Não há qualquer atividade no hotel como música ao vivo, aulas de yoga ou ginástica. 4. Não há espreguiçadeiras na praia para utilização dos hóspedes. 5. O colchão do sofá cama (suite 223) era muito duro e pequeno para um adulto.

Hotel a necessitar de obras de manutenção e remodelação da banheira que tinha mais de 60 cm. De altura,por dispositivo mais ergonómico.

1. O restaurante fora das instalações do Hotel, obrigando o cliente a deslocar-se à noite se quiser jantar (depois das 19h) 2. Qualidade geral do serviço prestado no restaurante (tempo de espera longuíssimo, grande desorganização do serviço prestado, refeições de qualidade apenas sofrível) 3. A sobranceria de um dos colaboradores do restaurante (o cliente olhado como um "estorvo") 4. Falta de iluminação no passadiço de acesso ao restaurante. Não basta dizer que ele é público e que portanto não há nada a fazer. Se o hotel "obriga" o cliente a deslocar-se para fora dele (à noite), penso que não seria muito difícil solicitar a quem de direito autorização para colocar um simples candeeiro. É ridículo obrigar o cliente a deslocar-se em plena escuridão quando regressa ao hotel após refeições apenas sofríveis.

Literie pas confortable, pas au niveau. Nous n’avions pas compris que l’hôtel n’avait pas de transat à la plage. C’est dommage. Le café au petit déjeuner n’était pas bon.

The decor is cold feeling, no real relaxing areas, breakfast a bit cafeteria style Plastic bed protector! I removed! The bathroom. It was shower over bath, very dangerous as slippy, no slip mat, water leaked onto floor, tap wasn’t suitable for sink.

A stunning hotel. Really beautiful and picturesque. The outdoor area is fabulous and really comfy beds. The hotel room is an ok size but the bed is super big & comfy. Slept so well every night. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was good too! And of course… leading out into the beach was just Devine. A very short walk into town also.

The shower was finicky. It didn’t work all the time and often went from hot to cold.

Ausência de regras na utilização das piscinas. Havia pessoas com crianças com varias bóias dentro das piscinas e açambarcavam os lugares mesmo não estando na piscina. Dificuldade na regulação da temperatura da água do chuveiro, colchão e almofadas muito desconfortáveis. Para o nível de preço e para um Pestana a qualidade do alojamento deixa muito a desejar.

Na verdade, nada nos desagradou, bem pelo contrário.

Top: Proximité de la plage, le petit déjeuner , Proximité village Alvor 10mn à pied, qualité des produits ( gel douche shampooing...). Accueil très sympa et une attention pour l'arrivée et jour d'anniversaire. Bouteille d'eau en chambre tous les jours. Certaines prestations méritent un 5 étoiles.

Surmatelas vieillissant. Ménage globalement bien fait mais quelques détails d'amélioration ( petits cheveux restants, poussière...) Attention en rez-de-jardin, l'arrosage s'enclenche la nuit, ne pas oublier d'enlever ses affaires au risque de les retrouver trempés ( nous n'avions pas été prévenus).

Best hotel we have stayed at in Alvor and been coming here 20 years. Amazing location , laid back vibe and no rushing to reserve a sun bed in the morning. Breakfast excellent and staff exceptional. The design of the hotel makes it so easy to find everything and relax. Will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel has 3 pools so plenty to choose from and they also are never overcrowded always plenty of food and choice at breakfast and lots of sun loungers and various other outside furniture, rooms thoroughly cleaned everyday by a team of amazing cleaners who w constantly, the location is perfect only a minute walk on the boardwalk to the beach and only about a ten minute walk into the town of alvor, see vice was fantastic always interactive with all ages and happy to help with any requests you have, really enjoyed my 11 day stay here never got tired of the hotel amazing hotel.

My stay at pestana Alvor south beach hotel has been to amazing to describe on just these couple of sentences . I have really enjoyed waking up every morning here for 11 days and thinking today is going to be another amazing day here . Pestana has fulfilled my expectations of everything and it really does create a safe space to stay in Alvor . Everything is amazing here from the hotel itself to the staff as well . All staff members are amazing and really welcoming especially one member called Maria who works really hard and every morning welcomes you either a huge welcoming and positive smile on her face . Me and my family came here 7 years ago and I have enjoyed it this year as much as I did 7 years ago. I definitely rate this place over 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back here very soon .

Just come back after 11 days with my family at this excellent hotel. The room overlooking the pool provided a spectacular view of the three swimming pools. This hotel was was well maintained by all staff Joao on reception who was exceptionally efficient and friendly to dining room staff and waiters and the cleaning staff have to get a mention as they work exceptionally hard.staff . All in all this has been a fantastic holiday. Thank you Pestana Hotel for the memories staying with you.

Vim passar alguns dias de férias com a minha mãe no Pestana Alvor South Beach, um daqueles momentos que só acontecem uma vez por ano e que, por isso mesmo, ficam gravados na memória. E, no final da estadia, percebi que o que mais valorizo numa experiência de hotelaria não é que tudo seja perfeito. É sentir que existe cuidado. O que mais me marcou foi perceber que esse cuidado não depende de uma ou duas pessoas. É transversal a toda a equipa. Desde os responsáveis do hotel até às colaboradoras da limpeza, passando pela receção, pelo restaurante e pelo bar, sente-se uma atenção constante, uma presença discreta, uma disponibilidade genuína e uma vontade sincera de que cada hóspede tenha uma boa experiência. É raro encontrar esta consistência. Não parece um conjunto de profissionais a cumprir procedimentos; parece uma equipa que partilha verdadeiramente o mesmo propósito: receber bem e fazer com que tudo corra da melhor forma possível. Nem tudo correu sem falhas. Ao almoço, houve um incidente relacionado com uma alergia alimentar: por duas vezes foi servido um prato com pimentos, apesar de eu ter informado que era alérgica, e acabei por desistir de comer. Foi, sem dúvida, o momento menos positivo da estadia. Mas foi também aí que percebi ainda melhor a qualidade desta equipa. A forma como pediram desculpa, a preocupação demonstrada e a educação com que procuraram resolver a situação fizeram toda a diferença. Errar pode acontecer. A forma como se responde ao erro diz muito sobre um hotel e, aqui, senti que a prioridade era genuinamente cuidar de quem estava do outro lado. Quero também deixar uma palavra muito especial à equipa de limpeza. Sou particularmente exigente neste aspeto e, muitas vezes, noto que os quartos começam impecáveis no primeiro dia, mas a atenção ao detalhe vai diminuindo ao longo da estadia. Aqui aconteceu precisamente o contrário.

Fantastic experience. Staff were amazing, so attentive. I had an exoerience where I mislaid a small purse that had my watch in it. Tito, the duty manager, was fantatsic. He was so helpful, calling all the staff to inform them about the missing item. He kept me updated on what he was doing and assured me that he would do whatever it takes to find it. Embarrassingly, after 1.5hours of Tito's time...i found it behind the curtain in my room! But his service was exceptional! Really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was gorgeous, pool area was very chilled and kept clean. Couldnt fault the Pestana South Beach. Will be back!

A memorable return visit for a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children ( 10 and 14 years ). Excellent location- near board walk and 2 minutes walk to a white sandy beach . Beautiful views from hotel out to the sea and coast . A relatively small hotel with a very friendly and personal touch. Staff are amazing and very attentive . A very relaxing stay. 3 lovely pools to choose from- very near hotel and sun loungers. Our kids really enjoyed pools , beach, local diving and kayaking. Excellent selection of restaurants nearby - short walk or uber away. Brilliant holiday , would highly recommend for families and couples. Well done to all the hotel staff .

We enjoyed a wonderful week of rest and relaxation at the Pestana South Beach Alvor, a delightful, low-rise, contemporary design hotel with excellent amenities overlooking the beach. Our first positive impression was gained on arrival when the delightful Christina recognised my wife and warmly welcomed us back to the hotel and offered us a cool drink or a glass of sparkling wine. Our spacious suite was on the ground floor comprised a separate bedroom, bathroom and sitting area and opened out on to a patio with table chairs and loungers. The breakfast buffet was extensive and plentiful and in my opinion should accommodate all tastes. The gentleman in charge at the bar area was incredibly service oriented and made coffee to order. The restaurant is an ideal place for lunch or a light snack and a cool drink during the day. The grounds around the hotel are exceptionally well maintained as is the pool area. The staff at this hotel is superb, nothing is ever a problem, their aim is clearly to please and they are genuinely customer centric.

Layout was user friendly with easy access to the outdoor areas and beach. Nice to be in smaller 2 storey building and lovely to be able to walk to the town along the beach.

We just have been staying for a week in the Pestana Alvor South beach. It’s a nice looking brilliant located hotel. Right on an amazing sandy beach stretching for miles. If you like to walk or go for a run there is the attractive boardwalk just in front of the hotel taking you along the seashore. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a fun and uplifting style. We were on the half board deal with a great breakfast buffet with a huge choice of food and even a glass of bubbly available. Lovely fish, meat and other dishes at restaurant in the evening. Great value for money.

Very clean friendly staff great service

We stayed between 17th & 25th June 2026, this was our second stay in less than 12 months. Once again we had a most enjoyable time. The hotel is just behind the beach and its rear entrance leads straight on to the board walk which runs parallel to the long beach across the protected dunes. It’s a short easy 10 minute walk into the town centre where there are loads of nice restaurants. The staff at the hotel are fantastic we will be returning.

This was my 4th time staying here and the quality has not dipped at all. Ideal location on the beachfront. Service is first class - catering, housekeeping and reception.

Although the hotel is at the beach, the beach is managed by another company, so anything at the beach is NOT included. You have to pay a third party for beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. It should be disclosed by the hotel.

Nao é nao gostar, é apenas sugestão: deviam ter um corrimão para sair e entrar nas piscinas. Para as pessoas mais velhas é muito complicado. Também as banheiras das casas de banho são altíssimas, deviam alterar para chuveiros rasos para não existirem acidentes.

The quality of the food did not justify the prices charged. Additionally, the handling of a situation regarding gratuities by a member of staff at the Sea Deck was unsatisfactory. The policy and management of tips should be clearly communicated to customers at the time the bill is presented, in order to avoid misunderstandings and ensure transparency

Excellent location. 2 minutes to boardwalk and another three to the beach. Room spacious, cleaned daily, beds comfortable. Lovely view of pools and sea from the balcony. Breakfast was very good with something for everyone. Great variety. Staff were very welcoming and they were all so so friendly. Great 10 days and will definitely return to this hotel

We liked everything about the hotel and the staff were exceptional. Excellent service from Pedro at breakfast and João in the restaurant for dinner. All the staff were exceptionally good at what they did.

Nothing not to like

It was our third time to stay at the pestana south alvor beach and we really enjoyed it. From checking in with Kristina who remembered us from our previous stays. She was so friendly and chatty, and the glass of bubbly was welcoming. Room was serviced every day and towels changed and bottles of water left. Pedro in the bar was very welcoming and remembered us from before. Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. A short stroll into the village along with boardwalk which is a lovely walk. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will be back before the year is out.

The location

The cleanliness was very bad. We saw one of the cleaners mop the decking area where there was a alot of bird poo and then proceeded to put a cloth into the bucket after and clean the tables🙈 shocking . The mattress and pillows were also shocking, one side of the mattress was on a slope and the pillows were like they were years old.

A limpeza do quarto e a qualidade dos travesseiros poderiam ser melhores. Não disponibilizar café expresso no pequeno-almoço (apenas de garrafa térmica), e máquina de café no quarto. É necessário ajustar a localização do hotel no Google Maps, pois manda para o lado oposto.

Great hotel .Located beside the beach and boardwalk and close walking distance to the town. Hotel is very clean and pools are well maintained . Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. The staff are young and friendly and eager to help. Definately will return .

One of the best things about this hotel was that guests didn’t reserve sunbeds with towels, so there were always plenty available throughout the day. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, is spotlessly clean, and is in an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it. Having stayed at other Vibe hotels, I was a little disappointed with the sunbeds here as they weren’t very comfortable. At another Vibe hotel we visited, the cushions were much thicker and more luxurious. I also feel it’s important to mention that while the rooms have a lovely large bath, the shower is positioned over it. This could make it quite difficult for elderly guests, as there are no grab rails and the bath can be slippery when getting out. My only other suggestions for improvement would be to keep the food hotter rather than just lukewarm, and to check and refill the food stations more regularly before items run out. On our first morning there was no yoghurt available, and although there was a section for fried eggs, there never seemed to be any when we went down for breakfast. And I didn’t get the idea of putting food on top of books! The hotel is in a fantastic area with plenty of lovely walks nearby, most of them fairly flat. However, the walk into town, although only around 20 minutes, does include some fairly steep sections in places.

We loved everything. It's location was perfect. The rooms, dining room, pool area all were immaculate. The variety and quality of the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is located right on the beach with miles of boardwalks leading right from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for three nights at this excellent suite hotel. Our spacious room was on the ground floor with views towards the ocean. Breakfast was an extensive self service buffet providing something for everyone. We enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the pool watching the beautiful birds overhead. Reception staff in the main were friendly and helpful. Although we were taken aback when we asked a junior member of the reception staff for directions to a well known beach front restaurant to be told, she didn’t live in Alvor, so could not help us. Would we stay at the Pestana South Beach again, yes.

Tolle Lage am Strand, Erwartung war 4 Stern, kein Luxushotel, diese Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt. Da Nebensaison nicht ganz voll, eher ältere Kunden. Daher ruhig und entspannend. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass im Sommer bei Vollbelegung es eng und lebhaft wird. Frühstück war für diese Klasse sehr gut, nicht zu vergleichen mit Luxusklasse, aber alles gut. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Excellent bar food and breakfast! Rooms cleaned and extra towels given every evening! Special welcome drinks and fruit in our room staff were so so friendly.

Fantastic Short Stay in Alvor, The Staff are all so helpful and accommodated any request we had. Breakfast while basic was superb quality and the evening meal in The Sundeck restaurant was delicious. Overall the Hotel has a Really nice relaxed atmosphere while the staff right from the Front Desk manager are extremely professional.

Fabulous location on beachfront boardwalk and a short 10/15 min stroll to town centre.

Amazing hotel with amazing sea views. 50 meters from the beach. You can choose if you want to lay by the sea or the 4 pools they have. Nearby caves, grottos right at the beach. Only a 15 min walk from restaurants by the pier. Breakfast is amazing well served. Staff was friendly no worries about that. Asked to be accommodated earlier than regular check in and no issues with that. Will definitely come back. ❤️
