Great stay! The room was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. Both the pool and the breakfast were absolutely top. I highly recommend this homestay!

The property was in a fantastic central location whilst also being tucked away from the Main Street. We could see and hear birds and monkeys in the trees - no traffic noise.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival with chilled fresh juice. Once we were checked in we had a tour of the garden and the beautiful fruits growing there. Our room had everything that we needed for our stay; including fridge, tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the seating area outside the room was a good spot to sit and watch monkeys playing in the trees.

We had a great stay here, the room was spacious, clean and tea/coffee were provided. We also had a yummy breakfast and taxi service to our next destination organised. The pool area is clean and a really nice spot to enjoy the sun - would recommend!

Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the whole place has such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The swimming pool was absolutely lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. It was clean, refreshing, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. 🏊‍♀️✨ The breakfast was also delicious and freshly prepared, with a good variety of food. We really enjoyed starting our mornings with such a lovely breakfast. 🍳☕️ The hospitality was exceptional. The staff were very friendly, kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. The location is also great, with easy access to the beach and Galle attractions. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing experience, and we are so happy we chose Ging View Villa. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special and memorable. Mooi gebouw, je waant je echt bij de mensen thuis ondanks dat er meerdere kamers zijn. Goeie stijlkeuze, lekker zwembad en hele aardige en meedenkende gastheer. Ze dachten goed mee over een driver richting Negombo en hadden verschillende opties voor (kleine) excursies. Ontbijt was heel uitgebreid.

Er zat een bewegingssensor met alarm bij de trap, die ging luid af bij elke beweging daar.

The pool is perfect for a little swim in the end of the afternoon, surrounded by the garden and the trees The break fast was very nice and rich! We could choose between a Sri Lankan breakfast and an English breakfast. We obviously chose the Sri Lankan breakfast and it was every different and tasty served with fruits from the garden The rooms are lovely and the bed is very cosy, we slept so well… Above all, Gayan and Sandya are sooooooooo lovely kind and welcoming! We felt like at home. Gayan gave us many advices for our visits. We asked Gayan we would love to have good fish for dinner one day before and we had a delicious Tuna home made smoked in banana leaves on wood fire… it was very tasty. You should definitely try it but you have to ask at least a day before it is fresh fish !! Thank you Gayan and Sandya for everything! Thanks to you we had an amazing stay in Galle We will come back

Das Familienzimmer war viel zu klein- zu viert nicht machbar (mit 2 Teenagern). Außerdem gab es kein Fenster. Wir haben dann allerdings ein zweites Zimmer zum Sonderpreis dazu bekommen.

It was an exceptional experience... Property owner and staff done an outstanding job and did everything to make our stay memorable... Nice clean environment and cozy rooms... Mr Gayan and his wife were very helpful to provide everything we needed and it was a worthy stay.

We had such a lovely stay at Ging View Villa (Family of 4 with two older teenagers in two rooms). The host couple were lovely, helping us with all our requests such as food, ongoing travel and information about Galle. The rooms are a good size, very comfortable and clean. The pool area is beautiful and you can watch the wildlife as you swim. In the morning, we chose an English breakfast which was very tasty. We would stay in this oasis of calm again if we were ever lucky enough to return to Galle.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! La stanza era curata, pulita e accogliente, e fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e disponibilità. La struttura è bella, con una piscina che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Colazione abbondante, varia e di ottima qualità. Un’esperienza davvero positiva, che consigliamo con piacere!

Nice spacious room. Ours had an extra desk with hand wash sink. Good bathroom with hot water shower boiler. Great pool with covered beds. Joint hallway / balcony with seats. Basic okay breakfast. Location quiet, 6 mins tuktuk from Fort. Keels supermarkt (and bakery) half way at 3 mins.

Super mooi plekje met mooie tuin en zwembad. Lieve vriendelijke mensen die ook vervoer kunnen regelen. Je bent binnen tien minuten in het fort, omgeving is rustig.

De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en terecht trots op hun mooie plek. De kamers zijn prima maar wat vooral fijn voor ons als gezin was, was de extra ruimte op de eerste verdieping met tafel koelkast en speelruimte. Het zwembad is fijn, de tuin mooi en het ontbijt met eten uit eigen tuin heerlijk!

Er viel niets tegen. War handiger zou kunnen zijn de schuif sloten maar dat zijn details.

Het is een hele mooie plek, ruim opgezet, soort oase van rust in een steegje achter een drukke straat. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk, alles is schoon en netjes. Wij zouden het zeker aanraden!

Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires avec un délicieux jus de mangues fraîches issues de la propriété. Un vrai coup de cœur pour la piscine et le magnifique jardin tropical dans lequel on aperçoit même des singes. Les chambres dans un style colonial sont spacieuses et disposent d'un balcon sur lequel nous pouvons nous poser. Des détails comme des prises universelles, des prises antimoustiques ou une bouilloire avec quelques sachets sont très appréciables. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux ainsi que le dîner (qui doit être réservé à l'avance) Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et nous ont organisé le taxi pour la ville suivante. Ils ont également gardé nos bagages après le check out. Vous pouvez donc y aller en toute confiance.

Heerlijk dat er een zwembad aanwezig was de kinderen hebben zich goed vermaakt ! Ook het hele gezin was super lief en behulpzaam en deden er alles aan om het ons naar de zin te maken ! Heerlijke plek met een mooie tuin vol fruitbomen!

Hoewel de locatie dicht bij het centrum is , is dit in het donker gevaarlijk te belopen , wij raden aan om een tuktuk te nemen. Als je het straatje uit loopt zit er niet veel in de buurt je moet wel echt naar het centrum.

C est un super logement avec des hôtes très sympathiques et accueillants ! La chambre était confortable, le jardin est magnifique et la piscine est très agréable . C est un petit coin de paradis reculé du dynamisme de la ville . Galle n est pas très en loin en tuk tuk ça se fait rapidement . Le petit déjeuner est copieux et extra ! Tout fait maison et avec le coeur !! Les hôtes nous ont conseillé aussi une excursion en bateau sur la rivière , c était un super moment paisible à travers la faune et la flore ! Notre séjour dans ce logement a été génial et nous n oublierons pas la gentillesse de nos hôtes ! Merci 🙏🏼

Cadre idyllique et service irréprochable Accueil très chaleureux dans un superbe cadre verdoyant. La piscine et le jardin arboré (rempli d'oiseaux et d'écureuils) offrent un vrai moment de détente. Le personnel est discret et aux petits soins. Suite à un petit problème de douche bouchée, la réactivité a été immédiate : réparation effectuée en moins de 5 minutes ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Host e famiglia gentilissimi. Avevamo la camera al primo piano e ci hanno aiutati con i bagagli. Ci è stato offerto un succo di benvenuto e in generale, anche con i bambini, tutti tanto disponibili. Possibilità di fare colazione tipica dello sri lanka o all’inglese. Bella la piscina, perfetta per rilassarsi e rinfrescarsi. Serve un tuk tuk o macchina per arrivare al centro di Galle, ma è facile trovare un trasporto. Non è centrale ma immerso nel verde e nel silenzio. A noi è piaciuta molto. Camera bella spaziosa e bagno funzionale. C’erano anche i prodotti da bagno disponibili. A/C perfettamente funzionante e zanzariere su ogni letto (comunque non c’erano zanzare). Sarebbe bello un giorno poter ritornare!

El alojamiento tiene un jardín y piscina espectaculares. Tiene árboles frutales y animales que amablemente te enseñan. Somos una familia de 4 y reservamos dos habitaciones, son súper amplias y las camas grandes y cómodas, habríamos entrado los cuatro en una habitación perfectamente. El desayuno está bien la fruta de su propio huerto es deliciosa. La amabilidad del personal es total.

A peaceful villa with beautiful gardens, fruit trees & tranquil pool area. Birds singing & monkeys coming near to feed from the fruit trees. The monkeys don’t come too close just near enough that you can appreciate them. The breakfast was delicious both Sri Lankan Hoppers & English style. The villa is down a quiet laneway that was safe to walk to main road. The host Galan & his wife, make your stay very comfortable and will assist you to feel most welcome. Hot water showers with complimentary tea & coffee in your room. The villa is a short Tuk tuk ride to Old Forte and restaurants. The host family also offer tours.

Wat een warm welkom! Je voelt je er gelijk thuis en de prachtige tuin met zwembad maakte het helemaal af. Wij hebben hier echt genoten!

Ruime, nette kamer, met groot bed, fijn matras en goed werkende airco. Heerlijk groot zwembad en mooie tuin. Ontbijt prima. Aardige, behulpzame mensen. We konden op de dag van vertrek lekker de hele dag bij het zwembad blijven en onze tassen bij de receptie achterlaten, omdat we pas smiddags de taxi naar het vliegveld hadden.

Viaggiamo con una bambina di 6 e una di 10 anni. Struttura molto carina, posizione ottima per visitare Galle e le zone vicine. Ciò che abbiamo apprezzato più di tutto è l'accoglienza. Il proprietario e sua moglie ci hanno coccolati e hanno risposto ad ogni nostra richiesta con gentilezza, soprattutto con estrema attenzione ai bambini. Colazione ottima, tutto homemade, anche la frutta buonissima. Aria condizionata e ventilatore in camera, letti king size molto comodi. Zanzariere ad ogni finestra ma comunque non ci sono molti insetti. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa in ogni momento.

La gentilezza dei proprietari è magnifica..super attenti alle esigenze di tutti, specialmente dei bimbi. Ci hanno preparato cose tipiche e colazioni super abbondanti con frutta fresca e roti fatti ogni mattina con prodotti del loro giardino. Canere accoglienti ed essenziale. Piscina bella anche se nn abbiamo usufruito per tempo e pioggia. Grazie di tutto

Nydelig hotel med en vakker og fredelig hage. Flott basseng. Paret som driver stedet er svært hjelpsomme og hyggelige. Vi fikk nydelig frokost med frisk frukt fra egen hage. Takk for gjestfriheten, her kommer vi gjerne tilbake!

Wie wurden vom personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Es gibt soviele wilde Tiere rund ums Hotel. Wir konnten Affen beobachten, die zum Bananen Pflücken in den Garten kamen! Der Pool war super für die Kiz. Und das Appartment sauber und schön.

Die Villa wird von einem liebenswürdigen Paar mit viel Herz geführt. Vom ersten Moment an hat sich unsere Familie wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist günstig und lecker. Der Garten mit dem schönen Pool wird mit viel Liebe gepflegt. Man kann in den Bäumen Affen, Eichhörnchen und viele spezielle Vögel beobachten. Dieser Ort ist eine entspannte Oase, wo wir uns nach vielen Abenteuern erholen konnten. Ich würde gerne mehr als 10 Punkte geben!

The villa was perfect. It was nice and clean. The architecture and atmosphere was great. There many small cute details. The owners are friendly and they care for the nature at environment. They have decorated the house to be a part of nature. We traveled from Denmark, 2 adults and 3 kids, age 16, 13 and 10. The kids loved the place, the swimmingpool in the backyard, the fruit trees and the welcoming hearts of the owners Gayan and Santhya. On the photos you can see Gayan with the kids. Both him and his wife are very kid friendly and treat all guest with kindness. You feel like a wanted guest in their home and not like a paying customer.

Everything was perfect. I have no complaints!

No electricity for a day

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Ging View Villa bei Guyan! Die Unterkunft und der schöne Garten war sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Zimmer im 1. Stock hatten alles was man brauchte, Betten sehr bequem. Das Beste für die Kinder war der herliche grosse Pool, den wir in der Nebensaison ganz für uns allein hatten. Guyan und seine Mitarbeiten waren sehr herzlich, haben uns Vieles gezeigt und erklärt und vorallem Transport für uns organisiert obwohl Feiertag war. Wir haben einen schönen Ausflug mit dem Tuktuk gemacht, Prade unser Fahrer hat uns Vieles gezeigt und war sehr kinderfreundlich. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch!

Amazing little place. Incredibly kind family owned operation. Rooms were functional and well kept. Powerful AC, tea-maker, and a beautiful pool to use all within a beautiful property. Breakfast was very tasty and well prepared by the kind host family. Highly recommend if in the Galle area!

Выбрал данное местопребывание в основном из-за радом расположенных джунглей, чтобы увидеть их обитателей, в итоге из которых вышли: краснолицые гульманы, павлины, варана же встретил на помоечном пляже, обещанной игуаны не увидел, про живущих прямо здесь пальмовых белок, внешне похожих на наших бурундуков, ниже. В отзывах народ жаловался на слабый интернет, при мне вай-фай работал нормально, предоставляют завтрак, впервые видел омлет из одного яйца, с парой куриных сосисок, размером с сигареты, но это компенсировалось фруктами прямо с дерева, узнал настоящий вкус свежесорванных бананов, а не из камеры газации. На близлежащем пляже купаться нельзя, перед ним отсутствует риф, поэтому постоянно идут океанские волны, который выносят зачастую бытовой мусор, который тут же и остаётся. Поэтому и выбрал место с бассейном, о котором тоже ниже, а в океане купался в крепости, причем не на главном пляже, а на маленьких ещё формирующимся пляжикам по бокам от бастионов. К некоторым из которых есть спуск, в нескольких даже не сотнях, а десятках метров от берега проходит коралловый риф, о который бьётся двух, трёх и более метровая волна, но до стен она доходит в приемлемых десятках сантиметров, завораживающие зрелище. Поскольку форт существует всего сотни лет, выброшенные к стенам обломки кораллов, еще не везде успели перетереться в тот фирменный белый песочек в стиле «баунти», покалывает ступни, но зато можно застать его формирование, так сказать в процессе. А теперь о недостатках, должно было бы насторожит обилие десяток не для пятизвёздного отеля в купе с подозрительно низкой ценой. Я один то помещался в двухместном номере, а вот для двоих жильцом явно маловато, кровать занимает почти всю площадь комнаты, нет стола, вместо него использовал тумбочку. Холодильник явно не планировался в первоначальном проекте и появился позже, для него нет розетки, подключается через удлинитель, ночью надо помнить про который, чтобы не зацепиться по дороге в ванну. Электрочайник нельзя подключить на

Но всё это мелочи, а теперь о главном. Флигель рядом с главным домом первоначально строился в варианте без кондиционера, с естественной вентиляцией, стены заканчивались в сантиметрах 15-ти от крыши, с тех времен остался вентилятор и москитная сетка над кроватью, через которую все же удавалось пролезть каким-то особо мелким комарам, который кусали совершенно безболезненно, замечал лишь кровь после их укусов. Со временем кондиционер появился, а пространство над стенами и под крышей заделано пенопластом, который прекрасно прогрызают живущие тут же вышеуказанные белки, а один из блоков они выломали полностью, он лежал сверху на москитной сетке. Снаружи было забавно наблюдать, как белки пищат, но лезут под шифер, внутри комнаты их не видел, но характерное цыканье прекрасно слышал. Поэтому со звукоизоляцией всё было плохо, я хотел джунгли, я их в итоге и получил, с наступлением темноты их обитатели выдвигались в направление местных помоек, а встречал их хор местных мелких худосочных собачёнек, сил у который хватало лишь облаят высокими визгливыми голосами ночных гостей, тч пока у шавок задор не иссякнет, уснуть невозможно. А теперь, надеюсь, лишь о моей неприятной истории. Расписываясь в журнале посетителей, я увидел, что место не очень то и популярное, несколько гостей за месяц, за день до меня заехала многодетная французская семья, и проводила весь день в бассейне, полностью его заполняя, затем они резко перестали его посещать, уезжая куда-то на тук-туке, он оказался в моём полном распоряжении, но при этом его перестали чистить и фильтровать. В итоге я поскользнулся, как оказалось, на зачем то глянцевой плитке вокруг бассейна, и улетел вниз головой по бетонной лестнице, к счастью успев прикрыть и спасти голову руками, разбив локти и ободрав об бетон обе руки, в полете я зацепился за металлический светильник, раскроив себе бедро на всю его длину. Бинт и йод времен 1 мировой войны мне конечно выдали, но никакой другой помощи и даже сочувствия не высказали, наоборот как

Ging View Villa possède tout le confort qui embellira vos vacances. Rien à envier à un 5 étoiles. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses et la piscine entourée de nature est un pur moment de bonheur. Le petit déjeuner est frais, fait maison et plein de saveurs différentes à chaque fois. Par dessus tout ça Gayan est une personne formidable qui se soucie du moindre confort de ses hôtes. Il mettra tout en œuvre pour que votre séjour reste gravé comme un moment inoubliable. L'implication de Gayan dans l'organisation des excursions et déplacements est appréciable. On avait les larmes aux yeux en quittant Ging View Villa et Gayan.

Nous avons tout apprécié. C’est l’une de nos meilleures adresses du séjour. Un cadre magnifique pour les amoureux de la nature. Un superbe jardin avec arbres fruitiers et fleurs. Terrain appartenant au propriétaire depuis des générations. Il a travaillé dur pour construire cette belle maison typique, tout équipée et avec beaucoup de goût. Le plus, la piscine, le terrain de volley, le hamac et le coin cuisine extérieur. Le propriétaire est super sympa et nous avons beaucoup échangé. Nous reviendrons c’est sur. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux. Chambre avec toutes commodites + frigo + eau chaude avec une bonne pression! Rangement, étendoir, terrasse avec transats très confortables. Nous y avons très bien dormi et serions bien restés plus longtemps. Proche de la vieille ville de Galle.

This place is really nice. Rooms are very comfortable and with good temperature. Breakfast was really delicious. And there is a great pool area. It is close to Galle, you can easily get there with tuktuk.

Lovely little family run resort. The recently built rooms were fresh, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Short tuk tuk ride to Galle fort and railway station. There is a pleasant beach side walk close by. The garden is home to many different types of birds and monkeys can be spotted in the trees. The staff were very friendly and helpful and able to help with bookings and activities. The pool was sparkling clean and refreshing.

We were there during New Year's celebrations and a lot of places nearby were closed.

Mooi leuk verblijf, in een klein rustig straatje net buiten de drukte van Galle. Kngeveer 10/15 minuten lopen van fort Galle. Een tuktuk is makkelijker daarvoor. De mensen zijn er heel vriendelijk en helpen je overal bij. Heerlijke airco!

We had a great stay here and the kids loved the pool. The breakfast was delicious (egg hoppers, fruit, toast and tea/ coffee)

To close the door you had to either lock it on the inside (locking out people on the outside) or lock it on the inside (locking people in). Our kids locked us in inadvertently and we had to climb out through the window!

One of the best things was Gayan organised a morning river cruise for us to check out the local wildlife and then served late breakfast once we returned. Very easy to get to Hikkaduwa and Mirrissa as well as walking distance to Galle (about 25 mins). Peaceful location, No noise except for monkeys and birds.

De ligging. Booking beschrijft de ligging als”in het stadscentrum”. Klopt helemaal niet. Er liggen ook geen restaurants op wandelafstand.

I had such a wonderful stay here and truly enjoyed every moment. The location is perfect – close to beautiful beaches, the city, and all the main spots, yet still peaceful and quiet, which I really appreciated. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. You immediately feel taken care of. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of my stay. The property itself is beautiful, with a lovely pool area where you can relax and unwind. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped – air conditioning works perfectly, there is a fridge, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bedding always smelled fresh, which made it even more enjoyable. You can really feel the attention to detail and care. I felt very happy and relaxed here, and it honestly felt like a little home away from home. I would definitely come back again very soon and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Nous sommes restés 4 nuits. L'environnement y est très agréable. La piscine est grande avec cascade d'eau. Parfait pour se détendre en fin de journée ou se rafraîchir. Les petits déjeuners sont variés et bons. Les chambres sont confortables et climatisées. Le personnel est de bon conseil et gentils.

Rustig gelegen en prachtig zwembad. En de behulpzaamheid van de eigenaars, helpen u met alles om uw verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft ist einfach super – besonders der Chef ist mega hilfsbereit, unglaublich freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und sorgt dafür, dass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit einem Willkommensdrink empfangen, was direkt einen positiven ersten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Betten sind eher weich, was mir persönlich besonders gut gefallen hat. Auch der Pool ist sehr schön und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen gerne wieder!

La piscine est super. Si vous vous y prenez à l'avance, n'hésitez pas à manger sur place, c'est vraiment très bon. L'accueil de cette famille est vraiment exceptionnel 😁 Mon meilleur hotel en un mois au Sei Lanka.

C'est un peu loin du fort, mais comme il n'a pas grand intérêt, c'est pas très gênant. Le bruit de la mosquée, le matin.

We loved our stay at Ging View Villa which is run by a lovely family and very helpful staff. Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 6. The setting is very quiet and peaceful. The room was large with a good shower and lovely balcony. The pool area was partly under trees so plenty of shade and we enjoyed watching the monkeys in the trees nearby. Breakfast was good, also the dinners we had, home cooked and tasty. Would highly recommend this guest house which is by the beach a few minutes by Tuc Tuc from Galle Fort. Pradeep was available with his Tuc Tuc to bring us wherever we wanted at a very good price.

Nothing, everything was great

Très bel hôtel, très agréable et à proximité du fort de Galle. Accueil chaleureux, d'excellents équipements, espaces communs et une très belle piscine dans un jardin très bien aménagé. Je recommande tout à fait ! Les hôtes nous ont proposé un excellent chauffeur pour l'aéroport de Colombo.

Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem dicht an der Stadt. Der Pool ist sehr schön und die Zimmer sind sauber. Uns ging es gesundheitlich leider nicht so gut während unseres Aufenthalts und die Familie war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr unterstützt.

Etwa 2 Kilometer außerhalb des Zentrums sehr ruhig gelegen. Mit Bus problemlos alles in der Nähe zu erreichen. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter ermöglichen einen kurzweiligen Aufenthalt. Inklusive dem Pool alles sehr sauber gehalten. Schöne Zimmer und sehr sauberem Bad. Preis- Leistung absolut top. Und zu guter letzt: feines Frühstück!! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wspaniałe miejsce z duszą i wyjatkowym klimatem. Wlasciciele są bardzo mili i pomocni, świeże owoce prosto z drzewa na śniadanie, czyste pokoje z ładną łazienką, klimatyzacja w pokojach. Na miejscu Tuk tuk który zawiezie i odbierze kiedy tylko potrzebujesz .Świetny basen otoczony zielenią. Naprawdę polecam to miejsce jest naprawdę magiczne 😊
