il ragazzo della reception mi abbia dato la possibilità di utilizzare la stanza fino alle 19 nel giorno del check out e che mi abbia accompagnata in motorino a prendere l'autobus. Colgo l'occasione per ringraziare ancora. Ho interagito poco con un signore anziano che credo sia il papà ma mi ha dato proprio l'impressione di essere una brava persona.

Purtroppo la pulizia scarseggia all'interno delle stanze e le lenzuola sono la parte peggiore. Come già indicato da altri viaggiatori e anche sul posto,. Ho dovuto insistere un paio di volte per avere un cambio lenzuolo, perché appena chiesto, me ne è stato dato uno davvero sporco. Poi, mi hanno sostituito anche l'asciugamano con uno nuovo. La camera era sprovvista di sapone, carta igienica e cestino della spazzatura tutto mi è stata data dopo averlo fatto notare. L'acqua calda è un altro problema , non è evidenziato da nessuna parte che la disponibilità è in base ad una fascia oraria ( solitamente è la mattina) ,l'ho scoperto proprio perché dovevo fare la doccia ed era ormai sera. Il ragazzo mi ha acceso il boiler e il primo giorno tutto ok. Il secondo giorno dopo un massaggio , nel pomeriggio , avevo bisogno di fare una doccia e altri membri dello staff mi hanno preparato un secchio di acqua calda... così dovevo lavarmi secondo loro. Anche qui mi hanno detto che non era possibile fare una doccia calda e solo dopo altrettanta insistenza mi hanno acceso il boiler. Non è possibile consumare nemmeno un pasto, quindi anche la colazione. Perché il ristorante è chiuso. Ora.. ho letto che il problema dell'acqua calda è un problema generale di jaisalmer. No. Altre Guest house , sempre all'interno del forte e con la stessa fascia di prezzo, non hanno questo problema e sono altrettanto familiari. È la seconda volta che vengo in India e sono una viaggiatrice zaino in spalla, è vero che le lenzuola pulite( pulite si intende che sono appena state lavate e non usate da nessun altro )non ci sono quasi mai , è altrettanto vero che non ho mai dovuto insistere per cambiarle. Sono cose che fanno la cura dell'ospite e basilari a mio avviso.

The place is inside the fort with good view and homely cooked food available at the restaurant above. The fort itself is very clean even if there are many tourists around. The view from the restaurant is really good and they are creating a family kind of vibe at the place. The desert safari they suggest is also good but I hope they include desert private safari with 2 nights and a day as well. The shopping in the fort is great but they rip you off including tuk-tuks.

La Sagar Guest House est un excellent choix pour votre hébergement à Jaisalmer. Les chambres sont confortables, propres, le restaurant propose une excellente cuisine et la vue depuis le rooftop est fantastique notamment le soir. Los trabajadores son muy simpáticos y amables, se siente muy acogedor. La habitación fue muy cómoda y las ventanas daban a las callejuelas, lo que le daba buen ambiente, y luminosidad. La terraza es muy bonita y unas vistas increibles. No hay mucho ruido así que es perfecto para relajarse

So relaxing in the heart of the fort.We changed our room as weather was too hot for us and went for an ac room..this was no problem and overlooked the narrow fort alley and the old maharajas converted storeroom.. We are wildlife fans and being able to watch the comings and goings of the bats that live there and fill the skies at night will be unforgettable.If you are interested in wildlife get this room! Dining on the rooftop terrace and eating Prem"s homecooked food in the evening was magical. Situated in the heart of the fort everything is accessible. Parish the owner is super helpful and kind and can help with anything ..he organises desert trips..trains,buses ,taxis Make sure you book an overnight trip into the desert to sleep under the stars...so romantic... A must do activity. We love it here.
